Lou is the best. He is honest, trustworthy, and makes things right. I called Drain-EEZ when I had a bit of a plumbing emergency on my hands. The toilet was gurgling while I was taking a shower and the shower drain began to slow. I had had a pump failure in my place 6 months ago and had the pump replaced. It was a nightmare with the overflow into the house. I thought my plumbing nightmare was behind me until the toilet and shower started behaving strangely. How could the new pump in my unit be failing? I called a different plumber this time and Lou came out. He opened up the pit and noticed that it was not a new pump, but a used pump the previous plumber had installed! Not only that, he had rigged it up with an automatic pressure switch and the float immobilized with a zip tie. Needless to say we were shocked. In addition, it turns out there was an 18 inch clog in the pipe that had not been flushed out by the previous plumber. Lou did all the dirty work, clearly explained what happened and provided great advice. I really appreciate a company that employs folks with such integrity. Thank you so much! If only I could find an honest handy-man, I'd be set!

Our water heater went out last night and I gave Mac a call and he was able to come to our place and do a hot water heater repair first thing this morning. Very knowledgeable and got the work done fast. Great guy and would definitely recommend.

I suddenly needed help with 2 toilets and I called Rescue Plumbing on a Monday morning. Two great guys - Loga and Jenkins - came out that afternoon. They unclogged the toilets and were in the process of replacing the gasket on the older one that was also leaking when they noticed a faint crack in the tank and recommended that I buy a new toilet. I said yes and in less than 24 hours, they were back with the new toilet, installed it and hauled away the old one. Loga and Jenkins were very nice, courteous and capable. I could not have been happier with a plumbing company. Was it reasonably priced? I can't really compare but it seemed reasonable. Thanks, Rescue!

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. I had a variety of plumbing issues on a condo I purchased. Scott was great, he was quickly able to diagnose the problems. After he knew what components were needed, he quickly ran to the local hardware store, came back with what he needed. He was thorough in addressing the problems and didn't leave until he was satisfied things were working properly. I highly recommend him, and will absolutely use him for any future issues.

These guys were great at assessing and solving our problem (mainline clog). They were very thorough and hydrojetted the pipe all the way to the city sewer and showed me the video identifying the problem areas that may need repairs in the future. They spent a few hours working on the job and remained patient and thoughtful all the way through (which is impressive considering the nature of the task). Price ($875) was much better than some other estimates. Highly recommended!

Chris and Julio were AWESOME. They were super courteous and friendly, which is not always a given these days. I called this company to investigate a leak at the base of our toilet -- typically an issue with the wax seal. However, almost instantly they figured out that the leak was from a shoddy renovation job a couple years ago (different contractor); they then fixed it on the spot. This basically saved us from potentially having water leak into the neighbors below us... and all for a very fair price. Highly recommended -- save yourself the time and hassle of shopping around and just give these guys a call.

Gathered 4 different quotes to have a water line and spigot run from my roof deck to our nearest bathroom(~12 ft).  First Chicago Plumbing was the cheapest quote we received, with the next closest quote over twice the amount of First Chicago's.  Moved forward with First Chicago Plumbing to perform the work, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Not only were they the price leader, but their quality of work was/is impeccable. Additionally, the two plumbers that performed the work were friendly and engaging - a delight to work with overall. Having been 9 months since install, the spigot and bib have held up very well through the rough Chicago winter, and I have no doubts First Chicago Plumbing will be my go-to plumbing contractor moving forward.

Kevin is knowledgeable, hard working, and a nice guy. I have hired him for several jobs and will definitely use him in the future.

Our kitchen pull out faucet hose started leaking so I started a project on Yelp for a plumber after I could not find a hose to fix it myself.  Jesus responded quickly and gave me a price to fix or replace the faucet.  We initially set up an appointment on Monday (faucet hose started leaking Saturday but not an emergency since we could just keep the water off) but after looking in stores for a new faucet, my wife did not care for models/cost in store and we found a great deal on line for a Delta faucet.  Jesus was very flexible with rescheduling his visit for the following Saturday because the faucet was to arrive Thursday or Friday.  When it arrived Thursday, he accommodated my request and came Friday.

The actual visit was relatively quick.  The old faucet was not easy to remove but once that was removed, he and his team member had the new one installed in maybe 30 minutes.  It had some extra steps as it is a pull out faucet as well as touch on/off capability which required some extra steps.  

He was very professional and explained what he was doing and I would use his service again.  Cost was fair based on searching online for prices in Chicago.  Before he left, he cleaned and tested everything making sure it worked.  He also accepts credit cards which is always a plus.

I had used Green Tech Plumbing twice in the last two years, both times to install a new ball valve boiler drain for my two exterior water supplies.  Both times they did a great job, but I kind of expected it as they are experienced plumbers.  I used them today for a third time and realized they brought something else to the table.

I submitted a request for a quote over the internet and received a prompt reply with a competitive price to rod my kids bathroom tub and install a new tub spout. When I called the office to schedule the appointment, I spoke with Kevin and he asked when I wanted the work done.  I asked if they could do it the next day and he replied, if the afternoon works. I said can we get something in the early afternoon, as my wife just told me to schedule it in the morning (she was the one that would be home the next day).  He immediately said we'll if the wife needs it done in the morning, lets see what we can do.  What Kevin didn't know is the tub had been clogged since my kids left for college in August and that my wife had been asking me to schedule this work for the last couple weeks.  Next thing I know he's asking me if 9:30am works?  Perfect, the kids are coming home for Thanksgiving break that afternoon, and it looks like I'm going to pull this off after all.

Some quick background on prior plumbing experiences.  I've always had issues with Park Ridge tree roots blocking my sewer line and I've always used the coupon in the Valpak to get the cheap rodding solution. Well, I decided to use those guy the last time the tub was clogged.  The other company left the bathroom a mess and made more of a mess on the way out of the house.  It was obvious that had been a mistake on my part.

So back to Green Tech Plumbing........The next day I got a text from my wife at 10:32am that said OMG best plumber ever.  Kyle was the guy that did the work and not only did he do a good job and fix the problem, but he didn't make a mess, cleaned up the bathroom and didn't leave a trail back out to the truck.  This company does a little bit more and it makes a big difference.  I'll continue to use them for my future jobs.

Connected with Mike to try to get quotes for our HOA. Sent a video of the issue, but he would not provide quotes for issues without coming in person and charged a fee to come for a quote. It is possible that he was frustrated by some of the text messages I was saying and that our HOA would not pay for him to come for a quote, which is his company's usual protocol. When I asked for referrals to another plumber when he would not provide any additional quotes, he would not supply any additional plumber company contacts. I was very disappointed with his communication and will never reach out to this company again.

Our outdoor outlet broke and they were in and out in the same day. Dino and Eli came in, fixed the problem, upgraded our outlet, and were so respectful the whole time.

Our kitchen sink got clogged again I called Chris my go to person. He is able to schedule me within 2 days not right away but no big deal we just need to figure out how to function with clogged sink. Ivo his associates came and tried everything but without a success. Recommend to replace the pipes (just the kitchen). I agreed and able to schedule it the following day. Ivo ( not sure if I  spelled his name correctly) did a wonderful job. I felt sorry for him because of the time and effort he made. Our pipes are fully clogged with you don't want to know,
it's completely blocked. Very nice person. I am just hoping that I will not see him again for good reason. Anybody who has plumbing issues please call them... Thanks a lot Ivo....

We've had several plumbing issues with the purchase of our new home. I trust these guys to be honest with me and fix what needs to be done without overselling anything. Very responsive, reasonably priced and great service. Highly recommend.

I had a really bad kitchen sink clog that I tried snaking it myself with no luck.  Was referred to Mike, called and left a message, and had a return call within 30 minutes.  Mike juggled his schedule to come by same day and had my problem fixed in short order.  Highly recommend calling Mike when you have a need.

Juan was very personable, knowledgeable and eager to help. What struck me from the beggining was his transperancy. He gave me a quick quote for labor, and stuck to the price something that is a bit rare with contractors if I am honest. My water heater was too old to service( rusted out anode rod) but I feel confident in that I now have a great plumber to call when issues come up. Thanks!!!

I found Noel on Yelp a while back for a clog and now he has done 4 projects for me - including a burst pipe emergency in January and he was right here to get it taken care of!  He is the always informative, walking through the current problem as well as what we need to consider down the road for preventative measures (if necessary).  The best thing I can say about a person is that they know their stuff, and Noel does!  Yesterday, we thought we had a problem, Noel came over right over today to  check; ended up  it was user error - kind of a funny mistake on our side ; but he made no judgement and walked me through what needed to be done. He is very focused when working - to get the job done as thoroughly yet as quickly as possible.  He is the cleanest plumber too, very attentive on keeping his work area clean as he works and the area always looks as good (maybe even better!?) as when he started.  Noels work ethic is excellent, professional and as I said before, he knows his stuff!!  One thing I have learned is that anything with water/plumbing needs to be done right the first time and without shortcuts;  with Five Plumbing, you won't need to worry.
