Pat came out to my apartment when my drains clogged.  He had a flat rate to clear my clog: $175/tub and $175/sink.  He ended up charged me $300 to clear my tub and sink and  changed my sink pipes on his own, which was very nice.  The work was quickly and well done.   Pat is knowledgable and responsive.

These guys are AWESOME. I just bought my first place, and I walked in the door to hear a moisture sensor going off and water collecting around the water heater. In a panic I called up everyone I know who might have a plumber referral, and the first name I got was Fastplumbing247. Mac picked up right away and talked me through shutting off the hot water. He was over to diagnose the problem within an hour, and he and Jeremiah had changed out the water heater and installed a new one within 3 hours. Very clearly explained everything to me, and very fairly priced. Fantastic experience!!!

Pete showed up ready to get the job done. He was professional and knew how to get the job done right and didn't cut any corners. By the book and brought calm to a crazy situation. Yes emergency work does cost an arm and a leg but what choice do you have. If you are going to call anyone this is the one to keep on hand for any future situations.

So I have used Rocket Plumber a few times over the last few years now. The first couple of times everything was great (needed to replace my sump and ejector pumps at separate times). Was happy with the service. Hence the 2 stars vs 1 star. The last two times have left me looking elsewhere.

The first of these was last year, we needed to use their emergency services for a clogged pipe that was backing up into our sinks, causing our sump to almost fill. We agreed to the emergency cost since it was evening. That's fine, we knew it was coming. But the guy who came out quite rude and made it feel like we were inconveniencing him for coming out in the evening. I chalked it up to a bad day.

The final time was this week. Our water heater went out over the weekend, so I called first thing Monday morning to get an appointment (had to leave a message on a voice mail box that was non-descript and didn't say anything about Rocket Plumbing, so wasn't sure if anyone would even respond). But an hour later, someone called and I walked them through the issue. She requested I take pics of the heater and email it over so they can review and give an estimate/time). By the end of the day, I had not heard back, so I emailed again to check in. Still no response to this day (Wednesday). In the meantime, I called another company that Monday evening who came out within 25 minutes, gave an estimate and had the water heater replaced the next day.

After this last incident, I'm done with Rocket. It had nothing to do with cost (I didn't even get other estimates). Its a service issue and I won't recommend them after this point.

Thomas and Tuffy were WONDERFUL!! We have an old house that had lots of roots in the drain and they worked and got all of them out! We can now wash clothes and wash dishes, thank you for that! Would call you guys in a minute for whatever problem we have!

Very happy with the service we got from this company. After getting bad service from another company we were completely satisfied with Windy City Plumbing. They came when the promised they would, explained the issue and the fix needed, and did the work at a competitive rate. We will definitely use them again.

We had a persistent sewer gas issue in our house for a long period over the winter. It was an awful experience that leaked raw sewer smells into the basement, which was subsequently vented into the whole house through the central air system. We were unable to escape outside due to covid and cold, and it led to a miserable wintertime. I would not wish that on anybody.

We had multiple other companies out to try and address the issue, and nobody seemed to offer much help.

We had Eugene and his team out many times to try and address the root cause, and found a whole host of issues, probably caused by the interior drain tile installation (Reliable Basement).

Eugene and team were professional, on-time, patient, and dogged about trying to find the root case. We ultimately found issues with cracked pipes along the drain tile system, a crack in the floor drain, as well as a collapsed pipe on the city side. All of which was difficult to diagnose due to our house being quite old.

I cannot speak highly enough about First Chicago Plumbing, and would never hesitate to get their assistance.

I have been far from the most active member of the Yelp community.  But today I had the pleasure of connecting with Kevin at Sound Plumbing and felt moved to say a few kind words.  As most of you know, it's generally miserable to deal with contractors when things go wrong in your home.  You don't know where to start, you don't know who to trust, and you feel like everyone is giving you bad information.  We had some pretty bad water coming from around the shower and had Kevin take a look.  Kevin helped get to the bottom of the issue, and quickly identified the 'real' problem, even if it wasn't a problem that resulted in much (or even any) plumbing work for him personally.  I'm appreciative for people like Kevin that have such professionalism.  And while I hope for no future plumbing issues that require his services, if they do arrive I know where to go.

I called Jesus and I got an estimate upfront on my water heater installation, which was around $1485 for the water heater and labor itself. He came the next day to install and kept a very clear communication of what was going on. Long story short, my house is very old with a lot bad piping and he end up having to replaced my pipes, a 2-3 hour job for him became a 5 hours job, which he had to cancel his other jobs and only charged $500 more for changing out all the pipes and drilling a hole through the wall to make it work. Jesus is friendly, personable, and charges reasonable. He also told me the problem is within my chimney and needed inspection and cleaning. He also told me to call him for any issues and to follow up with the situation. I couldn't be of more grateful, thanks guys!

Seriously...Kevin and his crew are top notch. Not only in the work they do, but the follow up customer service and honest quotes. While I use Yelp for reviews, I never leave one...EVER. I feel compelled(I was not paid for this review) to speak out. I had Green Tech come out the first time for an emergency. We had just purchased a home, and of course within 8 weeks we had a flood in our basement. Kevin had someone out promptly and it was repaired quickly. The 2nd time was to rod out the main sewer line. This time I decided to shop my service, and we ended up having Green Tech handle the job. Once again, it was done promptly and Tim was great to work with. The pricing was on point. Kevin did give a higher estimate, but he did say it would most likely be cheaper. He wanted to give an honest estimate in a worst case scenerio. He refused to do a bait and switch and he personally followed up once the job was complete. Quality work and honesty in this line of business is usually difficult to find. The reviews he gets are definately true, and I feel lucky to have found this company.

They were WONDERFUL! Super communicative over Yelp and the phone; fixed our kitchen sink drain VERY quickly after another company came and failed (and tried to get me to do all sorts of extra other work); were super neat, conscientious, and careful; and were lovely to work with. We're asking them to do other work for us, too. As they walked around looking at our house to help do the estimates, they advised us on different approaches to save money and for better effect. Really loved this company.

We had a gas leak over the weekend, which resulted in our gas shut off. I was able to contact Captain Rooter and someone who is able to come out quickly and identify that there were multiple leaks. They return the following day and were able to address all the leaks and found a couple of more. Very fortunate that this did not turn into a fire or worse.
Special things to Manny and Brandon for all the hard work, especially during this time of year. They were nothing short of excellent and fantastic, hard-working individuals.

Darrel responded quickly, was able to be at our place within the hour, and installed our Ring Floodlight in about thirty minutes.  We did not have a proper junction box installed by our building contractors so he was able to fix this for us.  No complaints - installed correctly and is working!

Very responsive and pleasant to discuss business with. Respectful too and very comparable prices.

CJ Plumbing is the best! This is the second time I used their services. Each time their service was friendly, quick and professional. I just got a condo and bought it knowing the master bath did not have a working toilet, no water in the tank even with the valve turned on. I sent out the general yelp estimate search and Mike gave me a call back right away. I told him the issue and he was able to come out same day. He got my toilet working fast and helped me with my new shower head. The price was great and will definitely be calling him when i need things done in the future.

Juan came out and did the most thorough cleaning of the pipes. Inside, outside and to the street. I've got a lot of roots and with his camera, he showed me exactly where the problem areas are and was able to show before and after.

The ability to clearly communicate and answer my questions was super. I highly recommend this company. It is never cheap, but is a great investment to ensure years of problem free plumbing.

Noel was great! Quick and clear communication, was able to quickly come out, identified and resolved all of our problems and did so with complete professionalism every step of the way! Would highly recommend!

He rotted out our tub, assessed pipes and garbage disposal, and installed a new sump pump, along with its backup.
