I don't come here unless I can't get a part anywhere else. Most of the guys are slow and work like union plumbers (no offense). Got 5 guys behind the counter but for some reason its not enough. As a busy plumber i lose money going too pace. Nice guys but they need a differen system. Maybe get extra workers to grab the parts in the back is one step.

Dan and Jose were very flexible and respectful, and did a wonderful job on installing a shower head for my mom. Overall work ethic was great. Quick work and made sure to keep everything clean. Reasonable price and they also gave a great discount. Because I asked for the old shower head back, they even dropped it off at my house later on. Gave great advice on a related issue. Next time we have a plumbing issue, we will definitely use them!

Excellent communication and got the job done efficiently. Jose is skilled with water heater installation and tight space problem solving. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

I used KH and Gooder plumbing for kitchen and bath remodeling. If you are looking for faucets, shower heads, hot water dispensers, hand showers, tubs, toilets, sinks or accessories, you can special order lots of brands here (Kohler, Axor, Grohe, Hansrohe, Delta, Moen, etc). KH is basically a no nonsense plumbing supply warehouse that caters to contractors; there is no showroom and it can be initially intimidating for the small homeowner who knows about as much about plumbing as what's under the hood of their SUV. But fear not, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient, especially if you know what you want. If you want to see displays, visit the Excel, Ferguson, Floorcraft showrooms and browse the web. Get pictures and prices, arrive at KH for a no obligation quote and advice. I can assure you it will be worth your effort if you want to keep costs down. I also recommend Gooder for great prices and friendly service (no showroom) for the consumer, but for one stop shopping for everything a consumer and plumber needs, KH is the spot.

Ron was amazing. He came over for free on really short notice to look at my dishwasher that would not drain, even though he said he doesn't work on them. He gave me some great suggestions on how to solve the problem and prevent it in the future. And didn't charge me one red cent. Although we didn't do any actual business this time, since he gave me such great service AND is right in my neighborhood, he's at the top of my list to call next time I have plumbing needs.

We needed replacement of both our kitchen faucet (with soap dispenser) and bathroom faucet. Rick/Chen responded to my Yelp request very quickly and had the most competitive rate. Because he had great reviews, I decided to go with him. The reviews are accurate! He was willing to come by the same day within a couple hours! I didn't need him that quickly, so we scheduled for the next morning. He kept in contact via text. He replaced both faucets at record speed. Both faucets work perfectly and look beautiful. He also took away my old faucets and removed all boxes/trash. I also asked him to look at a third faucet whose handle no longer works. He tinkered around a bit and then told me that I'll have to replace it. He did not charge me for this. Anyway, when I finally do buy the new faucet, I will definitely be calling Rick again. Excellent work, highly efficient and competitive pricing. It's a no brainer.

Rene and his crew performed a great job replacing our sewer lateral to receive the 20-year certificate for our home from East Bay MUD. California Discount Rooter and plumbing were able to come out on Saturday to give us a quote and he also performed a quick check of the integrity of the pipe using a camera. He gave us two options, one a pressure test for a 7-year certificate and a pipe replacement for the 20-year certificate. Ultimately, we decided on replacing the pipe for our ease of mind for the next 20 years. The California Discount Rooter was able to replace the pipe and have it inspected by EBMUD in half a day within the same week of getting the quote.

These guys arrived on time and very professional. They came and fixed the problem. I was really happy with their work and so was my mother-in-law. That matters the most. I like fixing things, but I am glad I deferred to these guys. Knowing when to ask for help. Cheuk and Tim many thanks...great job. I do not see many father/son combo anymore.
I will definitely refer other friends in your direction. Good news travel fast.

Finding a reliable, talented handyman is not easy. Norm is a real find. He is very professional, comes up with great ideas for tricky issues around your house and best of all, is reliable and finishes the work when he says he is going to. If you need to get some projects done, Norm is the guy.

This company surprised me in all regards and I'd say hands down the best plumbing company you can choose in the area.
I had my whole sewer line to be replaced. Not an easy job by all means. It required permits, big machinery and even traffic control. I did thorough price comparison and the name indeed speaks for itself (contrary what some are saying here): Their offer was BY LARGE MARGIN the most attractive one. They even have a we will match the price if you find anything less policy but I am pretty sure they rarely have to honor it.
Nearly too good to be true so I was initially a bit wary. However:
- Every interaction I had with Adan was super friendly and professional from the beginning on
- Adan explained everything thoroughly
- Before the work started he explained that there are some risks and what the implications are. I really appreciate that he was open and wanted to make sure that there are no surprises
- Kevin, the owner showed up at the site who was also very nice.
- The workers were very friendly and nice to chat with.
On the first day, I saw that they dropped some concrete on the drive way and also some dirt hit the wall. I just though oh, well .... But I was very positively surprised that they left the site spotless! The wall was cleaned, the concrete scraped from the drive way and everything else neat as before. Especially this minor thing is not something that I take for granted.
During the work I was at home and at no point I felt that the work was not done in a solid way. Overall, I felt all workers knew exactly what they were doing and had a lot of routine and experience at it.
I don't know about trivial stuff like de-clogging a bathroom or so but for the real stuff they are the experts. Highly recommended without reservation.

Tom is a great plumber. Very experienced and very knowledgeable. He has been doing work for me for many years and it is always done correctly and on time. His employees are also very nice and knowledgeable. The house is always picked up and clean after they are finished.
I would highly recommend Thomas Friel Plumbing.

Last month I hired Ideal Rooter and Plumbing to install a new toilet in my condo. Communication with Johan, the owner, was a pleasure. He gave me an estimate over the phone, he showed up on time, completed the job quickly and stuck to his quote. I was impressed with his courtesy and professionalism, especially since I had contacted two other plumbers for estimates who disappointed with both their estimates, their communication style and their lack of professionalism. I highly recommend Ideal Rooter and Plumbing if you're in the North Peninsula area.

Adam, the manager of Discount Plumbing, gave me a call to follow up on this. He apologized and wanted to send another plumber out to demonstrate that they aren't all representative of Efrain, the offending plumber. However, I rejected any resolve as they were given priority over any other plumbers to take on the project to begin with.
I did appreciate Adam's attempt to resolve this. My thoughts? You employee and their work represent you already. The good, and the bad. Your status quo shouldn't have that much discrepancy in the first place.
Don't throw away your shot that was given to you.
Best wishes to you-- I just won't be a customer of yours.

We had a leak underground and Marco responded the fastest and fixed the pipe. He was polite, professional and I've already referred him to family for their plumbing issues. Highly recommend

We've used Mr. Wu several times over the years, usually to snake the drains. He does it for about $150 depending on the issue. Last visit was $130.
He also came by for a minor problem - didn't need to do anything, gave his recommendation and charged only $20 for the visit!
Reasonable cost for no frills residential plumbing. Communication could be an issue over the phone.
This family (business) are hard workers, gotta respect that.
Not always prompt which is why I rated 4 instead of 5.

They have come to my home on two separate occasions to help me find a leak. They came on time and did help me find the leak that was causing my high water bills.

$150 to do an estimate.
Update: Lev felt I was unfair and called me to tell me as much. He said he never said it was $150 to do an estimate, but it's his service fee for coming to my house and figuring out what the problem is.
Perhaps, yelpers, you understand the difference. I do not. I told him as much, however he wouldn't let me talk and kept talking over me (he didn't, however, yell so I give him credit for that.) At some point he said you don't go to a lawyer and expect it to be free, you don't go to a doctor and expect it to be free.
Well actually yes, when I go to a lawyer, I do expect a consultation to be free, I don't expect the work to be free, but I expect for the lawyer to tell me what will be involved in the work and an estimate of how much that work will cost me.
Anyway, as he wouldn't allow me to ask him the difference between what an estimate is and what coming out and figuring out the problem is and I told him if he didn't let me talk I'd hang up. He didn't, so I did.
Since I know he is reading this, I invite him to give me the answer as a response to this review. What is the difference between and estimate and coming over to figure out what the problem is. Why is one free (the estimate) and the other costs $150. Since I couldn't have this conversation with you civilly on the phone, I am more than willing to have it here.
