After the initial shock of how much plumbing jobs costs, I shopped around.  I had my new sink hooked up.  Drain-EEZ didn't lie about their pricing and arrive and write some crazy quote like Rocket Plumbing.

Drain-EEZ was great!  Lou came out and was very polite and didn't freak out when my corgi Maggie came and said hi.  He called and let me know when he would arrive.  It was within the estimated arrival timeframe.  

Lou was very knowledgeable and gave great tips on how to maintain my new sink and answered any of my questions.  Drain-EEZ was affordable (by actual plumbers standards) and they didn't blink an eye when I wanted to pay with credit.  Great job!

-Update February 2014-

The sink started leaking.  I called Drain-EEZ and they said they would fix their work no problem.  Lou came back out within a day and fixed it right up.  No charge! :)  Awesome!

My tankless water heater was replaced today by Mac. I called him at 9:30 and he was at my house with a new heater quick. He was very nice and gave me tips on how to do upkeep. He had to take down my old one to put the new one in. I will be referring him to family and friends if they have water heater issues!

I would like to add an update to my issue with Rescue Plumbing. I see they have responded with a method seen with other reviews; blaming me for their internal issues. Even if I was incorrect in my review (I wasnt) or that I had somehow called the wrong plumber (I didnt), the type of response both here on yelp and via phone call would be another major red flag as I look at choosing a plumber. If a plumber has zero interest in accountability over a small issue like this...what happens when project errors occur as they always will? When an issue arises, this plumber's apparent instinct is to blame their customer. Following my initial review, I received numerous texts and calls from the owner. I repeatedly asked him kindly to disengage. Requests that were not respected. There was accusations of not calling this plumber, things about their call logs, and general accusations of how I am at fault here. The gas-lighting he attempted is comical to me, but makes me furious to think if it had been my elderly parent or other loved one experiencing this type of interaction. Based on my interaction I would not feel comfortable with this plumber in my home. I have included photos of my outgoing calls on the day I scheduled service as well as on the day in question when I called to understand why know one showed. These calls match the number displayed on Rescue Plumbing A| Webster's yelp page at the time. I see that has been changed. Curious.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

Saved the day! I know it's Chicago and naturally there's more in the industry but still. For a fast on demand fix that's done professionally and without judgment, A+ 100% 6 STARS! Customer service recurrently first to respond and communicate with me via easiest method email phone text etc. Billing was a snap! Fast secure and safe via check or Chase Quick Pay with Visa or Mastercard (wouldn't accept Amex no complaints here as most in the industry charge the consumer a 3 pct swipe fee or offer cash discount, no haggling here. Sure I could have attempted to fix this broken toilet myself but when you are entertaining there's no time for discrepancies. Eugene and Atanas are the two most courteous I've met. Believe me even I would have pause over this small job due to odd birthday costumes etc. Lol. I suggest they offer a area for later follow up review with gratuity. Granted this job wasn't huge but I do firmly believe in gratuity if a jobs done above and beyond expectations and earlier than promised! I literally pulled up when they arrived on time they were done an hour earlier! That's critical to me having dealt with runaround etc. Again, if you want diy or cheap then go do it. If you want a firm solid number that doesn't have surprises, this is IT! THEY SAVED THE DAY!

Our refrigerator stopped working a few days before Christmas, including our waterline and valve to the new fridge. I requested a quote and they came out the same day. Fast, reliable, and friendly!

Green Tech Plumbing offered superb service from start to finish. I reached out through Yelp after reading other great reviews and got a quick response. Kevin provided me some appointment options and repair or replacement. We elected to replace our hot water heater and get a slightly larger tank. Ryan, who did the work at our house, came first thing Saturday morning and was professional and efficient. He was thoughtful about letting me know he was going to have the outside door propped open while moving the tank in the event we have pets. He was done replacing the tank even faster than anticipated, allowing us to focus on other tasks for most of the day. Ryan made sure all my questions were answered and offered guidance about setting the heating level.

Kevin and Ryan made the whole experience easy. We had a new water heater within two days and it's working great. We also found the cost of the new tank and installation quite reasonable.

couldn't even get this guy to commit to go out there. he suggested i contact the original installer......duh, i did which is why i contacted them.  No one wants to work these days.

Very satisfied with the work they did, I called them for a pipe that busted on my kitchen sink they were able to come out the next day and get it fixed before anymore water damage was done, I gave 4 stars instead of five because one of the technician had car problems and didn't make it to the appointment time and they didn't tell me until hours later but the dispatcher or the lady that answered the call was really nice and apologetic and was able to send a replacement out right away, I will definitely call them back!

Our sump pump failed at night and I reached out to ABV on Yelp and they responded even after hours to address my concern.  They came the next morning and changed my existing sump pump and even showed me exactly what was wrong with the first one.  Ivo was very friendly and helpful.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing service.

Toilet was leaking in my en suite and I wanted to take care of it ASAP before it caused damage downstairs. I reached out to CJ Plumbing and they got back to me within 10 minutes. We scheduled a date and the plumber whose name I didn't catch came in masked up and put shoe covers on which I really appreciated. He replaced the wax seal and I swear he left my bathroom cleaner then he found it. Everything looked so sparkly lol. Will definitely use this company again should I need the wax seal replaced in my other bathroom. Thank you!

Quick same-day service to fix a toilet fill valve. Took a look around the house at a couple other potential issues and made some recommendations. Professional and would recommend!

Juan came out to replace a wax ring on a toilet. He quickly did the work and the toilet is now very secure. He was  friendly and able to do the work with a days notice. Reasonable price and very responsive. I would definitely use him again for any plumbing work I need done.

Noel was very easy to work with.  I wasn't at the property where the problem was.  He called when he said he would, described the problem, gave me a quote, fixed it, and it was done.  Easy peasy.  I was also able to conveniently pay him via Chase Quick Pay so my tenant wouldn't have to be involved in any exchange of money.   I will definitely use him again.
