I had Lou from Drain-EEZ come out and repair broken frost-proof faucets that were leaking water into the building. Lou was thorough and provided all the solutions to our problems and did a good job retrofitting the existing plumbing to ensure if these faucets cracked again that they wouldn't leak into the building.  I would recommend and use them again.

Woke up to a cold shower. Took a look at the water heater and noticed water was coming out of the bottom. In the past we used another company (Chicago HVAC Doctor) who never called back (til 1.5 days later). Found Fastplumbing on Yelp. Amazing that within 1.5-2 hrs, they were at my door and got to work. Jimmy & Jay were great & very thorough. Within 6-8 hrs total time of the system breaking down, we had hot water again. Very impressed. 1 piece of constructive criticism would be to have the guys wear foot covers when coming into a home especially in the winter or wet weather. Floor was a mess afterwards. With that being said, we would use them again and would recommend to  friends & neighbors.

I couldn't recommend Rescue Plumbing more! They were helpful, honest, and incredibly kind. This business is a gem.

I needed to replace a garbage disposal and a couple connecting pipes under my sink in the kitchen.  Great experience with Scott across the board:  high quality, careful and very quick service (e.g., took probably only an hour all-in because Scott was efficient), competitive pricing, great responsiveness and easy communication via texts, flexible scheduling, efficient and accurate estimate with a breakdown of input costs, proper safety precautions during the pandemic (e.g., mask, social distancing), cleanliness (cleaning during and after the project being done).  Scott was a good professional when discussing repair options (e.g., he shared his professional opinion but wasn't pushing a particular solution) and very detail oriented (e.g., Scott even installed the new pipes so that they consume less space under the sink than before).

Highly recommended.  I will reach out to Scott for any plumbing issues going forward.

I had no cold water in my kitchen faucet.  Even though it was the second straight coldest day of the year in Chicago with many schools and businesses shut down, Brian graciously fielded all of my calls and gave me excellent direction and advice.  Fast forward to the next day and even though the cold water came back on Brian offered to stop by to check things out since he had another appointment on my block.  He checked a broken toilet, told me about a water filtration system, checked my hot water heater and even made sure my sump pump was in  good working order prior to his visit I did not even know I had a sump pump.  Very knowledgable about all things plumbing!

They are responsive, prompt, reliable, and thorough. I needed someone to look at a leak, and they called me back right away. They then set up an appointment for the next day, and they arrived when they said they were going to arrive. When looking for the source of the leak, David and his partner were thorough. They found the source within minutes. David was also very clear on what my next steps should be. They also did not charge me for their assessment.

Fantastic work from Team Windy City.  After spending 4 hours on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday with half a dozen trips to Home Depot to rent equipment (half of the things we brought back to the house were broken so it wasn't entirely our fault) we were at a loss on how to unclog our tub.  I called around Monday to make an appt for Tuesday and contacted someone other than Windy City to make the actual appt.  They called and said they wouldn't be at our house until 11:30 but right at 10am someone rang my door saying they were the plumber.  It was Jose's guys.

After explaining the situation at the door they said I could pay the same price now or at 11:30 if I wanted.  I agreed to have them take a look and from doorstep to fully repaired and cleaned up (the even sprayed and toweled up the mess in the tub) they were finished in 15 minutes.  He said I was paying for an hour so they helped me with some sink traps and gave recommendations.

Pro: Fast, efficient, almost psychic service with a smile and very helpful, also the cheapest of the places I quoted.

Con: Now my feet are cold when showering due to not sitting in 6 inches of water.

On time. Got done what I needed done fast and everything looks great. I will certainly be hiring them again for any plumbing needs that arise.

These people are over the top.  We have used them several times and have always had our expectations exceeded.  Will not use anyone else as long as they're around.   Hats off to Kevin for finding the best team members!

Was able to get out quickly at a time that worked for me to fix a problem that required specialized equipment.

While there price wasn't the cheapest it wasn't the steepest either.

Green Tech

I was asked to post this review on behalf of my husband ( he doesn't have a Yelp account)...
I am a mechanic by trade and usually prefer to do tackle DIY (do it yourself) projects on my own , but on occasion sometimes you have to swallow your pride and ask for help as was my situation last weekend. After installing an ADA Compliant Gerber toilet I was cleaning up our dated bathroom when I discovered that the vanity basin was draining slower & slower until it CEASED draining! I'm always hesitant to tackle plumbing projects in my house because the combination of cast iron and galvanized pipes in a 75 + year old home (time is a major factor) both in age as well as my patience.
Initially I thought that I had induced the problem by the work I had done , but it was merely a coincidence.
I have a manual hand cranking snake which also can be adapted to a cordless drill because this is a necessity in a older home especially where thinning hair is an issue.
As it turns out after dismantling the p-trap and draining the contents i.e.: soap, hair,sludge all over my floor which I had previously cleaned 10 minutes prior I was losing my patience, after rodding the suspected area I still had no success.

That is when I decided to call Green Tech .

-Kevin returned my call promptly and arranged for a technician to come the next day.

-Next day , Tim showed up 20 minutes early (a good trait) , I explained what I attempted to do and had prepped the area for him, another 20 minutes later my bathroom drain was working like new! His experience using a rodding snake allowed him to steer it in the correct path where the obstruction was cleared!
Since the job went so quick I asked him if he could repair a leaking copper elbow that was attached to my water heater?  -No problem! another issue resolved in record time!

Excellent service all around!! They responded immediately to my request for a quote, gave me a reasonable range, and then stuck to it. On top of that, they were the friendliest guys and they provided top notch service. They took care to be tidy and made sure everything was in working order before the left. Cannot recommend them enough.

Adam did amazing work!! Came extremely quick (same day we called with an emergency sink leak) and quickly resolved the problem. Even went out to get us a new faucet at Home Depot and was very communicative throughout the entire process!  Highly recommend Adam!

I requested a quote for a lamp bulb flickering issue.  Darrell called me very shortly after and we discussed the issue and potential solutions.  While he offered to make a service call, he also advised that this kind of issue may or may not be worth the service cost based on the value of the lamp.  He also provided some suggestions as to how I could try to address the problem itself.  In the end, I decided to try to resolve the problem myself since the service cost outweighed the lamp value.  However I appreciated Darrell's honesty and valuable consultation.  Will definitely contact him again for future problems.

Our sump pump failed at night and I reached out to ABV on Yelp and they responded even after hours to address my concern.  They came the next morning and changed my existing sump pump and even showed me exactly what was wrong with the first one.  Ivo was very friendly and helpful.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing service.

Lenny did a fantastic job disconnecting our old sink and faucet prior to the installation of new countertops (and saving us tons of trouble by anticipating a potential problem and fixing it) and then connecting a new sink and a new faucet afterwards, plus a new and larger garbage disposal. We went from two drains to one drain, and we thought the spawould be a bit tight, but Lenny rearranged everything beautifully. Top service, courteous, flexible and efficient. We also got extra help from Dimitry on the phone. Highly recommended.

Mike fixed our ancient tub faucet. He has lots of parts that fix old and new plumbing fixtures. Mike turned off the hot water, so he could determine that the hot water faucet was the faucet that needed repair. Mike has good detective skills. We will hire him again.

Juan is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He fixed the noisy running toilet and replace kitchen faucet for me. He can response quickly with quote based on pictures and videos, and take care of everything. Highly recommended!

We had used Noel previously and I was had another plumbing related question. I gave him a quick call and he offered a solution and a back up plan that ended up solving our problem.
