We have used Drain-EEZ twice. They are honest, arrive prepared and while they are not the most cost effective option they are reliable and can be flexible with your schedule.

Mac was great!  He responded to my call within an hour and was out to assess the problem right away.  In our case we needed a new water heater (ours was old and moldy), and he was able to replace it and retrofit the piping within a day.  Would definitely use again.

I recommend Rescue Plumbing! They were able to come that morning I called, and Javier was great at assessing the issue, explaining what needed to be done - all in a timely manner. Javier was a great help in an emergency situation.

Only con is that Rescue Plumbing was a bit pricey, but I also did collect many quotes due to the urgency of the issue.

They were respectful and did a great job fory Granny. I'll call you guys anytime.

I had a variety of plumbing issues on a condo I purchased. Scott was great, he was quickly able to diagnose the problems. After he knew what components were needed, he quickly ran to the local hardware store, came back with what he needed. He was thorough in addressing the problems and didn't leave until he was satisfied things were working properly. I highly recommend him, and will absolutely use him for any future issues.

Brian and his assistant came to our condo building the day after the new year to fix an emergency situation. They showed up on time, dedicated the entire day to our need, and were very kind and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate having them come out again or reccomending then.

I was having an issue with the drain in my utility room. I called Chicago Sewer And Drain and they came out in a very timely manner David. and his partner Listened to what I thought the problem was. They looked at the situation and made the proper suggestions to me. David  told me the fee up  front. They went to work on the problem. I like the way they worked as a team helping each other along the way. The job was completed with efficiency always  keeping me informed along the way. I would highly recommend them. Excellent customer service.!

I hired WCP to replace the tanks on two toilets in my condo and they were a great company to work with. Jose was great during the quote/booking process and his team was very polite, friendly, and efficient.  No issues.  The repairs ended up taking a lot less time than expected and Jose reduced my labor cost without me needing to ask, which I appreciated.  I would def us them again.

These guys were hands down amazing.

Long story short, I am in the middle of doing a kitchen renovation and am trying to do most the work myself. When we first experienced plumbing issues in our kitchen sink. I sent over some pictures to see what it would cost to fix and what the problem might be. First Chicago Plumbing not only responded quickly, but was able to give me a quote right then. They also did a great job at educating me what was wrong and giving me different approached to solve the problem.

I would DEFINITELY recommend. I know I will be using these guys for any and all plumbing needs moving forward.

Kevin was super responsive! He called to ask me if I minded movings things around since he had an emergency issue come up but was very respectful if I couldn't move things around. He called to let me know when he was on his way and he came, fixed our toilet and was out in 30 minutes. Happy to find someone I can trust and will definitely pass his name on to other homeowners!

Great company: responsive, expert, strong problem solving, excellent equipment. In this case, Jesus hydrojetted my sewer line and there were so many roots that it took him several hours. He also fixed a shower handle and advised on several other questions. After all that, he still only charged me his basic quote. Good people!

Kevin and his team at Green Tech Plumbing are fast and efficient and honest with their service and their pricing. They are highly skilled plumbers that are responsive and can usually come out quickly if you have an issue. We were very impressed with the work that they did in our home and highly recommend using them for all your plumbing work. Their pricing is fair and they are overall very good.

I have to give a detailed review because my experience was absolutely amazing. If you don't want to read the full review but want to know a short version: I HIGHLY recommend MHJSS, not just recommend but HIGHLY!

ok, so here is the fine print:
I've been smelling a sewage smell on my 1st floor, coming from my bathroom for the last few years. It comes and goes and when it goes it leaves long enough for me to forget about it. Just recently it came back and is stronger than ever, so much so that I can smell it moving throughout my home. I have a family plumber I've been using since the '90s and I'm big on small business so as usual I called and got my home rodded. Since purchasing my home in 2014 I get an annual rodding done since I can't watch what my company and children flush down the drain.

Wanting to get a 2nd opinion I googled and came up with Mr. Rooter, sent a message on their website, and set up a date and time for them to come to consult. I took off work since they told me it was a window from 12-3 pm. To make a long story short, I work overnight and was asleep when they called me at 8 am the day of to tell me they would arrive at 12. Since I missed the called they canceled my appointment. I was upset when I woke up at 11 am to get this voicemail. I took to google again, I had no patience nor desire to deal with this (Plus they told me since I lived on the south side I needed to pay $90 extra for the plumber to come south).

Google lead me to MHJSS. I read reviews and called. I can't remember who I spoke with but the guy was professional and gave me confidence that I'd found the right company.

About an hour later, Danny called me to say he was on his way. (Quick appointment, same day, no BS). He arrived on time with his partner Jose. They asked the perfect questions and before I could explain everything, they knew what needed to be done and starting accessing. Danny took his time and explained EVERYTHING so that I could understand all about my plumbing issues. He showed me things I didn't expect to see since my family plumber does frequent work at my home. I was able to get a Hydro Jetting and he immediately told me why we could smell the sewage in the house.

Being a novice to this entire industry, Danny and Jose made sure I knew what was going on, why, and how it can be fixed. They took their time, did things correctly, cleaned up behind themselves, and did so in a professional and safe manner. They worked great as a team and even better as plumbers. I felt like I'd know them personally before today since they were so personable. I wasn't rushed, I wasn't pitched a sales pitch, and I was comfortable with them in my home.

Bigger name companies need to take notes from these guys. I hope nothing about their process changes because from now on I will be using MHJSS for all my plumbing needs and will continue to refer them to everyone I know, as a matter of fact, my neighbor will be using them soon for his multiunit apartment building (I gave him MHJSS phone number, LOL).

I contacted this company based on there reviews because my basin was full and not flowing to ejector pump.  Bob arrived assessed the problem then rodded the line, water started to flow. However 4 days later, water returned in basement. Open cap, full again.  Called company back Dan was sent out.  Dan rodded from front clean out, ejector pump, water flows out.  Now today, March 29 the pump is FULL NOT FLOWING TO EJECTOR PUMP. So, we are again with high water in tank, not flowing, minimal usage of water.  How many plumbers does it take to resolve this issue in a 1200 square foot home,  with 2 bathrooms and 4 occupants?  I am extremely frustrated.  

As a result, we are looking for another company to investigate the root cause of these plumbing issues.

High in Water

After Jesse visiting my home again with no additional charge, I am changing my rating.  The only problem at this point is why 3 different plumbers needed to visit my home.

My husband and I found this company on Yelp after an unexpected power outage in our master bedroom. We were very impressed that Darrel answered the phone at midnight on a weekend and came over himself the following morning. He was able to take care of the issue quickly and explain why it had happened in a way a lay person could understand.

We unfortunately had a similar outage a few weeks later in the same room (unrelated- lucky us!). We texted Darrel and he immediately responded to help diagnose the issue via text. He got us set up with a service call the next day from Enis. Darrel knew all the right questions to ask was able to narrow down the issue via some pictures. Enis then came over and replaced our outside GFCI outlet which had gotten moisture into it. During both service calls the men wore booties and masks and were polite and informative. We obviously weren't thrilled these issues occurred back to back, but felt very comfortable that Darrel and his team were trustworthy and extremely competent. We also appreciated the follow up call from Darrel to make sure we were completely satisfied with our service.

We would be happy to recommend their service and would definitely use them again in the future for any other electrical needs!

I can't say enough about the service I received from ABV!  My hot water heater went out - other plumbers were giving me dates a week or more away!  Not sure how we would have showered - it's 10° outside and I think our water was even colder!  Talked with them last night and they were out here by 8:30am!  Did great work and I am looking forward to a nice hot shower

Working with CJ plumbing was great. Dmitri was very responsive for setting up an appointment and helped me pick appropriate parts.

Lenny came out to our place to install new fixtures in a shower. He showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. Altogether a great, professional company.

I am very happy that I called Mike the Plumber! I had a clogged bathtub, and Mike fixed my bathtub problem quickly with same-day service.  I moved into my vintage condo recently, and Mike answered my questions and explained how the plumbing in my older unit works.  He is coming back to fix a radiator next week. Mike is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly and takes a lot of care in his work. I highly recommend Mike and will hire him again!

Noel was able to come within the hour of my calling him and was able to fix the problem with our leaking hot water heater.  He is very knowledgable and charged exactly what he quoted.  It is so refreshing to work with some one so professional, responsive and speedy!
