Of all the vendors I messaged asking for quotes on Yelp Gateway was the best by quite a bit. Daniel responded very quickly and with an extremely competitive quote ($160 to fix a shower that wouldn't drain, parts and labor included). He was able to commit to a next morning appointment via Yelp messaging, which was really important to me. When compared to other plumbers who required phone calls, back and forth without actually providing quotes, and in some cases did not call back at all, choosing Gateway was easy.

This is a business type where the service provider needs to be willing to get their hands dirty. Like really dirty. Daniel and his associate did a great job with my place, unafraid to get to the root of the issue. They take cash, check and credit card, and in my case were completely done with the job in just twenty minutes. (While some point to a short appointment as a negative, I say, it's a job I'm not doing myself and the faster you can do it, the better)

They were late, but also proactive about taking corrective action. I appreciate this in a service provider.

Gateway also offers a 30 day warranty on their work, so while I certainly hope I don't need to take advantage of it, I feel confident the problem will actually get solved in the unlikely case it isn't already.

If you have a plumbing problem, there is no better place to go then Pavel at Pacific plumbing. We had a water heater break that flooded an area and caused us great concern.  Pavel and his team came in, diagnosed our problem, explained our options clearly and then performed the work with expertise. You wouldn't think this would be much of an issue - to replace a water heater but our issue required some thought.  In 2021 we installed a solar panel battery power system in our home. We thought that switching over from the old gas water heater to an electric water heater made sense (and it did/does).  However to do that in our home required changing out the electric panel, putting in new amp switches and running a dedicated electric line to the washer as well as simply sticking up a new water heater.  They had all of this work covered with licensed technicians and I owe them my gratitude for the quick service. Avi - he is really the best and yes, he is affordable. He will answer your call immediately and will not do the best job, efficiently and quickly. He has fixed my sink, and toilet several times. Josh helped out on another project. He is extremely efficient. Edwin and Josh are a great duo. Reasonable pricing and efficient workmanship.

They came pretty quick.  They were efficient and helpful.  I would say a very reasonable price compared to other companies as well. I would highly recommend them.

I got a quote for them to make my fuel line which is about 2 -3 feet into galvanized steel and because their pricing was higher and they could not price match another offer I received,  Nexgen offered a complementary gas repair to be performed by another company.  How nice was of that for them to offer this to me.  I will reach out to them again next time I need plumbing work :).

Just had a great experience with Patrick Cordova at NexGen.  He did a complete check of my heating unit.  He constantly explained everything he was doing and then gave me a complete understanding of the issue. He explained all the options I have and was patient to allow me to make the best decision for my family.

I had a 911 outdoor pipe and valve breakage, we had to shut water the water off to the house  Bran came out and had it fixed within an hour or so.

When I called this service they told me it was going to be $99.00 to clear the kitchen sink drain. When the plumber came over, the price wasn't $99 to clear the drain, it was $99 to diagnose the problem and $275 for the first hour and $150 for each hour after that.  We told the plumber that the issue was not under the sink, but the pipe under the house, accessible from the clean out on the side of the house.  Without diagnosis, he took 20 minutes to clear the pipe with a snake.  The total visit took less than 30 minutes for $275.  That's an outrageous cost for less than 30 minutes work.  Stay away!!

I seem to have bad luck with plumbers. Finding a good
one is like finding Waldo! But I struck gold with Drains
Unlimited and Master Plumber James. After numerous
plumbers did not return my calls or emails (with pictures
of the leak!),  James determined that the faucet I had
purchased to replace the corroded oldster that came with
the house, would not fit the wall pipes. Oh, no, I said,
love this faucet. It has 'hot' and 'cold' on the handles. James
was not deterred. He showed me pictures of the brand he
wanted to buy that would fit the pipes, and drove to the
supply store to snag one just like the one I bought that didn't work. Couldn't be more pleased with this nicety and with the installation and clean up. He went the extra mile. I could get used to this. Will,
without question, use this company again and ask for James. Let me add that Linda, who fields phone calls and makes appointments, is
efficient, attentive and actually calls you back when you leave your number.

Our sink clogged late on a Friday afternoon and Liberty showed up promptly and saved us from some weekend hassles. We live in an old building and it wasn't an easy to clear out the ancient pipes, but they did a great job and fixed a leak as well. Highly recommended!

We have used several contractors to do jobs around the house over years. They were okay but none of them gave me the confidence to suggest to friends when they ask for recommendations. BUT Ruben will be the one I recommend to any who wants to repipe their houses! We had Ruben repipe our house with copper. He not only had the best price but more importantly he did a great job. Some contractors said they can finish the whole job in one day, but do you want a good work or a quick work !?  

Two days after Ruben finished our job, we had a leak in our front yard so I call Ruben 7am in the morning. He arrived with in a couple of hours. Turned out it was my sprinkle system's PVC broke, not his fault. He fixed right away for me. This proved his warranty promise - if any thing happened, he will show up and fix it!

Use someone who is honest and takes pride of his work!
If you need a repipe, give him a call, you will know he is the one you can trust.
