I contracted with this Realistic Plumbing Inc to install a new sewer, water and gas line to a new adu, ensuring that he would do a professional job, make sure he left the place level and safe. I also inquired about safety measures while the work was to be performed and he assured me that he would cover the trench with boards and putting up fencing to ensure no one fell inside as it was directly in front of the entry way. None of which did he do. He merely put up an orange web fence in front of part of the entry and the Ac unit and then My contractor two of my boards over the part of the trench that was directly in front of the door leaving the other 50 feet merely covered with a black plastic with no safety precautions to prevent someone from falling in the trench.
It has been over 2 months ago and they still have not completed the job and left a muddy unsafe mess of a sink hole. I already paid them almost all of the contract price (discovered the remaining balance is less than the cost of the material to finish the job). They left an open trench without proper safety precautions and then covered
The trenches before it passed the gas and water city inspection for the lines. He never returned to finish the job of running the pipe for the gas line and connecting it to the meter or rerunning the water line that kinked during the install. Then when I sent him notice that I would hire another company to finish the job and file a CCB complaint to settle the difference, since I already overpaid him, he sent me a letter from what looks like a prepaid legal service trying to get me to agree to settle and call it even, stating that he can charge me additional sums of money. The line has yet to be finished and other than the letter I have not received a response from the company in weeks. Roger the owner is difficult to deal with and rarely returns phone calls or text messages. He is very unprofessional and misleadingly dishonest. Never follows through and no showed over 5 times.

The home warranty company sent them when our hot water heater broke and they were very helpful and kind! Always on time wand actually they were 10 minutes early to our diagnosis appointment! Everyone we dealt with was so nice!! Theresa even made sure we could get our water heater all taken care of before we left for a long vacation. Thanks!!! David and James both came to fix the issue and both were knowledgeable and professional. I would totally use this company again, but I hope I don't have too!! :)

Axiom got my job done quickly and correctly. My home water main burst, and I hired them to drill in a new one. The soil conditions and other challenges made the job very difficult. Their team ended up working 16 hours straight to get my water back on. It was surreal to see them still having a good attitude at midnight after such a long day. Every person on the job was friendly, respectful, professional, and hard-working. Obviously I am impressed with their service, and would definitely hire them again in the future. Thanks Axiom for giving it 110% for my family to have running water again!

Hans is fantastic! He's worked on a bunch of the plumbing problems here. He does good work, has reasonable prices and arrives on time. Can't beat that!

I called this business about a clogged sink problem, and Mark got back to me when he was available the same day. Then he showed up and fixed it quickly and professionally. The other places where I left a message didn't even bother returning my call.

Doug was amazing! Very responsive, quick, and easy to work with. His prices are significantly lower than his competition and he was available right away.
He explained everything that he was doing in detail and is extremely nice. He did a great job installing a new water heater, and was in and out in a flash! We will be calling him again, if needed.

We had a simple but important job...a very clogged bathroom sink set in an old-fashion porcelain sink and stand. The pipes were very hard to get at and the space was small. David not only cleared out the clog but fix another plumbers mistake to ensure no leaking. He did it all very professionally, clean, and quickly. His prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend David at Evertrust Plumbing and he will be my plumber from here on.
Thanks so much David.

Sewer Renewal Specialists did an excellent job repairing the sewer line from our NE Portland home to the street. Part of the line was replaced and the rest was repaired with a liner. The price was good (very competitive), all workers were very professional and did an excellent job. Some additional work was required and they quickly came back out and took care of it.

I highly recommend this business. Steve is a true professional. Several times he has worked on several complex projects on my property and has done a reliably fantastic job, on schedule, and at good price.

Awesome experience with Dan from Portland Plumbing. So glad I found them here on Yelp. Was a little concerned with the only rating being from 2014, so I thought I'd add a more recent one. Super easy communication, very transparent in what he's doing and how things are being priced. Flexible scheduling. Would work with again for sure.

After getting an estimate from a big plumbing company, who proved to be pirates, I was given a recommendation to call Diligent Plumbing.

Allen is awesome. He fit me in on a Sunday pm to an already jam packed schedule, and cleared out a tough drain clog. He was thorough, patient, tidy and 100% professional. I will hire him again in a heartbeat. You should too.

Dan was phenomenal. Our house was built on a slab, with no basement or crawl space, so the repipe was quite a challenge as everything had to be routed through the walls and attic. We were prepared for a lot of wall demolition, but Dan was able to find clever ways to cut into the wall behind cabinets and other hidden places that made it barely noticeable. He was also able to get a contractor to bore a new pipe from the water main right into an existing hole in our bedroom closet, so there was no need to dig up the yard, sidewalk or street. Dan was responsive, friendly, flexible, calm, and resourceful, always more than willing to change the project to meet our wants and needs. And the entire project ended up costing about half of what we had been expecting. I would highly recommend Dan/River City Plumbing for any and all of your plumbing needs. He's a joy to work with.

Price gouging contractor. They sent out a Journeyman Plumber for 8 hours work roughing in a shower and bathtub drain. Plumber did a fine job. The cost including payroll taxes for the plumber is $100 (+ or - $5) per hour, so $800 for the day. They charged $2827.00 for the job.
I most certainly will never use this contractor again.

When I called them in 2012 I was happy with them. I needed an outside hose bib replaced, and they did it quickly for about $85. I was pleased, and the young service man was polite and friendly.
When I called them recently to replace a broken kitchen faucet, I was shocked when they came out and quoted me $500 for which I am guessing was 45 minutes worth of work... filling 4 holes in a kitchen sink with a faucet, it's handle, a soap dispenser, and a simple hot water unit. I could not bring myself to pay someone $500 for less than an hour of work. I'm no plumber but it took me less than two hours after watching a youtube video.
I was angry this morning when I received a bill in the mail for $65 dollars. I was never told there would be an evaluation fee when I spoke with them on the phone. And they performed no work other than the two minutes it took to tell me that they wanted to charge me $500 to fill 4 holes in my sink. $500 an hour is what I expect to pay a surgeon, not a plumber.

I decided to ignore the reviews about lack of cleanliness, and that was a huge mistake. We had the galvanized plumbing replaced with new pipes, which required sheetrock removal. He did not cover or mask anything in the two rooms, resulting in sheetrock dust everywhere. Had we known he would be so careless, we would have masked ourselves-- or hired someone else. We brought up our shop vac to clean up after him. Then the worst part-- he left part of the plumbing open upstairs while turning the water back on, which flooded both offices. We were just outside and when we came in, he told us he had taken care of it by using our shop vac to suck up some of the water. I found water soaked into the rugs, under couches, everything was wet. We started pulling things out of the house to dry them out, he made no effort to help.
When we went to pull down the light fixture to do the drywall repair, it was full of water. Additional water damage was caused to ceiling sheet rock that took about a week to work its way down to the lower floor, might have been trapped in the light fixture.
Overall, I would advise against using them for a large project.

Poorly skilled technician and worst customer service. When I inquired about Nest thermostat installation, they said they have technicians that have experiences with Nest thermostat. The first technician flat out said he never worked on Nest thermostat. Reading a manual, he installed it. It stopped working 2 hours after he left. They sent another technician, and he also said he has no experience with Nest thermostat. He could not get it to work. The business development manager told that he wants to make it right, and if he had to come out and install it himself, he would do it. Never happened. I called to follow up and left a voice message. Never called me back. They send me a bill for the 1st installation claiming they deserve the charge because it was working for 2 hours. WOW. They take money from customers for poor quality work. They take no pride in their work nor business.
