My ejector pump was running non-stop, so I reached out to Pat and he was able to get the right parts and come out to replace it within 24 hours. He was very quick to respond and knowledgeable; just a great overall experience!

Mac is the owner and his cell phone is the contact number for the business. Easy to get ahold of. We texted back and forth and then spoke on the phone. He guaranteed that his quote would be the cheapest I would find for a new water heater. And he was 100% correct. I got quotes from 3 more plumbers and they all were charging over $500 more for the same service. His son and another person came the next day and did a great job getting rid of the old water heater and installing the new one. Would have been nice if they brought their own towels to clean the water mess but I won't complain since I saved so much money. Would definitely recommend this company.

I recently had a situation where my basement sink baked up onto the floor. I called Rescue Plumbing and the lady I spoke with was really polite and helpful and she was able to get someone to come out right away. Sam and Rick came to deal with the problem and they were really great! They wore masks, had shoe protectors and were really respectful and careful inside the house makings sure to keep the work area as clean as possible, not dripping any dirty water on the carpets or anywhere else. They told me what needed to be done before starting and they let me know each step of the way what would be happening. They answered all my questions as they came up and they were really personable and easy to talk to. The problem was fixed with recommendations as to what to do going forward. I will definitely be calling Rescue Plumbing for any plumbing needs in the future!

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

I had Scott come by for a garbage disposal clog - I sent over a picture of the area, and based on that, he showed up prepared with a whole new garbage disposal for me, and installed it!! The clogged one was quite old and the trap needed replaced. He did it all, and was super quick and it was affordable, + told me things to consider in the future / other things that may need replaced / etc.

Gotta add to the positive reviews. Tony came out this afternoon (an hour early after calling to make sure it worked) to fix a backed up sink. He was done w/in an hour after triple-checking and even gave me some tips to make sure I don't have the same problem.

Chicago Sewer and Drain Professionals were amazing! I contacted them via Yelp late at night about a leaking sink. They responded within hours and arranged to come by the next day. When they came they were able to figure out my leaking sink in just a couple of minutes, had the supplies to fix it on hand, and offered to look at another slow draining sink in my bathroom while they waited to make sure the fixed sink was no longer leaking. They also gave me so many great tips on how to handle clogged sinks in the future. I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely call them the next time I need plumbing help.

Windy City Plumbing did a great job for us. Their estimate was far below what another company gave us. They were all super polite and honest. They came in below the estimate which is always nice. Jose ended up not needing to do part of the job he thought he did. I would happily recommend.

The company did a fantastic job of replacing a hot water heater. Really stellar. Responded quickly. Demonstrated fantastic knowledge. Gave a great price. I would never go anywhere else.

Kevin did an amazing job modernizing/ retrofitting the pluming in our condo.  Other plumbers walked away from this job but Kevin thought creatively and did a wonderful job installing a brand new shower where one never existed before, putting in a new washer dryer set up where it never existed before, and replacing the old piping with copper piping for our tub/shower.   I was thinking later about why I was so pleased with his service and realized that it was his attitude (along with his obvious skill).  Other contractors I had come in to look at various parts of the job (particularly the plumbing) were snarky to rude about my budget and the fact that we would be doing most of the construction work ourselves. Kevin was always professional and helpful.

Called about an ejector pump cycling on/off- not an emergency, but wanted it checked out to ensure the pump was not about fail.
Initial response very quick and 2 guys from J were at our house within 1 hour. Our issue turned out to be nothing- too much TP weighing the float down. They checked it out, showed me the issue, cleared the TP, showed me the result. Done!!

Apparently when one of your children flushes down the toilet you need a plumber. All 3 children claim innocence, but I'm pretty sure the 7 month old who can't move (yet) is the only truly innocent one.

Before I realized a stick had been flushed down my toilet we were having some issues with it not flushing so I turned to Yelp to find a plumber. My husband mentioned while we were having a plumber come check out the toilet we should also have our sump pump backup looked at because he was skeptical it was actually working.

I sent Green Tech Plumbing a message thru Yelp and heard back (literally) within 30 seconds from Kevin. I asked for someone to come to my house on Thursday morning and Kevin said he would have someone there at 8am. It was almost too good to be true, but a very friendly Tim from Green Tech Plumbing Co was at my doorstep a few minutes past 8 on Thursday.

Tim checked our sump pump and confirmed it was working. I appreciated that he didn't even try to sell me a new one. From there he went to work on the toilet and pulled out the stick a few minutes later.  He charged us for the hour labor (I believe $180ish). A very expensive stick, but happy a found a reliable and trustworthy plumber for future issues. In the meantime, no sticks allowed in this house!

Danny is a true asset to this company. He was at our place for a good 3 hours cleaning our sewer line. He started with the most cost-efficient alternative of power rodding, which is also more conservative for older pipes.  This was sufficient in order to be able to scope the line and inspect for possible issues. He showed me on the spot that the line itself was unbroken, luckily! Because of this experience with MHJSS,  I am in the process of hiring them for another project, and will use them to inspect my next residence, hopefully soon. Thank you Mike and Danny!

Joel and his team at Captain rooter did an amazing job and their pricing was the most competitive. Our sewer main collapsed and was partially broken for the condo building and they were able to come out and dig it up, completely replace it, pull permits, and redo the cement on top all in about a day and a half. Although this was not an emergency job, they worked really quickly and were easy to communicate with and really straightforward. I highly recommend working with them because they're in Chicago and very responsive and competitive on price, but high in quality.

We had just got a new condo and immediately had an issue with the high-end, really expensive fridge.
It was a nightmare.
We had an appliance guy show up who did absolutely nothing helpful, and charged us full price for the house call.
Thankfully, Darrell showed up at our place next, and was extremely professional, friendly and informative. He not only located the issue, but resolved it (and a number of other outstanding issues with our breakers) in short order. What could've been a very bad situation was handled safely.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough- they've made a customer for life!

Mike is awesome! What started out as a simple kitchen drain rodding, turned into an angioplasty of about an 18 section of drain pipe due to excessive amount of grease build up. Then, in spite of the drain pressure build-up exploding sludge all over him, he held his composure and cleaned everything up. Very professional with a great work ethic. Mike is now my new go-to plumber.

I am so excited to finally have a plumber I trust in Chicago. I was having drainage issues in a bathroom: toilet flushed fine, but the other pipes in the bathroom were gurgling every time I flushed. And there was an awful sewer smell coming in. After researching on my own, it appeared there could be a major issue with the plumbing vents. I called a few places who were going to charge 300+ to come out and look at it. After calling Noel, he immediately asked: how often do you use the shower in there? I said never. He said the u pipe under the shower drain likely dried out which was why the water swishing sound was happening in the drain. He had me run the shower for 30 seconds. It was a miracle - that simple suggestion fixed it! No more smell, no more gurgling. He also took time over the phone to explain the plumbing setup to me (I like learning these things). I am happy i finally gotta guy for my future plumbing issues in Chicago as Noel was a good samaritan today and fixed a problem over the phone others were going to charge out the ass for. Thanks Noel! I'll be sending you as much other business as I can.
