We had a fabulous experience with this company. Our ejection pump broke, leaving sewage backing up in our basement. They came almost immediately, assessed and correctly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed quickly that day. They were careful to avoid leaving a mess in the house and gave us advice on getting the smell and preceding mess out of there. I would highly recommend them for their diligent, professional, prompt work.

Fantastic experience all around! Can't beat the pricing or the service. They were highly responsive and communicative, and showed-up exactly when promised. They replaced our hot water heater 24-hours after I called. Turns out, it might have been faster if I called them on the weekend. They DO NOT charge extra for weekend service appointments! Also, we are a multi-pet household, and they were extra sensitive to the cats and dog. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

This company is amazing. We had a massive flood in our basement due to a malfunction in our sump pump. Eric and Rick arrived within 10 minutes. Resolved the issue promptly and got the restoration and mitigation crew over within an hour. While it was a terrible ordeal, this company provided the solution we needed. Will definitely use them again if needed.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

I had Scott come by for a garbage disposal clog - I sent over a picture of the area, and based on that, he showed up prepared with a whole new garbage disposal for me, and installed it!! The clogged one was quite old and the trap needed replaced. He did it all, and was super quick and it was affordable, + told me things to consider in the future / other things that may need replaced / etc.

Have had to call Rocket Plumbing three times in the past year and each and every time they have delivered excellent service.  Not only have they been friendly and prompt (both the dispatcher and the plumbers), but the plumbers (previously Anthony and most recently Nick) have also been extremely educational.  Each time I have learned something new, and they are very patient with me to make sure I understand so I know exactly what is causing the problem and how to avoid and/or fix in the future.  It's just great to know exactly who to call in times of need like this!  Thank you, Rocket Plumbing!

Thomas was very communicative, he came out to the property to provide a free quote, and he promptly sent the quote pdfs. I was disappointed after talking with another plumber at how Thomas seemed to be trying to up-charge us for repairs and procedures that were not necessary to fix our problem. I don't think I will reach out again to Thomas, despite his good communication, as trust was broken by the amount he was proposing charging.

For potential clients reading this review: A year passing since this quote was sent makes my review all the more relevant. We ended up having the check valve and sump pump replaced for $1300 total. Chicago Sewer & Drain quoted us $1100 for camera/hydrojetting the main sewer line, $1600 for an ejector pump replacement, $1200 for a sump pump replacement, and the check valve replacement would be included with other repairs. We had significant savings with the approach we took (over $2000), and everything works perfectly fine over a year later. This is why I characterized the quotes as upsell.

These guys were awesome. At first I thought the job was going to be tough but they ended up handling it and it was a great result. They were super polite and actually gave me a lot of info and recommendations without me asking which was great. Highly recommended!

I had to replace my garbage disposal under the kitchen sink. I called four different companies to get a quote. One company told me they couldn't give quotes over the phone; they would have to come out, but I would have to pay them for coming over even if I decided the quote was too high. The other two companies gave me ridiculously high quotes. When I called First Chicago Plumbing and explained what I needed to get done, they gave me a very reasonable quote and scheduled an appointment three days later. On the day of the appointment, they called an hour before to let me know they were on their way. They got everything done in 20 min. They were very nice and professional. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again for any of the plumbing related issues.

We had a lot of plumber-related work to be done on our place.  

We bought a bank-owned home, so we weren't really sure what we were going to get.  As he was opening up some walls, our carpenter noticed some strange plumbing things going on.  We knew that would probably happen, so I hired Kevin based on about five interviews with other plumbers.

Kevin did the following work: ran gas lines to install a gas stove/range and also for a fireplace; ran gas line outside for a grill; re-pitched our sink drain running from the kitched (which was a problem he had another house in the neighborhood); installed new showerhead, new temperature guage, and three independant shut-off valves in master shower; ran 3/4 pipe to master shower; resolved cold/hot water issues and other water pressure problems throughout; he expanded the drain mouth in same master shower; fixed gas-capture elbow joint in same master shower drain.

I'm sure he did more things than those listed, but this was the bulk of it (or what I can remember).  In fact, he came back to fix something extra I didn't even know was wrong, and he did it free of charge.  Overall, I think Kevin's work ethic is what separated him from others.  He never ceased until he was satsified that the job was done perfectly.  He genuinely seemed to care that he fix the problems in our place and cared that he did them properly and to a high level quality satisfaction.  His charges seemed fair, but then again, I don't really have a lot to compare them with.  But,

I would definitely hire Kevin in the future.  In fact, I have to call him soon to fix yet another plumbing issue.

Diego came out the same day that a plumbing issue at my condo presented itself. He was able to figure out a solution and fix it on the spot. He was courteous, professional and very obviously knowledgeable. I will be working with them for future plumbing issues, and I suggest you do the same!

Unprofessional, sloppy, unreliable.  They were not able to perform the jobs they came to do, were late, overcharged us by 20 minutes, and when they were told we were still having problems with what they were supposed to have fixed, they told us it had nothing to do with them and did not try to make it right.  Really makes you wonder where all of these 5 stars reviews came from...

So far so good. The crew were very responsive,  came the next day, and helped us clear out some slow drains and a backed up line

I called Captain Rooter on a Saturday night and Dylan was quick to respond and offer us all of our options. He came out as soon as we asked and was able to make a quick assessment, get us a new garbage disposal, and get the job done in a very timely manner. He was kind and very professional too. I recommend Captain Rooter with no reservations!

I had Sims and Sons install a dedicated outlet for my house. They performed excellent work. I was able to get on their schedule quickly. Their technician (Enis) arrived promptly, wore shoe covers in the house, and did a great job with the installation. They left the house clean. I'm very happy with their service.

Katy and Ivo were great to work with.  On time arrival for the job.  Fast and efficient work!  A leaking wax seal on the toilet was diagnosed and repaired, and the bathroom was cleaned and dried, in less than an hour.  We are very pleased to have found ABV Plumbing!

We had a drain backup in the basement and needed help fast. Dmitri arrived on time, observed CoVid protocol, took off his shoes without having to be asked, and went right to work. He diagnosed the problem, worked hard to resolve the issue, and made some great suggestions to avoid future problems with tree roots in the pipes. He was polite, efficient, and thorough. I also spoke with the owner (also named Dmitri) and he was very easy to reach quickly, and quite helpful. I recommend this company!

Mike is awesome! What started out as a simple kitchen drain rodding, turned into an angioplasty of about an 18 section of drain pipe due to excessive amount of grease build up. Then, in spite of the drain pressure build-up exploding sludge all over him, he held his composure and cleaned everything up. Very professional with a great work ethic. Mike is now my new go-to plumber.

All the prior five stars reviews are correct. Juan and the gentleman that accompanied him did a fantastic job putting in a new toilet for me. Efficient, cleaned up everything afterwards, friendly, and most important...knowledgeable about plumbing. Extremely fair pricing. You get the sense he is a very honest individual and I sometimes get vibes from other professionals that they are trying to extract every dime they could from a job. I did not feel this at all with Juan. I didn't know anything about toilets and Juan spent time on the phone with me before I had even booked him for a job explaining details to look for that I wouldn't have known. Contacted him back once the toilet arrived and he promptly responded to my text with a day and time. Even took time after he finished the job to explain a separate issue I was having with one of my pipes regarding the washer (went down to the basement, etc.). I've stored his number in my phone and won't hesitate to call him back if any further plumbing issues should arise. He will be my go-to guy from here on out. 100% highly recommend.

Noel is what I expect from a plumber. He was thorough and so old school when it came to plumbing tactics.  He even came in with a bucket full of tools instead of a toolbox.  

The beauty about this is that he got to the root of the problem, used the pseudo tool box as a bucket to catch the running water and issued me a hand written invoice just the way I would expect it from a plumber.

Noel did ask to take pictures prior so he knew what mess he was going to deal with so to that extent, he was tech savvy but the savvy-ness ends there. He'll tell you as it is with no BS.  He also took a picture of my drain for future reference in case he needed to reference back to my unit in the future.

He was fast and met me within an hour of initially requesting his service.

I'll definitely use Noel again for any plumbing needs.
