Believe me, there are not enough words to express my thanks and appreciation provided by JV Plumbing during my recent home sale!  

I was dinged by the buyer's inspector on a water-flow issue with one of my shower handles. Naturally I took it upon myself to try and correct, however, once I hit a road-block I reached out to JV Plumbing for assistance & service.  Knowing my short timeline, Jose immediately responded with suggestions on how to correct.  Discovering that the existing valve was too old without repiping, he offered to stop by to take a look. It was then that he stated that the plumbing was in fact correct and not an issue. Apparently the inspector was unfamiliar with the existing shower handle and likely confused on the water flow. Yet despite the amount of time spent on this ( numerous texts & photos ) he refused compensation!

You won't go wrong reaching out to JV Plumbing for your plumbing needs. After all, look at all of the 5-star reviews! My only wish is that he would set up an office here in Northern Idaho, my new home.

My backyard faucet broke so when I turned the water on, water would gush out of the top of it instead of through the hose. I am very impressed by this plumber. Jose was professional, courteous and was able to fix the faucet on his first visit and very quickly. I've never seen a plumber work so fast. Now, the faucet works like new and he charged a very reasonable rate. I highly recommend this plumber!

Hugo and Jair showed up this morning to look at an issue with my toilet. They were about 20 min late but they did send a message that they were on their way, which I appreciated. They spent about 15 min checking things out, and fortunately didn't find an issue. They were respectful and honest, and did not do work that didn't need to be done. There was no charge for the visit, so I didn't pay a cent. They recommended replacing the toilet if I continue to have problems. I'm keeping their contact info in case I need their services in the future.

We recently moved into an older home and amongst all the chaos of moving in (and doing so in between Christmas and New Years) we found out we had no hot water. After doing all the tips and tricks on our aged Rinnai water heater, we decided to pull the plug and check for a local contractor.

Long story short: Jose and his team are THE guys to go to, period. Firstly, I appreciate that I was able to text him first and we'd discuss what happened, then he took a couple of hours (same day) to do his research, THEN call me to confirm how he plans to fix our issue, and proceeds from there. Basically because our Rinnai was from '06, a basic swap out would be the best option.

Because of the holidays, I was expecting to get our heater replaced the following week... NOPE! Jose considered our situation as an emergency and put us as his first appointment the day after New Years! That alone was such a surprise AND relief.

He and his colleague / team came in, did the reinstall with a new exhaust (they had to stop midway to go all the way back to their warehouse to pick it up and back to our house, bless them), and finished within the hour. On top of their work, they are very polite and always break down what they've done from start to finish as to keep us a part of the repairing process.

What a way to start 2023 and we couldn't be more grateful to JV Plumbing. Will be saving their contact #  and tell all of our family and friends.

I can't say enough good things about this company.  My pilot light went out on my water heater today and I wasn't sure what to do.  He came out within 15 min, fixed it and that was it!  This is my second review for this company!  I highly recommend them!

Our master bathroom shower drain was clogged and Jose was able to come by the next day after contacting him the evening before. Even on his busy schedule, I appreciate that he made time to stop by, plus his pricing was very reasonable. He was very kind, courteous and knowledgeable. He took time to explain the situation and also gave expert advise on the need to replace any old pipes and valves to prevent future flooding. I feel like he's very honest and helpful and I would totally recommend him for any plumbing needs.

He also made improvements to bring my installation up to code and  thoroughly  explained to me the rationale behind each adjustment every time I had a question. He also educated me on proper maintenance and operation of my new water heater so I can prolong it's life.

Looking at the spectacular feedback of this particular plumber / Company. It was a no-brainer they were going to be the first call I made.

Jose personally took the call while he was on another job underneath someone's sink fixing some thing spoke to me for a few minutes and I briefed him on the problem and a few hours later he arrived at my home with a fully stocked service truck with his son with him to assist and fixed the leaky pipe.

I would definitely recommend JV plumbing Jose is awesome super responsive and a good communicator. He showed up when he said he would and was courteous and polite. They diagnosed my toilet clog issue and gave me my options. I chose a newer toilet and he ran and grabbed it at the supply house and installed it quickly and efficiently. Pricing was honest and fair for work. Will be calling him back for anything plumbing related at my home.

We had a leak due to old plastic push to shut valve. Jose was to the point to replace them with metal quarter turn valves. He provided a reasonable quote. He was communicative, punctual and efficient. We identified additional plumbing needs when he was here and he stayed late to help us with them all. I highly recommend him.

Jose is more than five stars.  He responded quickly, arrived on time got the job done at a very fair price.  This is the second time I have called upon him for a plumbing need.   The first time we had a massive leak flooding our main level down into the basement.  He saved the day!  Expertly stopped the leak and fixed our situation from further damage.  This guy is a gem because he is an expert, a good communicator, great work ethic,  pleasant to work with and charges reasonable fees.  Not only that he is a darn nice guy.  Highly recommend!

Most folks wanted to come in and take an initial look in person, but JV was able to diagnose the leak and come up with a quote through text. I appreciated that.

On the day of repair, we found out that the repair didn't require anyone to drill a hole into the wall, so the fix ended up being easier than originally intended. We got a slight discount because of it, and while the final price ended up being pricey for the short time that it took to repair, it was a lot cheaper than what other plumbers were quoting.

We hired Jose because our toilet bowl was leaking, and he ended up replacing a few worn seals and our broken valve. He was quick, efficient, and thoughtful - and a really good price ($225 for all time & materials, including the new valve and cord and seals). This is the second time we have called him and we plan to use him for all plumbing issues going forward.

We discovered a leak in our pressure reducer valve over the weekend, and we wanted to get the repair started quickly since we were not sure how emergent our situation was. We had one of the big name plumbers come out to take a look and they quoted us an exorbitant amount for just a replacement of the PRV itself.

We declined and proceeded to seek more bids. That's where JV plumbing came in! I found him via Yelp's recommendation and contacted him right away. He responded within the hour asking me to send pictures of everything along with other details. Jose will communicate with you beforehand to diagnose situations and figure out what the issue is without the ridiculous fees that other places charge. Right away, I knew I found our forever plumber.

Jose is knowledgeable, friendly, communicative, and extremely thorough. We ended up going with his recommendation to replace a couple other things in addition to the PRV, which in the end saved us from a horrendous, worst case scenario that would have happened had we gone with any other plumber. And the best part? He did it for LESS than what all the other places quoted us!

Our potential nightmare situation was resolved within a day thanks to how flexible Jose is with scheduling. Unsurprisingly he is very busy, but he truly goes above and beyond to help customers and to make sure the work he does prevents issues down the line to save you money and time. Finding a trustworthy, honest plumber is not an easy feat, but we feel so grateful we found JV plumbing!

I normally don't spend time to leave reviews, but JV Plumbing provided such good service, I just had to leave this review.  

Jose came out to my home to provide a quote for a Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) replacement.  The original PRV was located under ground by the street, which was hard to access and service.  Jose Installed the new PRV in my garage which was easy to access for service and pressure adjustments.  While installing the new PRV, he also installed (at no extra charge) new shutoff valves for the main line entering the house and one for the outside faucet which can now be closed to keep the pipe from freezing in cold weather.  Jose was great on communications and a pleasure to work with.  I will definitely be calling him for projects I have later this year.

I needed a plumber for my bathroom remodeling project. After some bad experiences with big name companies like beacon plumbing and rotoroter, I went to yelp to find a local contractor. After reading reviews, I gave JV Plumbing a call. I'm so glad I did.  Jose was very professional throughout the entire project. His rates were fantastic and his workmanship was exceptional. I took the remodel project on myself so I naturally had questions and didn't want to make his job harder. He was always communicative and always responded politely and respectfully and even took the time to compliment my work. JV Plumbing far exceeded my expectations as a Plumbing contractor from his service to his rates.  This is a business who is focused on the customer and not his bottom line.

We needed some plumbing moved as part of a larger kitchen counter replacement project. Our regular guy was out of town and we were on a timeline, so I got in touch with Jose. I texted a couple pictures and he said he could make it happen. This was all during a time of power outages due to a recent storm, but he kept in touch with me via text about when he could come. He arrived on time, and did great work. A plus is that he had his sons with him so they could learn the business too.  He did a great job, moved the necessary pipes, replaced a leaky water shutoff, and even recommended a couple of other improvements we could make in the future, but nothing that needed to be done immediately. We will certainly reach out to him again for future plumbing needs.

I had a frost-free pipe burst this winter.  It was an outside garden hose spigot that connected inside the home in our dining room.  I had already opened the wall up to give access to the connection point, so I just needed a plumber to remove the old hose bib and connect a new one.

Jose contacted me right away after I posted the job on YELP.  I liked his attitude and how he understood the job that needed to be done.  He came out within a few days and showed up prepared to fix it.  Which he did.

His price was fair; the work was good; and he was courteous and professional.  I will definitely use him again the next time I have a plumbing need.  Highly recommended.

Jose and his son responded and arrived to our house in under 30 min to inspect a leak in our basement. They quickly determine the problem and had replaced the pipe. Jose was communicative and and thorough in his work. We will definitely be using Jose in the future for other plumbing projects.

We had an old water heater (close to 20 years old) that was due for replacement. Our recent experience with a furnace replacement and a large commercial plumbing contractor in the area (you see their ads on TV) left us wanting to find a proper local plumber. The big guys were horribly expensive, big on the high pressure upsell (you know it's going to be bad when they send a sales consultant before the job), unreliable scheduling and slap-dash install.

So we poked around and found a number of local plumbers. I researched reviews and photos of installs, noting if they were installing quality components or the big box crap. And we took a shot with JV.

I reached out to Jose and he got back to me immediately. Understood my issue, what I wanted, and made clear recommendations. He didn't try to turn a simple water heater replacement into a heat pump install or replacing all my pipe with copper like the big guys do.

I told Jose there was no hurry, this was simply something on my honey-do list, but he was out the next day to look at the situation before he gave me a quote (another positive sign, he actually investigated the job and what was needed).

And they had an open slot in their schedule for the next day. Showed up on time, did an excellent job, and pointed out where the previous heater install had problems and corrected them.

Jose was crystal clear on what he recommended, what it would cost, and did exactly what he promised he said he would do. Can you ask for more than that?

What JV Plumbing ISN'T? Unskilled labor that takes the garbage toilet you bought at Lowe's and slaps it in with the same level of work you'd get from the neighbor who does it after the game and a few beers. It's top-notch professional plumbing work at an honest price.

We're likely going to be selling our house later this year and now I've got a high quality water heater, installed TO CODE. One big item off my honey-do list.

We bought a house and the toilet in our upstairs guest bathroom had a crack in the tank, so we figured it was time to replace it. They came out on schedule and got us up and running within the hour. All my questions were answered and they were very professional. I would absolutely recommend JV Plumbing!

We discovered a leak in a supply line which required us to turn the water off to the entire house. Placed a call to JV and Jose got back to us very quickly and said he would be out within a couple of hours. BTW, we called another plumber and never even received a return call!
  Jose and Blanca arrived sooner than anticipated. The leak was in an awkward spot in a narrow crawl space but was quickly and efficiently repaired at an extremely affordable price!

I had a leaking hose faucet outside. I reached out to JV plumbing and sent some photos of they were working with. They assessed the issue and we're quick to come out. They did a great job installing a new water shut off, frost free hose bib and water pressure sensor.

We had an old pipe that leaked and when it wasn't an emergency we were looking around for plumbers. Jose was the first one replied to us at Friday 8pm. After comparing between some bigger companies we feel Jose and his team, perhaps not with the fanciest equipment, is the only one who cares about our small business so we have decided to go with him. And suddenly the leak escalated to a burst and we had to shut off our water completely and moved out of the house for the weekend. Jose shared our urgency and rearranged for us to get the pipes replaced as soon as possible, sending people working on Sunday for the prepping, so that we could have water on Monday. We really appreciate his responsiveness, communication, flexible and quick scheduling and the job was well done.

I cannot say enough things about the plumbing work that José and his staff performed on my cabin near Index.  I had been in contact with several plumbers, including one who agreed to do the job, never showed up, nor returned any messages.

Jose simply is a saint! The hot water heater in our rental unit (which is 200 miles from away). Disintegrated, flooding every room in the house- 2 inches standing water in the bathroom, the entryway- actually pouring into the parking lot.
We called numerous plumbers, they either couldn't get there in a timely manner or cost a fortune.
Jose contacted me immediately, went to the unit almost immediately.
Not only had the tank rusted out at the bottom but the shut off valve had rusted out as well. He made a special trip from the condo to hi office and back to replace the valve. The only way to make the repair was to turn the water to the building shut off.
Which with a not so pleasant property manager, was no easy feet.
The upshot is. In LESS than three hours, he had brought my disaster under control. Once the major restoration of the unit He Will be putting the water heater in!!
Amazing that this kind of above and beyond service still exists!!!

Outstanding. We had a little job, replace 2 sink drain baskets in our kitchen sink. Jose had a job that needed to wait so he got right to us. He needed to re-use the existing baskets because they were low profile. Re-using them allowed him to save the existing trap arm and p-trap pipes. It saved us the cost of 2 sink drain baskets and piping alteration.

I had used plumber's putty like all the YT videos say, and as I'd done years ago. He knew to use silicone instead, which I'd wondered about but didn't try. He knew the gaskets supplied (by the Chinese manufacturer) were too big and replaced them with extra gaskets he didn't use on other jobs. This is where a stocked service truck and a knowledgeable plumber is invaluable. I knew the gaskets were too big but wrongly assumed the manufacturer designed them that way for a reason.

They were clean, friendly, efficient, and it doesn't leak! Plus, they wore masks which is crucial during Omicron and considering my wife has cancer.

Jose with JV Llumbing was great. Responded right away to my request for information and was able to get something on the schedule a few days out. Arrived in the time window we agreed on and got our new faucet installed without issues. Forgot to ask for an invoice when he was at our home, so I texted after he left and he got one to me almost immediately.

I don't know how long it should take to replace a faucet, so I can't really comment on the amount of time the work took to finish. Seemed reasonable to me. I would definitely use JV Plumbing again if I needed assistance with another replacement/repair.

We had a leaky drain pipe leaking into our basement.  First plumber we had over had no idea where pipe was.  Jose found the leak right away and also spotted another water pipe that was about to go.  He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us outstanding service for a reasonable price. Learning the hard way about home ownership. Just a month or so into our new place we had a small leak from a pipe. Upon further inspection we were told by several plumbing companies that we would need a full re-piping of our house. JV plumbing was among the most affordable quotes we received, but probably more important was Jose's communication and enthusiasm. He described his plans to not only replace our pipes, but create a better system, and didn't talk down to us. Despite some unforeseen challenges, the work was completed on time at the original cost estimate.  We've already recommended JV Plumbing to some family and friends, but they deserve a positive Yelp review as well.  Great customer service, quality work, and fair pricing. I don't think you can ask for much more.

Our garbage disposal kept shorting the fuse and needed to be replaced. Jose (owner) responded quickly and arrived the same day to help replace the garbage disposal unit. He was knowledgeable, friendly, COVID-safe (wore a mask), gave us good tips, and explained what may have been causing the old unit to fail in great detail. Overall it was a great experience with his work and professionalism.

They came out to repipe all the water lines in my house. I got a few quotes from some other plumber services that had a bunch more reviews at the time. But after I met the owner, I had a feeling that he knew exactly what he needed to do. I went with JV Plumbing and I'm so glad that I did! His team is super professional, focused, and organized. They tidied up after they did the job and everything worked great. I would totally use their services again and recommend to anyone!

José helped diagnose and fix a leak in my pipe. He was very responsive, knowledgable, and reasonably priced. I had a large plumbing company come out to look at the same issue and they quoted $800 for replacing a section of pipe, José charged $175 for the same replacement. I will definitely contact José next time I'm in need of plumbing services.

In less than an hour, Jose responded and we scheduled a diagnostics visit for the same day. He replaced our water pressure regulator and the water heater. I can't believe how fast and how well he handled the whole process and fixed our issue! From start to finish, everything was so smooth and professional. When we had our heat pump installed last month, the HVAC guys noticed we had a large amount of water accumulating in the crawl space under our house. They thought that we had some leaking pipes. JV Plumbing was very responsive and came out quickly to assess the damage. Although none of our pipes were leaking, poor site drainage was causing ground water to pool and percolate in our crawl space. As it tried to evaporate, it was condensing on our ductwork, pipes, and insulation. Jose Velasquez proposed installing a sump pump to solve the problem. He returned a few days later to install the sump pump and replace our old, water heater which was a full year past its useful life and starting to fail. When the electrician that JV Plumbing recommended came out to connect the sump pump to a permanent electrical outlet a week later, the water was all gone. The new water heater is also working very well. We highly recommend this company for its excellent service and competitive prices.

Our toilet flooded on a Saturday night. JV plumbing answered their phone and was there within 2 hours. So responsive and reliable! I called a handful of other places and no one was available. So lucky to have found JV plumbing!

Jose and JV Plumbing did a great job fixing our plumbing issues.  He tackled a failed shower valve and then re-established water to our house by fixing a split pipe after our winter storm.  He fixed the pipe the correct way that gave it longevity, not a bandaid fix just to get us going.  Jose was extremely communicative, timely, and took extra care to ensure we had water running effectively after the repairs.  He invoiced quickly, and asked for all relevant information to make that possible.  Jose's plumbing business and professionalism are important to our community, and I will definitely use his services again.
