I hit a few snags (bad valves and lots of rusted hardware) while replacing my kitchen faucet after the head of the pull-out spray hose had broken off. I called Drain-EEZ, and they sent Lou.

By the time he was going back to his truck to get his metal grinder to cut out the remainder of the rusted hardware, of which, he'd removed more than half on his own and I'd managed to remove zero, I knew I made the right call bringing in a pro and not attempting to go further on my own.

Not only that, I made the right call in bringing in Drain-EEZ. Lou was super smart, worked fast, and was a pleasure to talk to as well. The price was great and the workmanship top notch. I'll definitely call them again when I'm in over my head.

These guys were great.  They arrived within 30 minutes of calling and replaced our water tank within an hour.  Great value, great service and very friendly.

Let's start this review by saying that I created this problem because I thought I could play plumber. I broke the pipe upon which my bath spout fits.

I live in a high rise and was very concerned that any leaking would enter neighboring units and put me on the hook for many thousands of dollars. I emailed rescue plumbing based on their reviews and I could not be happier.  The owner of the company called me with in 12 hours after I submitted the request late at night. He was willing to attempt giving me a quote over the phone with the obvious warning that things could change if the problem were something else.

His guys Pete and Paco showed up the next day, assessed the problem and got to work after reassuring me that everything was gonna be okay and that he could handle the job. They also patiently and kindly answered all of my million nervous questions. The walled me through the job told me exactly what they would do. As the plan changed a little bit, the updated me along the way.

Throughout all of this my building has a tendency to be very intolerant of contract work and as expected got very angry despite approval from my building engineer. Pete handled them like a champ. He talked on the phone with the engineer and handled our disgruntled security man with nothing but smiles, professionalism and class.

Even though the job was about $200 more than expected they told me this upfront and they were still hundredSSSSS of dollars cheaper than the guy I had assess the job before them. They were able to fix everything without removing tile and entering any other units or turning off water for my neighbors (which The Other Guys said they would need to).

Rescue plumbing all the way. If anything happens in the future I will not hesitate to call them and neither should you!

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

I was poking around in my house's basement with a flashlight and noticed a vent pipe was broken between the walls.  I called in 3 different plumbing companies for quotes.  Rocket Plumbings quote was extremely competitive and since they had previously done some work for us in our condo building, I went with them.  I'm really glad that I did.  They fit me in really quickly and on the day of work they were prompt and friendly.  I don't know much about plumbing but I can recognize attention to detail and when someone takes pride in the work they do.  Also, I didn't have access to the second floor because I had a tenant in there but they made sure that if/when the second floor needs work that it will be as easy as possible.  That will save me time and money!  They even cleaned up very nicely after they were done.  In summary, top notch work done at an extremely competitive price.  I definitely will be calling them again for my plumbing needs.

Dan Molina showed up on time.  We took some time to figure out where the leak was coming from. When he cut out a piece of pipe that a previous plumber put some putty on, the water was still leaking. We found that directly above that pipe was the actual leak. He fixed that one and another one near it. He did great work, and has a good attitude. A consummate professional. I would recommend him to anyone, and wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future.

Wow! I found Windy City yesterday on Yelp and called. The owner called me from his vacation in Mexico to make sure what I needed done and assured me it would be taken care of TODAY.
Robert came today and called me several times while doing the job on this rental unit. What a nice, courteous man.
I will use them again and have actually put them in my file as the plumbers to use on this building.
As far as I am concerned...JACKPOT! Customer service plus....

In late May First Chicago Plumbing replaced the faucets in two bathrooms and the kitchen and also replaced the diverter in the bathtub.  Eugene and the gentleman with him (I don't recall his name) were very professional and very nice.  Eugene took the time to explain everything to me and answered any questions I had, even after the job was completed.  Eugene even checked on our hot water heater and gave us an estimate to replace it when the time comes (which will likely be in the next few months!)  He will definitely be the person I call!!  I highly recommend First Chicago Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

Just want to give a shout out to Mitch and Neil for a great job installing a laundry for me. The company is very responsive and upfront with costs. They were also able to get out to me within 48 hours. They were on time and professional. Will use them again.

Very professional! Answered my estimate inquiry lickety-split and upfront with the price. I scheduled with him same day and he was very communicative with the timing and when he'd be here. Ultimately he was unable to complete the job because our drain clog was beyond the length of the hose he had (this has happened to us before though with another plumber - so no fault to him - our building's drain lines are apparently quite lengthy). Nevertheless he didn't even charge us. Great service!

We have had GT out a few times and they have always been amazing. Very transparent about the issue, pricing, etc. Definitely my first call when something goes wrong with my plumbing!

I've not had much luck with plumbers, until now. The sewer line was clogged   and soggy toilet paper started to back up into the basement. I searched on line for a plumber, and saw the great reviews for Midwest Hydro Jetting on Yelp. I called, spoke with Mike, and explained the problem. I  was hoping for a quick fix since I had family staying with me.  Of course he was familiar with this type of back up, and said it might be a day or so until someone could come out, but if the day's jobs were finished early, he would send someone. He also gave me a price range for the work that would probably be needed to be done, which was very reasonable.  Luckily the day's jobs ended early, and Dan arrived in the late afternoon. He knew exactly what to do, and power rodded the line until it ran clear. The cost was very reasonable and I was given a 30 day warranty.  Unfortunately, the line backed up again after a few weeks. Dan came back out, with Jose, and power rodded again, with a different head on the line. What came out of that line on the end of the rod head  was disgusting. He called it a 'mush ball', or something like that. It was a mass of toilet paper, wipes, and a small piece of plastic or cellophane, and had been about 75ft down the line. I previously instructed everyone to not dispose of wipes, flushable or otherwise, in the toilets. Of course it was group denial as to anyone doing so.  Anyway, the warranty was honored,    the line has stayed clear, and I have removed every package of wipes from the house that I could find. Besides being knowledgeable, professional, and very efficient, Dan is very personable too. Most people don't call a plumber until it's a dire necessity. They have the advantage, and some use that advantage to make more of the situation, and up the cost of repair.  This time it was a pleasure to finally find a company that did not do that. This old house will probably need a plumber again at sometime, and I would not hesitate to call them again if anything else 'comes up'.   I would highly recommend Midwest Hydro Jetting to anyone in need of great plumber services.

Borderline scam company, interested in selling high priced services not fixing customer's problems.
Paid $425 for a service call they could not resolve. They tried the $1500 upsale for jetting service which was not required.
The next day I called Willies Drain cleaners who properly worked the tree root issue and pulled 6 clumps of roots out of the drain.
Fixed the problem Captain Rooter wouldn't and for $225.00.
Beware!! Not a good service. I gave one star since ZERO is not available.
Use a regular drain cleaning service before ever calling this bad company.

Quick, efficient and friendly. Moved a ceiling light and gave helpful recommendations. Pricing was on par with all other quotes we received.

Hristo was great! He responded so quickly. He gave a competitive price. He even had to go to his store and come back for a specific part to fix our weird sink problem. He also wore a mask and booties the whole time. Will definitely use ABV plumbing in the future!

Great service, quality and price! We had an emergency sewer back up and needed to replace 8ft of cracked clay pipe. Called CJ Plumbing late on Tuesday, the week of Thanksgiving,  and he had Tylers Underground come out the next morning and replace everything for a great price. He checked in throughout the day to make sure things were going well and I was happy. Then on top of all of that he had a plumber come out within 15 minutes to help us with a completely separate issue. Highly recommend CJ Plumbing.

I had a rocky toilet that was supposedly fixed by Chicagoland Handyman in June of 2022, but five months later the rocking was back. I searched for a plumber to fix this unsteady toilet once and for all. I called Mike the Plumber. He was able to come out the next day and was able to to stabilize my toilet. Mike the Plumber was very nice as he explained what the problem was and what he was going to do to fix it. He said if the rocking comes back (which it won't) he will tend to it. I will definitely call Mike the Plumber for any future plumbing issues in my old building. Thank you Mike!

As you can about imagine, I'm not interested in fussing with maintenance people.  I like them to respond to a call, assess the situation, and fix it in a timely and (hopefully) a cost-friendly manner.  Noel did just that.  

He answered the phone the first time I called and was able to stop by my condo that same day!  He had one look at the food disposal line break under my sink and knew exactly what to do.  He walked out to his truck, grabbed a few things, and fixed everything in less than an hour.  Not only did he fix the pipe break, he helped me understand how why and how it happened--poor (not so) handywork and piping used by the plumber before him.  

Five Plumbing was so good, I immediately recommended them to my friend who had an issue about a month later.  She got the exact same response and service for a completely different kind of plumbing need.  Two for two in my book means a five star rating.  Call Noel next time you have a plumbing need!
