These guys rock! With this being the first winter in our new house we've had two occasions to call Rocket Plumbing for water emergencies. Thankfully they were there to help on extremely short notice.

Call #1 (later Dec 2013): leaky outside faucet that we couldn't fix on our own (although we sure tried). After a lot of recon work we decided it was best to call in the professionals before the cold weather set in later that night. Tony came by and helped us get squared away with a dedicated shut-off valve inside the house to be used during the winter. Obviously this should have been done when they rehabbed the whole house 10 years ago, but now we had peace of mind that it's done right.

Call #2 (early Jan 2014): like almost everyone else in the Chicago area the -40 wind temps did a number on us and burst the pipe leading to the OTHER outside faucet. Unfortunately it burst inside the wall of our lower floor and flooded 1/2 of that level. Called the guys at Rocket, they said they had a waiting list longer than you'd believe but since I was a repeat customer they would try to fit me in as they had a guy right in my neighborhood. A few hours later Marlon was at the door and basically did the same thing that was done for the other pipe; put a dedicated shut-off valve inside. Otherwise there was no way to turn off the water to that faucet without turning off the water to the whole house.

On both occasions the gentlemen were very professional, courteous, detailed, and even explained why things happened and how it all should have been done right the first time. I can't say enough for how helpful Rocket was during both of our semi-emergencies; I'll definitely use them again if I have any more plumbing needs (fingers x-ed that this is it for a while though).

Now I'm off to line up restoration guys... the insurance company is going to love this!

We had an emergency where our pump for our basement toilet stopped working. They responded right away, gave us a quote and came the same day, a Sunday. They replaced our pump quickly with no surprise charges. They practiced social distance and wore masks. Very pleased and would use them again. They install quality pumps too, no cheapies.

If you are looking for plumbers, just call these guys. They are the best you can get! No worries because they are very responsible for their job. I remodeled my entire condo in the past few months and I had too many contractors. I have to say Jose and his team are the best among them all! They are the best because they are very responsible for their works. As we all know, contractors make mistakes sometimes. So do they. However, Jose responded quickly! He came to fix the problem on the next day. Additionally, their price is fair. I had many quotes from other companies that were much more expensive than them. I don't know how well those other companies can do according to their prices but I do know they cannot beat Jose and his team for sure. Jose will always make you satisfied and he never gives up on his customers. What else do you expect from your contractors? Save yourself some time and stop hesitating.  just call them! You won't regret for this choice!

I should have reviewed this a long time ago - my disposal started leaking under my sink...I posted on yelp for quotes or people that would be interested in my neighborhood for this small job.  I got a few responses but Sound got back to me right away and was able to come the next day. He offered to bring a comparable disposal or if I opted to get my own he would install.  I let him do it all.  Not only did he come and do the work fast and efficient - he also fixed the pressure on my sink that has boggled my mind since I've lived here.  Great guy - highly recommended.

I gave Midwest Hydro Jetting and Sewer Service 5 stars because, although they were unable to assist me, Mike referred me to Windy City Plumbing who does install plumbing for a bathroom in the basement to the city sewer.  This was a first for me, usually I am told that they don't know anyone who can assist me,
If I need any plumbing repair I will be calling them because this is a reputable company. Kudos to Midwest for guiding potential customers to others who are capable of doing a job that is not part of their company's description.

I have an old building.  I noticed the basement dirt ground seemed moist but did not pay much attention.  Then few months back, things got a lot worse.  First, the ground was sinking fast, then the sewer water started gushing out whenever I use water.

I contacted two 5-star popular plumbing services on Yelp.  They looked at the situation and told me that they need to dig down at 3 spots and replaced sewer lines there, but it will take at least 2 days to finish the job, and they cannot start until next week.  They also tried to rot and jet, neither cleared the line.  Frustrated, I searched again on Yelp and found Capitan rooter, and it turned out to be the best choice I made.

Joel was able to provide a quote over the phone based on problem described.  A detailed proposal was sent shortly.  The very next day, Oscar and the crew stopped by and started on the job.  The crew were the most efficient plumbers I met. Oscar immediately identified the main spot of problem, which was different than the spot identified by the other two companies.  I am so glad he made the right call because the other spot did not have the sewer line under the ground at all, which meant if I were to hire those companies, they would have been digging all over my basement.  

Once the crew rotted line clear, camera to locate the issues, each started digging and replacing the broken pieces. They were very careful handling my sewer line as those were made of clay; they replaced the broken pieces with SCH40 and made significant improvements.  They installed a new opening for rotting.  Oscar also replaced an incorrectly installed kitchen drain line.  By the time he reached the broken line, the replacement line was far more than the initial quote covered, but he completed the job anyway because he wanted to be sure that I could have a functioning line on the same day.  After the job was completed, they installed new cement and even cleaned up all the broken pipes, cements, and dust.  I cannot thank the crew enough for their outstanding work, professionalism, care for the customer and their property.  It was a very pleasant experience.

They also gave 5 year warranty on their work, but I am sure it will last much longer than that.  In addition, they also offered 2 free follow-up maintenance rotting.  The company also offer 18-month financing for those who need it.  Did I mention their pricing was better than the 2 other companies I noted?

Overall, I would highly recommend Capitan rooter to anyone with sewerage problems.  They offer the best combination of quality, value, efficiency, and reliability.

Darrell was excellent. Pleasant, professional and very good at what he does. We were having major issues with our garbage disposal and faucet and he was able to come around and navigate the old flaws the original builders had left to fix our issues quickly and efficiently. He was very upfront about the jobs, giving us quick fix and comprehensive fix options as well as recommending honestly what would be best. Ultimately he was happy to go with what we preferred. He was flexible with his timing and always very communicative, keeping us in the loop at all times. I would highly recommend working with Sims and Sons. I'll definitely use them again.

Chris came exactly on time to fix a clogged drain in our bathroom sink. He did the job quickly and charged a very fair price for his work. I would highly recommend ABV and definitely will use them again.

Good experience overall. Reached out on a Saturday, connected with Dmitri and received two quotes that were dependent on the root cause of the issue (slow draining water) and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday.

Lenny showed up and provided more details on the quotes and was off to work. Within a half hour he called me from my office and walked me through what he did, and showed me the draining issue had been fixed. Quick, reasonable and solid work all around.

Spoke with Mike over the phone and he gave me some DIY advice on some of the trouble I had with my old faucet. Though, I didn't feel comfortable changing the faucet myself as the pipes I had were old, I decided to have him come over and do it. During the process, I was able to watch and he answered all the questions I had about what he was doing and he answered all the general plumbing questions I had. I would highly recommend him as he's very knowledgable and patient.

Had a backed up ejector pump that was causing backups in the furnace runoff...Juan contacted me immediately and first of the projects I set out to bid and happy to see he was highly recommended...he came out in less than 12 hours and was able to address the issue and took great care of installing a new pump that should last much longer than the cheap plastic one that failed.  Really happy with the outcome and no more issues

Wow!Noel is the best!! Got an appointment for the next day...it wasn't an emergency, so that was great! His knowledge, professionalism,work ethics, cleanliness etc, just can't rave enough! He explained everything my project entailed, and how he was going to accomplish it, from looking at the situation, and he was right on! He went to work and , BAM! Done!
