I've used Drain-EEZ plumbing for a long time. They come out the same day, and the prices are reasonable. This plumber is very professional, dependable and courteous. I definately recommend this plumber!

Hot Water Repair! No Problem!

Our kitchen faucet started to show signs of wear and tear after 10 years.  The faucet occasionally leaked water and the stream from the spray was weak. The time had come to replace the kitchen faucet.

My husband watched a few Do It Yourself - faucet replacement videos on Youtube.  Pretty straight forward right? WRONG!!!!  He got stuck on step #1.  Turn off the water valves underneath the kitchen sink.  My husband tried and tried to get the hot water to stop flowing with no luck.  After doing some additional research on the internet, my husband came to the conclusion that the valve needed to be replaced.  Replacing the valve would involve turning off the water for the entire 18 unit condo building.  In addition, we would be required to notify the condo association and obtain permission. We would also have to provide the name of the plumbing company and proof of insurance, etc.  Suddenly, this was no longer a DIY project as we needed to bring in an expert plumber.

We contacted Mac at Fastplumbing247 Water Heater Repair & Install.  He came out the following day with his tool box and some spare parts.  Mac quickly shut off the water to the building.  Replaced the hot water valve.  Tested the system and discovered the cold water valve was also defective.   He quickly replaced the second valve. Once the valves were replaced and tested out good, he went on to replace the kitchen faucet.  Due to the plumbing system being in place for the past 10 years, there was much corrosion and clean-up of the system required.  Mac tackled the project like a champ.  He is an expert plumber and is very methodical about his problem solving approach.   He was able to quickly fix the problem, replace the faucet, and clean up the system to a like new condition.  

Mac completely dug us out of a hole and saved the day. My husband was definitely way over his head and what would have taken him an entire day to fix, Mac was able to take care of in a short period of time.

We are new homeowners and had a few questions about plumbing home maintenance. The pair took the time to walk through our home and educate me on tips, what to look for, what to worry about or not. It was quick and easy to schedule. I didn't schedule work for that day only because of attention to inclement weather and respect for their time, but I will be choosing their service team. There was also no cost incurred for having them by to assess our needs.

Scott is a tremendous find! Plumbers can be so expensive and many are kind of unreliable, but Scott is responsive, a great communicator and, most importantly, a very skilled plumber. He fixed our non-working shower in under an hour at a very reasonable price. He's also very friendly--we really enjoyed talking to him and our dog adored him. Highly recommended!

We had a leaky faucet and purchased a new one from Home Depot.  Unfortunately, with the lime deposits inside the old fixture, we were unable to replace ourselves.  So, had to reach out for professional help and I knew calling a plumber is not the most economical thing to do, but when your back is against the wall, what else can you do?

We called Rocket Plumbing based upon the stellar Yelp reviews.  They followed up and set the appointment.  So far, so good.

The plumber shows up early for the appointment and that was great!!  We agreed on the price and he installed our faucet from Home Depot.

Here's where the story takes a bad turn.  The faucet had a problem with the cold water knob and even after exchanging the knob, the problem persisted.  So new faucet, no leak, but bad cold water knob.  Through the wonders of social media, the owner reaches out to me THAT night to see what he can do to make the situation right.

After a great phone conversation, we agreed that we should get a faucet from him and that they will get it installed for us.

The fact that Brian cares enough about his professional reputation and wanting to do the right thing, he earns 5 stars from me.  So, looking forward to getting my new, new bathroom faucet installed.  Thank you Rocket Plumbing!!!

Thomas is incredible! When I first called him, he offered me advice on how to unclog the pipe before even sending someone out to me. He said, let me save you money, if you do this and it doesn't work, feel free to call me back. Well I needed his services so after a week, I called him back and he sent his team in THAT DAY. Within 30min my drain problems were gone and it was all because of Thomas and his excellent team.

If I ever have another drain related problem, this company is my go-to! Highly recommend

I had two different issues I was working on for my house.  The first issue was HVAC and the second was repairing pipes due to a recent valve replacement that resulted in diminished capacity.  In calling around for quotes I saw Windy City Plumbing and decided to call.

In talking to Jose, he mentioned an HVAC guy that was top notch. (Cernes Environmental) In calling them, they saved me thousands of dollars... defintely worth calling.

After getting Jose out to look at this job and describing my situation, he offerred a quote.  His approach is to give a Not to Exceed quote for work to be done.  It can come off as daunting, but he really does mean it.  If his quote is low, he absorbs the cost.  If the quote is high, he will reduce the actual billed.   This certainly is a start of what differentiates him from the rest.

He gave me a rough estimate and I'm looking forward to the paper estimate in the near future.

In the meantime, he came by to check another valve that another plumber had adjusted.  He found that the valve was not fully opened and that I no longer needed to do the multi-thousands of work.  This increases his trust value with me.

I'm looking forward to seeing the quote and seeing how we can work through getting the work done.

Eugene and Jorge did a great job replacing my tankless water heater.  They really took their time and did a top notch job.  They really know the Navien products well and their response time and communication were the best of the plumbers I had bid on the project.  Highly recommended.

I work at a non profit art gallery in the river west area and had to finish installing an exhibit for an opening two weeks ago.  After arriving early in the AM to finish installing the show, I noticed that one of our toilets was not flushing.  In fact, it started overflowing into the bathroom.  I had too much on my plate and immediately knew I needed a plumber.  i called Sound Plumbing and talked to Kevin.  I was on the way to his next job and he said he'd be right over.  Kevin showed up less than 20 minutes later, snake in hand, and got right to work.  Within minutes, he cleared the obstruction and had the toilet working fine.  Problem solved.  Never before have i had such a professional and prompt response from someone in the trades.  I will definitely use Sound Plumbing the next time the need (and waters) arise.

Found this company on yelp. I needed someone immediately. They came out the exact time I needed them. They found a simply overlooked mishap and fixed it with no charge. They fixed my other problem quickly and professionally. I highly recommend these guys. I've already giving their information to my neighbors as a great reference.

This review is long overdue. Darrell is hands down the best of the best. We reached out to him to receive an estimate on getting a bunch of electrical work done on our condo. He was quick to arrive, explain everything, and provide a really fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and will for sure be using his services in the future!

The plumber was on time, he was courteous and even covered his boots with booties so as not to track into our house. He took pictures of the work and showed it to me when the job was finished. The internet said the job would take a few hours, he was done in 40 minutes. He cleaned up nicely. You wouldn't even know he had been there.  
So far, the repair of our toilet has held up and I expect it will. Should we need a plumber again, ABV will be our first call.

I called CJ Plumbing when the sump pump in our 4 flat failed, received a call back from the owner immediately, and had the pump replaced within a couple hours.  He (Dmitry) spent the time to ID the right size pump for the vertical clearance, and actually replaced the original with a more powerful pump based on the tech's input after arrival.  Warranties and cost of the job were clearly explained upfront.  This occurred during the Covid 19 crisis and the tech wore protective gear and sprayed alcohol on all surfaces he touched.

I highly recommend CJ Plumbing (Dmitry) .  Speaking directly with a knowledgable, dedicated owner made it a lot simpler to understand, budget and get the repair done.

We love Mike The Plumber and highly recommend him.  He just assisted us with two small plumbing problems at our new house in Rogers Park.  He was so pleasant to work with, fixed the issues quickly, fixed a few other issues in the process, recommended some changes, and was so reasonable in his price.   He also loves dogs, and took time to pet and play with our two pups in the back yard.  Mike is now our go to plumber, and I suspect our pups will be trying to clog our pipes so that Mike gets a call to come back.

Noel is Great!!
I called to schedule some minor plumbing work (I thought), and Noel called right back. He was able to estimate the cost over the phone but mentioned that the cost could go up a little if there was not a separate water shut-off for the appliance I was removing. (I had a water fountain in my Laundry Room that the previous owner put in as a joke). Sure enough, no separate water shut-off and Noel needed to get some extra parts. There was an additional $40 charge. Noel did an exceptional job!! I will call him again.
