Asked for a quote to replace 3 faucets in my home. After the usual back and forth about the details I sent pictures of the faucets and was waiting for a quote. Get a call back and am asked to sit down. Was told it would cost $300+ dollars PER faucet to do a replacement. Seriously?? From pictures??  Not very professional. Good news is I ended up doing the work on my own spending about $100 at home depot. Thanks!

We decided to upgrade to a tankless water heater last year and shopped around for good plumbers.  Mac was by far the most responsive and most reasonably priced.  He was very knowledgeable and professional, showed up on time, and he even came back 6 months later and showed me how to flush out the unit.  We highly recommend Mac!

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. I had couple of issues at my place from shower not working to kitchen sink.  I was looking for a plumber who was reliable and did a good job after having some bad experiences in the past with the quality and reliability.  Scott was recommended by a friend.  He called me prior to his appointment to let me know that he is running 30 minutes late and he did get at my place on time.  He was able to get all the job done within few hours. Now I can enjoy my shower again!!

Rocket Plumbing are one in a million - Marlon came to our rescue today to install a new water heater after ours broke suddenly and leaked all the way into the unit below!  After being referred to another plumber who wasn't sure when he could make it, I called Rocket and within 30 minutes Marlon was installing a new hot water heater.  Brian who answered my call was super helpful and helped me through what kind of heater we needed, the brand and answered all my questions.  He also arranged for a heater asap, just as the shop was closing.  When Marlon arrived, he was super informative, talked me though everything he was doing and even called an electrician for me at the end for some extra work we needed doing to our heater.  I couldn't recommend this company high enough, they are professional, quick, affordable and reliable.  I will never contact any other plumber now and will refer all my neighbors to them -thank you Marlon and Brian!

It's unfortunate that I did not receive the incredible 5 star service everyone else has lauded. During my initial call I asked Jose's assistant if my home was in their service area but I was directed to speak with Jose directly because the assistant doesn't know that - a key piece of information I would think. I spoke with Jose, explained my clogged drain situation and he proceeded to quote me a worst case scenario estimate. A bit tough to process but I can understand the approach - at least you know what the cost ceiling is. Jose said I could text him with my decision. Thought it over, followed up, and was scheduled for a PM visit the next day.

Jose was kind enough to call while on route to my home, I advised him someone would be at home and that I was not too far (on the way home). He spent less than 15 minutes at my home, told my relative that he may have to break open the wall to figure out the situation, and then said he had another house to attend to and would call me back later with more information. Never called me back.

While the communication was great, the service call was completely unprofessional. What an incredibly poor experience to have someone show up and abruptly leave without ever making any sincere effort whatsoever. Terrible.

My situation changed from a leaky faucet to a failed sump pump. AP Construction (APC) contacted me and came out the next morning. After a quick tour of the house, they quoted me a price. The got the parts and began the repairs, and in no time things were looking good. Then APC found an additional problem and made arrangements for a referral and those men came out shortly and they then solved that problem (unknown to me) as well.

Through all the ups and downs, things were explained to me and I was asked to participate in the process - they explained everything and why they were recommending things. I found APC to be very professional, courteous and respectful to my needs and would encourage that you ask them to look at your plumbing problem and offer their advice - a second opinion that might save you some aggravation.

Their fee was reasonable, the workmanship was top notch and I not be looking for another plumber as they are now my first call...

I should have reviewed this a long time ago - my disposal started leaking under my sink...I posted on yelp for quotes or people that would be interested in my neighborhood for this small job.  I got a few responses but Sound got back to me right away and was able to come the next day. He offered to bring a comparable disposal or if I opted to get my own he would install.  I let him do it all.  Not only did he come and do the work fast and efficient - he also fixed the pressure on my sink that has boggled my mind since I've lived here.  Great guy - highly recommended.

After two less confident plumbers were unable to perform the job, Jesus was the plumber that was able to cautiously open a 50+ years old main sewer cap to clear a main line without damaging the clean out pipe at my building. He even rodded the main line twice to make sure the line was completely clear. Before securing the clean out cap back on the pipe, he cleaned and lubricated the threads. He then installed and remove cap twice to make sure it will seal correctly and wasn't cross-threaded. What he charged for the job was very reasonable. Jesus arrived earlier than expected at the appointed location. He is honest and polite. Very knowledgeable and meticulous at performing his job. If you hire Jesus, you definitely need to check out his work truck. You will see and understand why he takes great pride in his profession.

Where to begin... yesterday I called up Green Tech Plumbing because of a leaking valve in the crawlspace of my home. Now, normally something like this would be super easy to fix (just tighten the nut) BUT I was nervous to do it myself because I have no idea where the main water shut off is. My house is old, I'd had other plumbers not be able to figure it out, so I thought one just wasn't installed. Anyway, I called and spoke with Kevin, explaining my problems and we talked through the problems and what the solutions would be. He gave me a quote over the phone but said that he would have his guy (who wound up being Tim) look for the water shut off before installing a new one. By the by, my home is old so it is completely possible for there to not be a water shut off valve other than what the water company uses (in case you guys think I'm nuts). Oh, and Kevin said that it would take 3-4 hours to do and would cost $500 - $600. I agreed and we set an appointment for the next day (the leak was just dripping so not an emergency).

Cut to today, Kevin calls to make sure I'm home and tells me that Tim is on his way. Now, I really appreciate this because there is nothing worse than having some strange man show up at your house and you not know who he is or what he's doing. Anyway, about 10 minutes later Tim shows up. I show him to the crawlspace an reiterate the problem. Tim was down there for less than 2 minutes and found the leak, assessed the fix, and found the water shut off. 2 minutes. I was shocked because I had a couple contractors and a plumber not be able to find it! Anyway, I asked Tim to show me exactly where it is and if we could double check that it's the shut off for my entire home. He was super patient and showed me the valve and waited for me to double check all the sinks and tubs. Sure enough, he was right and that was the water shut off. Tim even showed me how to tighten the nut and explained that it's common for a leak of that nature just due to turning the handle on and off. So yeah, I was stoked with all that and the best part? When I asked how much I owed, he laughed and said he didn't do any work so it was free of charge. I mean, I insisted on paying him and he said it was fine and to have a great day! So not only did I get great service from the moment I called and spoke with Kevin. But then Tim shows up and is patient and allows me to follow him around to see what he's doing and to make sure I understand my own house. But no charge?! Wow.

All of that being said, I highly recommend Green Tech Plumbing. I will definitely be using them for all future plumbing projects.

This was the 3rd plumbing company to come to our house in 24 hours to address some awful backup in our basement. They totally saved the day and got us flowing properly again. Will definitely recommend and be our first call in the future. Thanks, Mike!

I needed help fixing a leaky pipe underneath my kitchen sink along with having my toilet replaced, and their plumber Manny came and provided friendly and helpful service. He made sure the work was to my satisfaction, and he took care of everything I needed.

Darrell is the man!  He did an electrical and plumbing job in my bathroom.  I now have a new exhaust fan and updated toilet & sinks. He was attentive to everything I needed done and made clean up a priority.  He has the attention to detail I was looking for.  He was sure to get my approval at every step. Sims & Sons is in my phone for all future plumbing and electrical issues.

Our kitchen sink got clogged again I called Chris my go to person. He is able to schedule me within 2 days not right away but no big deal we just need to figure out how to function with clogged sink. Ivo his associates came and tried everything but without a success. Recommend to replace the pipes (just the kitchen). I agreed and able to schedule it the following day. Ivo ( not sure if I  spelled his name correctly) did a wonderful job. I felt sorry for him because of the time and effort he made. Our pipes are fully clogged with you don't want to know,
it's completely blocked. Very nice person. I am just hoping that I will not see him again for good reason. Anybody who has plumbing issues please call them... Thanks a lot Ivo....

Super thrilled with this service! Lenny was fabulous, super quick, and effective at diagnosing and treating all of the complicated issues with our ~80 year old bathroom toilet, sink, and tub. He knew just what to do to make things work smoothly again. I also appreciated that he was very careful with covid precautions (mask, booties) and respectful throughout. I would absolutely rehire for any future plumbing needs. An easy 5 stars from me!

I had a rocky toilet that was supposedly fixed by Chicagoland Handyman in June of 2022, but five months later the rocking was back. I searched for a plumber to fix this unsteady toilet once and for all. I called Mike the Plumber. He was able to come out the next day and was able to to stabilize my toilet. Mike the Plumber was very nice as he explained what the problem was and what he was going to do to fix it. He said if the rocking comes back (which it won't) he will tend to it. I will definitely call Mike the Plumber for any future plumbing issues in my old building. Thank you Mike!

Noel came through and saved our ass --  in spite of poor communication on our end. We needed him at a specific time on a specific day in order to finish install of a new countertop and backsplash by a less than reliable supplier.   He was at the top of his game when none of the rest of us were.
