Great work but lacking conflict management and communication skills. These guys were my go-to plumbers for which lasted a few jobs, which were all done to my satisfaction. The last job they did, however, led to a dramatic altercation. When I was concerned about the work they did, we had some schedule conflicts, so the owner, Casey, agreed to check out a video of the problem. He never responded. I believe he thought what I was reporting was unrelated so he disregarded it, but with no communication.
A week later, the problem I had asked about led to an emergency. Fumes filled our rental and emergency service was called. The emergency tech was suspicious of the work they had done and said it was probably sewer fumes.
When I contacted Casey directly -- pretty angry about the lack of response on his part -- his response was totally unprofessional. He wouldn't acknowledge his promise to get back to me about the video. He disagreed with everything I said, was super defensive and childish, instead of just saying they'll get to the bottom of it. In the end, they came out and verified their work and cleared their name... But the unprofessionalism along the way was very unnecessary, unhelpful.

My double sink with garbage disposal was draining very slow and I couldn't get it working. I disassembled the pipes and cleaned it all out and still no lick, the issue was beyond the wall. I looked these guys up and chose them because of the good reviews and i has a great experience. They arrived a little early and were very efficient and polite. They did a great job communicating the issue and charged a fair price. I'll be calling on them again if I have a plumbing need in the future. Two thumbs up!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company upcharges, lies about the price of parts and to top it off, they are rude to their customers. Even the assistant with the installer was embarrassed. I moved on and found a company who is kind and charges about $400 less...

I was referred to Pro Heating & Cooling by my home builder, who also contracts them for furnace installations; I also received a door-tag advertisement from them. Very straightforward and honest service with a rate which is difficult to beat (at least in the off-season); while their selection for A/C systems may not have been as fancy as several competitors whom I also consulted, their product was of more than comparable quality. It was their simple and direct approach that appealed to me the most. It was a pleasure doing business with both Samuel and Martin, from the consultation and estimate to clarifying questions, as well as professional A/C installation service. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Just sent another referral to West Side Drain. They have been very helpful (and honest.) Love these guys!

Paul was great and made effort in getting to my issue prompt. However, i was not satisfied with my plumber.
The technician found the problem in my leak quickly (10 min) yet it took 2 hours to complete what appeared to be a simple fix. I'm indicating simple due to the fact that the plumber came in and out of my house 10 times for parts and pieces. An efficient and experienced plumber would know what he needed when realizing the issue, then get what he needed and complete the job. He then proceeded to take 3 trips to gather the tools from my house , when it should have been completed when job was done. My front door opened 10+ times with a lot of back and forth.  
Too bad my normal plumber was booked out on jobs and couldn't help me in a leak that i thought needed addressed right away, in which maybe could have waited for better service. I would really know your referral before scheduling an appointment.

Had my furnace diagnosed efficiently and effectively by Josh and Steve. Not only were they on time, they were early. They answered all questions without talking above/below my head. They were very polite and professional.

I have an older furnace and they quickly tracked down a replacement circuit board for it and had it installed in short order. Not only did they complete the task needed, but identified a couple of areas where efficiency could be improved by sealing with tape...and they then took care of that too.

Loved that he showed up on time, gave us the amount that he was going to charge and the amount of time he was going to be for the amount charged. I apologize for forgetting his name. He quickly asked verifying questions, did multiple tests, and ultimately found the leak. He found the leak within an hour, did a couple of tests and pinpointed it. We had a plumber come out and the leak was exactly where he pointed it out at. I definitely would recommend for quick, easy, and fair service.

Stephen was on time our our appointment, friendly, honest, helpful with advice, up front with everything and easy to work with and pay. Some people might call that a general expectation, but it's more rare than you think. I hope I don't have to use his services again, but that's a reflection of the circumstances, not the business. I will absolutely hire them again if necessary.

Labor Day and my kitchen sink  was clogged and my washing machine kept spilling water in the garage. I called around and no one was open. I left several messages and finally I heard from Beau!!  He promised to come out later that day. I couldn't believe it!! He came explained the problem fixed it all and was as friendly as could be. I  was so happy to write a check for his services but I remembered the wrong amount and he said NO THAT'S TOO MUCH!  Imagine that!  I was so impressed  that i volunteered  on the spot to write a review for him. I didn't have time that day doing dishes and washing clothes etc so I planned on the next day. Next day came and the Holiday Farm WIldfire started in Mckenzie River area. My brother had to evacuate and barely escaped with his life. Needless to say we have been busy following the news of the fire there and dodging the smoke here in POrtland. I tell you all this because I want all to know despite all the problems we have been going through I  didn't want to forget to write this review. Beau did a great job, was honest and friendly and came out when no one else would! So if you need help think of Beau!!

So my mother's has homeserve warranty service. There was a leak in our basement, they recommended Happys but when they came out look at the leak, due to a rainy day they assume the water leak was from rainwater.

2 weeks later we still have a leak so we decided to get a second opinion from another company to test the system and see if there was a leak in 20 Minutes they found the leak at the main line coming in from the city.

Today I called happy 's and ask what type of testing was conducted, I was told that it was only a visual test because they dont have the machine for leakage testing. So the plumber just walked in collected the payment for a quick job. Very unprofessional, an inaccurate analysis for the work completed.  

I wouldn't recommend them for leakage detection but they aren't fully to blame. the warranty company is partially to blame for not finding a contractor with the adequate equipment for such a task.

It was freezing, the heater wasn't working, and although not promised, Roth was able to come out same day - YAY!! Bummer was, however, that on day 2 our tech was sick, and we never got a call from the office letting us know it would be another day 'till we got heat. Boo. Husband was furious, but the office was completely apologetic and I know that they had to have been swamped as it was super cold outside and that's when heaters break. Day three, we had the tech at our door at 8 am, and a few hours later, heat! I would totally use them again.

Spoke to Khoi about my needs 2 weeks ago. He was pleasant enough on the phone and offered some intermediate suggestions. He stated that he would call me back the following day to arrange an appointment to do the work; I heard back. Sorry but that is completely unprofessional, inconsiderate not to mention rude. My time is just as important. Go elsewhere.

when I told my contractor friend that I was planning to build my own shower pan for my upcoming bathroom remodel she gave me Bills number and a strong recommendation that I give him a call. I am so glad that I did!

Bill showed up when he said that he would, gave me a good estimate that he stuck to, and went above and beyond to make sure my custom pan was perfect. He put a lot of thought into his work and was a great communicator. He also made sure to communicate with my plumber so there were no conflicts.

I would absolutely recommend Bill for any shower pan, no matter how complicated. He made mine absolutely perfect.

Jorge with Manroot Landscape installed  irrigation, sod and patio pavers for us.  It was done timely and within his quoted timeframe along with a very competitive bid.   Jorge was very easy to work with and answered all our questions. Our backyard looks great!

They did a fantastic job on my sewer line!! They also have amazing water filtration!!

No one wants to call a plumber.  Ever.  If you do have to call one, please do yourself a favor and call these guys.  Every time we've had to call, the person on the other line was friendly and helpful.  The team members show up ON TIME (whut!?), fix the problem, give us tips on what we can do to prevent it from happening again and charge us a reasonable amount.  We love them.  

Seriously, don't bother calling elsewhere.

They did a great job cementing a new mailbox and post for me. They arrived on time and finished the work in a timely manner. We had good communication ahead of time so there were no issues of misunderstanding each other. I felt the price was a little high but will probably use them again for jobs in the future.
