My hot water tank wasn't working, and while this is not something they service, Pat was nice enough to talk me through the process of relighting the pilot light over the phone.  He made sure I was understood the directions and was very patient while I worked through restarting the water tank.  I appreciated the honest customer service.

Mac is awesome!!  We had Mac come out because we had water dripping into our basement underneath our bathroom.  Turned out we needed a pipe rodded out.  Upon inspection of the pipe, he determined it would be better to cut into the pipe instead of trying to open the drain cover that was rusted on.  He noticed a crack in the pipe and was able to cut into the pipe at the crack and put a new cleanout opening right there.  He fixed two problems at once.  Since he was there, he also fixed a dripping faucet in the tub area.  He does very good work, is reasonable, and reliable.  What more could you ask.

The day after a huge rainstorm last month, we realized our sump pit was full of water, and mere inches from overflowing. I called Rescue Plumbing and they could be here that afternoon. Fred and Frank came out and were fantastic to work with. They first tested to make sure it wasn't a water pipe leak under the house, and then determined that there was a clogged sewer line. Our house didn't have sewer access so they were going to have to put that in under our front porch. The crew was able to start the next day and completed that portion of the job as well as getting the clog out. The following day, Fred and Frank installed a new sump pump since ours was at the end of its lifespan.

Everyone at Rescue Plumbing was super nice (especially in my stressed and anxious state), professional, and knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend them and we'll definitely use them again as well.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Scotty fixed my sink, which wasn't code-compliant, and helped me get rid of the sewer smell in my bathroom. He's a super friendly and knowledgeable guy, and he was very patient with my rambunctious puppy! Will definitely give him a call if something else goes wrong.

I called Rocket Plumbing for 3 separate smallish jobs in our condo unit (to be completed on one visit). From my initial contact to paying for the completed job, these guys were the best. My initial call was answered live and the woman could not have been more professional, courteous and helpful. Our visit was offered same day, which we actually could not take, so we were offered a window on the next day. Nick the plumber showed up on the early side of the window and was extremely nice and it was clear he knows what he is doing. Very professional guy who answered all my questions like a pro. Prices were excellent. Service was excellent.  Charge was per job with up front pricing which was clearly explained. After 20 years plus of living in Chicago, I've finally found my go-to plumbing company. A++

We had an emergency where our pump for our basement toilet stopped working. They responded right away, gave us a quote and came the same day, a Sunday. They replaced our pump quickly with no surprise charges. They practiced social distance and wore masks. Very pleased and would use them again. They install quality pumps too, no cheapies.

I had to replace my garbage disposal under the kitchen sink. I called four different companies to get a quote. One company told me they couldn't give quotes over the phone; they would have to come out, but I would have to pay them for coming over even if I decided the quote was too high. The other two companies gave me ridiculously high quotes. When I called First Chicago Plumbing and explained what I needed to get done, they gave me a very reasonable quote and scheduled an appointment three days later. On the day of the appointment, they called an hour before to let me know they were on their way. They got everything done in 20 min. They were very nice and professional. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again for any of the plumbing related issues.

Kevin knows his stuff.  Made time that worked with our unusual schedule and took care of our repair though what was a particularly challenging impediments.  On time, on budget, and the repair is gorgeous.  Also, a really nice guy.  No need to call anyone else.

Today, I finally found a great plumber I could trust. Jesus is so amazing in every way. He's kind, honest, super knowledgable, and a great technician. He was able to fix my bathroom plumbing problem in no time and at a reasonable price. What a relief to finally have someone I could turn to when I have plumbing issues. I highly recommend Jesus the next time you need work done. I can't thank him enough!

Had a problem with sump pump causing overflow and creating a real big mess and urgent situation. Contacted Kevin through Yelp after hours, in few minutes he told me that Dan is on his way. In one hour not that they fixed the issue but Dan was also able to replace the noisy valve on the spot for a very fair price. Tremendous respect for these guys. I can honestly say - this was by far The best, easiest and fastest service experience that we ever had with any type of contractors!

I had a loss of power so I called Sims and Sons and Darrell got an electrician out to me in less than 2 hours.  Elvir came out, diagnosed the issue and took care of it quickly, explaining to me everything I needed to know.

He replaced under kitchen sink drain pipe very happy with it he got all the material, done in one day..I'm glad a hired a professional than my bf lol got the job done right

Dmitri was amazing!  After our previous plumber had repaired a leaking kitchen faucet, we noticed the water pressure had dropped significantly.    We called this plumber for some help trouble-shooting; the owner was completely uninterested in helping us, and failed to even return my call.

I then researched local plumbers on Yelp and noticed that CJ Plumbing in Evanston had received spectacular reviews.  I called and talked to Dmitri, the owner.  He said he could probably correct the problem with minimal time and effort; he volunteered to come over and do this free of charge!
That's exactly what he did this afternoon, and our water pressure is now restored.

I am always thrilled to come across a company which puts long-term customer relationships over short term financial gain.  All our future plumbing business will, of course, go to CJ Plumbing.

Believe the 5 star reviews, Mike is awesome! It's so nice to have a plumber in my contacts who I not only know will do great work, but is also fair and 100% trustworthy. Mike is also super responsive, dependable, and takes great pride in his work. And to top it all off, we actually had a really fun day together when he came by! Great guy + great work = no brainer on reaching out to him for your plumbing needs.

I have had Juan come out twice to look at 2 issues. He used his camera scope to diagnose a drain issue and also installed a new sump pump for me.

All around one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. He was helpful in sharing his knowledge. He didn't take on work where he felt it was outside his expertise. When he did the sump pump install, it was very detailed and the price was very fair.

I found Noel on Yelp a while back for a clog and now he has done 4 projects for me - including a burst pipe emergency in January and he was right here to get it taken care of!  He is the always informative, walking through the current problem as well as what we need to consider down the road for preventative measures (if necessary).  The best thing I can say about a person is that they know their stuff, and Noel does!  Yesterday, we thought we had a problem, Noel came over right over today to  check; ended up  it was user error - kind of a funny mistake on our side ; but he made no judgement and walked me through what needed to be done. He is very focused when working - to get the job done as thoroughly yet as quickly as possible.  He is the cleanest plumber too, very attentive on keeping his work area clean as he works and the area always looks as good (maybe even better!?) as when he started.  Noels work ethic is excellent, professional and as I said before, he knows his stuff!!  One thing I have learned is that anything with water/plumbing needs to be done right the first time and without shortcuts;  with Five Plumbing, you won't need to worry.
