My wife called from the shower in our basement bathroom this morning, the water isn't going down!
I checked the breaker for our ejector pump and found no problem there.

I began searching for a plumber.  I found All Star Plumbing and Sewer.
I called them around 6:30 a.m.
I described my problem to Bill and asked if he could have someone out to look at it today.

Bill got my information and said I would hear from someone by 7:00 a.m.
A bit before 7, Bill called back and informed me Vince would be out before 10:00 a.m.

Vince called me about 8:45 to tell me he was in front of the house.
By 9:20 he had diagnosed the problem and left to pick up a new float switch.  He returned about 10:00 and by 10:30 the part was replaced, adjusted and thoroughly tested.

Great service from Bill and Vince both!  Reasonably priced service, and the work is guaranteed for 1 year.
I think I've found my new plumber!

I was very happy with their installation of my Rheem hybrid heat pump water heater. It was kind of complicated and I was having a hard time finding someone to install it. They did it quickly and at a good price. Thanks again.

Mo is great.  He is quick to respond, and asks for a few measurements that will help speed up his process.

We had a kitchen cabinet that was coming away from the wall.  He had a plan in place and it worked perfectly.

Mo is fast, efficient, safe, and thorough.  This is my first task I brought to him, but I hope to provide him with more work in the future.

We had a bad situation in our crawlspace with water escaping from a blown check valve. A&T came out within the hour to stop the water and replace the sump pump that was old. The line was also rodded out. The work was done timely, efficiently and professionally. We are happy with the service and highly recommend to others. Also, the company is very knowledgeable in mold and offers corrective remediation solutions.

Joe and his team are amazing. They were able to meet a very tight deadline to assist me with several repairs needed to sell an estate property. Moody has also assisted my aging parents with a variety of repairs to their older home over a period of many years, helping them to resolve some seriously old plumbing conundrums. They regularly offer ideas to ensure that you receive the very best value from their work, and everything they have done for us has been top notch. It is so refreshing to find such a reliable, honest and genuinely kind professional service these days.

I called around 1 pm, and already had an expected time window between 2-4pm. Mr. Rivera came out and explained every little detail on what was happening. He was extremely punctual, fast, and super honest. He even gave good advice for the future in making our plumbing more efficient. I will not work with anyone else now! Awesome experience!

I've used this service twice and each time was happy! The estimate they gave me to root my sink was lower than a competitor for the first visit. For the second visit, they allowed me to purchase my own replacement kitchen sink disposable which saved me money. They also replaced my faucet.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Chicagoland handyman. I was looking for a handyman to complete a few projects in my home. The repairman that I initially spoke with over the phone was super responsive and very polite.

I was so impressed by the Yelp reviews and by the phone call that I immediately scheduled an appointment with him. After I finished setting up the service appointment we discussed the time, location, and other details. I immediately placed an order from my local hardware store and to have all the items (appliances) shipped to my home.

The day before the scheduled appointment the repairman messaged me that he made a mistake and that he was supposed to schedule my appointment for the following day. He also mentioned that I did not send him a deposit to lock in my appointment as if I lost the appointment due to not paying him a deposit. I was confused! We never discussed a deposit or a deposit amount when I spoke with the handyman over the phone. I did not see the other Yelpers reference in their post anything about Zelle quick paying their repairman for a deposit. I thought something was odd I immediately thanked him for his time and told him I would not need his company to complete the repairs!

We needed a quick job of capping off some existing plumbing in our new basement, and these guys were awesome. Oscar was extremely responsive and on top of communication. He got one of his plumbers out quickly and worked within our schedule, and the plumber we worked with was professional and knowledgeable. Got the job done in 30 minutes. I highly recommend!

We've used Preferred Plumbing before and always have found them quick to respond with great service. However, after today's encounter with them, I wanted to take time to leave a review. I failed to get the plumber's name, but initials on the invoice are MJ.

Late last night I was cleaning out cabinets and tossing various items into my garbage disposal. Without too much thought, I poured in a half bag of dry black beans. After awhile, the sink stopped draining and I knew I'd made a huge error in judgement. I scooped out a lot of the now chopped black beans in hopes that would do the trick. Also suctioned out all of the extra water in the sink, and tried a plunger ... all fails! Fessed up to my husband who called Preferred Plumbing.

I was NOT looking forward to facing the plumber with my confession. One other time, I'd stopped up the disposal with flower stems (thinking they were like vegetables) and had gotten a friendly lecture from the plumber (not from PP). However M. J. could not have been nicer or more professional. Never once did he reprimand my error in judgement. He was pleasant while he took apart the drain (which was totally clogged with now hardened black bean pieces). When I apologized again he jokingly said that he'd heard that garbage disposals are a plumber's best friend and that I was not alone in all of this. He was friendly, efficient, cleaned up everything and when I offered him a tip for his positive attitude, he tried to refuse it. It was truly a pleasure working with him. He made a very positive impression on me (and I'll try not to dispose of other items just to see him in the future!).

I just had Dominic come out for the 3rd time. This time it was for a precautionary measure. Dominic is the most honest plumber I know. We ran several tests and told me that everything looked and seemed normal.  

I would recommend Dominic to anyone. He is reliable, hard working, really makes sure you understand the problem and beyond fair with pricing.

We had a leak and these guys were so immediately responsive and communicative and they were able to fix our issue so quickly. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Patrick and his crew were on time, efficient,  thorough and personable! My toilet and bathtub were backed up due to a broken drain pipe that he had to dig a 4 feet trench along the side of the house to take care of.  I am thankful for this company's services! I will use them again for my next project.

Noe came to our unit to fix a clogged kitchen drain. He is very knowledgeable and kind, and took the time to explain what the issue was and how he planned to address it. The sink was fixed promptly and he even took a look at our bathtub and gave us some parts to prevent future clogging. We're very happy with his service and plan to call him whenever we have another issue!

HOA asked us to have plumbing inspected for leaks. Di Foggio tech arrived promptly at the appointed time and made a thorough inspection. Provided a write up as requested by the HOA. I was very satisfied.

I woke up to gas leaks this AM and was shut off by Nicor until they were repaired.  I contacted Andersen's after none of my local plumbers out here in the cornfields could had time for me.  Erin was very understanding and asked if she could have a few minutes to see if she could rearrange schedules and get someone out to me.  Within minutes, I got a call back from Erin to let me know that Gabe would be here in just a couple hours.  Gabe, very personable and a true professional who explained what he was going to do and had it knocked out in a very short time.  They have won me over and are going to be my go to from now on.  I highly recommend Andersen's.

Called to get quote for installing 2 tubs and 2 water closets.     The job was to install a regular tub not a jacuzzi and the toilets are the same floor mounted toilets we all have in our homes.  The guy tells me he needs to see the new and existing tubs and the toilets.  Right away he started by telling me the drains may be different.   Apparently,  he's used to people thinking there must be something extraordinarily different in your regular homedepot.  With that I can tell he's a high priced scammer.  I'm an architect and deal with contractors all day long.  Don't use this guy.

Found NAZ plumbing at the hardware store, local family owned in Bridgeview (872) 800-7943 for balance of work, at an affordable price.

William and team reached back out to me and made sure my original was taken care of and then some! Joseph that came was professional, courteous and made sure all my questions were answered! I'm glad we gave 4s another opportunity to fix our sump pump issue, they were prompt and had very flexible scheduling! Thank you William and team!!!!!!!!!
