I never thought my first Yelp review would be for a plumber but I can stay silent no more: This guy is awesome. He's responsive, quick to fix any problem we've thrown at him and loyal. And, not only does he fix the problem, but he always tells us why it happened, what we can do in the future to prevent it, and how to fix it ourselves (if we want to). If not, he's always happy to come back out! We won't use anyone else for our plumbing needs, and you shouldn't either.

My go-to for plumbing smart, efficient and reasonably priced by the hour in comparison to other plumbing places I have used.

Brandon was a star. Very professional, communicative, and courteous. The work was completed on time and to perfection. Will definitely contact Brandon again for more projects.

To simply put it, Travis was a wonderful, accommodating professional that provided top notch service. Extremely easy to work with and his easy going attitude made him very approachable when discussing the issues. The service he provided us was well done. Look no further and give him a call. They sell good quality products. I purchased equipment and installed it myself.  I never ended up using them to do the actual work though because they seem a bit overpriced and I found two of their guys to be rude and offensive...to my face.  One of them made a visit to my house for an estimate and seemed easily frustrated and upset that he couldn't find the main sewer line to my house and was upset that I did not know where it was.  On top that, their estimate was WAY over the top.  One of their younger guys is sarcastic know-it-all that will laugh in your face, and that was enough to get me go elsewhere.  

Bottom line...their shop may be full of high quality supplies, but low quality, worthless plumbers.

We had an issue with our sink and there was a leak all over our basement. Although not a super emergency, he came out right away and fixed it. We have not had problems since. Great to have great professionals in our neighborhood who can provide quick, efficient, and affordable services. Support local businesses.

Tom was great we had our two sump pumps go out and he installed our spare sump pump in just a little while for an excellent price. I will definitely use Tom again. He has been one of the most responsive and excellent contractors I have hired on Thumbtack! Definitely call Tom!

A few years ago we were struck by lightening... It blew out electricity and some of our plumbing... Lane owner of Whiting Plumbing, came to the rescue and repaired what needed to be repaired... He was so pleasant and did take such PRIDE IN HIS WORK we decided to upgrade our old plumbing... He made us feel very comfortable and we felt the estimate was pretty REASONABLE for the amount of work that we chose to have done... He returns calls promptly... He has been on time for any appointment made... AND he stands behind his work... Very knowledgeable in his field... VERY PLEASED... * * *

Called Chalmers Plumbing after being completely no-showed by another plumbing company and I couldn't have been happier with my decision.  Dave came right out within a couple hours and was able to replace my broken hot water heater the very next day.  He's professional, courteous, quick to respond, very fairly priced, and stands by his work... everything you could want from a plumbing business.

Paul and Dave came the same day I called. They replaced our primary sump pump and the battery for the backup. I especially appreciated them taking time to explain how it all worked and what the typical lifetime of the equipment was.

So happy with the service we received when faced with an degraded old seal between the tank and toilet bowl. originally said they could arrive the next day, but when the opportunity arose to be there same day, they revised the appointment. I was so thankful. The problem was immediately diagnosed. You should definitely give them the opportunity to help you.

The business owner is very clearly very knowledgeable

He performed several complex repairs in about 4 hours (this was next day!)

Cut into wall (necessary) and repiped an external spigot
Dismounted, cleaned under, and resealed and mounted a toilet
Repiped 2 sinks

My house's original piping is designed like a circus show and Jason really saved my Bacon!

This is the first time using this company and the service was great!!  Called in the  morning and Mr. Travis was here by early afternoon. He is professional and knowledgeable.  If you're in need of quality plumbing services at a fair price, he's your man.  Would definitely call again.

Karl and his crew helped with me two toilets at my house.  Everyone I worked with was friendly and good at what they do.  They were super fast and did great work.  It turned out that one of the toilets needed to be replaced.  Karl had me go get a new one right away and then sent someone back to my house as soon as I got home to come install it.  I'm really grateful for how easy they were to work with and will definitely use them for any future plumbing projects.

Absolute professionals that deliver phenomenal service. Alex will be my lifetime plumber. He takes the time to educate and is extremely knowledgeable. Prices are always fair and the work is extremely well done. Best plumbing company I have ever worked with. All around A++.

Behind a visit fee is a true face of the company out to rip off people. Even when I gave the detail of the toilet problem: a broken nut of the bolt in one side of the toilet, they can give you an estimate unless you paid for $89 visit fee. When the service person comes in, they give you a $586 or $486 charge (after you scream out the fee). If you want to rip people off, please raise the visit fee because you will need it to cover for bad review. You could have given the estimate over the phone so not to waste people time. I guess nowadays you need that visitation fee to stay afloat.

Don't use these guys unless you want to listen to upsell pitches like you're at a car dealership, and pay WAY more than you need to. I had used these guys several years ago, and they were great, bailing us out after someone else's botched water heater installation. However, things seem to have gone downhill. Last month, I hired them to do 2 things: (1) fix the clogged kitchen sink, and (2) rod the slow-draining bathtub. They fixed the kitchen sink just fine. However, for the bathtub, they said they couldn't fix it because some piece was broken off which blocked their equipment, so it would cost me several thousand dollars to replace all the piping in back of the tub. Well, I got a second opinion from another plumber, and he was able to rod the bathtub for $150, no replacement pipes needed, and nowhere near the several thou Blanton wanted. Meanwhile Blanton had cut 2 giant holes in my drywall behind the tub, to diagnose the issue, and they scratched my floor moving furniture to cut the hole. So now I'm out $3,500 to Blanton for the kitchen sink fix, PLUS the cost to fix my drywall and floor. I reached out to Blanton twice to discuss this; they have not responded in nearly a month. NEVER AGAIN.
