I had a great experience with this company. Mr. Burris was timely in that he came to my home the same day I called to request plumbing services. He was prepared with the appropriate parts and knew exactly what to do once he got to my home based on the description of the issues I gave him over the phone.
He was an overall delight to talk to and I will definitely call him again for any plumbing or heating issues.

My experience with Jerry's Pump Service was outstanding in every way. Highly recommended!

Great work, great price. Fixed a running toilet and a drain that had come loose from the bottom of a sink.
Great work, great price, very fair and honest
$150 up front then $90/hr there after.
He does not waste time, he had to take the toilet off a few times to get the seal perfect, all of his work has held up well for over a month.
Will def hire again in the future.

Quick: I needed to replace my overhead microwave unit in my apartment. I reached out to 8-10 different handyman services, fixer was the first to respond. They also were the first to give a quote that was responsible and didn't look the haggle.
Communicative: when fixer reaches out, they have a texting service that they communicate through and have you save in your phone. The texting service Walk's through payment, scheduling, and any changes or updates. After scheduling me a few days later a new appointment time opened up and the texting service alerted me and I made the appointment for the new time.
Professional: fixer had two people come. As soon as they checked in, I received an email/text that said the people had checked in and their estimate for job length. They best their estimated time by 30 minutes which saved me substantial dollars from the initial estimate.
Pro tip: use the Yelp handyman feature for looking for a handy man.

Great work and great pricing. Fair honest and up front.
I've called Konstantin first for my water spigot breaking. He cut out the pipe and installed a shut off valve the next day.
Second; my water heater went out on a weekend. His guy came in and swapped it out quickly and made it so we could have warm showers for work the next day and the pricing was fantastic, plus they hauled away the old one.
Last night my drain backed up during a laundry cycle. He came out today and hydrojetted my sewer line and showed me video before and after of how many roots had invaded my clay pipes.
I would 100% recommend emergency plumbing for any job! It's worth every penny to find a good honest person so if your looking for a new plumber, this is the one!

We had a horrid sulfuric smell emanating from our basement and making the entire house smell like an exploded port-o-potty. A problem with our sewer drains and grease traps were the culprits. This was a reoccurring problem in the house, but this was the most severe case. Frustratingly enough, we'd recently had another company come out just a few weeks before to (expensively) address the issue permanently. Clearly, it didn't work. When ACE responded to my call, Rich had a thorough conversation to help understand the problem and history. When ACE came, they were friendly and on time. After the assessment, Rich explained the previous company addressed only one of the FIVE drains in our basements. The last company didn't even note/check the other drains. Rich could not have been more patient walking me through our problem, the sources, his remediation plans and recommendations for future maintenance. Pricing was clear and competitive before the team started any work. It has been months and I'm so glad ACE's fix was truly a permanent solution!
Lastly, I had another plumbing issue (much simpler), and Rich was so kind to give me a diy solution that worked like a charm--his rationale: I don't want charge you for something that could possibly be an easy fix. He even offered to be on the phone and walk me through the solution if I needed help. These guys will be my go-to moving forward.

I called them because they were in the area. They came fast and very convenient. Not sure if they where pricey but got the job in less than an hour from time of call.

Fantastic response and friendly technician. This is our 3rd time using Excel, and not our last.

I thought they were fabulous until every time they came to fix something it was 550 dollars! I thought I had the perfect plumber but I was wrong and am back to finding someone new!

Would never trust or use anyone else. Friendly, professional and honest. You can't get any better than that. Called when my hot water heater broke. In less than 24 hrs I had a new one. The service man (can't remember name sorry) was professional , knowledgeable , friendly & trustworthy. Came out in a heck of a snow storm & on time wow! In one hour he had remove & replaced my water heater he sure knew his stuff! Have used them for a few years now and will continue to do so. Thanks for the great service TP!

Tim, Andy, and the Keeley's Plumbing crew are outstanding plumbers and even better professionals. Extremely easy to reach, phone never goes to voicemail. Fair, reasonable, pricing. Punctual and polite. I highly recommend them for any sized plumbing job.

Body Plumbing did our City of Chicago Backflow Device testing for our house (we have a home sprinkler system). He came in about half the price of a few other places we called. He was on time, very nice and professional and did all the paperwork. Highly recommended, great experience.

Needed to find a new Backflow inspection company for our home - as our previous vendor chose to shoot up prices beyond our budget.
I was very pleased to have discovered Chicago Backflow.
People I dealt with like Nick, Tiffany, Jessica - and our technician Alan are all superb. I get the sense this company must be managed very well, because everyone has a very nice attitude and exudes warmth.
Alan showed up right on time at 7am (even with snow falling) and was efficient and had a very kind demeanor.
Price was appropriate.
I'll look forward to working with Chicago Backflow again on my annual inspection next year. Thanks again, Mark S.

I hate to be a negative Nancy and want to recognize that running your own business requires a certain amount of hustle but I called this gentleman to help us with a plumbing issue and did not have a positive experience.
I have to say that the communication skills utilized here were not at all impressive. During our attempt to schedule a visit, a key piece of information was shared by me which was quickly discarded - that ultimately led to our missing our appointment. I was very frustrated and shared that with the doctor and received no apology nor an attempt to help us...just a I've moved on, leaving us in quite a plumbing predicament later at night.
To be fair, I'm not sure what his work quality is having not actually used his service. And am guessing by all of the positive reviews, this was a fluke situation. But I was not satisfied with the communications nor the customer service rendered when things got sticky, so I'll not be calling back if we ever need plumbing service again. Just beware: it's not ALL 5 stars over here.

I may have written the review later, but that doesn't negate its accuracy.
The issue with the hot water heater was that Eric told me he talked to them on the phone and they told him it was UL Listed. But his staff that picked it up told me he checked and none of them were UL Listed. But then I came home and it was installed anyway. If Eric had called me with the truth, rather than just installing it, it would've been no big deal.
Eric is right, I DID question his integrity, and rightly so. When the story keeps changing throughout the process, one has to. The bottom line was that they wanted to get a BIG job done in a day or a day and a half, and didn't want to come back, so they pushed certain things through to avoid delays. Eric was good about calling me, but just not good about waiting for me (even a half hour) to call back before proceeding.

Wow. This was a first. Jay showed up on time to his credit. From there it just went downhill. I asked Jay to remove his shoes as we would be going upstairs and there is a carpet runner on the steps and carpeted bedroom he would have to walk through. He said no he could not remove his shoes because he'd be bringing equipment in. Ok, that's a first. Typically contractors will have no problem with this or will bring the blue shoe covers. I mention well, ok, as long as your shoes are clean. He then says this isn't going to work, turns around and walks out the door. I stood there a second, picked my jaw up off the floor then opened the door and said you realize how unprofessional you are acting and he said yep, got in his car and left. Maybe he's a pro at improving water pressure (I wouldn't know), but he's far from having a professional demeanor. I'm willing to bet he doesn't behave like this if it was a man greeting him at the door.

So my FV sensor tripped and shut down my water heater yesterday. I called this 24/hr plumbing company to come and check it out. I have to say I am very disappointed in your company.
While I do appreciate that your guys came out late last night (for a special $159 fee), I do not appreciate them lying to us. They were both very nice and respectful. Almost too nice, talking about kids and sports and the holidays. After they checked that there was no gas leak or danger, I asked if he could reset the FV sensor. He said no and said it needed to be replaced. He didn't have the part to replace it, so he would have to return in the morning and that the $159 would not go towards the cost to replace it, that would cost between $500-$800. I said maybe there is still a warranty on it and I would call the manufacturer in the morning and then decide what to do. When I contacted AO Smith (manufacturer) this morning, they walked me through a 20 second reset of the sensor, after asking about any risk to gas or leaking. My wife is pregnant and she really needed to take a warm bath last night. Your guys could have easily reset it and we would have had hot water last night. Instead he tried to tell us that heaters only last 6 yrs and we should probably spend $3000 to get a new one instead of spending $500-$800 to replace the sensor and the pressure valve. That is just a band-aid fix (nice marketing lingo). AO Smith said their tank's last an average of 10 yrs., sometimes longer.
I understand they try to sell customers to make a living. I get that. What I'm mad about is that we paid a special $159 fee and they could have reset it for us so we had water and instead we paid the fee for nothing and for him to tell us we have to pay more in the morning to have it fixed or replace the whole heater. Just doesn't seem like a professional company wanting to help people. They also mentioned that the parts were pretty cheap and it's all about the labor. He said you are basically paying for my vacation, insurance, etc. I get that small business needs to survive, but lying and gauging people when they are in need of help is beyond shady. I found out today that a new heater (same quality, at Home Depot) costs around $1200-$1500 with installation. That is half the price of what these guys quoted.
I also sent an email to the office manager and she gave me some runaround about he didn't want to fix it for safety reasons. I asked multiple times if there was a safety issue and he said NO, I asked multiple times if he could RESET the sensor and he said it CAN'T be reset. I don't like being lied to. I didn't mind paying the $159 if they would have just reset it. I made a FREE call to the manufacturer this morning and spent 20 secs to reset the sensor and it works fine. Hopefully you will read this review and not just look at the 4 star rating that this company somehow got. (87) 5 stars and (33) 1 star ratings. How do you get an overall 4 stars???
