I called because my garbage disposal was not working. I called and the person I spoke to calmly talked me through how to reset it and get it working. I was not a repeat customer -- had never spoken to anyone at the company before -- and they saved me all of the cost and hassle of having someone come out to look at the disposal. Like, five minutes on the phone and no money out of my pocket. That's five stars.

I wasn't sure whether to be glad that Mac came back so many times to fix his poor work or if I should be upset that he couldn't get it right the first time. He is difficult to pin down on a time, even a loose window. He always seems in a rush and is less than patient. He has no attention to detail I can't recommend him. He is difficult to work with and schedule. The work itself was okay, but only after he fixed it three times. On top of all that, he is pretty darn expensive. I'd go with someone else if at all possible.

Had a great experience with Dan.  Quickly able to schedule appointment, communicated when nearby (within appointment window), free estimate, clear explanation of recommendations and pricing, quickly completed the repair work, respectful.  He also provided a few handyman type recommendations unrelated to my repair.  Would definitely use them again.

I had a sewage backup in my basement.
I called in the morning and thankfully they had an opening.  They got to working right away. A responsive and respectable team.  
They explained all the issues and found one I will need to address at some point in the future.

Chris and Sam came out to fix a leaky faucet that I thought I had already fixed but then I discovered water dripping from the ceiling. They explained what they would do and the worst case scenario and then got to work. Within a couple minutes they called me back into the bathroom and told me I just hadn't tightened the stem enough! They stayed for a few ore minutes to confirm that there wasn't any leaking and then cleaned up and left. All within about 10 minutes. When I asked how to pay for their time they said they wouldn't think of charging me for it - it's the holidays they said! Such nice gentlemen!

Communication by e-mail seemed to work best - it was quick and clear and left us knowing what to expect. Charges were exactly as quoted, the work was done correctly, and the plumber was able to speak with our home warranty company so the repair could be partially reimbursed. Appointments must be cancelled or re-scheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

5 stars all around for Sound Plumbing! I requested a quote through Yelp and within 20 mins was scheduled for the following day. They offered same day but I wasn't home at the time.

Prompt arrival within the 1-hour window, removed shoes without asking, got straight to business and resolved the clogged tub right away!

10/10 will call again for any plumbing issues and you should too!

I had called two plumbing companies to rod out a kitchen sewer drain and they failed miserably. Thankfully, I call Jesus and in 20  minutes resolved our problem flawlessly. He was very clean, polite and stuck around to be sure the drain was cleared properly.
I recommend J Sewer without any hesitation.

We needed a plumber ASAP. I quickly looked at Yelp reviews and Green Tech stood out as: honest, reliable & nearby. I called Kevin at 8:10am. By 9:30 he himself was at our home and solved the problem quickly. It wasn't cheap, but it was an emergency & I don't feel cheated. He also gave us recommendations to help avoid the problem in the future. We'll be calling Green Tech next time we need plumbing service.

This was the 3rd plumbing company to come to our house in 24 hours to address some awful backup in our basement. They totally saved the day and got us flowing properly again. Will definitely recommend and be our first call in the future. Thanks, Mike!

This company is highly reliable. I 100% recommended in any plumbing emergency. Adam and Hector helped me unclog my tub and did a neat work and advise me on how to prevent any future problems!

Darrel's electrician Nate completely redid the electrical for my 3 flat -- service line, building rewire, new outlets, switches, and installation of all fixtures. Care was taken throughout the entirety of the process to make sure everything would function properly. Their ideas to add things that would improve the functionality of the building were spot on (intercoms, island outlets). I was on a budget and did not feel oversold, everything turned out flawlessly in the end.

I also completely redid the plumbing and had to do extensive gas work, and specifically Zeno's work was excellent. All of my internal plumbing is drastically improved, and we were able to service the addition of a W/D and dishwasher on each floor.

Our bathroom sink became completely clogged on a Saturday morning. It's the only upstairs bathroom in our home and needless to say - a nightmare when unusable. I called Hristo at ABV and he was able to come out and clear the drain in a matter of hours. He also repaired a leaky drain in another washroom. Price was very reasonable with excellent customer service. Highly recommend ABV!!

I can't imagine a better plumbing company. I first called them when water stopped draining down our kitchen sink. They came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and cleared it. A few weeks later, when we noticed a leak coming from our closet ceiling, I called right away. They came out quickly again, diagnosed the exact problem, explained why the pipe had corroded, and repaired it with no time wasted. Unlike a lot of companies, these guys have always worked efficiently, accurately, cleanly, at reasonable rates, and got the job done right. This is the only plumber I'll call in the future. I had a rocky toilet that was supposedly fixed by Chicagoland Handyman in June of 2022, but five months later the rocking was back. I searched for a plumber to fix this unsteady toilet once and for all. I called Mike the Plumber. He was able to come out the next day and was able to to stabilize my toilet. Mike the Plumber was very nice as he explained what the problem was and what he was going to do to fix it. He said if the rocking comes back (which it won't) he will tend to it. I will definitely call Mike the Plumber for any future plumbing issues in my old building. Thank you Mike!

This was the second time we have used A&Y plumbing and we couldn't be happier. After the first time my husband saved his contact info so when our sub pump went out we knew who to contact. Both times Juan had a very quick response response time. He is always incredibly efficient, and professional. Prices are fair and honest. Cannot say enough great things about Juan!

Noel is hands down the best plumber I have ever used....it isn't even questionable. Super professional and highly skilled. We have used him twice already; once for a leaking toilet and most recently for a new garbage disposal. A terrific person as well....really enjoy him and wish we had more contractors like him!
