Lou with Drain-EEZ is fantastic.  In addition, the staff with whom I spoke with to set the appointment were also wonderful, helpful, and put me as ease.  As new condo owner I really didn't know where to begin in terms of finding a plumber.  I ended up reading a ton of reviews and settled on Drain-EEZ.  The receptionist assured me that Lou knew what he was doing and that he would do a very good job walking me through any issues.  We ended up needing our toilet reset and Lou was great!  I'm glad that I now can check mark having a go to plumber off my list.  Thanks, Lou!

Imagine, if you will, a terrifying scenario fraught with tension and angst. You're about to embark on a trip, it's mere hours before your flight, and what do you discover your 17 year old water heater decides to end it's life. Weeping water springs from the seams,  puddling on the floor around it.  Imagine,  with just a phone call and some texted photos your worries disappear. That's exactly what happened when I called Mac and 24 hour.  He answered the call responded in a timely manner, pleasant, concerned and aware of your situation. Almost as if he has done it a million times previously. With less than 12 hours we arranged a time, he and his crew arrived as promised, attacked the problem with knowledge and efficiency and with mere minutes to spare I had a new hot water heater and still made it to Ohare in time for a noon flight. I cannot say enough nice things about Mac and Jeremiah. Installed a quality Rheem and now I don't have to worry for at least another 10-12 years. Didn't mind me hanging around asking questions and easy conversation about a future project. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody in the future.

Scheduled appointment within a day to check 3 issues. Javier came and correctly diagnosed and fixed kitchen sink clog quickly and effectively. Gave suggestions to improve water heating time - definitely improved. Also quickly fixed toilet while here. So far it looks like everything is all working as new!

They were respectful and did a great job fory Granny. I'll call you guys anytime.

I give them high marks for being thorough, very responsive, had a competitive quote, and I really appreciate the window they promised to arrive in was a 30-minute window, where most plumbers gave a 2-hour window.

We've had Windy City Plumbing come to our place maybe 3-4 times now to fix problems or install items. Every time has been a positive experience. When we had some minor problems that were actually pretty easy to fix they still took the time to explain the reason and give advice of how to prevent it in the future. Very helpful!

Sound plumbing does great work. We've had Mitch over to the house for several different jobs and he is excellent. He's straight forward and explains everything. Terrific experience.

I had to use them a second time for something and they were really good, able to come out quickly and very customer friendly, all the while explaining exactly what needed to be done.  I won't hesitate to use them again at all.

Kevin was courteous in answering my questions about a possible pipe issue, and walked me through steps to help address it over the phone. Kyle came over within 20 minutes, and was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely call them again in the future with any issues.

Ridiculously fantastic.
So, we live in an old bungalow. We purchased a new range for our kitchen - it was delivered, and beautiful, and basically sat in the middle of the room - ok, I may be exaggerating a bit - but it did stick out a good 4 from the wall. The gas pipe coming up through the floor was to blame. Ugh. We called our usual plumber, they took a week to come out to tell us it would be super expensive, they would have to come back a week later to do it, it would take all day, and they would have to go through the exterior bricks of the house.

I felt like this seemed off. After a quick yelp search, I found Captain Rooter, a phone call, a knock on our door the next morning, an estimate of LESS THAN HALF and the job DONE in less than two hours - gas pipe moved over, no disruption to exterior bricks, and oven range in place snug against the wall. So happy.

Darrell from Sims and Son's was amazing, I would highly recommend. I called on Friday afternoon for an emergency call, he communicated what emergency call pricing and regular pricing. Being very clear on the process. and what to expect. When they couldn't come Friday, they went out of their way to come on Saturday, which they don't typically do. They were professional, efficient and went out their way to explain the issue and go out of their way to make the experience a 5 star one. Would highly highly recommend!

I recently purchase a new toilet. Although, I have installed dozens of toilets in my lifetime, I recently met my match, with this new purchase. It was heavier than most other models and the bolt holes are hidden from view.  I called ABV plumbing after several attempts at installing it myself. My level of frustration, prior to calling, was off the charts.

The gentlemen from ABV was able to come out within hours.  He took a look at the toilet and my current plumbing. He then immediately went to work. He was courteous and was vigilant about any covid concerns. He even donned protective shoe covers.

He needed to sweat some copper fittings and add a new valve. This was done in under 10 minutes. He then prepared the toilet for install. His associate came and together they lifted the 118 pound toilet onto the bolts in one shot. I would have been jealous if not for the fact that I was so relieved to see this done so swiftly.

The toilet and surrounding area were then wiped clean. I took 59 minutes from start to finish. This would be impressive for even the simplest toilet installs.

I found ABV by using Yelp. I seriously expected him to say the job was too difficult. I am very happy to say I am wrong.

Super thrilled with this service! Lenny was fabulous, super quick, and effective at diagnosing and treating all of the complicated issues with our ~80 year old bathroom toilet, sink, and tub. He knew just what to do to make things work smoothly again. I also appreciated that he was very careful with covid precautions (mask, booties) and respectful throughout. I would absolutely rehire for any future plumbing needs. An easy 5 stars from me!

I found Juan originally for help on a toilet leak, and now he's my go-to plumber. He's amazing at explaining exactly what's going on, has a patient demeanor, and is extremely professional. I trust him on all his diagnoses and fixes. Our home is in great shape thanks to him!

I am so excited to finally have a plumber I trust in Chicago. I was having drainage issues in a bathroom: toilet flushed fine, but the other pipes in the bathroom were gurgling every time I flushed. And there was an awful sewer smell coming in. After researching on my own, it appeared there could be a major issue with the plumbing vents. I called a few places who were going to charge 300+ to come out and look at it. After calling Noel, he immediately asked: how often do you use the shower in there? I said never. He said the u pipe under the shower drain likely dried out which was why the water swishing sound was happening in the drain. He had me run the shower for 30 seconds. It was a miracle - that simple suggestion fixed it! No more smell, no more gurgling. He also took time over the phone to explain the plumbing setup to me (I like learning these things). I am happy i finally gotta guy for my future plumbing issues in Chicago as Noel was a good samaritan today and fixed a problem over the phone others were going to charge out the ass for. Thanks Noel! I'll be sending you as much other business as I can.
