Pat has come to my house twice- first to install an outdoor spigot and secondly to fix a toilet. Both times he was easy to get a hold of, prompt, punctual and quick to finish the project. Would 100% recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable plumber!

Really fantastic service. Had Drain overflow issue & water heater leak all-in-one night...called Mac & within a few minutes had him scheduled to come by first thing the next morning. Talks you through every step if that's what you prefer & did a great job from start to finish! He followed-up and recommended steps to ensure proper flow in the future. The price was fair and in-line with what you would expect to pay for this service. Will use again!

Dex saved the day AGAIN! We have called on Rescue Plumbing and Dex many, many times now, and he will always be my go to. He fixed frozen pipes over the holidays, routed the sewer, undertook major sewer repair work in a very fast turnaround, and has cleared drain backups. We have done both small and large plumbing projects with him, and he is always responsive, fast, and more than fair in pricing. We have scheduled same day service with them multiple times and could not be happier with their reliability, responsiveness, and workmanship. Absolutely recommend Dex and the team at Rescue Plumbing!

Scotty did an outstanding job. He was very easy to communicate with when it came time to schedule the visit. He was prepared and he was on time (in fact he was even early for the follow up visit). He did a good job and explained things very clearly. The prices were very fair and more clearly communicated than other local plumbers we spoke with for our sink issue.
All and all, no complaints, would highly recommend him.

Our kitchen faucet sprung a leak the week of Thanksgiving, and after my husband spent five hours trying to fix it himself, we both decided to call in a plumber. I looked on Yelp because of the trusted reviews. Brian of Rocket Plumbing is hands down the best plumber we have worked with and would highly recommend his work.
We called on a Saturday afternoon at 4:30p and he committed to coming first thing on Monday morning. He was exactly on time, came in to assess the issue, and gave me three options for a new faucet. He was fair about the price and the installation costs. He said he could get our model at his suppliers outlet, and he offered to run over there to pick up the faucet himself. He called me from the supplier's and told me what models were available, discussed styles, and gave me the price. He was gone less then an hour, and returned with a higher quality model then we had picked up at Lowes. He installed it within about 30 minutes and the entire job was done in two hours, including the errand he ran to pick up the faucet.
Brian was very professional and friendly. He gave me options, discussed styles and quality of models, and gave me a fair price. While it was an expense, I do not feel he overcharged me. By the time he was done, I would've given him a tip! That's how much I appreciated his trusted service.
I had him give me 5 business cards and I will gladly pass them along to my friends and neighbors. SO GLAD to have found Brian with Rocket Plumbing!

We had them come out for hydro-jetting. We have the 1st floor condo in a 3 unit building. The 2 units upstairs have garbage disposals which lead to lots of food buildup in the pipes. We had backup into our kitchen sink (all the smelly food particles sitting in the pipes). I called Chicago Sewer and Drain at 6pm and they came out the next day at 11:30. They jetted out the pipes and had the sink working again. He was also helpful in providing suggestions for how to clean the pipes more regularly so they don't have to come back to hydro jet again. If only the upstairs units would get rid of their garbage disposals...

We just finished up a pretty major plumbing and repair job that included replacing the main sanitary pipe that connects to village. We had the same work attempted several years ago but job was done poorly and water started leaking in through wall every time it rained. The job was done correctly this time and included an outstanding patch and plug through foundation wall. Communication and responsiveness was excellent throughout the entire process and everyone involved in the job was extremely professional, friendly and courteous. I couldn't recommend Windy City Plumbing more if I tried!

Fast response, quick estimates. They arrived on time, workers masked up, worked quickly and respected our property. They carefully wrapped our furnace and water heater and cleaned up before they left. I was very pleased with the quality of their work .
Highly recommended.
Highly recommended.

Kevin fix my clogged bathtub and was wonderful! He was flexible with my schedule, called to check in before he arrived and showed up right on time. He even checked the rest of the plumbing in my bathroom and tightened/fixed a few things that needed adjustment. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Kevin!

Fixing my friends shower diverter valve and could not get the but off using shower socket tools. This was at 10pm on Saturday. Who answer he phone so late to tell me what I need and what to do in the mean time until they can come and fix it.
Looked up plumber and found this to have the most reviews thanks to Yelp. They must doing something right.
Called them up and texted them a picture. Within minutes they got back to me told me the price and what kind of system I had.
Straight up and gave me the name of the unit with the price of the part which we only $5 to $10 more than online price. For a business that understands the customer that can go elsewhere, they believe in informing the customer and letting them make the choice.
Overall, it's hard to find an honest plumber that informs the customer and let them make a choice. Will definitely be calling them again. Not just for my property at Chicago/rosemont but other properties that I maintain. Thank you.

Contacted Midwest Hydro Jetting for advice, after hiring another company whose hydro jetting machine was underpowered, and unable to clear a blockage in my sewer line. This company recommended that I spend several thousand dollars to install a clean out, which I realised may or may not solve the problem, given that the location of the blockage was towards the back of the building. Midwest recommended trying to rod out the line first, before resorting to having them hydro jet, or install a clean out I appreciated all the advice, and how they were trying to save me unnecessary additional expense.

UPDATED 8/26:
The owner of this company, Jesse, called me to apologize on behalf of the contractor who charged me for not doing anything. He confirmed that the initial consult from Captain Rooter IS free, and promised to issue a refund. Removing one star due to the earlier experience, but adding three to my overall rating because it meant a lot to me to get that call. If I end up using their services for another project that goes well, I'll update this again to reflect that.
PREVIOUS REVIEW:
I've never left a bad Yelp review (it's true, check my profile), but I want to warn people because I hate contractors that do this (and Captain Rooter said on the phone that they were different). I woke up to a very loud persistent jackhammer type sound coming from the bathroom around 4AM. It eventually stopped an hour or so later, but it was alarming enough that I called Captain Rooter's 24/7 line during the chaos and booked a 9:30AM consult, which I was told was free.
The guy arrived this morning, and looked into the toilet tank (I had removed the lid already). He then diagnosed it as trapped air in the pipes and said there wasn't really anything to do. He said if it happens again, it's a whole building problem and I should contact building management. He then said I owed him $125 for coming out, but if I had $50 in cash he would take that instead to save me some $$. I don't have cash on me, and said I didn't think there was a charge. He said he would call the company and I could Zelle them. The lady on the phone was like, Yep, there's a $185 service fee, here's where to send the payment -- when I corrected her and said that the plumber had said $125 she went, Oops, yes, it's a $125 service fee if he touched anything. At this point, I have been on the phone paying longer than the plumber looked at anything.
I paid, he left. But I feel really taken advantage of. Being a solo female homeowner is a privilege, but it also sucks, because contractors see you as just someone to charge $125 for two minutes of no work for during a free consult.

Very responsive - did a great job on a clogged downspout and tub drain. This is the 3rd time I've called them - consistent good service.

Completely recommend ABV Plumbing! Very reasonably priced, extremely prompt to reply and flexible scheduling. I had a toilet job at my condo that when ABV came out determined the water shutoff valve was rusted so I needed to reschedule service after working with the association to shut off the water. They were flexible with the changes and also made other recommendations they noticed were wrong with the toilet. Very thorough in every aspect. I'll definitely use ABV again!

He responded quickly came out the next day knew actually what the problem was. Also he was mask ready and I have no shoe policy in my home and I didn't have to tell him anything he came with the footies on. Definitely recommend him!

Pretty awesome experience. I called yesterday to get a quote for replacing a garbage disposal that quit working. Since it was so old, I wanted to replace it rather than repair it. Noel asked me to send pictures of the existing disposal and when he received them he communicated that there might be an issue. We agreed that he'd come out and take a look at either replacing it or repairing the existing disposal if the issue really was a problem. Surprisingly, he was able to schedule me for today which is less than 24-hours from when I called him. This was no emergency but I really appreciated that he was so responsive. He quoted a time to arrive and kept me posted on his progress within the time range quoted. He took a look at my disposal and was able to replace it and without a problem. Two things I want to share. First, Noel was professional. He was quite fast and very thorough. He made sure to test the unit and showed me a couple of things that I might need to watch out for with my existing pipes. Second, his prices are incredibly competitive and more than fair. All good here and I'll call him again if I need a solid plumber.
