Justin was great! We had a kitchen sink issue come up on a Friday night and they had Justin here by 9am on a Saturday morning. He was friendly, efficient, and gave us tons of helpful advice for preventing this from happening again. I would highly recommend West Side Drain!

Were here exactly when they said when I contacted them this morning about a clogged and overflowing downspout.  Did a quick and professional job and even ran the jet a bit down the rain drain that runs out to the street to make sure no problems there.  Am very pleased and will recommend West Side Drain to anyone who needs this type of service!

I was very impressed with the level of service I received in hiring West Side Drain to clear out a clogged rain drain on my property. I got an appointment within the same week I called and the person I spoke with seemed very knowledgeable over the phone. When they came out, the problem was identified very quickly and resolved on the first visit. I was careful informed about pricing and at the end of the visit he went over where all my gutter drains connect for future reference. I was very happy with the price and all the work done. I would absolutely recommend this business and would certainly hire them again for any future needs!

Doug from West Side Drain went above and beyond for us today. At first we thought it was a simple clog, but it turned out to be much much more. He eventually found the main cause of the issue, and suggested a few good plumbers to finish the job. Today was a stressful day, but Doug helped us out tremendously. I would highly recommend their service.

We have used these guys before and they were responsive and did a good job. Today Justin was out and because I was on a call and asked him to wait a few minutes he packed up to leave. He ignored me when I tried to apologize that I was on the phone. Very unprofessional guy. I won't use this company again.

I set up an appointment to have septic pumped.  They gave me the option for a riser, which I ultimately decided to do.  They dug up the yard to get to the septic tank, but the incoming water line placement prevented them from adding the riser.  They told me I needed to get the water line moved out of the way, so I had a plumber put in an extension to move the water line out of the way of the riser.  They came back, and said they didn't like the fitting the plumber used, and refused to fill it.  I was told that I needed another fitting, and when I asked 'What do you need to see there,' the only answer was, 'Not that fitting.' It took several weeks to get them to come out and fix the riser, which was not level, and to fill the hole.  Although I offered to take responsibility for the water line if it failed, they wanted a letter from my contractor.  Apparently my authority as a home owner was not enough.  Ultimately, they filled in the hole, but demolished the sod during this process.  They left a bunch of rocks all over the yard, including under a Japanese maple, that I couldn't see, so when mowing ruined the blades on my new mower.  Would not recommend these guys.

My toilet was leaking around the base.  West Side Drain responded quickly to my request for both a sight-unseen diagnosis of the problem and a quote.  The diagnosis turned out to be correct, the cost to correct the problem was reasonable and the work was done in a very timely manner.

The guy who answered the phone today, I think the owner was rude, short and inconsiderate.  I would not recommend.  I quote we can't help you and hung up.

Waking up to a septic alarm is never a good way to start your day! I got online and started looking for a company that could take care of everything from figuring out why the alarm went off to repairing in the first visit.
Greg was onsite before 10:00AM and the pump was repaired and working by noon.
Greg was able to educate me on the why's of needing to have the tank pumped out and I agreed to have them go ahead and pump it.
I was shocked at how full the solids level was in the tank! We were extremely lucky that things weren't ruined by our lack of maintenance. Know we know that this needs to be done every 3-5 years and we will definitely know who to call!
Doug, the owner and Jon were the lucky ones to do the pumping and had a great attitude the whole time.
I kept asking if their masks were working  any better than mine because  smell was making it through mine.

I have a downspout that would go into the piece into the ground and then the piece in the ground would flood over. And then it would stop flooding and then rhythmically flood over again. So clearly I had a problem. With the threat of more rain coming as we are still in February I wanted to take care of it sooner than later before my yard flooded or worse. I called West side drain and talk to Justin. He came out today he was very professional, informative, he listened to me which was really important being a woman a lot of times you don't get heard. Justin found the pipe that was clogged found where it came out at the street as well. He then went out of his way to dig it out the area where the pipe was clogged at the street so there was a flow and recommended that I continue that process so that this doesn't happen in the future. He was soaked and muddy and wet and had to be very cold yet he had a really great attitude and really seem concerned that my problem was solved. Also when I called for a quote they were able to quote me an The bottom line rate on the phone based on the description of my problem. So I had an idea going into it about ish what it may cost.He got all of this done in an hour. I would highly recommend this company. I have dealt with lotta different contractors and I know what I'm talking about and I know when I'm talking to someone who is being truthful with me and Justin and west side the drain are truthful, honest and hard-working you can't go wrong hiring them.

They told us it would cost $600 to pump our septic system.  That seemed sensible and they were very prompt with scheduling.  When they arrived they couldn't find the pump out location, so they left... but not before charging us $315 for a 'truck fee' which is the first we had heard of such a fee.  I feel robbed.

EDIT: The owner called me after the fact and was very kind and reasonable.  Since the $315 wasn't previously agreed on, he is refunding that.  While a little more clarity before hand would have avoided this issue, the resolution was excellent and full of empathy.

Just sent another referral to West Side Drain. They have been very helpful (and honest.) Love these guys!

West Side Drain provided great service for a challenging septic tank. The lid was difficult to reach, but they persevered and limited any damage to the surrounding tile. They performed the work with precision and informed me along the way. I really appreciated their thoroughness and customer service. Well done!

My alarm went on, so I called the phone number on the panel, they were too busy and referred me to another company, this company referred me to west side drain. Quick scheduling and a minimum fee $495. A young man came for over an hour and said everything was fine, for further diagnosis we should connect the panel to the network of the manufacturer. I asked him whether the alarm would ring again. He said this should be fine.
One day later, Thalarm went on again. We called the manufacturer and they said the service company should have device that could connect to the panel for diagnosis, no need to connect to the network to the manufacturer.
So we called another service company, they came and found out that the filter was blocked. They fixed that problem. And the alarm stopped ringing. They only charged half of what west side Drain did.

Update on 10/21, the owner is responsible and contacted me to issue a full refund, so I modified the rating.

I'm a realtor and had a lender require a septic certification just before closing and I was in a bind.  I called West Side Drain and Victor was not only willing to drop everything to help me the same day but was incredibly kind and reassuring.  And his pricing was incredible! I ended up not needing the certification after all and cancelled my appointment but I will certainly be using Victor and his services for any of my future needs as well as recommending him to my clients.  Thank you!

We had a serious back up and they were out quickly and solved the back up in a timely manner. The technician that came out was professional and did a great job. Their price was fair, and actually a lot less than the other companies we called. They did not try to sell us anything extra, and instead came out and did the job we asked them to do. I absolutely recommend them.

Greg worked with my schedule, showed up right on time, and fixed my plugged laundry room drain. Other plumbers were convinced the drain pipe was collapsed and wanted to replace if for several thousand dollars. Greg just went to work unplugging the existing drain. It wasn't easy, but he kept working until the job was done. Very professional service.

Used them again in 2017. Great communication start-to-finish, quick response -- no problems. I thought it was going to cost a fortune and it ended up being a simple problem that was easily resolved. As a long-distance landlord, I really appreciate the honesty since I can't always be present to confirm things in person.

I spoke to Dave, the owner, and he seemed genuinely apologetic. He sent out another employee, Justin, to fix the pipe that had been damage and issued a partial refund for the services mentioned below. Justin was very thorough and spent a considerable amount of time fixing and testing the new pipe and connections he installed. With all the new fittings, including rubber couplings, I am not sure it is as strong as the original pipe, but both Dave and Justin seemed to do their best to resolve a bad situation.

Came out the same day I called.  Was very professional and took my word for what was happening even though I ended up being wrong. We had a good laugh.
