Best Gas Water Heater Repair in Seattle WA
This is my first online review...ever. I am so happy to have found Green Planet Plumbing and Marcus. We had two plumbing companies come out before Marcus and Green Planet, and were charged A LOT of money for misdiagnosed problems and we really don't care attitudes. Marcus and Green Planet DOES CARE. He was committed to finding the problems AND solutions, charged us very reasonable fees, was friendly and professional and a pleasure to work with. We won't go anywhere else from now on. In addition, Jeremiah in the office responded to our requests for service in a timely fashion, sent us reminders and updates, and was all around very communicative and helpful as well. Please...hire these guys. You will be very glad you did! Very sincerely, Jane H. Seattle

Best plumber ever! Was quick and less than his competition. Charged $1,000 less than the closest estimate when a pipe under our slab busted. Installed a dishwasher and toilet for us as well and did an excellent job. Honest to a fault. I'll never use another plumber.

I had a shower that had been leaking for quite awhile. I was finally tired of it and called Maple Valley Plumbing. They were at my house in 30 minutes. The project was bigger then I had expected, but the tech did a great job and kept me posted throughout the process. I will call MV Plumbing the next time I need assistance.

Good value, and *great* communication. Erik did good work for us installing hose spigots. He has been responsive with follow up questions and was able to advise on another situation. Much appreciated, Thanks Erik

I have used Elvis and his team for a few years and they have always done a great job! As a real estate broker, I have referred him to many clients and needed him on various jobs. They are always timely, professional, friendly and reasonably priced! I highly recommend Tech City Plumbing!

Our hot water heater went out on a Sunday, after a few messages back and forth we scheduled a 8AM appointment for the next day for a tankless hot water heater to replace our leaking tank heater. They showed up right on time and we're done in a couple hours. A+ job Will definitely have them do all our plumbing work in the future.

An inspection of our lateral sewer pipes found significant gaps between the pipes in several places, with plant and tree roots getting in and clogging it up. Also, the ~60 year old concrete 'Y' that connected our lateral pipe to our neighbor's lateral line was cracked and needed to be replaced.
Recommendation from several sources was to have the pipes lined. Our neighbors had recently had their lateral line repaired, and spoke very highly of Price Busters. Price Busters gave us a significantly better quote than the estimates we got from other plumbers; and they were obviously very experienced with sewer pipe lining when they gave us the estimate.
The work was very well done, including the excavation and the clean-up work afterwards (they left the place in our yard where they had to dig looking great -- you couldn't tell anything had been excavated if you hadn't seen the work done.)
Price Busters has specialists for each job; Beau and Mike did the excavation, fill-in and clean-up; James, Jeff and 2 others did the actual lining job (in 2 phases). All the Price Busters plumbers we met were very polite and informative, and were very good about keeping socially distant and wearing masks due to the pandemic. There were a couple of minor communication issues, but with that many guys working on the project, things like that are bound to happen.
We're very satisfied with the work Price Busters did, and the price; and we would definitely recommend them, particularly for this kind of work.
Included is a picture of the finished work, before they filled in the excavation hole -- new 'Y' connection, and a new sewer clean out (the pipe going up to the surface.)

I couldn't be happier with Aros and his son, Joe. I'm so grateful they were available. I didn't even have to call and worry about leaving messages or whether someone would get back to me, because they have an online scheduling app that works great. So we just picked the date and time that worked for us and selected the service we needed.
In our case, our garbage disposal went completely on the fritz. The installation was not easy, but that wasn't their fault! Our old house was previously owned by a family infamous along our block for all manner of hair-brained repairs and cheap-o add-ons, all of it not to code and vaguely dangerous. This isn't the first time we've had a repair person come in and say, What the heck were they thinking? when they looked into a problem. But that didn't stop Aros and his son, they were undaunted. They not only installed a new disposal, but also fixed two leaking pipes, and repaired a hose that had been installed wrong by the old owners. I was so impressed!
I was concerned that after all that extra work, the bill might be a little alarming. But, it wasn't at all, it was very reasonable, and I'm very happy to recommend them! Our old house has a lot of plumbing, and I'm reassured to know that the next time we need a plumber, I have the number of a company I trust.

Excellent. Our sump appeared to be flooding. They confirmed that there was no broken pipe. They were responsive and efficient.

Blake Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend. Aaron contacted me promptly, asked questions to understand the problem, gave me a quote, and then resolved the problem shortly after arrival for less than he quoted. He explained exactly what he was doing as it was happening because I was interested, how our plumbing was configured, why his proposed solution was the best option. Awesome.

We had to have our drain system replaced. After a few quotes we felt Jose offered the best value -- he was very thorough in his quote and offered a competitive price. He was also responsive and timely in his communication and delivery of services. Our drains work great and we have much more peace of mind knowing this project is done, and done well. Highly recommend.

Had a water leak between the meter & the house. Phil & crew were most helpful in figuring out where it was, providing good advice for prudent choices along the way & just great customer service in general. Ended up getting the pipe replaced. The work was done with minimal disruption, on time & within budget. I would hire them again.

I want to have a long-term relationship with Wezee's Plumbing. As soon as I called and spoke with Louise, I knew I'd be in good hands. Both she and Zach were friendly and accommodating every step of the way and, most importantly, they really seem to know their stuff. And, because I was calling from Portland about a home that I still own in Seattle, they really could've taken advantage of me because I wasn't on-site when the work was done. But they didn't. They're fair and trustworthy and really easy to work with.
I'm not sure if I'll have any more plumbing needs anytime soon, but I know who I'll be calling when I do!

We recently bought a home and noticed that the bath water in the upstairs master bath was slightly discolored, so we reached out to Otter Plumbing to see if they could pinpoint the issue. Working with Shane, he was able to diagnosis the problem pretty much over the phone with the help of some pictures of the water. His knowledge of the issue was spot on, the water heater, which was confirmed when Otter was able to come over the next day for a service call. They were very professional and arrived right on time for our agreed appointment. They confirmed the water heater was the issue and were able to quote us a very reasonable rate for a replacement compared to other companies we had looked at. The installation process was quick and the company did a fantastic job in verifying that the new water heater fixed the issue, and that we were satisfied with the quality of work. They cleaned up the area, better than when they started the job, and made sure all the old equipment was removed. All in all, we would defiantly use Shane and his team at Otter Plumbing again, and would recommend them to others.

Hey, I like these guys. Small bathtub leak, not a big deal but plenty annoying. A contractor friend recommended them and he was right as he often is. Called, phone answer by a person, promptly scheduled within a few days, came when they said they would, spent time really checking out the problem and they fixed it. Sounds easy but a off again/on again leak can be hard to assess- they nailed it. Got a thank you note and 30 day warrantee - comes with a fridge magnet, nice since given the quality of the service, the price and our 100 year old house it's likely that we will be needed them again.

Fixed my dishwasher on the same day that I called.
Very friendly and helped me understand the issue, prior to fixing it.
I'm so happy that I found Ace.

I'll be the first to say that I'm not familiar with the going rate for plumbing work...I'm quickly learning. I had a new kitchen countertop and sink installed and none of the existing plumbing matched up. I spent a couple of hours doing my best to figure it out. I mean I took it apart I should be able to put it back together, right? Wrong. So I broke down and called Mr. Rooter.
The good: The customer service is the main reason I gave them 3 stars. The women I dealt with on the phone and the plumber that came to do the estimate were incredibly pleasant and helpful.
The bad: I thought that this would be a fairly easy job for an experienced plumber...connecting the sink drainage. The estimate was $300+. Ok, fair enough, I'm finding out...that's the price of plumbing apparently.
The ugly: I thought well since they're going to be here I might as well have them install the new faucet as well. Simple task, but since someone was going to be under there anyway I would just have them do it...so I asked for that to be included in the estimate. Holy crap...$342 to install a faucet...a faucet!
When they come to give you the estimate, they tell you the estimate, the schedule you...then email the estimate. When I got the itemized estimate and saw they were charging me $342, I called and cancelled the appointment on principle. I feel like $342 is an exorbitant amount to install a kitchen faucet.
In the end, I took 10-15 minutes and installed to faucet myself...and am still looking for someone for the remainder of the work. So to me clear, I still can't use my kitchen sink, but in my mind my principles are intact.

My water heater broke and flooded the garage the night before Thanksgiving. I called and got many quotes. Vortex gave me a call back right away. They had the best price and they had the availability to come out on Thanksgiving morning. They didn't charge me extra for the holiday. They did a professional job. The new water heater was installed well and works great.

The developer of our townhome botched the installation of our hydronic heating system, and for the past few years, we've been struggling to find someone who could actually fix the system so that it would reliably provide hot water and heat to all rooms in the townhome unit. We called dozens of contractors who claimed to have experience with hydronic systems, but none of them could ever fix the system, even after multiple attempts. Many of the contractors never returned our calls; some of them looked at the system and decided they didn't want to take the job; and a few of them made helpful tweaks here and there but never actually fixed the system. Finally, after years of practically begging contractors to come take our money, Todd Alldred came out and truly fixed the system -- in one visit. Our tenants are now enjoying showers that are actually hot rather than lukewarm and wall heaters that actually heat the rooms upstairs. After working with so many other contractors, Todd stands out as the smartest and most qualified to work on hydronic systems. He's also a good communicator. Highly recommended.

When the plumbers came out to our house they did not communicate the issues that can be involved with snaking a home with the septic tank. They broke the inlet baffle and when asked to either fix the problem or pay for another company to fix it they were extremely rude and uncooperative. They would not return the phone call initially until we complained to the BBB then they were so concerned about the slander of their name that the owner called us yelling at us for actually posting a complaint. A business should know that when they do not return phone calls or when they do shotty business that people will complain. They refuse to fix the damage they caused and now we will not be able to sell the house unless we shell out $1500.00 to have the issue fixed. I suggest never using this company.
