Mac came the same day that I found out my water heater was leaking gas and had to be switched off. Thankfully my hubby found Mac. He came in the evening and tightened everything and checked for further gas leaks. None found and all in about half and hour. So hopefully there is no other problems with gas leaking but if parts need to be replaced I will definitely call Mac to do tge job. I would trust Mac for any plumbing services. He is honest, straight to the point and reliable. Funny too we had a good laugh.

After 4 separate plumbers came to my property to find a leak that ruined three rooms in my condo, Dex and Sam were the only plumbers to successfully come fix it. They easily found the problem in a short amount of time, after hours, and fixed it immediately. Couldn't have asked for a better experience with them and I hopefully will never have a water problem again, but if I do, I will be calling them.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Jose and his team are awesome! Our new (but old) house was having problems with drainage, so we tried Windy City Plumbing.  They were able to come to our house right away, and took care of 30 years of grease build up (rodded, cameraed and jetted pipes).  Jose was able to diagnose and solve our problem quickly.  He is extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and also affordable.  Highly recommend!

I had to replace my garbage disposal under the kitchen sink. I called four different companies to get a quote. One company told me they couldn't give quotes over the phone; they would have to come out, but I would have to pay them for coming over even if I decided the quote was too high. The other two companies gave me ridiculously high quotes. When I called First Chicago Plumbing and explained what I needed to get done, they gave me a very reasonable quote and scheduled an appointment three days later. On the day of the appointment, they called an hour before to let me know they were on their way. They got everything done in 20 min. They were very nice and professional. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again for any of the plumbing related issues.

I called very last minute and Kevin and his partner had no problem making time for me even though it was well into their day. I really appreciated it. They did great work and were both super professional. I highly recommend them.

My kitchen sink's hot water lacked pressure. I was informed by Jonathan over the phone that it was a free estimate. However when the plumber Chew showed up he said it was $200 for him to bring his tools in to diagnose. Any repair would be additional. That was quite a surprise!

That's playing with words a free estimate normally and customarily should come after a diagnosis! Their business practices seemed highly irregular!

Like other plumbers they should have included a fee for a diagnosis in order to provide an estimate upfront. A lot of them reduce the final price by the initial charge for the diagnosis and the estimate.

I even called Jonathan at their office back to confirm he had informed me yesterday that it was free estimate and that I wouldn't be charged unless the plumber does the repair. This morning Jonathan still insisted that it was a free estimate , however, added the plumber who comes can charge whatever he wants! Hirer beware!

I kept getting a clogged kitchen drain that another local plumber would rod out. It was happening so frequently I was almost paranoid using the sink. I was using the drain filters, etc. well when it happened again only a few months later I took matters in my own hands and started using drain openers etc, only to notice a pipe leaking in my basement! I decided to go with Yelp recommendations and called Green Tech. They explained that my pipe had not been installed at an angle ( ok I'm using the wrong terminology) and it was not draining, causing an accumulation of gunk. That, as well as the old copper pipe material, were a recipe for disaster. They came out at a time convenient to both of us and replaced the pipe. They were neat, clean, and finished before the anticipated time. I would not hesitate to call them if I had a new problem in the future!

Highly recommend Mike and his team! The sewer main in my building was backed up and we had to get the main pumped and hydrojetted. On top of doing good work, the customer service exceeded expectations. Mike was incredibly responsive in the initial discussions, quoting, and scheduling process and was able to get his team out quickly to get the project started. Everybody was knowledgeable, capable, and friendly. Would definitely hire them again for big and smaller plumbing needs!

My toilet had been leaking every time I flushed it; going onto the bathroom floor.  Stopped using it for a month, since I was busy traveling back and forth from Chicago to Detroit to help out my father, who was in the hospital for over a month.  

Captain Rooter sent out a great service technician in Adam A.  He did a tremendous job in quickly analyzing the situation and applying a fix to the problem.  He worked fast and was clear in his explanations.  I would highly recommend Adam, if you call Captain Rooter.  

He even threw in a free part he happened to have to help with the cost.   He was friendly and efficient.  He provided info on home owners insurance and recommended a good company too.  Overall a great job!!  I'm very relieved to have this taken care of.

Darrell and Nel got to my house less than an hour and a half after my initial call.   They quickly fixed our electrical issue.     Excelent service.

We had some water leaking from our ceiling under a bathroom. I put out several request for quotes on Yelp and Dmitry was one of the first to respond and the only one who didn't push me off until business hours or ask for a consultation first before offering an appointment. We chatted within minutes of my response to him; he offered some troubleshooting over the phone, and was able to get someone out to us within 36 hours.
Lenny arrived to the minute of his promised arrival time, was very efficient, and did a nice job explaining what was needed. He even looked at and addressed an unrelated issue for us. And he left us with a very nice gel pen.
