Established in 1995.
Pro Drain & Rooter Service started with one tech (driving a small bright green van) who specialized in drain cleaning. Since that time we have expanded to over a dozen technicians (driving white vans with big green letters and our trademark water drop arrow) who specialize in full service plumbing and drain cleaning services.

Professional response via phone. Technician was able to arrive in a timely manner to unplug a toilet that eventually needed to be dismantled. Good communication regarding how much more it would cost during each step. PPE was worn during this time of COVID. Chris T was professional, communicative, polite, skilled and was able to complete the job in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend and would use PRODRAIN again if needed

I cannot say enough about the prompt, efficient, and reasonable service we received from ProDrain and specifically Mario. Our drains are ancient and access was less than ideal. Mario gave us several options and his opinion. We trusted him and all was well. This was a significant blockage and it is now clear. The cost was reasonable in spite of being after hours.

I had a drain backing up in my basement, and called Rescue Rooter.  Their plumber quoted me a pretty high price, and also started finding all sorts of other problems with my plumbing.  I was already worried about paying for the drain, so this was a big turn off.  I told them I would get back to them, and found Pro Drain from yelp reviews while looking up plumbers close to home.  Their plumbers, Dan and Shane, were very pleasant, tidy, and most importantly competent.  Shane was happy to explain as much of the process as I liked, and left the work area very tidy.  And their charge was less than half of what the other company was going to charge me.  I am impressed that they have chosen to grow their business by the quality of their work and fair pricing, instead of less ethical methods.  I would recommend them to anyone, we need more businesses like this!

Greg was scheduled to come between 11-1 to give me a bid to re-pipe my house.  When he had not shown by 1:30, I called the office.  The young lady was pleasant and concerned about the situation.  She said that she would track Greg down and call me back.  It took about 25 minutes for her to return call.  She said that he had gotten backed-up on a job and could come out in about an hour to talk to me.  This did not meet my schedule as I had already moved appointments around.  She said that he indicated that he was willing to work with me to accommodate my schedule.  I offered two others times this week that would work; neither of those times fit his schedule.

Very unprofessional communication...if you can't make an appointment, call.

ProDrain was a godsend to me in a very bad plumbing situation I just encountered in a century old Portland home.  Not only did they provide good service at affordable rates.  They modeled how a customer-friendly and transparent business should operate.

My tenants came home one night to find backed up plumbing.  Without notifying me, they called a different plumbing company I won't name with hundreds of horrific reviews, including one I just wrote.  That company wanted to charge rates I knew were outrageous and I immediately refused to pay.  Like $649.99 to unclog a floor drain, which my tenants guessed was the problem.  ProDrain actually had unclogged the same drain, for a fraction of the cost, in 2020.  I've hired ProDrain to unclog drains a  number of times and they have always done that successfully, quickly, and affordably.

So I had a situation where I told a scammy and overpriced plumber, No, and understandably frustrated tenants with backed up plumbing.  Not good!

I called ProDrain the following morning at 8 AM.  And their very friendly and knowledgeable receptionist Kay quoted me, at my request,  both an affordable fixed rate for unclogging a floor drain as well as an hourly rate if they needed to snake the main line to the sewer.  The rates were completely transparent, took 30 seconds to disclose, and were about one quarter of what the scammy company wanted to charge the night before to snake the wrong drain.  

ProDrain's friendly plumber Thomas was in the house within a few hours.  I was not there, but what I learned through my tenant is he quickly figured out through some simple tests that the problem was almost certainly a main line clog - not the floor drain.  He didn't waste time, or my money, trying to get me to agree to some outrageous price and sign a predatory contract like the scammer the night before.  He just went to work trying to clear the clog in the line to the street.  His final bill was $295.00, which was reasonable.  And a fraction of the $1500 the scammer wanted to do the same thing the night before.

Unfortunately for me and my tenants, in this case the problem ended up being a failing century old pipe to the street.  Thomas was transparent about that as well, told me everything he could, and gave me some leads to call to get started on a much bigger project beyond the scope of what ProDrain does.  I called him a few times afterwards with a few other questions, and he was very helpful and informative.

Bottom line:  this was the most difficult situation I've faced in 32 years as a property owner.  Now it is fixed, and there are new sewer and water pipes.  ProDrain did everything they could, honestly and affordably, just like they have every other time I hired them to fix much simpler plumbing problems.  Having just dealt the night before with a different plumbing company that seemed to want to use this difficult situation to play gotcha with signed estimates and rip me off for as much as they could, I really appreciated ProDrain's competence, affordability, and integrity.

My tenants, who had to live through this with me at their discomfort and my expense, told me they learned some good lessons from the experience.   I think ProDrain and the other company I ended up hiring to repair the sewer line modeled how customer-friendly and affordable companies do business.  Thanks!

Chris Terrones was the gentleman that helped us. And describing him as a gentleman is totally accurate. For helping with such a dirty job, he was tidy and concerned about leaving things exactly as he found them. I appreciated that I was not left with clean up from his job! (We have all been there!)

ProDrain rocks! Once rain season started, I realized my storm drains just weren't working very well. Asked my neighbors, and they said it would probably cost around $500 to get them cleaned out.  Ugh. So, seeing all of the great Yelp reviews, I called ProDrain at 4pm on Monday, and was able to get an appointment at 11am for the next day.

Dishawn arrived on-time, and was super transparent with what he saw was happening with the drains and with everything he did. He was also very clear about pricing. He figured out why they were clogging, and also gave good tips on future maintenance.  Thanks guys for the help and for saving me a ton of money!

My rain water drain system was clogged and not working.  Austin from Pro Drain came out and not only had them clear in 45 minutes but also identified the 3 trouble spots where the pipes were broken.  He showed me where all the pipes ran and I was able to dig up and fix my pipes by the end of a rare sunny February day in Portland.  Great customer service, up front communication on pricing and reasonable rates.

I called them on q Friday morning and arranged for an after hours appointment to unclog my kitchen sink, at time and a half rate. But shortly after they were able to fit me in that day in their regular hours.  Austen came on time, and did a great job of unplugging a severe stoppage.  He was patient when I asked questions, and was so pleasant, while efficiently working. I can't rate him and the company high enough. I was dreading having a high plumbing bill, but they were very reasonable.

Nothing like a broken pipe for Thanksgiving flooding your basement! Quick and courteous response. Walked through the property to evaluate the problem, all the while explaining what was going on and the plan to repair the problem in this nearly 100 yr old home. I've used Prodrain before and they've done an excellent job each time. Mario disconnected my sink at the main line and used a heavier snake to auger some 40 feet into the line which dislodged any and all obstructions. The job was completed in 45 minutes to my through satisfaction. I'd hire them again in a heart beat. Thanks Mario.

Worst plumbing experience ever. First plumber came out to clear drain. Flooded water from open clear out valve. Left water in basement for me to clean up. Charged $92.00 Had second tech come out with camera. Charged $200 plus. Told me pipe collapse. Hired different plumbing co not only identified collapse but gave online video and lay out of pipe under concrete slab. Called pro drain several times for estimate to dig up concrete slab and repair drains. Never returned call once. Can't recommend them will never call them again.

ProDrain is great. I deal with them, along with almost every other plumbing contractor in the area, regularly in my job. Their techs are always professional, prompt, and prepared. I had never used them personally, but when I had a sink backup at home over the weekend, I gave them a try. The rate was a flat $85 an hour - no call out charge or even a premium for Monday being a holiday. No equipment use fee - NOTHING extra. Mario even replaced a cracked flange washer at no extra charge. I'll never use another rooter service again.

Short story: Fast, courteous, excellent service at a fraction of the prices quoted by others.

Long story: Poured some caustic drain cleaner down my slow-draining tub drain and turned it into a no-draining tub. So I'm without a shower and of course it's Memorial day so I knew I was getting hosed. To Yelp! Another place quoted me almost twice the holiday rate that ProDrain did. Dishawn came over, was polite and courteous. Then he had to go the extra mile and get under my house to get the drain unclogged on my...uhh...vintage plumbing. He even pointed out some work that needs to be done in the near future.

I can say this for sure: If I ever need a drain unclogged in the future, I'm calling ProDrain immediately. I'm going to say they deserve the reviews they receive, what an excellent experience.

Our downstairs kitchen sink developed a clog on a Thursday, and all our efforts to unclog it failed.  Based on the 5-star Yelp reviews for ProDrain, I gave them a call late one Friday afternoon.  The very nice lady on the phone told me that there would be an extra charge for them to come out right away or on the weekend, but I scheduled the appointment for Saturday morning because our upstairs sink is above the downstairs one, so both were unusable.

Dan Armstrong showed up exactly on time, and within an hour had the clog cleared up.  He had to go through a vent to do it, but no matter; he still got it done in record time.  He was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and we were both really impressed with him.

We were charged just what was quoted, which we felt was very reasonable.  I wouldn't hesitate to call ProDrain again; they're the best!

When is there a great time to have your plumbing blow up?? NOT EVER! But especially not on a Saturday, when you have new Airbnb guests arriving, AND you are in the middle of cooking a sit down dinner for 25 close friends and trying to get ready for your holiday party. They were one of the few who responded with an actual price amount in the quote. Most other places just asked me to call. So I appreciated that. Price was super fair and I think his name was Austen who came to fix my slowly draining shower. He was quick, explained what the issue was, and was friendly. I just bought my first house and was super excited to have my first issue that required a pro. (Sarcasm)
I looked through some of the referrals here and decided to call Pro Drain. They were closed on Sunday night but I left a message and got a call first thing in the morning. I called them back at 9 am and they were here within 45 min. Austin was friendly, funny, polite, and he even cleaned his way out of my house on his hands and knees to make sure he didn't leave a drop or mark. He also walked me through what to look for next time in case I wanted to fix my self.  He was literally the nicest service person I have ever encountered. It was $115 bucks well spent.

After spending the weekend getting bids from big name companies for a backed up sewer line, we were incredibly frustrated.  The other companies wouldn't even give us ballpark prices over the phone and when we did get an estimate, it was outrageous.  I had this work done two years prior and it cost less than $150 and these estimates were all at least $350.  So we spent the weekend with no shower, toilets, laundry, etc.  I called ProDrain first thing Monday morning and one of the first things out of her mouth was would you like to hear our prices?. I was so excited.  

They gave us a two hour window in which the tech would arrive THAT DAY (we had waited almost 11 hours for a tech from another company to arrive on the Saturday).  ProDrain arrived 15mins into their window, shook our hands and within 10 mins had assessed the situation and there was a snake in our drain. 30 mins- and only $105.00 later - our sewer line was flowing again, no muss no fuss.  This is actually the second time I've used ProDrain and both experiences were awesome. Cannot recommend enough or give enough stars...these guys are great!

From beginning to end they were responsive and sent a plumber quickly the same day. Job to be clog the kitchen drain was fast and reasonably priced. It was a flat charge and below $200. Some other places quoted $200 just to come out and assess the issue.

I forgot to write this review sooner so it was fresh in my mind. We had a deep intermittent clog in our toilet a couple of months ago. Our property management company called out Prodrain. Chris Terrones was our tech and he was amazing. He was very professional and cleaned up after himself. I don't give reviews unless service was amazingly good, or amazingly bad, because let's face it -- a lot of service is mediocre at best. And I can say wow, this was efficient, professional service! I was offered a same day appointment when my kitchen sink was backing up. This timeslot was from 3 to 5 PM, but Thomas called at 2:15 after finishing his prior job and asked if he could come early.He was very professional, courteous, intelligent, and quickly diagnosed the problem, efficiently fixed it, and I was paying with a credit card before the clock even hit 3 PM.  This completely made my day-- not how I usually feel after a service call!  Thanks Thomas, they are lucky to have you on their team at ProDrain!  I will definitely call you guys again if I need plumbing help.

My storm drain was overflowing, so I called ProDrain, my old standby for drain issues.  I wasn't disappointed.  Thomas Patrick efficiently and effectively removed the tree roots that were clogging the drain.  Once the drain was working again, he went back in and did a more thorough root removal.  Thomas provided capable service with a smile.

We had toilet trouble. Terrible trouble. My feet will probably never be the same. Well, Eric from Pro Drain came over, fixed our troubles (blocked old drain that needed clearing with a machine that's above my toilet pay-grade) and then re-seating and sealing said offending toilet. Nice dude. Showed me what was going on. Prices were very fair. Much appreciated that they didn't try to sell me things we didn't need (like a new toilet).

I now visit that toilet just to behold the power of its newly reinvigorated flush.

Jeff (the plumber) was amazing. He was quick and courteous. If I could have him do my plumbing work without having to deal with their office staff, I would love it.

The office staff was not great. Required multiple follow up calls to get the work done. Didn't return initial inquiry call, didn't call to let us know plumber was running behind, waited days for email confirmation & receipt.

Good place if you don't mind doing a little extra leg work.

We got fast, excellent service from ProDrain!  Our shower started leaking down in the basement. ProDrain had a cool plumber here in a couple of days.  Chris Benson started working right on time and did not stop for 5 hours straight.  He even found a leak in the bath sink I had not detected!  

We checked the shower and bath after Chris left, and everything worked perfectly.

No one wants to call a plumber.  Ever.  If you do have to call one, please do yourself a favor and call these guys.  Every time we've had to call, the person on the other line was friendly and helpful.  The team members show up ON TIME (whut!?), fix the problem, give us tips on what we can do to prevent it from happening again and charge us a reasonable amount.  We love them.  

Seriously, don't bother calling elsewhere.

My husband and I are  very satisfied with their service. Our supply line that goes into the  house broke and it was 6:45am , by 8:00am  we called them and asked if we can have someone  to come and fix  it.   Brian came to our house before noon and replaced the broken parts. He was done in 2 1/2 hrs. The company should be proud of how they run their business. Reasonably priced.  Highly recommended!

We found this service through Yelp and it was great! Our house was serviced by Rick, who solved the problem very efficiently and effectively. We've previously had bad experiences with plumbers in the past (a long time ago) so it was refreshing to receive professional workmanship. Our toilets both clogged on memorial day weekend, we waited to call until the day after Memorial day and got a 3:00 appointment the same day!  They actually  called at noon asking if they could come by earlier, but unfortunately no one was home. The plumber was there at 3pm sharp! In and out and priced EXACTLY as was quoted! I highly recommend ProDrain and have already referred them to a friend with similar plumbing issues!!

Woke up this morning to find three inches of dirty water in my bathtub. Arrrrrrgh! Why does this crap always happen on the weekend? I called the landlord, but of course, no one is answering the phone on a Saturday.

My plumber neighbor recommended ProDrain. I gave them a call and the service technician made it to the house in about an hour. He snaked those pipes lickity-split for the low (weekend) price of $99.

Yay! I was able to take a shower before the stank really started to set in. The tech was friendly, tidy and professional, too. If your drains ain't draining, I highly recommend ProDrain.

Able to come out on short notice (next day) to help with a kitchen drain clog that I couldn't resolve.  Chris was on time (actually bit early, called ahead), courteous, and left the workspace clean.  Would definitely recommend them and use them again.  $115 for next day drain clearing.

I had (or should I say a sink in my bathroom had) a pretty bad blockage.  I tried to snake it myself but was unsuccessful.  Called in ProDrain and Rooter expecting them to need to do something fancy to unblock it.  Turns out there is a knack to using a snake and the plumber (Rob/Ron?) sure had it.  He was in and out in less than half an hour and I was out of pocket less than $100, not including a snake I bought from HD - which I suppose will allow me to get some more practice next time there is a blockage, so I was happy.  Cheers ProDrain!

I have used Pro drain twice in the last three months and could not be more satisfied with the results. the first instance i had an inspection of our sewer pipe. the appointment was made for 2 days out and Mario showed right on time, got on it immediately and took the time to explain everything he was doing in a clear and efficient manner. he was not here any longer than was necessary and when he left i had the peace of mind that everything was in good shape. i got a thumb drive to keep for my records and the whole thing was relatively inexpensive.

the second time i used PRODRAIN i had a clog in my line. i had rented equipment the day before and had not rented a snake that was long enough(only 1oo feet while the line was at least 125 feet plus nine or ten feet down. i called at 8am and had an appointment between 10am and 12pm. Eric showed  at 10am sharp and had everything handled by 11am. again efficient, courteous, and pleasant to deal with. I also feel i got my money's worth.

When you have a great experience with one individual you give that person credit. when you are equally satisfied a second time you know that this must be a company standard. from Andrea on the phone to both Mario and Eric coming out to provide service the whole transaction was seamless.

THANK YOU all three. Plumbers are the last people i ever want to have to call, but  PRODRAIN will always be the first company i will call in the future.

We have used them in the past when it came to home inspections, and we were happy with the service.  Today though, I'm impressed!  This morning we had an emergency.  I was hoping at best they could come out this week, but the dispatcher was able to fit us in same day.  Dishaun was out plumber, and did an awesome job and clearing the drain.  He also noticed that one of our bathroom sinks was slow to drain, so he fixed that too without me even asking!!!!   They're definitely affordable and professional, highly recommend them and their plumber Dishaun!

Excellent company!  Had trouble with a toilet in our new house, the tech spent a very long time (about 3hrs and charged me for 1) trying to determine what was wrong.  He was new to the company and went above and beyond before determining we needed a new toilet.  I was skeptic so called Beaverton Plumbing who came out and in less than 10 mins said we needed a new toilet and charged me $120.00.  I called ProDrain to apologize and they are offering to install our new toilet at a reduced fee!  Everyone there is excellent and very understanding.  HIGHLY recommend and will always call them in the future!

We discovered a hole in our sewer line. ProDrain's estimator checked it out, gave an estimate somewhat lower than the others, and got the estimate to me when he said he would (unlike some others). The repair was scheduled as soon as possible (earlier than others), and the repair team did what seems to be a fine job (I'll let you all know in 5 or 10 years if all is well). The office staff (esp. Rachael) were professional and friendly in our dealings, and always told us what would happen and when. After they left, we discovered some small damage to the sidewalk, from the heavy truck going over it, and they came out and patched it quickly, and with no arguments.  Very good service, timely, and friendly.

I had a clogged storm drain, like everyone else, and they were still able to come out on a few days notice.  That was helpful.  The plumber was very friendly and knowledgable, great to work with.  He snaked the drain quickly and we were all set after about 20 minutes.

The only reason I'm not giving 5-stars is because of payment transaction.  The plumber told me the bill was $130, exactly what I had expected, and took my card to swipe on the ipad credit card reader, then handed it to me for a signature.  I signed it and pressed the green button, boom transaction completed.  On the confirmation page I see that either the plumber or the software automatically added a $26 tip to my bill.  It's great slight of hand, but pretty weak to do.  I didn't like that I wasn't asked about how much to tip, or if I wanted to tip at all, and that the default is 20%.  I felt a little tricked, leaves a bad taste in my mouth.  Maybe they don't pay their people enough, I don't know.

Update:  They refunded the tip on their own after seeing the review.  Top notch service, 5 stars.  Although, I guess now I look like a cheap bastard.  It sounds like tipping is rare though, so I'm just as cheap as everyone else, and I can live with that.

Great service!  Over the phone I was quoted around $245 for a plumber to come out on overtime and clear a clogged pipe and scope it with a camera.  Our plumber, Dan, shows up and instead of just clearing the pipe and leaving, he took the time to really analyze the situation and found out that our sump pump was just stuck. He offered to scope the pipe anyway for our piece of mind. This was overall awesome service! Dan found the real problem and shaved $100 off of the bill by simply taking the time to treat the cause of the problem, not just the symptoms.

Thank you Mario and Lisa. I am a new homeowner and this is my first time getting a plumber. I tried to declog myself but was unable. Utility sink in basement was filling with water when we ran dishwasher or washing machine.

I got a couple quotes and decided to go with ProDrain because they had a flat rate of $95 AND had a cancellation in my area and were able to come right away. Within 45 minutes of calling, Mario came. He knew exactly what to do, was able to explain what was happening and teach me a bit so I could learn for the future since plumbing is new to me.

He was out within 30 minutes and we really appreciate the work and his professionalism and friendliness.

This company was an absolute pleasure to do business with.  I made the appointment online after hours and got a phone call first thing in the morning.  Their guy came out the same afternoon (sadly, forgot to get his name), and snaked two shower drains and a toilet for a grand total of $115.

The worker was on time, efficient, and very polite.  He wore his clean booties throughout the house and was finished the entire job in about 30 minutes.  The process was both quicker and less expensive than any other service we called, and the pipes are now running like a dream.

My husband and I will definitely be calling Pro Drain in the future when we need plumbing help!

For several weeks, our basement sink would flood every time we did laundry and take days to clear. After trying Draino and attempting to snake the drain ourselves without success, a friend referred us to ProDrain. Pro Drain would be the first people I call in the future.  My experience with them was excellent.

I had a blocked sewer.  My sewer system is complex - a pump with a 360 ft. 2-inch PVC line.   All the Pro Drain folks I had contact with were friendly and professional. Mario did the actual work.  He knew what he was doing, had the right equipment, and got my problem solved quickly.  The price they charged me was very reasonable.

Couldn't be happier.  I had a blockage of an outdoor drain that could have flooded the basement if it rained.  I called ProDrain and they scheduled someone for the same afternoon.  The pricing was explicit and clear.  Chris called me less than 2 hours later saying he was running ahead of schedule and was there in 15 minutes.  He obviously knew what he was doing, was extremely polite and efficient.  The clog was gone in about 10 minutes and he answered many questions and explained what he was doing the whole time.  The price was exactly as quoted.  On time, on budget, efficient, friendly and good at what they do.  What more can you ask for?

Tyler showed up today to look at the issue I have had with water in my crawl space.  Ever since last December 2015, when we had the record rain falls here in Oregon, my crawl space has been filling up with water.  I installed a sump pump but I was never satisfied that problem had really been taken care of.  Some of my neighbors suggested that I have the drain looked at which should have been installed in the foundation footing.  It could be clogged or broken.  Tyler pulled out this commercial grade snake and started running up the rain drain pipe from the curb.  After about 10-15 minutes water began gushing out along along with a huge root ball.  Water ran out of the drain for the next hour.....now my crawl space is free of water.  I can't thank Tyler enough.....It would have cost me $5000-$6000 to have someone install a drainage system in my crawl space.  ProDrain only charged my $175.00.  Needless to say, I am doing my Happy Dance right now and planning to take my  wife out to dinner tonight and celebrate.  Thank you Tyler and thank you ProDrain & Rooter Service for solving my water issue!!!

We have never had the need for a plumber until this week. Our basement drain clogged up, we called them first thing in the morning, nice phone etiquette and said they would be here between 2-4pm. They came just before 2pm, were here about 10 minutes, unclogged the clog. The bill was $95 which seemed reasonable considering how bad it could've been. We would call them again if needed.

I can't give them a good enough review. Last week my kids flushed some toys down two toilets. And they came out and removed them. Hooray for ProDrain!  Our drain in the basement was backing up. We snaked it ourselves, it lasted a while, then started backing up again, especially when flushing the toilet (yuck). Found ProDrain on Yelp, gave them a call at 1pm, spoke with a very accommodating receptionist, and Mario arrived at 2:30! He squeezed me in between other jobs. Turned out the problem was a bit more time consuming than first thought, but Mario stuck around and finished the job.

He was professional, polite, and explained what he was doing. He also gave some suggestions as to why the problem occurred, and what we could do to prevent it from happening in the future.  He even answered all of my questions about what it's like being a plumber (what's the grossest thing you've ever had to work on, etc.)

We will definitely call ProDrain again!  Thanks so much!!!  Highly recommended!

I noticed the other day, while cleaning a toilet in the newish home I recently purchased, that right after it's flushed and the tank has finished filling, there's a dribbling sound that lasts several seconds. Fearing a small leak, I had ProDrain come out to look. After some diagnostics, George (owner) determined it was probably just an artifact of my particular model toilet having a substantial drop from spigot outlet onto outlet connector (as shown in manual). He tested his hunch by having me pour water into the bowl, which indeed reproduced the sound. And I'm embarrassed now to admit this, but we then checked another toilet of same make/model upstairs, and though I'd never heard the sound from it before, I could hear it there as well (just not as loud). He charged me for less than an hour of his time, and never had to dismantle anything outside the tank (if it ain't broke don't fix it). I'll definitely call them again if/when I need help!

I had a difficult interaction with ProDrain. I approached them with a bathroom remodel and asked for a bid. ProDrain requested that I email a project summary and parts list. I did this but after a week still had no response of any kind. I called to follow-up and was told that the plumbing manager would get back to me that day to discuss the project. I was never contacted.
While I cannot speak to the technical skills of ProDrain, the lack of professionalism with regard to communication and follow-through makes me believe that they would not meet my standards in any aspect.

Overall the service was fine and the problem resolved HOWEVER.. the man who cleared the drain used the electrical plug dedicated to my HVAC system. He failed to plug the system back in.  Consequently when my system failed to function the following 24 hrs. I called my service company and had to pay $89 to have a person come out point out the problem and plug it in. Unfortunately I had no idea what the problem was or I could have resolved it myself.  Pretty irritating on a 90 degree day.

In the moving-in phase of a condo over several days, the garbage disposal was found to be dysfunctional. A handyman said it needed a new disposal, which I had to buy and he would install during his tight schedule next week.

With water leaking through the pipes to the dishwasher to the kitchen floor the disposal needed attention NOW.

One of the 5-star plumbing companies said it would cost $400. ProDrain gave a price that included one hour for $125 and $133 for a 1/2 horsepower disposal. OK. I needed help NOW!

The plumber Pro-Drain sent could have been raised by my mom. He was ethical. He just took out a hex wrench and loosened the disposal and it works fine. Total cost $105 for his time. I'll call Pro-Drain again if I need plumbing work.

Last Saturday, during the COVID-19 stay-at-home order, sewage-tinged water started bubbling out of the shower drain and water leaked out the bottom of the toilet covering part of the floor of two rooms. We had to wait without use of toilet, shower, sinks, etc. -- until Tuesday morning for the plumber we selected -- not ProDrain -- to come. It was horrific.

When that non-ProDrain plumber was scheduled to arrive after days of waiting, we suddenly a call saying that it sounded like our problem was a type of clog that his company doesn't work on and he wouldn't be coming. Would have been nice if they had told us that when we made the appointment.

We then braced ourselves for another long wait until we could get someone to come out, but after checking a lot of reviews, we decided to try ProDrain, and to our relief they were able to schedule us for the same afternoon, with the possibility of coming earlier if the plumber got done early. Our ProDrain plumber, Chris (CT), did, in fact, come at least an hour early (calling to confirm it was OK  to arrive first). This was quite a difference in treatment from the other company which couldn't be bothered to show up.

Chris arrived wearing mask and gloves for everyone's safety in this pandemic, and was exceptionally professional, efficient, and friendly. And when he was done fixing our problem, the bill from ProDrain was far cheaper than we were worried we were going to get hit with for same-day service during a stay-at-home pandemic. Quite simply, we couldn't have wished for any better treatment from a plumbing company. We were blown away.

Oh my gosh you guys, I can't speak for bigger jobs but if you're dealing with a clogged drain/backed up sink, I'm telling you, don't waste your time calling anyone else. Our bathroom sink had been giving us problems for months. My husband had tried snaking it, we also poured draino down it many times. Our efforts helped a little but eventually it got to where it was completely clogged and the water wouldn't drain at all. Ok, so I called a company that is very well known. My husband thought he saw some advertisement for 99$ to unclog a drain. My first red flag came when I called and she wouldn't give me a quote (not even a rough estimate) over the phone. I thought it was odd since the problem was fairly basic but she said they could be here in an hr and that it's free for them to come out. The guy was on time and friendly but He said it would be 350$ to unclog it. He said don't worry, if there was any issues once he got in there with his camera that It wouldn't be anymore then the 350$. I was shocked at the price and frankly couldn't afford that much so I politely declined his services. Fast forward another week of no bathroom sink and after reading reviews,I decided to call ProDrain. She told me over the phone is would be 115.00$. I said ok is that how much to have you out and then it goes up from there? And she said no. It will just be the 115, unless there's something that is broken or needs replaced. So I scheduled for the following morning. The guy arrived on time. He was super friendly and literally 15 minutes later the clog was removed (gross by the way) and my sink was/is working perfectly. He didn't leave any mess behind and true to the lady's original quote it was 115$. I was lucky cause mine wasn't an emergency but I feel bad for those people who do need it fixed right away. I can imagine many people in bad situations just have the plumber take care of it since he's already out there even though it's much more then they had expected. The original company obviously takes advantage of the situation knowing most people need plumbing issues fixed immediately. Anyways don't make the same mistake I did. Call ProDrain first. They are way more affordable, honest and fixed my sink perfectly.

One word...AWESOME. Called these guys on a Saturday when I discovered a broken pipe under our house. Travis called me back and told me when he would be here and showed up exactly when he said he would. He went straight to work and replaced the pipe. He didn't try to up sell anything that didn't need to be done. He even went out of his way to tighten a loose valve that he noticed had a slight leak, no charge. Travis was very professional and explained everything that he did and was very friendly. I would have no problem recommending this company to any of my family or friends and they will be the first call i make if i ever need plumbing work done in the future. If you want your work done by professionals who won't try to rip you off then this is the only number you will need.

Dan showed up pretty early in the ETA given and was promptly on the job once he understood the source of the draining issues. He used some boot covers when he entered the house and within a few minutes we had a clear drain.  He was very thorough and made sure he got the drains cleared. Wow!!  I came from a horrible experience with plumbers (missed appointments, late by four hours, hugely expensive for basic things) to this amazing company.  Not only were they on time, they were five minutes early!  Mario was very friendly, professional, prompt, quick, and made my toilet's problems easy to understand.

The last plumber I used claimed I needed a whole toilet replacement, but Mario showed me that it wasn't actually necessary (though I chose to do it anyway).  It only took him half an hour to complete and it came in at half the price of what the other guys quoted me.

I am beyond impressed, and will definitely be using them if I need a plumber in the future.  Mario was awesome!

This company is a dream come true! After using another plumber that tooootally ripped me off, pro drain has renewed my faith. Andrea took a lot of time answering ALL my paranoid questions. She gave me a guideline for billing that many other plumbers would not. DebrA worked with my tenants to schedule a time. And Shane, the man, got me all set quickly and even educated me bout plumbing.  He even was cool about a communication error I had made. The best part is that they charged me half of what I paid the last guy, that obviously wAsnt fixed well and then let me know that they guaranteed their work for 30 days. Don't go anywhere else!

Very impressed! We called to have a plumber clear three drains in our home in the morning. We were on the schedule with a window from noon to 2:00 PM the same day. The plumber showed up exactly at noon. We weren't sure if this would be a complex job as our home was built in 1927. All three drains were cleared in 20 minutes. Prompt, efficient and courteous. And, done for a reasonable price. Pro Drain will definitely be our first call for any plumbing issues in our home.

After less than 15 minutes and $105 my in-laws kitchen drain was unclogged. The technician used a 75 foot auger operated by an electric drum. These machines can cost well over $400. I bought a 15 ft hand crank auger, but didn't know how deep the clog was. I'm grateful I was referred to ProDrain by a friend. I called ProDrain on Tuesday, they were available Thursday morning to unclog the drain. The technician also spotted cracked seals on top of the roof and took pictures for us. I am very satisfied with their service.

I've been amazed at the work that has been done by the good people at ProDrain. We went through two other plumbers before we found ProDrain. The other plumbers couldn't figure out why our bathroom smelled but ProDrain had the proper equipment to locate the problem immediately, including a camera to look into drains (one of the other plumbers suggested we buy this type of camera ourselves!). Eric has come to our house for multiple different issues and handled them expertly and professionally each time. He is always thorough, explains things clearly and kindly. We discovered sewage backing up out of a basement floor drain. Called first thing Monday morning and Andrea was able to schedule George (founder) out later that day. The floor drain in our laundry room started backing up late on Christmas night, a textbook example of the timing homeowners typically face with big, smelly plumbing problems. We had used ProDrain several times in the past to clear drains, and had always been impressed with their professionalism and reasonable rates, but the company really outdid themselves this time.

Early on the morning of Saturday the 26th, I called ProDrain's after-hours service and soon got a call back from Eric. Though he was booked for the day, he managed to squeeze me in for an appointment two hours later. When he arrived, he quickly determined that the problem lay with our main sewer line. He carefully explained that the job would run above his initial estimate ($135) and when I told him to go ahead, removed our downstairs toilet (the only way to access the sewer) and efficiently dispatched the blockage. He then replaced the toilet and cleaned up the work area. The entire charge was a very reasonable $188. The only other service I called wanted to charge more than that ($225) simply to unclog the floor drain. I expect they would have charged me at least $500 to clear the sewer line.

Based on my experience, these guys are the best plumbing service in the Portland area by far. No one wants to have to call a plumber, but they give great service at a reasonable cost. I recommend them very highly.

Andrea was ultra polite and efficient to start with when I called could initiate the conversation to set up an appointment. Eric showed up on time as expected and was very personable as well. He explained the situation in detail and exactly where the clog was and what it entailed to clog and proceeded to fix the drain in a fairly short time. He had me check it afterwards before leaving to be sure that I was satisfied and everything was working properly. The are great company at a fair price and I've used them before and will again.

Sean arrived on time.  It was quickly apparent that the clog in our storm drain was close and fixable, but there were issues that needed to be addressed.  Sean had ingenius solutions to all of the issues.  In the end he saved us a lot of time and dollars.  I would not hesitate to call them again nor would I hesitate to recommend them to all.

I am so impressed with ProDrain, I could thank them forever. Lisa made scheduling a breeze, even with a unique situation I was handling for out-of-state owners with a small multi-family unit with two units with multiple toilet issues (basically a nightmare situation). She responded quickly by e-mail, was able to take payment over the phone, which makes it so much easier to handle a crisis like this from out of state.

Once scheduled, I was given a window between 10am-12pm and the technician showed up promptly 10am, and was so efficient that he was out of here by 10:45am and it was a breeze!!! Overall, ProDrain turned into what I thought was a nightmare situation into the most efficient, friendly, cost-friendly, and manageable plumbing. I definitely recommend!

I had a clogged and overflowing drain so I called a plumber that I had used in the past. He said that he wouldn't be able to come over for four days. I called Pro Drain and they had a guy at my house within an hour. He snaked the drain in ten minutes and charged me less than half what the other guy did for the same job. He also showed me how to easily replace the pipe that's causing the trouble. I will call them with any problems in the future.

I had a basement full of sewage. Pro Drain sent out Mario, who coordinated with my tenant to get into the basement and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. There was a slight backup the next day and Mario came out within an hour and fixed it.

I set up an account with Pro Drain so my tenants can call them direct if anything happens in future.

One of the best experiences I've ever had with a service provider. I called a few minutes before they were closing and they squeezed me in for the next day. The woman I spoke to in the office was kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating as hell. She provided me with a lot of information and educated me about what might be causing my problems.

Whelp, apparently the inter-office communication problems have not been fixed over a year later.

Someone definitely needs to be fired here as they have officially lost my business for good. I believe that I have been more then fair in giving them every opportunity to win my business over the years as evidenced by previous reviews here.

After the issues I had in late 2013 in getting them to contact me, they did a great job in being responsive to my multitude of issues through early 2014. I updated my review at that time to reflect this.

In June 2015 we started looking at properties to buy as rental investment properties. As anyone who has gone through this process knows, issues found on the inspection report need to have a quote by a qualified professional before the lender will move forward.

ProDrain was first on my list to call to get a quote for the multitude of plumbing issues I spotted before the inspector's report even came in. Of course, no reply after calling in two days in a row. I didn't follow up a third time because the property fell through for other reasons.

Fast forward to July 2015, we found another property - this one a distressed Victorian that has been made into a small apartment complex with several outbuildings, all of which have plumbing issues. The inspector called out a multitude of issues brought on by years of neglected maintenance and I noted enough other issues that I knew all the plumbing was going to have to be done from scratch.

I call Pro Drain and leave a voicemail with the scheduling person letting them know that I need some quotes ASAP for the property I am purchasing as it was essentially a short sale and had to be closed within 30 days. I email them via the address that was previously a good contact from my 2014 issues. I wait a couple of days and called again, leaving another voice mail. The guy who worked for them and lives down the street, no longer works for them, so I can't go that route any longer. Not a single reply back.

Since we are on a time crunch, and I literally had days at this point to get quotes in before our offer expires on the property. I started calling other companies to get quotes and found a couple of responsive people to come out and give us quotes on the extensive repairs.

Since then, we have purchased the property and have retained one of the other companies to start working through the $30k+ worth of plumbing issues that were discovered by the inspector. Essentially we are replumbing all nine units, including all new bathrooms and kitchens, both out buildings and replacing everything between the buildings and everything all the way to the street. This work will be spaced out over the next six months.

ProDrain will not be doing any of it.

Our kitchen sink was draining very slowly. I called ProDrain & Rooter Service and they responded within minutes. The only appointment they had was that evening, which meant paying an overtime charge. I decided I wanted it taken care of ASAP and took the appointment. They called back a couple of hours later to tell me they could get to me earlier than planned and there would be no overtime charge. Nice! The technician showed up and did a great job. I don't think it took him more than 15 minutes...very pleasant and professional. ProDrain & Rooter will be my go-to guys for future drain problems.

We recently purchased a home and it seems the previous owners retiled the bathroom (nice), but washed all the equipment in the bathroom sink, which left us with a sink drain almost completely clogged by old grout. I requested a quote through Yelp and they responded very quickly, and helped me get scheduled at a time that worked for me. In the meantime, the garbage disposal backed up as well.
I feel bad that I completely blanked on our guy's name, but he showed up on time, was unfazed by my two friendly dogs, and took care of the clogged drains. He was super thorough and retested the drains to make sure he got all of it. And then he cleaned up the gross sinks! Hopefully I won't need to call them again, but will definitely do so if I have any more plumbing issues!

Not that pleased.  Plumber diagnosed my problem due to old, corroded pipes.  Okay.  Could possibly change an angle pipe (?) but no guarantee that would help.  Okay.  Then didn't want to go into crawl space to turn off water to my individual unit.  Wanted to turn off water to all 5 units in my block.  No.  This is a condominium.  It it against our rules to do that without giving notice.  (Also didn't remove shoes when entering. )  When I made original contact with the company I was trying to find out if my water heater needed draining and I still don't know after the plumber thought my 20 plus year old water heater was new.  I have had better service with this company in the past.

This is a review for one of those less-than-glamorous housing problems - clogged drains!  Eeeeyuck-even thinking about it, but seriously it's also less than glamorous to have water backed up anywhere in the apartment or house.  

One of my residents' bathtub is clogged and backed up which is also playing hell with her washing machine use.  Called ProDrain this morning and spoke with Lisa, a member of their office staff who does the scheduling.  Delightful person who got me hooked up with an appointment in record time.  She even let me call back with the PO number because I had forgotten to write it up until the second she asked.

My past experiences with ProDrain have been stellar, so I know they will take care of business for me and my resident and get it right.  As my fellow Yelper, Rose E., will tell you it's a feeling beyond relief when you have the pros from ProDrain come out and get the job done.  Their prices are reasonable, their techs are neat and clean and on top of their games, and their trucks are well maintained.  

Call ProDrain and breathe a sigh of relief because the eeeyuck of your drain problem will soon be over and you'll be back to not thinking about drain problems at all in short order.

My kitchen sink and bathtub clogged on Friday night- I tried the usual homeowner methods of drain clearing without any success.  I called Pro drain saturday afternoon based on their Yelp reviews.  Dishawn, the technician actually showed up a little early, while I was running an errand, but I think that was a misunderstanding on my part. He returned promptly, and fixed the problem within a half hour.  He was very professional and courteous.  I would recommend this business, and would call them again.

Fast forward 4 years and our drains backed up again. Pretty sure having the pets we do makes pet hair is an issue when we do laundry. Combine that with a food disposer in the kitchen sink, and it's a perfect storm of stuff we need to be better about...
Called around 930. Given a window of 1-3pm.  Austin  called and came right after 11am!  He worked on the roof( yup, had no idea those pipes were drains!?)  Another successful ProDrain saves our day story!

For some mysterious reason in the days after Thanksgiving, our guest bath toilet became clogged. It was also affecting the washing machine drain and utility sink. I tried my puny homeowner drain snake and quickly realized I needed professional help. I live in Aloha and like working with local companies so I started by calling a company that purports to bust clogs. I was greeting by an answering machine - never a good sign but I left my name and number anyway. After a couple of hours with no call back, I decided to call ProDrain. A human named Andrea answered and in a very professional manner got a technician on the way to my house in less than an hour. I realize that was partially good fortune but it also indicated to me they are well staffed and ready to react quickly.

George appeared on my doorstep at the expected time and immediated sized up the situtation. I liked that he explained the possible options and listened to me as well. The drain clean out was on the other side of the house, so we elected to go in through the roof vent instead. I could tell that getting that snake to where it needed to be was a bit of a black art, as was knowing when he had hit the obstruction. Because you see, there was a solid object in the drain which didn't belong there. Was it a matchbox car? Fisher-price little people? Uncle Roy's missing cell phone? We will never know but plenty of water and reaming pretty much insured it wasn't going to be a problem any more.

The charge? I hesitate to give the exact dollar amount here but let's just say it was far enough south of $200 that I can take the wife out for a nice dinner with the change. We were lucky that the vent approach worked, as removing a toilet would have been more. But it helps when you call the right people in the first place.

We had a plugged washing machine drain.  We could not get it open with a snake.  Called ProDrain based on good Yelp reviews.  They were there within an hour and fixed the problem at a reasonable charge.  The technician was very good - no pushing extra services.  It was nice to get this kind of treatment in a field that tends to be infested with shady operators.

I had a seriously plugged toilet so called my landlord to please get a plumber to my house ASAP.    The company they usually use didn't have any availability until the following day so he called Pro Drain.    One of the guys said he could come that day but it wouldn't be until 4:00-6:00 PM.   Worked fine for me as I had some errands to do.    I returned home at 2:45.   Apparently, the guy from Pro Drain showed up at my landlord's at 2:30!?    He followed me to my unit and seemed highly irritated he had to wait.    To make matters worse, he didn't even call to say he would be VERY earlyl   Uhhhhh, like that's my fault?     He strolled into my house and I attempted to show him the bathroom and explain the situation but he blew me off.    I just left him alone and he was finished about 5-10 minutes later.   He started to actually leave without saying a word but I asked him if he was all done and he stated yes.    I was not happy with his attitude at all and told my landlord.   He said the guy was rude to him too.   I highly doubt Pro Drain will get any more business from our complex!!    Wish I knew his name but he did not exactly introduce himself.   :(

I had ProDrain come out last week to get our bathtub to start draining again.  I had never used their services before.  The appointment window was 2p-4p and by 4:10 I hadn't heard from or seen anyone.  Called the office and they were able to reach the tech who apparently was running late and eventually got to my place at 4:25p.  The fact that no one called to give a heads up was frustrating considering I took time off from my job to be home before 2 because I didn't want to inconvenience them by having to wait around for me.  When the tech did arrive, he didn't offer an apology and when I was paying up I wasn't offered a discount.  The tech was nice enough and the drain is back to working like it should, so I'm happy there; but it would be hard to use their services again or recommend them considering the other factors.

I generally do my own handiwork around the house, including small plumbing issues, but I don't touch gas lines, nor anything in the walls. We had two small items that fit in that category in the old house we just moved into, so I gave ProDrain a call. For the person who is need of a quick fix. My double kitchen sink was clogged backing up into the dishwasher. I found that Pro Drain had the best online reviews. Upon calling I was treated with outstanding customer service. Given a window for their arrival which they showed up promptly on time. The gentlemen was clean in appearance very courteous and straight to business. Fixed my problem in about 15 minutes gave me some tips and general info to avoid future re-occurences. The flat fee of $92 was totally reasonable if not a steal compared to renting or buying the equipment. After trying to clear a couple clogged sink drains on our own, we decided to call in the professionals.  After a quick search on Yelp, we picked ProDrain & Rooter based on the number of stars & great reviews; I have to say, we couldn't be happier!  Reached out to the business via Yelp message at 8a on a Friday morning; within an hour, got a response with clear communication on projected rates, and quickly got scheduled for service later the same day.  Austin showed up right on time, was very professional, friendly and quickly got to work on rooting out the problem after listening to the description of what was going on.  He provided great communication throughout the process and was able to quickly get our sinks unclogged.  Fingers crossed we don't need to call in the professionals again, but if we do, for sure we'll be calling ProDrain!

A clog developed in our kitchen causing a huge leak in our basement. I called Roto Rooter and was told someone would call me shortly to schedule a repair. An hour later I called back and was told that it would be another two hours before someone could even call me! That would have been really good information BEFORE I sat around for an hour waiting for them. Waiting three hours when water is actively leaking in your basement, you have a fussy toddler who wants to get out of the house, your family is in town and waiting on you to make plans, and you can't do any dishes or laundry is just not ideal. So I looked on Yelp and called ProDrain based on the good reviews. They were so nice and easy to talk to and gave me a very reasonable estimate over the phone. They told me right then and there when the tech would arrive. No waiting to schedule! The tech (Mario) then actually called me to ask if he could come earlier and he was at my house within 20 minutes. He fixed the problem in about 10 minutes and charged me exactly what I had been quoted over the phone. He was also very polite and professional. I will absolutely be calling ProDrain for any future needs.

Pro Drain came to my house a couple of days ago and cleared my toilet.  The thing I loved the most was that they were reasonably priced, told me the exact fee over the phone and there were no surprises when they showed up.  It was all very honest and straight forward.  They called to let me know they could arrive early too.  Dishawn was extremely professional and easy to work with.  I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Ended Christmas day with clogged kitchen sink that back up into our laundry room of our 1965 Daylight ranch home. They were so clogged that until Tues, Dec 27 when Pro Drain arrived the water had not receded. With a family of 6 your can image how quick the laundry and dishes are stacking up. I was Kevin's first customer of the day. We have lived in the home for over 20yrs. so showed him in our basement where the pipe can be open to unclog and warned him that water can come pouring out. Well, before he wanted to open that pipe he did try snaking from a roof vent pipe and under the sink and last resort we went down to the basement storage room. Note I had cleared this area out and left 2 large toy buckets to catch the water. He carefully released the head bolt and OMG black sludge shot 10 feet across the room. It looked like the TV show Dirty Jobs. I quickly ran up stair to grab our basket full of old towels to help mop up the mess. Mean while Kevin was covered in sludge but kept his professional composure and offer to help clean up until the end the mess. I was so impressed with his presistence to solve the problem and his professional manner in a bad situation. When all was said and done he had spent probably over 2 1/2 hours at my house and only charged me the price of unclogging one drain. At that point I was expecting a bill 3 times as much. I'd give them a 10 if I could. They arrived a few hours after my phone call to fix my problem and returned  the next day with no charge to resolve another issue that hadn't been solved the first time.  Both technicians were professional and skilled.
Their fee for a visit is not excessive.  Just wish I'd found them years ago.

This is probably the fifth time we have called ProDrain, and we had another great experience.
Christopher showed up right on time and quickly took care of a broken diverter in our tub. We had feared it would involve tearing down tile or busting through a wall, but he was able to keep everything intact and just swap out the damaged component. Left the working area in perfect shape and was a pleasure to work with.
We'll continue to call ProDrain for our plumbing needs.

We had a small plumbing issue and called ProDrain based on their reviews on here after having some not great experiences with other plumbers. They were busy (as almost all service people are these days) and weren't able to get us in right away but called us a few times when they had earlier openings to see if that could work. On the day of appointment our plumber (Chris) showed up early, wearing a mask and got right to work. He provided us with a few options at different price points. Bought a house and needed a bunch of little things done (piping, toilet installs, faucet repairs, etc...) but together it ended up being a good chunk of work. I got a bid from another company but ProDrain came in cheaper and had better reviews.

Very happy that I went with them---they were on time, courteous on the phone and in person, and were quick to respond to my requests.

I would absolutely use them again.

The job ended up coming in at the lower end of their estimate but I think a large part of that had to do with an apprentice coming onsite and taking care of a few minor things off of the plate of the main plumber. The apprentice's hourly rate was more than half that of a regular plumber.

We've had a kitchen sink that has been clogged and acting up for weeks. ProDrain was great! Chris Terrones was responsive on the phone and very informative when here. We had a problem with a toilet that was running water constantly - turning water off to it was all we could manage. Anyway, they were not cheap but a) they were able to get out here quickly b) they were up-front about the cost (including an extra cost because we're a touch out of their normal service area), c) the guy who came out managed to diagnose and fix the problem in under the half hour - including replacing another part that would have been a problem later (he asked before starting; I agreed; it added less than $10 in parts to the cost, so of course!) as it was getting worn.

Honest, straightforward, good service. And yes, they do charge a fee for coming out but it covers the first half-hour - and they were very clear with me about that on the phone. I hope I don't need their services again, but if I do, I'll be happy to call them.

I was very happy with their service. They have good Internal organization. I was really pleased to be able to call the office on the morning of my service and find out exactly how long it would take a worker to get to the home. The Pro who came to the house was prompt and polite. I would definitely use them again.

We called ProDrain for a plumbing project. Clogged bathroom drain. Mario was super prompt and finished our clog project in no time at all. He was very kind and recommended an inexpensive faucet aerator, which runs more smoothly will save water and $$ as well. So, now we have used pro drain for both our exterior and interior needs and cannot recommend them enough!

Tyler just left my house after running a scope down our drain lines all the way to the city pipes. I was able to watch on the monitor and Tyler walked me through the process explaining what I was seeing, my pipes versus my neighbors which tie in together and then go to the street etc. I felt very comfortable his explanation and service.

While I hope I don't need to call them again anytime soon I would in a second if necessary.

Everything about my interaction with this company was wonderful, efficient, friendly and professional. We discovered a clogged kitchen sink on a Sunday, so left a message that afternoon. And got a call back promptly the next morning, just after 8am. Chris T. arrived around noon, and quickly cleared the kitchen sink, and also a slow running bathtub drain. There were a few couplings that needed replacement and he took care of those too. He also took the initiative to contact our downstairs neighbor to be sure our issues didn't affect their unit. After having an un-named local drain company was not able to fully get my problem solved (I had used them 15 years ago), I contacted ProDrain based on their excellent Yelp reviews. Spent time on the phone with Andrea, who was very professional and understanding of my situation - getting the washer drain cleared for my rental house and thus, a happy tenant. She was able to schedule Shane in a 2-hour window of time, not the typical 4-hour. Shane called just as he was leaving his last job that morning letting me know that he was ten minutes away. Nice respect - eh! When he arrived we chatted briefly about the issue, and he had a plan that he shared with me and how it would work. We even discussed the trials and troubles of the previous company, and how he would have addressed it - and not demeaning the previous company. Very professional ! Problem was solved rather quickly and the price for their service was appropriate. Shane is a great asset to this company and would highly recommend using ProDrain.

Called Pro Drain about a clogged kitchen sink. They came by and I thought that it had been fixed but by doing the dinner dishes it started filling up again.
Called them the next morning and they sent him back out by the time I was home from work. Very nice guy said a lot of times if you put pasta in your sink(I do) it expands in the drain and that he probley just punched a hole in it and that by evening it expanded again.anyway fixed it right away and guaranted it for a month.
 Will use them again if I ever have anymore problems.

Dan the Man! I didn't get to meet him while he was here but my husband texted me during the process saying, He's got superior plunging skills.

Yeah, we tried to plunge and unclog our own toilet with many different methods and failed. Dan got our stuff ready in 35 seconds. Well, he did use the plumbers snake first to make sure it wasn't totally blocked beforehand so really it took several minutes.

Either way, thanks to him, we now have access to our fabulous toilet.

ProDrain's technician came to my home 2.5 hours prior to our scheduled appointment, did not call to let me know that he was coming earlier or even call once he was at my home, proceeded to do work at my property anyway, serviced the wrong downspout, grudgingly returned to my home to service the right downspout an hour later than he said he would return, and then explained that doing the work on the correct downspout would be as pointless as the work he did on the wrong downspout earlier in the day but that he would happy to do the work if I wanted him to.  As a returning ProDrain customer who had been assured that all relevant knowledge about my property would be conveyed to this technician, I was disappointed that this person had absolutely no clue about the work we had hired ProDrain to do.  I also was disappointed with his attitude; instead of offering to do work that he knows is pointless, I would expect a good service provider to assess the problem (water pooling around an underground storm drain) offer an array of potential solutions.  All in all, a very disappointing experience from this company.

We had what we thought was a clogged sewer line.  Pro Drain was able to come a few hours after I called and get the clog out very quickly.  I don't remember the man's name who fixed it but he was friendly, quick, and explained what he was doing so we can clear the clog if it happens again (it was not as serious as we feared).  Plus, he was a few minutes early of their 2 hour window! Very satisfied customer and would definitely use them again.

I needed a plumber to drain and move my hot water heater, disconnect a sink and clear a floor drain so I could have other work done on my house. Scheduling was easy because I made the appointment well in advance. Christopher and his apprentice Chris called when they were on their way and showed up on time.  They were pleasant, professional and beyond competent. Both separately noticed some funky plumbing coming down from my kitchen. They also noticed another funky situation with the sink they were disconnecting -- both funky situations had to do with a P trap which I know nothing about. They did their work efficiently and were on their way.

They were scheduled to come back a few days later to get the hot water heater hooked up again after my project was done. Turns out my project got aborted, so I called to see if someone could come back sooner. Turns out Christopher finished a job early and saved me from extra days of cold showers. In addition, Christopher noticed the contractors I had worked with got debris and cement in the floor drain he had just unclogged the day before. So he chiseled out the cement and removed the debris and got that drain going again. He also fixed the two funky P trap issues I had going on, and helped me test a downspout outside. He gave me some practical and much needed advice about how I could fix my storm drain, and all around was great to work with. The world needs more Christopher's Chris's and Companies like ProDrain.

I called a few places before deciding to go with ProDrain. Their rates are fantastic, better than a lot of other places I called, especially since we were getting our service done after hours. It was a sink clog, and I had already exhausted my options at home (taking apart the sink underneath, cleaning those PVC pipes, and using a home declogger).

I was happy they could fit me in same day two days before Thanksgiving (going the weekend without a kitchen sink was going to be awful for us). The staff member who answered the phone was polite, and only said exactly what she had to (some people may define this as curt, but it was fine for scheduling purposes).

The plumber showed up within the first hour of the two hour window. It took him less than a half an hour to do everything. He even mopped the floor after he was done. Very easy to work with, and I plan on using their plumbing service to fix a leaky pipe in the future.

They sent me the receipt via email a day later in their effort to go paperless, which I appreciate.

So one day a few months ago, my garbage disposal died.
To me, nothing was worse at the moment than the silence coming from my usually obnoxiously loud garbage disposal.  Oh the horror!!!

I'll save you the drama.
I researched quite a bit before contacting ProDrain.  I found the scheduling folks to be quite responsive and courteous.  The guy who came out (of course I can't remember his name which is too bad since he rocked) was just so awesome.  He arrived and without my asking first, he put on shoe cover before entering my house.  He was polite and very pleasant.  Most importantly, he came well-prepared - he had a rag he wiped the water off; he had a bucket he caught the dripping water and he picked up all the garbage and took it with him although i offered my trash can.  He was the dictionary definition of courteous, excellent professional

From the arrival to the completion of the job was about 25min and I purposely waited this long to leave a review to make sure his installation of the new garbage disposal (which I had bought on my own, it turned out to be bigger than the original one the house came with, so I was worried) was indeed as good as it seemed the first day.  Yay!

They deserve a 0!!! Had a big underground leak. Went from 300-500 kwh to be 2576 kwh. They sent a guy to fix it. Continued leaking. They sent 2 boys to fix it. Still leaked. I hired another company and it finally got fixed. I have put in several calls to the company with no return calls. My water bill was outrageous since it did not get fixed the first time around. At this point I am thinking I am going to have to take them to court to get any response on this matter! Save yourself a huge headache and go with someone that will do the job right the first time!!!

I had a leak under my sink that eventually couldn't be contained by a bucket.  I found Pro Drain on yelp and thought that I would give them a try since they had great reviews and an easy system for online scheduling.  Mario showed up and was professional and personable.  He explained exactly what was going on and showed me the crack that was causing the leak.  Within twenty minutes he had switched out the culprit pipe with a functional one and was on his way.  (It should be noted that the price of the replacement piece was not glaringly marked up, probably about what it would have cost at home depot.)  Nice job pro drain.  I will definitely call again when I need a plumber.

AWESOME SERVICE! I thought I was doing my wife a favor by cleaning out the refrigerator and ended up with a blocked sink Kitchen sink. I tried everything to unclog it- plungers, baking soda and vinegar, chemicals, you name it. Nothing worked.

Some friends recommended A plumber, but they didn't do drains. What they did say was people like Roto-Rooter and Pro Drain do stuff like that.

Looked on line and saw ProDrain had a high rating on Yelp, so we made the call. Boy, am I happy we did. They were responsive and let us know our options, overtime tonight (after 5) for a fee or tomorrow at some time. We went for the overtime call.

The technician, Chris Terrones was fantastic and professional. He gave me a courtesy call when he was on his way, was careful with his equipment in my home and got the job done quickly and efficiently! He gave me a few tips on how to prevent this going forward and was on his way. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I highly recommend Chris and the people at ProDrain!

So I called in today and Andrea answered, she was extremely nice. Not a good start to my day with a clogged toilet and flooded bathroom and I couldn't get ahold of my maintenance I would usually use. Just got a blocked sink cleared and a small amount of old chrome pipework replaced with plastic by Mario. The drain clearing was charged a little less than the quoted price and the plastic pipes were fitted for less than I could buy the parts.

Mario phoned and said he could come around earlier than the appointment time if that was OK with me.

Yes, for all you folks looking for a plumbing service that meets their appointment window I really was asked if it was OK to call a little earlier than the appointment time.

The work was done quickly, with great care and attention. The area under the sink was left cleaner then when Mario started work.

Payment accepted by credit card on a swipe block connected to an iPad mini. No screwing around with a check and no trip to an ATM for cash, 21stC convenience.

These guys were awesome. Scheduled same-day service to unblock a kitchen sink. Called at 8:15 a.m., and had an appointment set for 1 to 3 p.m. I got a call around 10 a.m., and was told I could have them come by earlier. Their tech was here around 10:30, and left around 10:45. The appointment was for Monday morning.  The Tech arrived early and got started.  The toilet would clog, fill up, then drain slowly.  He was finished within 10 minutes.  Now the toilet clogs, fills up, drains slowly and leaks.  For about 5 minutes after the tank fills I can hear water running down the drain.  If I new what he did I would undo it.  I'd give them a second chance.

Our water heater was having a pressure release issue causing a steady leak. They were booked out quite a ways BUT that's because they are friendly, efficient, and don't try to sell you on other stuff. Right before Christmas our kitchen sink started backing up. ProDrain was quick to answer our call and get us scheduled for service. Mario was awesome - on time, friendly, quick to diagnose and fix the problem and  provided us some helpful preventative tips and recommendations. I highly recommend them.

Tyler came out a couple of days ago and fixed a clog sink.  A few days later I noticed an issue with the sink. Tyler came out after 5 on a Friday and fixed the issue that had nothing to do with his work previous. Living in our newly bought home for one week and our drain clogs! We have a double sink with garbage disposal on one side. After using the disposal, both sinks immediately filled with water. We let it drain and removed the trap ourselves, but there was no clog there. Chris Terrones was so great, coming to our home around 6 pm - on over time hours - since we could not take off work during the day. He fixed our clog quickly, gave us some helpful hints to keep the drain clear, and everything has worked perfectly since.

I didn't even get to the point where I could get someone to come out and look at my problem because the person I spoke to on the phone completely ran me in circles. She went back and forth between telling me an assessment would cost $115 one minute, and $50 the next. When I tried to get a straight up answer to schedule someone to come out and figure out how much just getting a quote would cost, she couldn't do it. I only wanted someone to look at the problem and provide a quote so that I could make an informed decision about whether or not to use them. Apparently just to do that will cost me, but how much it will cost me is too difficult a question for them to answer. When I called her out on it, she transferred me to someone else who then said I should call someone else. Having worked in the customer service field for almost 20 years, I will never use a company who cannot provide a direct answer to a simple question.  They may be able to get the job done, but if they can't answer simple questions during the initial phone call, I'd rather go with someone else anyway.

I made an appt for 1-3 pm to have a sluggish toilet serviced. I asked the dispatcher to have the service person call if he or she was running late. I took time off from work between those hours and no one had called or arrived by 2:45. I called and a different dispatcher consulted her schedule and told me they had no record of an appointment. I was exasperated and said, Well I made one. Sir, we have nothing scheduled for you. Followed by silence. She didn't offer to rectify the situation. I said, that's frustrating and hung up. I left to return to work and my girlfriend called them again. The original dispatcher came on the phone and said she had forgotten to schedule someone, that she would send someone right over, and that we'd be discounted for the inconvenience.  AFTER the service was finally completed, the serviceman said he didn't know about any discount. We called the dispatcher who had promised the discount and she said her boss told her we can't have one because I had hung up on the other dispatcher.

I wanted the storm drains attached to my gutter down spouts cleared before new gutters were installed.

ProDrain was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and scheduled a technician within one week of contacting them.

Called to get my shower/tub drain cleared. Because it was just an unclogging, they had a technician available the same day. Chris, the technician, came over early - he called ahead though, and was very professional - and got it taken care of in virtually no time. He was also able to identify the problem with the stopper, and though it couldn't be repaired by him, he removed it completely for me. The $115 they charged I think was the going rate before their fee increase (per what the person on the phone told me) but I would definitely recommend their services for simple clogs where retail mechanical solutions no longer adequately clear drains.

So, in all the years of home ownership and life in general, I have never had to call a plumber.  Dumb luck, I guess.  But my ticket was up, and I had a toilet that was just not going to plunge.  Three teenagers, heavy use...it wasn't pretty.  I finally gave up and sought some Yelpers' help to find one - with 38 positive reviews, ProDrain was the call I made - less than two hours ago!  And it's done!  Not only were they friendly, kept things as clean as could be hoped, and fast, they were a few minutes early!  Did I mention I called LESS THAN TWO HOURS AGO?

Our tankless water heater is not working, so we called this company.
It is obvious that they care about their customers because the manager of the plumbing department came out himself to diagnose the problem.
Unfortunately it is worst than anyone thought, so a new water heater is needed.
Of course, we weren't expecting to have to make a large purchase at that time, so we need to wait until we have the finances.
They gave me a few options, and although we could not afford it at the moment, the prices were reasonable.
This company said that as soon as we are ready to move forward that they will order and install the new unit right away.
The manager followed up the following day to see how we were doing and if we had made any decisions.
As soon as we can afford it, we will call them, nobody else.

I had Tyler out to inspect our sewage line on a new house we were buying. He was great. It took us 30 mins just to find the drain as it was buried under a bush. He was really patient and kept looking until it was found. Highly recommend this guys and would use them again.

Our kitchen sink was not draining and our dishes were piling up quickly. After several laborious hours of cleaning the p-pipe and snaking with a 25-ft drain cleaner from Home Depot by my husband with no luck to get to the blockage, we decided it's time to ask a professional for help. ProDrain responded quickly and came out the next day. Chris arrived during the time frame scheduled, brought this big rooter of 75 ft, and fixed our drain within 30 mins! He was also very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions around up-keep. Thank you and we can't wait to not eating on paper plates but have real dishes!

It's New Year's Eve!  So what a relief it was to be able to get our drain problems fixed today -- before Noon.  Shane was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, calm, humorous, clean and tidy.  He sent the snake down the pipe on the roof, so there was absolutely no mess in the kitchen.  I was impressed with the way in which he has been trained.  Lisa, the scheduler, was also very helpful and easy to talk to.  We are so happy that we now have a company to call whenever we have plumbing or drain issues.  Thank you so very much, Pro Drain.  You obviously have all of your ducks in a row and know what you are doing.

I came home late on a Thursday to find water leaking from the ceiling of the dining room. EEKS!
Checking various reviews chose ProDrain, to call on Friday AM. They couldnt get me scheduled till Monday. OK, will shut off water and wait. No sooner did I get to work did they call with a cancel and could be at my place in 30-45min. Cool, left work with my 20min drive got home to find them waiting.
He got right to work in finding where the water was coming from, found I had 2 busted pipes heading upstairs. He apologized before putting holes in wall and ceiling to find the issue. With the wet drywall he was careful to try to get the pieces in the tubs I had collecting the water. Found him quick working and very pleasant. He even swept the floor of the pieces and took the trash with him.
Crossing my fingers I will not need a plumber again(or at least anytime soon), if I do, I'll choose Pro-Drain again.

Another great experience with this company. They had advised us to get new toilets, telling us we would save money by buying them and picking them up ourselves. I have used pro-drain for my apartments in troutdale Oregon. The first few years of using them has been great. I called them yesterday for an emergency service call on a Saturday. I called and left 4 Voicemails for the service tech that was on call to call me. They never did and I had to call Apollo which answered right away. I loved pro drains service but I still have a backed up drain and no one has called me.

Our master bathroom sinks were backed up for a few weeks, so I finally made the call and a tech came out the same day! He was friendly, put on booties to come into the house, fixed the drain in less than 15 minutes, and the cost was incredibly reasonable. We will definitely call them again if the need arises.

Our kitchen sink was clogged to the point draino and a hand held snake couldn't bust through. We called a couple of other places and no one could get a plumber to us until two days out, which is completely unacceptable when u have a toddler.  Dan came out and had our clogged sink fixed in less than 5 min. Never try there service.....These ppl only tell lies...they give you 2 hours of window and when you call them to ask when there person gonna come for work they have no answer and the lady who is answering doesnt have any idea what is going on. She tells that plumber has not done with his first job but he will be there at your place on time.
These ppl are wasting out time and not providing any good service. Worst service i have ever seen and operators are too rude to talk. They will yell at you if you start asking more questions or ask them to justify there answer. And later they threaten you to cancel your appointment.
Either they should close there shop or they should ask someone professional to manage there time slot which they provide to the customers. These ppl are good for nothing.

If there was a sixth star, I'd give it. We got a letter from the water dept saying that our water usage was excessive. If you're like us, you ignore the first letter and curse the bill. When we got a second letter, we decided to actually look into it. The first plumber we called came and said there's a leak in the pipe from our house to the water meter. It sounded like they would have to rip up the entire yard. We asked for an estimate. After waiting a week and not hearing back, we called ProDrain. The plumbing manager Gregg came the next day. He told us this is common with older houses and is a fairly simple fix. He had a detailed estimate to us via email the next day. We scheduled the pipe replacement the following week. They took care of calling the city inspector. We were really happy with the fast, courteous and great service. We got the water dept to adjust our bill as well. Definitely they will be on my fast dial for future plumbing issues.

Btw, first plumber sent a estimate by mail a week later with only a total for the work. He came in at a 1/3 more! Thank goodness for ProDrain.

Waited 8 days for the other sewer specialist who came by and 'diagnosed' broken tree root damaged pipes and terrified me with doomsday scenarios then said he'd be back the next morning to work on it. He never came back or returned calls. ProDrain answered the first ring and the drain was clear and functional in 2 hours for only $105. Dan was excellent and explained how I probably already had an updated line and definitely didn't need to replace anything. Just a simple blockage. Couldn't have been better.

They have done repairs at my home and rental and after the last misdiagnosed repair, and then difficulty getting someone back out to fix it correctly, I decided that I will no longer use this company. I think this company is better for simple fixes and router services, because they didn't seem to understand the real issue or offer the entire solution that another plumber did. In short, if you want one plumber that can do it all this is not the company.

ProDrain technician Chris T. came by today to clear my drains that had been backing up slowly.  He was patient, professional and knowledgeable.  He asked comprehensive questions first, assessed the plumbing situation from there and then got to work.  Even though my dogs were rude/barking and I was very late for my appointment, he maintained a professional demeanor.  I really appreciated how clean he kept his work as he brought equipment in and out of the house.  From knowledge to service I was very impressed and will definitely keep Chris and his team at ProDrain as my go to drain servicers!

Chris T. came out and quickly installed a new toilet for us in an upstairs bathroom.  He was courteous and very professional, both on the phone and in person.  ProDrain also was great in coordinating and answering questions in order to try and minimize cost (hourly rate  of plumber vs drain technician).

I used them this morning for a clogged drain from the gutter down spout. He was able to unclog it to about 80 feet and I think that might be past my property line so I am going to see if that was enough to get me by for now.

Also should mention that I had forgotten he was coming and was in the shower when he got here. He waited outside for 20 minutes and, when I finally got to the door, he was driving away. Called and they got a hold of him and was back at my house in 5 minutes. Highly recommended.

Surprised to see so many 5-star reviews for this place.  They may indeed provide 5-star work but my one and only contact with them left me cold.

Thought I had a busted water main coming into the house.  Called TVWD and while they were on the way I got on Yelp looking for a good plumber to fix whatever the water dept guy found.  Prodrain was highly rated so they were one of the three I contacted.

I was told that Kelly would return my call in 30 minutes.

24 hours later she calls.

Yes, I might have a plumber available today she says.  That will be $165 just to have him show up.  That includes a $5 fuel surcharge (Prodrain is about ten minutes away on Allen Blvd) and the first 30 minutes of work.  $165 per hour thereafter.

Yikes!  

So...  minus stars for not having any sense of urgency.  And minus stars for a biz model that is more akin to the way Attorneys work.  The meter starts running immediately so cough up big time just to get us to show up.

The other two Yelp recommended plumbing firms were happy to come out for a free quote.  Rates were not discussed but in 40 years living in this house I don't think I've paid anything close to that stratospheric hourly rate.

My water/plumbing calamity was resolved almost 24 hours before Prodrain even returned my call and the total bill for the resolution was a *LOT* less than these guys would have cost.

Prodrain might do great work.  But of course I'll ever know.  But I mostly wanted to advise my fellow Yelp friends this place is pretty mercenary and will dent your wallet big time.

Kitchen line backed up on thanksgiving!  Dishawn, again, came to the rescue.  He squeezed me in between existing appointments on the holiday, and got there quick and did the job smoothly!  My handyman had prepped me for the job need and Dishawn came through.  Holiday pricing hurt but warranted in my case.

We spent all night fretting that we needed to replace our kitchen sink garbage disposal. It stopped running out of no where, when nothing was really in it. Power didn't even switch, after we reset it, you could hear the power but it didn't even try to run.

Well nothing makes you feel more sheepish than Pro Drain showing up and having it running in literally, less than 10 seconds. Apparently some rust built up and can sometimes shake loose and get in the way. He left the tool for us (since it was such a short visit) to wedge it back and forth, if it happens again (which it hasn't). $99 and done.

Fast forward to last week, our shower drained birthed a terrifying monster made of hair, goop and sand. It stopped draining, we tried drano which made things worst. Suddenly it started pooling sand into the tub. Day 2, it started to spit up dirt and what looked like rocks. Of course Google came in and told us a pipe must have cracked during the 20 degree temperatures here. When we flushed the toilet, even more stuff would come up. Pro Drain was finally able to make it out (they're not open on the weekends).

5 minutes later, Mario had our drain flowing like Niagara Falls. I've never seen water drain so quickly, I felt happiness that only slow drain users can understand. He had a pump the size of a table saw in there and then boom, he was done. He said the clog was about 8 feet down the pipe but pumped all 25 feet for us. He told me that what appeared to be rocks, was most likely mineral build up. $99 dollars, 10 minutes and Mario was gone, we were fearing a $500-1000 bill but are so elated it wasn't. Home ownership can be scary, these guys are efficient and honest. Thanks you!!

I too would hit 6 stars if I could. Brian is a true rock star. We have an older home with original pipes and need a plumber more than a couple times but lack 10k to re-pipe the place. Brian came on a Saturday, fixed the old rusty pipe that leaked in no time and at reasonable cost, and was the first plumber ever who didn't make us feel stupid/poor for having older pipes. Can't compliment enough!

The service was excellent: technician on time, took care of the service quickly and correctly. However, I was charged significantly more than I was quoted over the phone. I advise double checking the price the technician is going to charge you before agreeing service when they show up.

Quote $125 for a garbage disposal and $90/hr for labor. I was charged $169 for parts (disposal and a ~$10 toilet fill valve) and $98/hr for labor.

We had a slow leak in the upstair bath tub which was evident from some water marks in the ceiling. I feared that the repair was going to require hours of work tearing the ceiling up and cost a fortune. I'm so glad I called ProDrain. Greg came out and fixed it in a quick 30 minutes!! i have rental properties and have dealt with some good,and not so good plumbing companies. I am thrilled with prodrain. I had 2 visits, the first one Ron and Chris were efficient,  timely, and professional not spending time teliing me everything that needs to get .replaced. They just fixed the problem....almost. Upon testing more problems came up. Brian came out on second visit and he was great. I was nervous to have someone come out following a different plumber, but he found the leak, and even with having to go get a part completed it in a timely manner. Plumbers are expensive, but this company is worth it. I feel like I almost saved money not having someone spend 4 hours doing what they can do in 2. I will definetely use them again. We had a clogged drain and I was absolutely thrilled with the promptness Pro Drain exhibited and moreover, the flawless customer service and friendliness provided by the gals I spoke to on the phone named Robin and Amy.

Often times the attitude of customer service/scheduling reps can turn me away from an otherwise good business, but Pro Drain's staff raises the bar.

I called today, early this morning (around 8:15am) and the lovely woman on the phone got me a same-day appointment, even though the weather has been inclement all morning.

My window for service was 10 AM to noon, and my tech called me at 10:30am and let me know that he was on his way, and that he would be arriving in about 20 to 30 minutes, given the roads were a bit sketchy. Kyle was the technician, and he arrived at 11am, immediately getting to work. I also have a very young dog, and he is incredibly social, and Kyle was not bothered by my puppy greeting him at the door and watching while my bathtub drain was unclogged.

The service was completed in under 10 minutes, and I think my bathtub actually drains better now than it did before the clog. I am absolutely impressed at the speed and professionalism with which ProDrain has treated me. I will be using ProDrain from now on for any clogs, and anybody that has a bathroom or drainage issue, I will absolutely suggest ProDrain first.

Chris Terrones was on call last Thursday night. He got to my apartment at 10 pm and quickly addressed the problem which was a blockage that caused my kitchen sink to overflow. Chris was effective and efficient. Within a half hour the blockage was gone. A few minutes after that so was Chris. He did a great job. Much appreciated. Did I mention that he was polite and personable?  Yes, that too.

This was a full toilet install and the installers arrival was right on the button. Ezra was friendly and knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. He answered all my questions and kept an up attitude throughout the installation. It took 1.5 hours and this included all finishing work as well. He took care in the install and finishing. Old toilet and boxing was taken away as well. Even though the install was 130.00 more than Home Depots, the install company they use (Home Depot) has an actual rating of 83% 1 stars. I'd rather pay 130.00 more to see this done right. Also, I was able to to book the appointment for the day after the toilet was delivered. Pro Drain will be my go-to for any and all future plumbing issues.

Awesome. I spent 3 hours myself working on it using a power snake. Each time I pulled it out, the bathroom sink still plugged up. My third time with the snake, I went so far that I ran out line and got the snake stuck in the drain. This is when I called Pro Drain. I found them on Yelp and they had great reviews. I managed to get the snake out and Mario showed up a little after that. (He showed up earlier than expected and called first to make sure it was okay). Apparently, I was going up the vent and not down the drain, a common mistake for beginners like myself. Mario had it fixed and cleaned up in about 20 minutes. Apparently, $88 is cheap. I don't know since this was my first time but $88 was worth it to me to have it done and not risk getting the snake stuck again. Thanks!

I am so happy with the service I received.  My kitchen sink wasn't draining and I was getting ready to go out of town and didn't want to leave my housemate with a clogged sink.  They went out of their way to get out to my house early and had it fixed in 10 minutes.  It was a $95 flat rate.  Totally worth it.  I highly recommend ProDrain & Rooter Service.

I was that annoying customer and ProDrain handled it like a champ and true professionals- especially Kelli in the office.  I was selling my home and on a tight time crunch. Kelli helped me get an appointment in before my deadline and answered my (and my buyer's) million questions. I constantly needed quick responses and quotes for potential additional work and Kelli was so responsive and  helpful.  She really helped me make sure the sale went through. The two plumbers who did the work were great and put in a long, full day in my tiny crawl space to get the job done.  Plumbers aren't someone you want to have to call, but I will without a doubt call ProDrain in the future if the need arises.  Thanks again Kelli for helping me so much with all my quote requests and questions! Best plumbing service I think I've ever received.  I was impressed by the courteous and professional attitude of everyone at the company that I spoke with.  The tech, Dishaun, happened to be finishing up another appointment nearby so I was pleasantly surprised when he called and showed up early to get started on my repair. He was efficient and easily completed the job in less than an hour.  He explained what needed to be done and showed me the new and old parts when the job was complete.  Could not have gone more smoothly.  Faster than I expected (same day in-and-out in less than 2 hours from initial call) and cost less than anticipated. Very fair!  ProDrain is my new go-to plumber.  I highly recommend them to anyone looking.

These guys are amazing! So, I start the dishwasher and go to use the restroom a bit later to discover my bathtub is full of water. NOOOOOOOOO! My husband tries to unplug using every method he can think of. We run to Home Depot...drain cleaner and a snake later....attempts number 10, 11....12....and nope, nope and nope. Finally, the calls around start to get price quotes and these folks were reasonable at $100 for a drain unclog but had no appointments during the day for a few days. They offered an after hours appointment for an extra $30 which we jumped on because that is still very reasonable. Sure enough, they called back after another appointment cancelled to say they did not need the extra $30. On top of that, the gentleman called an hour early saying he was running early. The guy was here less than 15 minutes and was super friendly....bam done! Me and my husband were like....why in the hell did we wait and waste money trying to do it ourselves??!! Seriously...just call these guys!

Top notch service! I sent an email inquiry at 6:30 am, ProDrain responded and was ready to send a guy at 8:00 am. Chris T., the drain tech, was super friendly and very thorough. My dog liked him too which is always a good sign. :) The fee for clearing a tub drain is pre-set and reasonable, $105.  ProDrain is my new go to for plumbing SOS's!

Never again will we use ProDrain company. We have been a customer for over 7 years of theirs.

The dishwasher water was coming up in the bathtub so we called last Friday a tech comes out. He turns on the kitchen sink, bathroom sink and all works fine. We tell him it happens when we run the dishwasher. He didn't even bother to touch the dishwasher much less run it.
He says he can find no clog and charged  us $125 and said we have 30 days if it happens again.

Well it happened again.

We called prodrain again and requested a different tech and they told us no it has to be the same tech.

So today the same tech comes out and gets under the kitchen sink and breaks one of the pipe pieces and tells the spouse it broke because it's old. It wasn't old because we just put a new disposal in last year.

So then instead of using a regular snake he puts down a cutter snake and knocked a hole in the pipe in the basement.

I called the owner who was a complete jerk and he proceeded to tell us that it's our fault because the pipes are old.

He said EVERYONE KNOWS old pipes can break when you use a snake in

In my opinion first of all if a plumber comes in to snake pipes he should automatically inform the customer that there could be a chance of the snake knocking a hole or breaking a pipe if the pipes are old.

Not once did this tech say a word about ages of pipes.

So here we sit not knowing if the pipe is unclogged because now the same pipe is busted by the very same person/company that was supposed to repair it and they turn around and put the blame on us.

Until it's fixed there is no water in the kitchen

Pro Drain lost us permanently as customers they break pipes  even if old pipes and put the blame you.

Moral of the story customers should be informed by ProDrain prior to using a snake that the snake could knock a hole in the pipes

If I could give 0 stars and still have a review I would have! This is what my my step mother had to go through! Same on you all taking advantage of people.

We had a few minor plumbing items that needed replacing or fixing from a home inspection report. In addition to questions to understand the scope of the project ProDrain asked to see the home inspection report so that they understood completely what needed attention & to what degree. I am very happy to report that the yelp community did not disappoint.

Brian arrived promptly on time (what service company can manage that these days?) & it wasn't a four hour window...it was noon plain & simple. He was friendly, courteous & even interacted with my toddler who was curious about all the goings on.

And the cost of the repairs did not give me sticker shock like many home projects. I would highly recommend & plan on using ProDrain for any other plumbing needs in the future.

Chris Terrones was great: fast, professional, all-around cool dude. Only 4 stars because I think $115 for 30 minutes is steep. This is pretty easy to DIY, renting a power drain cleaner from Home Depot for $40-50 (I was forced to use a professional by someone buying my house).  If you don't DIY, based on my 1 experience with Chris, ProDrain is worth a shot.

I called ProDrain and scheduled an appointment. They called me a day earlier and notified me of an earlier appointment that became available. Chris Terrones came out and unclogged our drain within 30 minutes.  Chris was very friendly and professional. On top of the excellent service, we saved a couple hundred dollars by using ProDrain & Rooter Service instead of Roto Rooter. Highly recommend.

Men, beware, Chris is a cutie according to my girlfriend.  Who knows what other drains could have been unclogged if I weren't there...

I had a Pro Drain tech at our house in Aloha to service the gutter storm drains. He arrived on time, was very professional and friendly, and got right to work. I am glad to say that all storm drains are working perfectly and at a cost that was lower than I was expecting. My regular plumber recommended ProDrain. They were great. Quick to help and get me scheduled for the next day. Up front about costs, and fair. They did a main line rooter and provided advice to avoid the need for future visits. I'll call them again but I hope I won't have to :)

My kitchen sink was clogged and after trying to clear it myself to no avail, I called ProDrain. They were awesome right off the bat! I called them after 4 on a Wednesday and they made an appointment for me next day in the morning. They were also transparent about their pricing which is always appreciated! Our technician was Jake and he did a great job! Very professional and friendly - my family and I felt comfortable coming in and out of the kitchen while he was working. Jake made a 100% sure that the sink was fixed before he left and not just taking longer to fill back up. He also showed me a gasket that could be leaking and fixed that for us also :) Thank you Jake! Definitely recommend and will rehire if I run into a problem in the future!

With all the cooking we did over the holidays, the garbage disposal took a beating!  I'm of the opinion that the potato peels snuck down the drain themselves, but it was probably us.  Needless to say, the drain was clogged and Drain-O was not doing the job.

Checked Yelp and saw the great reviews for Pro Drain and especially the names mentioned (I especially like when customers remember and mention names).  Gave Pro Drain a call at 12pm and they had someone out to see me by 2pm same day, WOW.  

We live in a high rise and Mario called to advise he was here, onfortunately I was on the phone with a client at the time who likes to talk up a storm.  Finally got off 10 minutes later and Mario was still waiting diligently at the door.  Someone else could have given up and left, but not this guy.

Up we go and he looks at the drain.  Within minutes he is teaching me how to unscrew the pipe myself just in case this happened again in the future (likely knowing my cooking habits). Removed the clog and taught me a little bit about plumbing all within 15 minutes!

They let me pay over the phone with credit card after the service was finished and Mario had left.  He didn't even make me pay for his street parking.

All in all, GREAT experience - would definitely use again.

Living in an old house, some projects make hiring a pro no brainer. And I'm glad I did.

I wanted a newer toilet installed. Messaged them and was giving a detailed message about what to expect. Call to make an appointment. Super friendly and made communication a breeze.

So I was given a 1pm-3pm window. The tech pulled up to my house at 1:00pm on the dot! After a quick walk thru, he was off to work.

So this is where things went wrong. Being an old house, there wasn't enough room to install a newer style. Tech explained and showed me everything and why it wouldn't work. At that point he gave us a few options. After explaining why we wanted a new one, he offered another option of pretty much rebuilding the old one. He even had the parts in his van! While not the style we wanted, it now functions like new!

Overall super friendly and knowledgeable staff. All my questions and concerned were addressed and I now have a go to company for future work. Highly recommend.

I know it's hard to believe that a company can have so many positive reviews, but my experience was five star, just one more to add to the collection of exceptional reviews. Chris Terrones was on time and came in and unplugged our toilet. He gave me an explanation of why my toilet might be plugging up the way it did. I just recently purchased my home 2 months ago and not knowing the history of my 22 year old house I may have to buy a more modern toilet with a wider outlet to prevent this from occurring in the future.  He gave me an estimate that was very reasonable and I will be using them in the future. As a new homeowner it is very reassuring that I know I can count on a reliable plumbing company for all my plumbing needs!

These guys are great!  I ended up with a clogged kitchen drain on Thanksgiving, which made it impossible to do any after dinner clean up.  We tried everything, Drano, Liquid Plumber, a plunger, nothing worked.  I hoped overnight the clog would clear, but no such luck.  I called Pro Drain and Rooter Service around 8:00am and someone was at my house around 9:45am to clear the drain.  Thanks for the quick professional service!

Yeah, they really are that good.

Last night, after a fantastic day, my partner and I were cleaning up after dinner, and discovered that the leftovers we sent down the disposal wound up in the bathtub and the toilets were no longer flushing. Crap.

Our handyman, after we told him it was an emergency (because we're dramatic like that and the idea of having to not use our toilets for eight hours was enough to make us gear up for the zombie apocalypse), he told us to call Rescue Rooter. We elected not to have anybody come out late at night after cooling down a bit and realizing that we might just be okay if we waited until morning... we googled Rescue Rooter and were a bit terrified of the results, so instead googled best Portland plumbing... sure enough here's ProDrain.

We made an appointment, and because I'm that neurotic, I didn't sleep most of the night and slept in and missed him knocking on the door (didn't help that my dog decided this wasn't her problem, despite barking at the blowing wind 90% of the time). He called- it was the legendary Mario. Patiently waiting at the door.

It took him very little time to get up on the roof (our house was a bit of a challenge) and clear out the clog in the main line. Then, at no extra charge, he used the camera down the line to prepare us for any future issues and gave us simple, inexpensive solutions to keep this from happening again.

Nobody likes a surprise expense like having to call a plumber, but I'm glad we have a good, reliable, personable guy/company to go with whenever that happens now! I'd 100% recommend and return to these folks!

Cleared a basement floor drain that was backing up. Not much came out so I was skeptical but it was draining again so I let it go. About a month later it started backing up again but they don't guarantee their work past 30 days. It clearly wasn't properly cleared or it wouldn't be backing up again less than a month later.

This company has reliably opened drains for me, since I moved into my home in 2013.

Tonight, Eric came out in the freezing rain and worked for 90 minutes,  to open the combined toilet, bath tub drain.

I had a clogged kitchen drain that just wouldn't go away from all my efforts. Called Pro Drain and Luis was at my house in 2 hours. He cleared the clog and noticed that my sink basket ( the part that sits in the sink at the top of the drain) was so old and corroded it had holes in it and was leaking. I decided to have him replace it since its likely 60 years old and was going to be a problem. Luis put in a new one, as he had one in his truck, bonus points for having the part with him. He also had to do some re-piping to make all the connections fit properly and had those parts too. I had expected to pay much more than I did, bill was $157. He spent about an hour on labor and the parts were pretty inexpensive. He cleaned up after himself and was on his way. These are the kind of people you want to pay your hard earned money to as they work hard to earn it. Can't recommend them enough. This was the second time I have uses their services. Older houses just get clogged up in time. Thanks Pro Drain and Luis!

We had a backed up sewer line that kept backing up out of our laundry room drain. We tried snaking it ourselves, but it would only stay clear for a week or so and then back up again. ProDrain came out and cleared the system for us once, but a couple weeks later it backed up again. They came out a second time and we discovered that the issue may have been the backwater valve. As they snaked the pipe, the backwater valve ended up being damaged by the snake, as well as the cap on the entire backwater assembly, which neither we nor they knew was there.

Though this did fix the backing up drain, we were then left with an inoperable backwater valve assembly that now didn't have a watertight lid. We let ProDrain know of the issue and they searched high and low for a replacement. Unfortunately, no parts could be found, as the assembly is from awhile ago and had no markings on it indicating a manufacturer.

But did they quit? They did not! They ended up fashioning an operating valve and lid for the assembly, and came and installed it for us, all free of charge. This solution is far better than the over $6000 quote we received from another plumber to jackhammer out the entire assembly and replace it. Thank you Dan and the ProDrain team for not giving up on us!

This is the second time I have used ProDrain's services, and I have been very pleased with them. Everyone I have dealt with has been friendly and professional. For the most recent service call, I called ProDrain on a Saturday to clean out a basement drain, which clogs up due to a badly damaged pipe. Mario was quick to return my call, took care of the drain in no time, and also gave me some advice on how to tackle the inevitable replacement of the pipe as financially painlessly as possible. ProDrain is a good business, and I am very happy to recommend it.

ProDrain far exceeded my expectations.  They were on time and finished their work within an hour so the cost was manageable.  They scoped our sewer line, with our assumption of where the line ran through the basement, and when we realized that the sewer line wasn't where we thought it was (after we dug up a section of the basement floor), they came back and scoped it with the sensor, free of charge, so we could find out where the sewer line actually was.  Mario did a great job of figuring out what was stuck, and where, in our sewer line so we were able to get it out on our own.  And he did a great job of meeting us on our level of knowledge about our house and our plumbing, since we made it clear we could actually do the dirty (or dirtier) work on our own.  I would recommend them to anyone.

ProDrain was out today but failed to send the proper equipment to solve our problem. When I made the appointment, the woman said a scope would be sent, as I explained the drain ran under a tree. The technician who came didn't have a scope, only a snake. He tried to snake the pipe but was only able to go 65 feet, about half of the total distance and said a scope would be needed.

They charge $105 for the first 30 minutes for work and service call fee, which was not explained to me prior to the technician showing up. I thought he was coming to assess the situation and give an estimate, but since he was here, I had him try the snake. So, basically at the end of the 30 minutes, I was charged $105 for the conclusion that my drain is still clogged. Not exactly a great value, I think. If the scope had been sent to begin with, I'd have an answer and know where the problem was and be able to schedule drainage pipe repairs.

I followed up with the office about the problem, and spoke to Andrea, who said that they don't have enough scopes to send with all of their technicians. When I told her that when I made the appointment, the woman said a scope would be sent, she said my appointment booker wasn't there, and that I'd have to pay another $105 service call fee, plus another $125 for the scope, for the first 30 minutes to have a guy with a scope come out.

Had a plugged drain in my bathroom vanity. Been struggling with small clogs here for the last few months. Finally completely clogged this time.

I have an older house, and the plastic trap connects up to a cast iron drain stack. I was struggling to turn the second 90 deg elbow in the cast iron section with my 25' snaked. Called ProDrain to fix the problem.

Called at 9am, by 2:30pm I had someone in the door. After 10 mins with the power snake, he got past the problematic elbow (probably the source of the clog) and ensured it was clear all the way to the main stack. Reassembled the trap and showed me how it was hooked up incorrectly during some previous work. Very helpful.

Came in right as estimated, which they gave upfront when I asked before scheduling.

We had a houseful if people on Christmas  and a laundry room full of water.....not a good combination. We called Pro Drain and had Shane at our house within 2 hours. 1 hour later we have a clear drain and the piece of mind of knowing the problem was resolved with a 30-day warranty. Being a 65-year old home, he told us to have this done every 18-24 months. The best $88 we have ever spent!!!

Excellent experience with ProDrain today. After calling 4 other plumbing companies and leaving a voicemail for each, I was feeling defeated. Our plumbing situation was a borderline emergency that involved flooding from an invisible location. A friend recommended ProDrain and, with one ring, I was immediately able to reach a real person who scheduled a plumber to swing by within 3 hours. After carefully listening to my situation, she gave me several options and offered a clear quote for each route. I received a call from the office a bit later, apologizing that the plumber was running behind and that he would be a couple of hours later than expected. This was not a problem for us and we appreciated the heads up. I asked the sweet office voice if the plumber could call me en route, so I could cage up my dogs and babies, and he did. It turned out he was only 45 minutes later than the original window.  Tyler was courteous, quick and even offered a few DIY suggestions to save us money for other small plumbing issues in the house.  

Our situation, if you care:
Our shower drain was clogged for a few days.  We attempted to solve the issue by pouring down some high-powered drain-o and poking around with a hanger, but we knew this chemical was risky for our old pipes.  Alas, this morning the shower was so clogged it began flooding from an unknown, invisible location into our living room just outside of the bathroom. This caused about a 5ft radius of water to leak out UNDER our brand new floating wood floors. It was a sad and squishy situation, folks. Turns out it was a giant hairball and that the flooding was likely a leaky seal that would only cause us problems if the drain is clogged.  We'll be making a later appointment to take a deeper look, but for now our crisis is solved for around $100 and within 5 hours.

This is the second time I have used ProDrain's services. I appreciate their calls to give a heads up when they are 5-10 minutes out, their professionalism, and customer service. They don't drag out the time of service for a higher rate; they do their job, check it, and are done. I appreciate their work ethic and their reasonable rates. I apologise for not grabbing the technician's name from the first time but Chris T came out this most recent time and he was efficient, professional, and had great customer service. Thank you, Chris!!

Pro Drain fixed a water main leak for us today. Their service was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest from the initial call. We had been told by another company that we needed to have a complete re-pipe with a quote of $5,000, we called Pro Drain and were told that with the age of our home (20 years) a re-pipe was not likely necessary. They were honest that the price quote could be $500-$3000, but until the leak was found and pipe evaluated they could
not give a more accurate quote. They came on time to the appointment, got right to work and completed the job same day and for a price close to the minimum of their estimate.
We will be using them for any other plumbing needs.

The basement drain was bubbling up black silty stuff! Plunging didn't help!

The internet is a large place, full of contradictory information about plumbing and plumbing services, but this time, Yelp steered me in absolutely the right direction.

The ProDrain folks were easy to get in touch with and didn't make me feel like a dummy on the phone (which is awesome, since it was my first time dealing with a Plumbing Situation). They were able to give me an affordable estimate based on the info I told them over the phone, and I made a next-day appointment for a time that worked with my work schedule.

The technician showed up promptly, cleaned out the drain in no time, and then? Answered some household plumbing questions that had been weighing on me. It was super helpful, and I really appreciate it.  

As someone who lives in near mortal fear of choosing the wrong home repair service, ProDrain's promptness and professionalism put my mind (and my drains) at ease.

Chris was super nice and helpful with fixing our garbage disposal in the kitchen!! Am I the only one who gets anxious about calling a plumber? We've been in our 60's era house going on 13 years and for us it's been the plumbing that from time to time most often needs some TLC.  Over the years we had found a plumber we like so this morning when the wife said there's water coming up in the shower when we flush the toilet I'm like, call him, call him!. But when we called he said, no, no, no, I don't do clogs, you better call Pro Drain. GREAT RECOMMENDATION!

At 10 am I had an appointment for this afternoon between 3 and 5 pm. At 3:00 Austin arrived, shook my hand, listened to me wail and knash my teeth for a bit, then made quick work of finding a soft obstruction (not roots, phew!!) about ten feet down the line. By 3:30 he was packed, cleaned up and on his way. I know from these reviews that Pro Drain is a top notch company and sending Austin could not have been more nice or professional way to prove it. It was a pleasure for my wife and I to meet him and we are grateful for his prompt and kind attention. Kudos to Pro Drain for hiring great people like Austin.

Super pleased with my experience with ProDrain from beginning to end.  I called in to an incredibly polite receptionist and they were able to get a great technician, Andrew, out to my house the same day.  I was given a two hour window for their arrival and Andrew showed up at the first minute of that window, so I didn't have to kill time all afternoon waiting for them to show.

I thought I had a clogged main and Andrew quickly ruled that out and began work in other parts of the house to problem solve the issue.  He found the clog as well as a hole in the line that I didn't even know was there.  He was able to set up a free estimate with their head plumber, and I walked away with a very reasonable bill.

I will definitely return to them for any future problems.

I'm really glad that they called me back first thing in the morning, and that they came out the same day in the time frame indicated, and that they cleared the drain in my basement of a clog 16 feet down the pipe, and that it cost under $100.

I was disappointed to hear that the tech left the basement floor covered in the muck from the drain. My housemate said he was told to rinse the floor with bleach water but after he paid and went to see the area, he found it had big chunks of god-knows-what that had to be scooped up and put in the garbage can, not simply rinsed. The smell was clearly bacterial in nature, so really not sanitary ( as one might expect from a sewer drain). I don't know what the standard is, but I sort of expect that workers clean up the site before exiting the premises. That's why we pay plumbers so much, after all, right?

Basement floor drain backed up last night! I called our regular plumber who couldn't schedule us for a couple of days and would charge $125 for the 1st hour and would also charge for travel time! I ended up calling ProDrain this morning and spoke to Lisa, who was very helpful, polite and informative over the phone. She was able to give me a very reasonable quote (less than $100) and had Eric here within an hour or so! Eric diagnosed and corrected the problem within 30 minutes. Both these individuals represented the company very well. I was impressed.... and that's not easy to do!

Quick follow up and scheduling, Showed up on time, wore mask, gloves, and booties, friendly, helped diagnose the issue I had with washer drain. Appreciate them taking the time to investigate to determine where the awful smell was coming from. Will use again if I need a plumber (hopefully no need!)

We clean out your drain, not your wallet is their motto. LOL I would have to disagree. For the job of installing a new toilet, hauling away an old one, and installing an exterior hose bib, I was charged over $1,000. The plumber was a super nice dude, answered all my questions, and I know $145 an hour is pretty much going rate, but wow that cleaned me out. He needed to run out to get more pipe (even though I told the office before hand that installing the hose bib would require lots of pipe) and he charged me for this time he spent running out to the store. Also, i was interested in installing a shut off valve on the main line bringing water into my house, he told me he could do that, spent quite a while calling around town look for parts, charged me for the research time and was ultimately unable to get the parts to do that job. The toilet and hose bib jobs were completed and done well, they just took a lot longer than I expected and I can't believe how much this cost.

I just had one of Pro Drain's guys (Dan) out here on Weds and I am very pleased with the service provided!  I had both the kitchen and bathroom sinks backing up, the bathroom was a simple fix and the kitchen required removal of the old disposal and putting in all new drain lines.  He did a great, speedy job, was concerned about getting the job done in a reasonable amount of time so as not to cost me too much, and kept everything clean, no huge mess left for me to clean up.  He was also super sweet to my very nervous growling dog.  A++++ will call again (well, hoping I don't *have* to...).

Andrea, Mario, and the ProDrain team are awesome! I called in panicked to clear our greasy drain before our washer was to be installed on the weekend. I don't know anything plumbing and had a difficult time describing to her what I needed (per the recommendation of another plumbing company after they came out and said the necessary work was beyond their capabilities). I was lucky to land with ProDrain in the end. They are very patient and caring. Two days of e-mails and phone calls were returned promptly. They made sure I got the right service and took time to explain to me what could/couldn't be done and why. Another plus is it only cost $90 something! Thank you, ProDrain!

Stop looking through the listings and just pick Pro Drain.  I had two issues that needed resolving:  1)  a leaky toilet and 2) a nonfunctional garbage disposal.  Shane came out to do the work.  He was running ahead of schedule and called to see if he could come early.  Fine by me.  He was able to fix the toilet very quickly, because he had the parts on hand.  He cleaned up after himself and left the area as clean as he found it.  Next, he took a look at the garbage disposal.  It was simply jammed.  There is a breaker on the unit with a reset switch.  He simply fixed the jam, pressed reset, and the unit was completely functional again.  I thought the motor had burned out.  So, it did not need replacing at all.  I was able to pay the office by phone with my credit card.  The price was reasonable.  Everything was so easy.  Do not hesitate to call Pro Drain.

We had our main water line break! Forgive the copy and paste but I also wrote this up on Re-Pipe Specialist's review page. Always remember, when a job is subcontracted out, to review both the agency as well as the subcontractor!

Yesterday, the crew from Pro Drain showed up to get to work. There were a number of guys who patiently waited as I cornered all five cats to get them into one room for safety. They laid down sheets all over the house so the floors would stay clean and did a walk through inspection and explained everything in great detail. The personalities of these guys were awesome. They're from ProDrain, the company subcontracted by Re-Pipe Specialists. I felt comfortable with them being in my home while I was at work all day. They were confident, friendly, and just the nicest guys.

I came home from work and there were no work trucks outside of my home. I walked inside, and my home was silent. No more water leak sounds, no more dripping faucets. I double checked everything - above and beyond work. I think they actually left our garage bathroom cleaner than it was when they got here? Our tap water is drinkable straight from the tap. Our water pressure is amazing. The bathroom shower is amazing!!! There was zero, zero mess left behind. And the pipes are professionally put in place - the job passed inspection today. They literally re-piped our entire home in a work day.

They even watered my daphne plants before they left. Come on!!!! It does not get better than this. The great, positive attitude, the great customer service, totally reasonable price, and the exceptional job... I am beyond happy with my experience.

I have had 4 plumbers out to look at a clogged sewage line over the past 15 years. They clean it with a 25' snake each time and it's good for awhile, along with a few comments about what might be the bigger issue but nothing conclusive, nor how to find out.

Today, Dan from ProDrain PDX came out and not only solved the temporary clog 10' beyond and into the real issue (where no other plumber had reached) but ran a scope (didn't even know they could do that) to address a real solution. I finally have a working line, a video showing the issues and full recommendations for how to get it fixed for good.

SUPERSTARS. I will never need another recommendation for a plumber.

Someone in the family inadvertently threw the cardboard roll of a roll of tp down the toilet with the tp.  After a 1/2 hr of trying with a plunger and zero improvement, I called ProDrain.  The person who answered was very courteous, gave me a quote, and scheduled a time slot.  They called and actually asked asked if I was OK if they came earlier.  I was like sure!  The plumber showed up, wearing a mask and put on shoe covers.  Grabbed his snake and snakes it.  Toilet clears.  He flushed it a few times to make sure and that was it.  No upsell.  No selling some stupid yearly  retention fee that some out of business plumbing company used to try to sell us.

I'm very impressed with ProDrain's service. . . from the initial call to set up the appointment to the quality of the service rendered. The person who answered my call was very nice and helpful.  They were able to send someone over within hours  of my call and the problem was solved in less than 30 minutes.  Also, the plumber noticed a leaking gasket under the sink and got that all tightened up.  The kitchen sink is draining great now and there are no leaky pipes.  The cost was quoted up front and there were no hidden fees.  This company is top notch!
