Great company!!! My garbage disposal wasn't working and I called and spoke to Pat to set up an appointment.  Rather than charging me to come out (over $100) he gave me a quick recommendation on how to fix it and I was able to handle it on my own!  THAT is service and integrity!  Definitely calling them for any of my other needs.

Just a heads' up on the 24/7 service claimed here.  I called to request an emergency service call on a Sunday afternoon and was told that they didn't have any availability until later next week and whoever answered then hung up.  Not the best experience since I wouldn't have called if the business hadn't advertised itself as 247.

Update to this review: Got a text message that the call was dropped accidently in a basement along with a number for another plumber to call.  Thanks, that helped.

Javier from Rescue Plumbing is great!  I had a burst pipe from the cold temperatures so I called Rescue Plumbing.They were able to schedule me for an appointment the same day. Javier was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and how the job would be carried out. I very much appreciated that he answered all of my questions---which were many! When the issue was identified he made sure I understood the issue by explaining the situation and making sure I could see it. He also explained the cause of the issue and how to prevent future bursts.

The pricing is very transparent so there were no surprises when it was time to pay the invoice. Javier explained the pricing beforehand as well as again, before payment. Javier documented everything both with photos and a written explanation which made it easier to submit a comprehensive invoice to my insurance adjuster. I would definitely recommend Rescue Plumbing! Hopefully, I don't have another plumbing issue any time soon, but if I do, I would use Rescue Plumbing and request Javier!

After posting the review below I was contacted by Kimberly and Brian (owner of Rocket). Both were concerned and apologetic. Kim explained that they went through a period when they had issues with their phones and this had caused consternation for many customers. They quickly provided the needed letter. It is clear that Brian takes pride in his company and strives to provide knowledgeable and excellent service. If I have plumbing issues again, my first call will be to Rocket. Rock on, Rocket!

I had originally posted a 5 star review of Rocket Plumbing but I deleted it due to lack of follow-up. I originally called Rocket to assess water damage in the bathroom of my condo after the maintenance staff kept saying it was caused by me showering. The Rocket employee (I really liked him so I won't give his name) took one look and stated the damage was definitely caused by water leaking from somewhere above my unit. He was damn good at his job and followed through by meeting with both my upstairs neighbor and the building engineer. The building engineer told both me and the Rocket employee that the water leak originated two floors above me and stated that they would take care of it. The employee rightly sensed that there might be trouble with the management office of my building and told me to let him know if there were any problems. The employee also did a good job of replacing the wax ring on the toilet. I called the employee and he did call back once but when I answered the call no one was there. Subsequent calls were not returned. The management office and maintenance staff are still being uncooperative and I really need a letter from the Rocket employee giving his professional opinion as to what caused the damage to my bathroom.

They came out the same day, much faster than they anticipated to take a look at our issue. After assessing and not being able to reproduce it, they recommended we keep an eye on it and not move forward with any additional services unless it happens again. There was no charge for the consultation, and they didn't want to do anything that would cost us a service fee until they were confident it would fix the issue. They seem trustworthy and we will definitely contact them again if we have any future issues!

our building has worked with Windy city plumbing for several years now and their services go above and beyond expectations. jose is always been our go-to guy for plumbing emergencies & is always been there for our building. he is by far the best plumber in the chicagoland area!!!!!

We hired First Chicago Plumbing to install the necessary plumbing, laundry box, vents and drains for our electric washer and dryer. Eugene and team were highly efficient in terms of email communications and were able to answer any questions I had regarding permits, inspections, licenses, etc. The team visited 3-4 times to ensure everything was done to the highest standard, permits were passed and inspections completed. The work was performed high quality work, ensured I was kept updated throughout, and made sure to clean up after themselves on all occasions. I would highly recommend First Chicago Plumbing and I am very happy with the project that was completed today. Looking forward to working with you again in the future

We had a lot of plumber-related work to be done on our place.  

We bought a bank-owned home, so we weren't really sure what we were going to get.  As he was opening up some walls, our carpenter noticed some strange plumbing things going on.  We knew that would probably happen, so I hired Kevin based on about five interviews with other plumbers.

Kevin did the following work: ran gas lines to install a gas stove/range and also for a fireplace; ran gas line outside for a grill; re-pitched our sink drain running from the kitched (which was a problem he had another house in the neighborhood); installed new showerhead, new temperature guage, and three independant shut-off valves in master shower; ran 3/4 pipe to master shower; resolved cold/hot water issues and other water pressure problems throughout; he expanded the drain mouth in same master shower; fixed gas-capture elbow joint in same master shower drain.

I'm sure he did more things than those listed, but this was the bulk of it (or what I can remember).  In fact, he came back to fix something extra I didn't even know was wrong, and he did it free of charge.  Overall, I think Kevin's work ethic is what separated him from others.  He never ceased until he was satsified that the job was done perfectly.  He genuinely seemed to care that he fix the problems in our place and cared that he did them properly and to a high level quality satisfaction.  His charges seemed fair, but then again, I don't really have a lot to compare them with.  But,

I would definitely hire Kevin in the future.  In fact, I have to call him soon to fix yet another plumbing issue.

Jesus was awesome. Right after moving in to our new house, we had water backup in our basement. He assessed the situation, tested it the ejector pump, and determined it was just a stuck valve most likely due to having not been used in so long prior to us moving in. He said it if happened again we could just jiggle the pipe to dislodge the valve. He tested it a few times and it DID WORK. He said if I still wanted, he could open it up and look but I decided his verdict was good enough for me. He said it was NO CHARGE and wouldn't accept payment even though I tried to insist. He was really great at explaining everything to me since I know very little about plumbing or sewer issues. He was awesome and will definitely be our go-to guy for this stuff from now on.

We had standing water in our basement, called them up after seeing the other reviews and they were there in 20 minutes on a Sunday morning. We were told by both the person on the phone and the plumber that came out that it would be double time being a Sunday, which was very courteous of them. Problem was fixed in less than an hour and we were good to go. It was a bit pricey but I didn't compare with other companies so I can't say it was fair. Dan was great and we were very pleased with the entire interaction.

10 out of 5 stars. I have literally, LITERALLY nothing but good things to say. Danny and Jose Knocked It Out Of The Park. Mark, the boss/guy my husband spoke to on the phone also made an instantly good impression.

Updated 12/30 - once again these guys came through. Called and they came out same day. Joe and William were phenomenal and found the problem fast, but took there time to talk through the solution and fix the issue. Very nice and courteous to our home. Really appreciate their help and service.

Nice enough and responsive scheduling via text. However the cost vs effort put in to look at our leak was not worth it compared to other vendors I've worked with. If you have a trickier issue, I'd say look elsewhere.

ABV was great. They were assigned to my home warranty case for two leaky shower faucets. A previous plumber was afraid to even touch the faucets because the handles would not come off easily. ABV took on the challenge and both faucets are fixed. There was a 3rd faucet that would not get hot but was not covered under the home warranty they fixed that as well while they were here for a very small fee. If I ever need a plumber again I will tell my home warranty I want them to send these guys.

Very prompt response to my request for a quote and service. On time and courteous. Quick, clean work. Patient with kids and curious dogs!

Mike is awesome! What started out as a simple kitchen drain rodding, turned into an angioplasty of about an 18 section of drain pipe due to excessive amount of grease build up. Then, in spite of the drain pressure build-up exploding sludge all over him, he held his composure and cleaned everything up. Very professional with a great work ethic. Mike is now my new go-to plumber.

We had a leaking garbage disposal that we found out about on a Friday night. Juan came out the very next day and replaced it for me at a very reasonable price. He also fixed a p trap that was about to leak with some spare parts that he had in his truck.

On top of that he also gave me some great advice on some other plumbing projects that I'm working on.

I will be reaching out to Juan for all my future plumbing needs.

Noel is friendly, professional, and great at his work. I called at 6pm with a leaking bathtub drain, he was at my condo within an hour, and had the problem identified and fixed within 45 minutes.  He explained everything he was doing and clearly showed me the problem and the solution. All for a very reasonable price, especially considering it was after normal business hours. I will absolutely call him for all my plumbing needs from now on. Great experience.
