We have used Drain-EEZ twice. They are honest, arrive prepared and while they are not the most cost effective option they are reliable and can be flexible with your schedule.

They simply got the job done. They were willing to work with us and find a creative solution for a difficult to replace water heater. They were straightforward after we got the runaround and upwelling from everyone else. I give them my highest reccomendation.

Peter came with his son to do a camera inspection - they were timely, communicative, gave us all the options and were great to deal with.  From the moment I contacted the company they responded IMMEDIATELY! and came out quickly.
We will definitely be using them in the future!!!

Scott is a tremendous find! Plumbers can be so expensive and many are kind of unreliable, but Scott is responsive, a great communicator and, most importantly, a very skilled plumber. He fixed our non-working shower in under an hour at a very reasonable price. He's also very friendly--we really enjoyed talking to him and our dog adored him. Highly recommended!

Responded immediately to my request for quote. Had someone (Sam) available within 30minutes to check out leaky shower. Was afraid problem was with pipes in the walls. It wasn't, he had it assessed, part replaced and problem fixed in an hour tops!  Super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Not only did Sam fix my primary problem quick and easy, he also identified an issue with our toilet that he told us how to fix ourselves, and he gave me referral for tile if needed but also told me how to fix ourselves as well. Then he also gave me a quote and recommendation on another job. I'll definitely use these guys again!!  Price wasn't the cheapest but I've learned cheap isn't smartest. In the long run, you get what you pay for. I got my $$ worth and I didn't feel like they were outrageously priced at all. Very reasonable price for Chicago.

First time dealing with sink pipes and corrosion.  I found this company on Yelp and I spoke with 4 companies total.  Thomas picked up my call, looked at my photos, and shared his recommendations.  He was transparent, explained the reasoning for his recommendations, and worked with me on my requests.  Same day...David and William came out for the service.  They inspected all of my sink pipes, shared their observations, and worked on what needed to be replaced.  The three gentlemen answered all of my questions.  

I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a plumbing service.  They were responsive, professional, efficient, patient, and thorough.  I'll be working with Chicago Sewer and Drain Professionals again.  Thank you, David, William, and Thomas!

Jose is great!  Easy to communicate with via email, on time, got the job done quickly, for an honest price.  He is a trustworthy plumber.

It was a pleasure working with First Chicago Plumbing. From the beginning, they had such great communication. The plumbers that came out were very friendly and nice. I HIGHLY recommend using them and I will definitely use them again in the future if needed.

Our management company has always been extremely satisfied with Sound Plumbing's service.  They are quick to respond and extremely experienced with all plumbing matters.  The Sound team is friendly, communicative, and very expert.

Jesus was great! He was honest, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. He hunted down our issue (which wasn't plumbing related) within the first five minutes and didn't charge us a cent for his time (others wanted to charge us $95 just for walking in the door). He's got a client for life now. Highly recommend.

Tim was excellent. Very knowledgeable. Did efficient and thorough work for a very fair price. Will be using them again for some other projects.

So I've used dozens of services in the city and I have to take the time to recognize Midwest today. They were able to accomplish same day service for a blocked main line. When the first two attempts failed from inside the unit they persisted from a catch basin outside. When that failed, the next option was to have it pumped out and Hydrojetted (much more cost intensive) As I was waiting for availability and a quote on a late Friday afternoon, Danny the tech continued to try to Rod the line and ended up succeeding. After Hours of work he called to tell me that he had accomplished it.
They were also more cost effective than the other three quotes I had gotten before. This is an ethical company which is soo refreshing in the city.

Do not use this company!  They use unlicensed plumbers that have significant criminal history that caused over 25k of water damage in our condo!  (You can find full names of workers in other reviews...doing a quick google search will show you that they have robbed stores, drug history, etc).  
We called captain rooter to fix a leaky faucet on 2/15.  They send Dylan and Jonathon.  They had to cut into our walls by our toilet and faucet because they said we had a bad shit off valve.  They cut the pipe out around our faucet.  All fine.  They were going to come back the following week to fix it.  Never heard back from Dylan.  We called the main line again.  They then sent us Adam and James.  Adam then said if we pay him directly, he can do the job cheaper.  Fine!  We don't care!  Just want the job done.  It had already been 2 weeks with holes in our walls and no sink upstairs.  We paid him $1300 in cash.  He put 'shark bites' in our walls.  We thought the job was fixed and then woke up on a Saturday morning to water leaking in our downstairs foyer ceiling...upstairs floors ruined.  Downstairs floors ruined.  Called Joel again from Captain Rooter...he then sent Andrew.  Andrew came in and could not believe the damage and destruction that the previous 'plumbers' caused.  Andrew was there all day fixing the problem and then charged us $2028 for the job.
We are currently dealing with our homeowners insurance and all sorts of damage done to our condo.  Joel from Captain Rooter has been less than helpful.  He states it's not his fault.  
Just an FYI, I learned a lot about plumbing law during all of this.  Whenever you get a plumber, ask for their license and COI.  You can also look them up on IDPH website by name to verify.
Do not use this company!!!  If any one wants more info, I'm happy to share...just don't want to be a total Karen.  Just trying to save someone else from going through this DISASTER.  
Every plumber they send us was not licensed.  As a consumer, we had no idea this was a thing!  On their website, it clearly states licensed, bonded, insured.   They are most definitely not.

I'm a new condo owner and my smoke alarm started beeping like crazy. I thought it must be a low battery, but did not know if it was linked to other condos and did not want to bring the fire department to my house in case it was. The beeping started Monday morning and I called another company  to come the same day. Not only were they late, they said they would not be able to come till the next day (so I and my neighbors would have to endure an evening and night full of beeping). By this time it was 3 pm. Thankfully, I looked online and found Sims and Son. Darryl answered my call immediately and asked me to text him my address. He and his colleague Tim came over immediately after their last job at 6 pm and fixed my smoke alarm in 3 -5 mins. They gave me advice on how to operate it, what batteries to use to stave off the beeping , and some other neat tips for what I could do to enhance my lighting and save electricity. They saved my day. Wonderful company, I will definitely be using them again :)

The plumber was on time, he was courteous and even covered his boots with booties so as not to track into our house. He took pictures of the work and showed it to me when the job was finished. The internet said the job would take a few hours, he was done in 40 minutes. He cleaned up nicely. You wouldn't even know he had been there.  
So far, the repair of our toilet has held up and I expect it will. Should we need a plumber again, ABV will be our first call.

Poor communication also. Dimitri said he'd think about it, when I proposed a resolution where they paid for part and I'd pay for part of it. Then ghosted me. Also was very aggressive and mocking on the phone. Not someone you want to do business with.

I did the Yelp thing where they send out requests for quotes to a few vendors and Mike replied right away, and once I had a chance to call him he was able to get to my place about an hour later and fix my kitchen water pressure and connect the water line to my refrigerator. Mike was cool and personable and obviously good at what he does, and the price was fair and in line with a couple other guesstimates I had looked at. A good experience overall and I will call him first next time I need a plumber.

Had a slow drain issue and Juan was the only person that got back to me in a timely manner. Showed me where my issue is and made recommendations to avoid this issue again. Definetly recommend and I will be contacting Juan again for any future plumbing issues. Very professional with his work and takes time to figure out the real issue. I can't thank him and his apprentice enough. They were very respectful of property and wore mask due to covid. Again I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed and you will learn a thing or two. Highly satisfied customer.

Mr. Noel is an independent plumber. He works for himself so he has total control of his schedule. He tells you exactly when he is available (not a ridiculous two hours window). and shows up on time. He does not charge an exorbitant fee like others do.  What a pleasure to do business with him!
