Based on Yelp reviews I called Drain-EEZ regarding a drain leak in my 2 flat apartment building.  I knew I had a pretty big problem because I had attempted to do a patch repair a couple years prior rather than doing a replacement which I knew would be necessary.  Pat and his brother came out almost immediately on a Saturday and quickly diagnosed the problem.  They gave me an estimate to repair and did all of the work the next day.  They came in under budget and ended up charging me less than the original estimate.

It has been a couple weeks and everything looks like it is holding up.  I would definitely use Drain-EEz again if I have any future issues.

We were extremely impressed with our services with Mac! Our dated water heater pilot light kept going off and Mac was able to walk me through the steps to help me fix it over the phone. The water heater is 13 years old and therefore needs to be replaced soon. We are hiring Mac to install the new one and will definitely be hiring him for any future repairs and maintenance. We appreciate your patience, Mac, and for not charging us unnecessary service fees. You've gained my trust and I highly recommend you and your company.

I had Scott come by for a garbage disposal clog - I sent over a picture of the area, and based on that, he showed up prepared with a whole new garbage disposal for me, and installed it!! The clogged one was quite old and the trap needed replaced. He did it all, and was super quick and it was affordable, + told me things to consider in the future / other things that may need replaced / etc.

We returned from being away for Christmas to come home to a frozen hot water pipe in our kitchen. I reached out to Rocket Plumbing via the yelp quote/messenger. I was able to chat to the owner and I believe it was on New Year's Eve! He was able to get me on the schedule on standby for 11am. Well, Danny showed up right at 11am! He was great and explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. Thankfully the water line thawed quickly (some can take longer he said). He even spoke to my husband on speaker phone to explain what happened. I asked a question about water pressure in our master shower and he even suggested a brand of shower head to buy.
Danny and Brian (the owner) were both great to work with and we will definitely use Rocket Plumbing for any future needs. I already recommended them to our friends!

Thanks fellow Yelpers! This one is a keeper. I needed help quick to resolve a backflow problem in the basement. David, Dan and another guy ( sorry I didn't get his name) came right on time as scheduled and started up their magic to analyze and resolve the immediate problem and identified what will continue with the city. At least I know what's going on and feel educated enough from my crash course w/ these guys to talk to the city. They explained and answered all our questions. I'm happy now, lol.

This company is by far the most professional i have encountered! Their crew were diligent, timely and efficient. I had a huge problem and they attended to it and saw us through what could of been a long waitful nightmare. I am very grateful for their special attention in my situation. And with all that i can say they were fair in their pricing. I cant say enough about this business. I just hope they are around for what ever i encounter in the future. I had Eugene come out an install an ice line for my fridge. I had incorrectly informed the team when they were quoting the job that the valve needed to connect the line was there. When Eugene came out he saw that he needed to go out a buy the piece I needed to get the job done correctly. He worked with integrity and I wasn't charged extra for his time buying the necessary part due my error. I felt their prices were reasonable, plumbing is never cheap, but I felt the price was fair. I would definitely recommend Eugene and First Chicago Plumbing.

Just want to give a shout out to Mitch and Neil for a great job installing a laundry for me. The company is very responsive and upfront with costs. They were also able to get out to me within 48 hours. They were on time and professional. Will use them again.

Very professional! Answered my estimate inquiry lickety-split and upfront with the price. I scheduled with him same day and he was very communicative with the timing and when he'd be here. Ultimately he was unable to complete the job because our drain clog was beyond the length of the hose he had (this has happened to us before though with another plumber - so no fault to him - our building's drain lines are apparently quite lengthy). Nevertheless he didn't even charge us. Great service!

I had a totally clogged kitchen sink. We tried everything to fix it ourselves and nothing worked. Due to previous experiences I was reluctant to call a professional but we had no choice.
I researched for a long time and based on a large number of great reviews I decided to contact Green Tech. I am so glad I did. Kevin responded quickly, asked a few questions and we scheduled an appointment. Dan arrived to perform the work. He was very courteous and professional. He was informative and did an excellent job.
I can't recommend Green Tech enough. The positive experience I had will help me not procrastinate the next time we have an issue. Thank you Kevin and Dan.

I have to give a detailed review because my experience was absolutely amazing. If you don't want to read the full review but want to know a short version: I HIGHLY recommend MHJSS, not just recommend but HIGHLY!

ok, so here is the fine print:
I've been smelling a sewage smell on my 1st floor, coming from my bathroom for the last few years. It comes and goes and when it goes it leaves long enough for me to forget about it. Just recently it came back and is stronger than ever, so much so that I can smell it moving throughout my home. I have a family plumber I've been using since the '90s and I'm big on small business so as usual I called and got my home rodded. Since purchasing my home in 2014 I get an annual rodding done since I can't watch what my company and children flush down the drain.

Wanting to get a 2nd opinion I googled and came up with Mr. Rooter, sent a message on their website, and set up a date and time for them to come to consult. I took off work since they told me it was a window from 12-3 pm. To make a long story short, I work overnight and was asleep when they called me at 8 am the day of to tell me they would arrive at 12. Since I missed the called they canceled my appointment. I was upset when I woke up at 11 am to get this voicemail. I took to google again, I had no patience nor desire to deal with this (Plus they told me since I lived on the south side I needed to pay $90 extra for the plumber to come south).

Google lead me to MHJSS. I read reviews and called. I can't remember who I spoke with but the guy was professional and gave me confidence that I'd found the right company.

About an hour later, Danny called me to say he was on his way. (Quick appointment, same day, no BS). He arrived on time with his partner Jose. They asked the perfect questions and before I could explain everything, they knew what needed to be done and starting accessing. Danny took his time and explained EVERYTHING so that I could understand all about my plumbing issues. He showed me things I didn't expect to see since my family plumber does frequent work at my home. I was able to get a Hydro Jetting and he immediately told me why we could smell the sewage in the house.

Being a novice to this entire industry, Danny and Jose made sure I knew what was going on, why, and how it can be fixed. They took their time, did things correctly, cleaned up behind themselves, and did so in a professional and safe manner. They worked great as a team and even better as plumbers. I felt like I'd know them personally before today since they were so personable. I wasn't rushed, I wasn't pitched a sales pitch, and I was comfortable with them in my home.

Bigger name companies need to take notes from these guys. I hope nothing about their process changes because from now on I will be using MHJSS for all my plumbing needs and will continue to refer them to everyone I know, as a matter of fact, my neighbor will be using them soon for his multiunit apartment building (I gave him MHJSS phone number, LOL).

I dropped an earring down the drain.  Not worth a lot, but very sentimental.  I submitted an inquiry through Yelp and 4 out of the 5 companies got back to me right away.  (The one who didn't respond until much later had a very rude woman handling the phone. Good luck if you happen upon them). Extremely impressed with all of the others, but I went with the first one which was Captain Rooter.

Captain Rooter asked all of the right questions and gave an approx quote.  The process was surprisingly fast.   They were out the next morning and found the earring in approx 15 minutes.

I was extremely happy with the experience.  I contacted the manager/owner later in the day to let them know how happy I was with them and he was so kind in thanking me for the feedback.

Will definitely connect again if I need assistance.

Monday morning I sent messages to a few electricians re: replacing light fixtures in our house. Within 10 minutes, I got a message from Darrell about the service call. He called me to get details about the issues, and was ready to buy the lights (instead of me going out to purchase them) and install them the same day. I wasn't available so he said he'd come the next day. He confirmed with me the next morning and visited a few Home Depots to find the fixtures we wanted. He then arrived early, was very professional and polite, and completed the job without any delays. He cleaned up the areas in which he worked, and removed his tools without any disruption.

The lights look great and the rate was reasonable. The work was fast and professional. We'll be calling them again for a rewiring estimate/job. I would definitely recommend Sims and Sons Electric and Plumbing!

Our kitchen sink got clogged again I called Chris my go to person. He is able to schedule me within 2 days not right away but no big deal we just need to figure out how to function with clogged sink. Ivo his associates came and tried everything but without a success. Recommend to replace the pipes (just the kitchen). I agreed and able to schedule it the following day. Ivo ( not sure if I  spelled his name correctly) did a wonderful job. I felt sorry for him because of the time and effort he made. Our pipes are fully clogged with you don't want to know,
it's completely blocked. Very nice person. I am just hoping that I will not see him again for good reason. Anybody who has plumbing issues please call them... Thanks a lot Ivo....

Working with CJ plumbing was great. Dmitri was very responsive for setting up an appointment and helped me pick appropriate parts.

Lenny came out to our place to install new fixtures in a shower. He showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Altogether a great, professional company.

We love Mike The Plumber and highly recommend him.  He just assisted us with two small plumbing problems at our new house in Rogers Park.  He was so pleasant to work with, fixed the issues quickly, fixed a few other issues in the process, recommended some changes, and was so reasonable in his price.   He also loves dogs, and took time to pet and play with our two pups in the back yard.  Mike is now our go to plumber, and I suspect our pups will be trying to clog our pipes so that Mike gets a call to come back.

Juan is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He fixed the noisy running toilet and replace kitchen faucet for me. He can response quickly with quote based on pictures and videos, and take care of everything. Highly recommended!

We have used Noel twice in the last year and if we need a plumber again, I wouldn't even look elsewhere. He is the real deal.

He asked us a lot of questions up front each time, requested pictures, and then when he showed up to do the work, he had the parts he needed already- super efficient. Price was the price he quoted up front so no surprises there.

Nice guy, hardworking, and really seems to know his stuff (he gave some tips and advice to me as he was working on our issues).
