I have used Bonafide Plumbing several times now for various plumbing jobs in my old Victorian home. Eddie is a professional--very kind and easy to work with. I recommend Bonafide to my friends and family without hesitation.

I had a tub drain leak and 27-7 was the first out of four plumbers I got estimates. Their estimate was three times higher than I ended paying and they were the only company that requested a fee for the estimate. When I asked (by phone and email) for a break down of labor and parts and price per hour they did not respond. They got their quick $65 from me just to come out, and they deposited my check at my home on their ipad.
When looking for a plumber I suggest getting several quotes, and you should not have to pay for them.

Needed a bathroom fan replaced. It was an old fan that needed drywall work too on demolition. Right handyman did a solid, clean job. He was patient and took care of the details well including wiring up and placement of the fan. The drywall work was clean. Looking forward to hiring them again for a few more handy projects

Sal is terrific - we had a suspected drain leak and thought it was relatively non-emergency so scheduled an appointment 3 days out. The next day we realized it was more likely to be a sewer line clog so called him back and he was able to fit us in that day. Eddie was the gentleman who made the service call and indeed we needed a rooter and caught it just in time. We'll be calling Thumbs Up first for any new plumbing needs!

We were extremely grateful to have Eddie's services when we started experiencing a main line back up that was redirecting all the water to flood our basement floor through the toilet (it was a nightmare). Ace plumbing sent Eddie to our house within 2 hrs of me making the call on a Sunday night. I appreciated how methodical and communicative Eddie was about each next step that needed to be taken. He was also extremely patient, polite and professional so we are thankful & satisfied customers!

I contacted Bellows to come do a Home Inspection and they were able to get someone in right away! Jose came and was knowledgeable and efficient. He put my client's worries at ease and we'll definitely be asking them to come back and make the suggested repairs. Bellows is now my go to Plumbing Service in Marin!

I had a backed up sink (as in, overflowing all over my kitchen--I live in a condo on the bottom floor) on New Year's Eve. I called 6 places, left messages, a few had availability on NY Day. Not only did Mario actually answer my call, but he said he could be at my home in 20-30 minutes! He was reasonably priced (for a holiday, after hours), really polite, friendly, etc. He made a preventative recommendation and helped me to understand the drainage system. I highly recommend him--he had worked previously for a larger company that my employer does a lot of business with so I felt comfortable with his level of expertise. He'll be my first call every time (although I hope I won't need to call him again soon).

I'm grateful to have Eco Smart reroof my house during the pandemic. Considerate and communicative, Erast always puts on a mask when talking to me after I mentioned my spouse has immune system issues. Emails, texts, phone calls are answered very promptly.
Erast takes your concerns to heart e.g. he protected our fragile, leak-prone courtyard deck-over-living-space during reroofing.
In addition, Eco Smart is the only roofer to propose adding needed slope to our flat roof. Thank you Eco Smart!

Nothing was fixed and lost $225 for the visit. Never got my discount for their first missed appt either. Not the greatest.

I've worked with Mark for the last 5 years. He is one of the most professional folks in the business. We have had him work on multiple projects from residential to commercial.
I'd strongly recommend him for large or small scale projects. He is a true pro.

Just used Bell Plumbing for the first time. I really liked their web experience of uploading my photos beforehand. They were on time, extremely clear on the pricing, and did a great job. I will definitely use them again and recommend them.

If you need an outstanding plumber, have Johnny do the job. He replaced a segment of sewer line that had become clogged up with tree roots. First, he showed up right on time for the estimate. He was meticulous in his measurements and did not charge me to use the camera in the line (the previous plumber tried to charge me $200 for that!). He found out that only 11' of pipe needed to be replaced whereas the other plumber wanted to replace 15'.
Next, he showed up right on time to do the work. The work required hauling equipment and materials up and down 3 long flights of stairs outside the house--he and his co-worker did this cheerfully and without complaint. He let me know when they were going for lunch and to pick up materials, minimized the amount of time when I had to shut off the water, and showed me the work and materials as the job progressed to be sure I approved before it all got buried again under the dirt. When it was all done, everything was back in perfect order--the stairs he had to remove were replaced with screws instead of nails (thank you!), the dirt was back in its place, all the old pipes and joints were hauled off, and the entire area swept up and pristine.
Johnny is a true professional--he is knowledgeable, honest, easy to work with, takes good care of your property and the areas around the work he is doing, friendly, and all around fantastic. He walked me through his recommendations and clearly explained the reasons for the decisions. Oh and did I mention that the price was very reasonable??
I put off having this work done because I couldn't find a decent plumber. If I had known sooner about Johnny, I would have done it a few years ago! I highly recommend him. I will not use any other plumbers in the future.

Marco is extremely professional and does things right. He installed a dishwasher in our old house that needed a lot of special attention (Best Buy wouldn't even touch the job). Highly recommend!

10 STARS! After contacting two other plumbing companies to fix a pin hole in my copper piping, and after two totally insane estimates, Echo was my last resort before I tackled it myself. Chris and Miguel were very professional and as I predicted, fixed my issue in 15 minutes. Pricing was much easier to swallow plus it kept me from filling up my SWEAR jar so early in 2022. Thanks again....will tag you as my go-to plumbing service.

I love the Yelp quotes tool. It's so easy to send out a note to 6 of the top rated companies and then wait for people to call you back.
1 minute after I sent out the request, Noor called me back. He was extremely professional and polite on the phone, and quickly scheduled time to come take a look for us around our availability.
Our appointment is scheduled for tomorrow. I'll update more, but for now, Noor gets 5 stars in my books!

We use Fast Response for a variety of plumbing needs: snaking a clogged drain, installing our water heater, kitchen sink and toilet.
Dependable and honors appointment times. Competitive rates and service is professional.
We were quoted a ridiculous price to install a new kitchen sink faucet by a family Friend-so I called Fast Response. Dennis not only came out the next day-he was fast and did an excellent job and more than half the price. It's been a year and everything is still great! Will be calling them again to and have referred to my friends who are also pleased with the service.
Needed the bathtub drain snaked and though they were booked, they came out within 24 hours and fixed it quickly...even needed a bigger snake because the last plumber left a rag in the drain!!! Very reasonable rate and great customer service-would definitely use them again.

Since my first review I have scheduled with Sam for multiple jobs at my home for repairs and new installs. He communicates timely and well, which is a bonus given that he is busy. My expectations are realistic and he has exceeded them. Sam does fantastic work and I am glad to have his services available.

Called Todd when my regular guy was busy. He was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. Very Happy and will call him again.

I called, sent a photo of an outdoor pipe I've wanted replaced (it was an eyesore), got a quote within minutes and an appointment in a couple days. They were polite and professional, on time, completed the work beautifully at a reasonable price! I also had them service/flush my on-demand water heaters, and they noticed a cracked pipe that they fixed on the house! Nice to know that I have a responsible, reliable plumber on speed dial!!

If you're looking for opportunistic plumbers to take your money, then these are the guys.
My tankless water heater stopped working yesterday. The water in our neighborhood went out, and the computerized unit shut down. I googled tankless water heater repair and Bragg Plumbing came up, so I called.
The technician I talked with, clearly didn't want to come look at the heater. He went on and on about what a piece of junk the model was and that it should just be replaced. I convinced him to come and look at it anyway which he did today. He claimed to be an expert on the model from years of experience working with them. After fiddling with it for a few minutes, he told me that it was the computer board.
He gave me an estimate of $1,500 to repair the unit, and said it would be two to three weeks to get parts. He recommended I just replace the unit and gave me an estimate of $5,000. I did research and a unit our size can be purchased for less than $1,000. I asked him why so much, and he said that installation parts and labor would add to the cost.
After he left, I called another plumber.
The second plumber came out, opened the front panel, and pressed a hidden reset button. The water heater was fixed in less than one minute! It cost me $65.
I called Bragg again to ask why their expert didn't think to press the reset button. They gave me lame excuses and no apology.
Don't bother with these people. They don't know what they're doing, except trying to get people to pay for unnecessary repairs.
