In addition to the prompt and friendly service (two major pluses in my book), Pat at Drain-EEZ gave me tips about how I could save money by doing some easy home repairs myself on some of my plumbing issues. He showed me exactly what the problems were and how to avoid future plumbing issues. I also had to switch times at the last minute--no problem. The warm and friendly service I received with Pat was the same I received by the women who answered my call, whom I later found out to be his wife. If you need a local, knowledgeable and no-nonsense plumber, Pat is your guy.

Mac is the best!! We have been having some issues with our water heater and sent a message to Fast Plumbing 247 on Sunday evening. Mac responded right away and was able to come out on Tuesday (when it was like 5° out!)

Mac brought Sean with him, they were both super nice and professional. We got a very fair quote, and they did a great job!!  

I would recommend Mac to anybody looking to replace their water heater.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. Scotty's Plumbing must be on your go to list for plumbing service.  You will receive professional, friendly service with a contractor that actively communication with you.  Our issues were relatively minor.  A few photos shared with Scotty before his appointment allowed him to pre-diagnose the issue.  Pricing is more than fair.  Highly recommend Scotty!

I can't rave enough about Windy City Plumbing! In the worst cold weather that has happened in Chicago I had a pipe burst in my home and they were able to come same day to repair my pipe. Their prices are completely reasonable and I would recommend them for and plumbing need!

The company did a fantastic job of replacing a hot water heater. Really stellar. Responded quickly. Demonstrated fantastic knowledge. Gave a great price. I would never go anywhere else.

They've handled a few plumbing emergencies over the years. They are dependable, honest, and fairly priced.

Jesus is great! Super reasonable and fair pricing. He's also very quick to respond and pretty flexible/available. We've used him a couple of times for plumbing issues and he's done a great job - he even caught a couple of issues that weren't yet causing problems. He's one of the few plumbers who actually responds, gives a reasonable quote and won't gouge you on services. Definitely recommend!

1 out of 5 contractors who supposedly has 4 and above stars of reviews could not give me an estimate over the phone - rather they'll tell you how much $$$ it cost for them to visit and then go from there .... signs of ripping off your hard earned dollar .../
Green tech is so upfront with their price even though they haven't seen the problem yet - this is what I called honesty in service brought by experience .... they ask for the address and they search it in the web and there they figure the assessment based on the distance of your house towards the main drainage ...
Because of this I was being honest to them about my finances and they give me a substantial discount ....
The repair only took one hour ...
The owner who happens to take my call has that mild calm  fatherly tone of voice. This eases out my anxiety. Everyone else has this unprofessionally demanding full of threat like approach ....
I will definitely have this company in my list of favourite number in my phone...

Although they did not do any work for me, they were very responsive and professional.  I will keep this company in mind for our future plumbing needs.

Previously I wanted to install a ejector pump with a check valve. They quoted $5000. This was after them visiting my property and assessing the situation. On the day of the job they said that they wont be to install the pumps and charged me $4700 just for the check valve. Of course only having the check valve didn't solve the issue. And I again flew all the was from San Francisco to meet these guys to come up with a better solution. They said that installing a lift station will solve the problem. And it has been 3 weeks and i am yet to receive a quote or a start date for the work. Wasted $4700 and flight tickets. Very unprofessional behavior. Now they are not responsive at all. Never trust these guys!

Very professional service. You know one thing is for a professional to provide service but when a professional explains the process so you understand why the service is being done. Then goes above and beyond to explain how it is done so you can know how to do it yourself is also a plus in my eyes. I have a tenant in Rogers Park and needed someone who would be able to go to the tenant and take care of a clogged sink. (I do not live near enough to be able to head over on short notice myself.) Mike responded to my request almost immediately, we talked on the phone and I provided him with all the information I thought would be helpful. He gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to schedule an appointment with my tenant and handle everything that needed to be done. The job was not too small for him! So grateful that he was able to come out and handle this for me and quickly! My tenant said that Mike was an awesome dude and everything is now running smoothly. We both greatly appreciate his service!

Juan and company were great. Contacted them using Yelp and he was out here the next day with a free estimate. He was able to start immediately which was also helpful and unexpected.
They fixed a severely clogged sink. Some copper water piping replacement that was showing signs of corrosion. Inspected what I thought was a severe leak that only turned out to be a slow leaking outdoor faucet. Even took the time to give me a helpful tutorial on adjusting the water level for my sump pump.
Keeping his info handy for our future needs. Would highly recommend.

I don't write too many reviews but finding a good plumber you can use for life is impossible so I felt I should post this.  I have gone through a half dozen and I'm happy to say I finally found the Company I can count on and use as long as I live in Chicago land!   Recommended by a friend, I have used Five Plumbing on several occasions and all of the anxiety is out the window.  I would trust these guys to do work when I'm not there, it is done right the first time, everything is explained to you, they are realistic about what can and can't be done, and their prices are competitive.  I have gone the 'cheap' route several times and it does not work.  I have the 'redo' bills and water damage to prove it.  Stop reading, call them if you need some work done.
