Andy's Plumbing & Rooter Plumbing Service
AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

I didn't hire this man, my real estate agent did, saying that he had a lot of good reviews on Yelp. After our experience with Andy this morning I don't understand how that's possible. Going through inspections on a newly renovated home and there was an issue with the tankless water heater. My agent couldn't get the guy she wanted so she called Andy and he agreed to come out at 9:45am, with a quote of $125 to look at the water heater because the hot water wasn't coming on and also check the pipes underneath the house because the general inspector told us there was moisture near the front sewer line. Andy arrived about ten minutes late and he does not have the best bedside manner so to speak. He went through the house and we turned on the faucets and ran the water. He stated the obvious, that the hot water wasn't coming out. Yeah, that's why we called you.

We take him to the water thermostat which is set to 120 degrees so there should be hot water. The seller's agents are there as well and we all take him to the tankless water heater and we go over everything. He doesn't know what it could be, maybe says the problem is within the water heater. He proceeds to go under the house and my agent and I stay with him. He then calls another plumber (?) to talk, admitting he doesn't know what the problem is. The guy on the other end gives him a possibility, which he then repeats to us. Fine. Whatever, but we ask him to check the pipes for the leak our general inspector put in his report--like my agent has asked him to do when they spoke over the phone--he doesn't seem to understand what we're asking, even though he agreed to it, so we say it over and over until he gets it. He sees moisture underneath the house but he doesn't know what it could be.

At this point, getting anywhere with Andy is taking forever and the seller has brought in his own plumber to take a look. I need to leave for work so I write Andy a check for $125, which is what he quoted to my agent. As my agent had brought him out to do a professional inspection of the plumbing she asks for his write-up on what he thought were the issues as well as a quote for possible repairs. This is where it goes off the rails. Andy gets upset that he has to basically do what he was called out here to do (and my agent told him over the phone she would like a written report and bid) telling us that he doesn't need to write up a report because the other plumber is there to fix is. But that's not what was agreed upon, so my agent reminds him it was part of his job.

Andy then tells us that he's going to charge us MORE for writing the report. There's a back and forth between my agent and Andy, which I was witness to, where she tells him that despite the other plumber she also needs a written report from him because that's going to go in our own paperwork during escrow on the house. Andy gets upset and hands the check back to me, telling me he doesn't want my money. He goes on to complain about having to come out, that my agent hadn't told him she needed a written report (I was there, she even said it multiple times to him as he was doing his inspection and he would nod and say yeah).

Before it becomes a full blown argument my agent actually apologizes to him if there was any miscommunication (I don't know what their phone call was, but again, she asked him MULTIPLE times that she'd need him to write up his report and he agreed). At this point my agent just wants him to leave because now the owner is there as well as the other agents and this guy is awful and unprofessional and whining about basically doing his job. I give him the check back, telling him that he did a job so I'll pay him. He takes the check and agrees to just write up a quick assessment and his quote. Fine. Yay! We think the problem is solved but five minutes later Andy comes out of his truck and asks if we've seen his check. He thinks he's dropped it on the ground. I have to stop myself from laughing out loud because this has become absurd. We take the time to look on the ground for the check but I and my agent tell him I handed it to him, he had it in his hand. He doesn't know where it is. He gets back in the truck and I have to get to work so I leave, assuming he'll find it in his pocket or his truck.

Now, the rest of this is second hand from my agent but she calls me as I'm driving to tell me she got into a full blown argument with Andy in the middle of the street. He threatened to take her to small claims court because HE LOST MY CHECK. She's pissed, but she gets another call. When she calls me back she tells me Andy found my check.

Honestly, I'm happy he found it because I never want to see this guy again. I have NO idea why he's gotten so many good reviews on this site. In my thankfully brief encounter with him he was awful and unprofessional and didn't really seem to know what he was doing. Buyer beware.

Adeedo Plumbing Service
I would like to advise of an exceptional job that was done by Karla in your accounting department.
I was weeks into a horrible experience with project supervisor Roland on a repipe and bathroom remodel. Karla contacted me regarding payment, after I explained to her about all the lies and shotty work that was being done she stepped up big time going above and beyond what I'm sure her normal job description is.
Somehow the incompetent supervisor was off the job and a new crew was brought in to fix all the horrible work that was done in just a few short days.
I'm retired now but when I ran my businesses she is the exact type of employee I would want working for me. Excellent communication skills as well as empathy for us knowing things weren't being done correctly.
If any further information is needed please contact me at 559-269-9353.

Rocket Plumbing - Venice Plumbing Service
Chris from Rocket Plumbing did outstanding work. We initially got an estimate from another plumbing co. to fix a shower/tub diverter for $1800 that would have required cutting a whole in the wall behind the shower.
Got a second opinion from Chris at Rocket Plumbing. He was able to replace the diverter unit, no cutting for a total of $315. Great job. Very trustworthy. Highly recommend.

Water Heater Pros Plumbing Service
Jose, Jesse and Tony are amazing! Call this place if you have any water heater issues.  I will definitely call them again if anything ever comes up and I will continue to sing their praises to whoever listens.  Here's why: I am a mom of two little boys ages 3 and 6, who need baths every single night so when our water heater's pilot light kept shutting off I was so upset.  After the 4th or 5th time, I finally had enough and decided to call Water Heater Pros based on their yelp reviews and availability.  They were able to come within an hour or two of my phone call and it was in the evening too! Tony came right away and installed a new part to get the part running again.  Unfortunately, a couple of days later the pilot light went out again.  When I called, Jose immediately said he could stop by and fix it right away.  When he came by he discovered the real problem and needed to replace a specific part.  He did everything he could to get it fixed.  He called a water heater part company but they were closed at 4:00.  It was 4:15.  He called several other companies but they were not able to ship the part that we needed to fix the water heater right away because of the New Year holiday.  Meanwhile we were going to be about 5 days without a water heater.  He continually updated me on his progress.  Three or four phone calls later he said he has two options for us 1) to wait a couple of days until we get a new part or 2) his co-worker Jesse happened to find an identical water heater to ours in the shop with a used but working part.  Of course, I picked the second option since we needed hot water asap and he and Jesse came over right away and fixed the water heater WITHOUT CHARGING US.  It's been almost a week and the water heater is working perfectly.  I'm so grateful to this company for not only responding right away but also having EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.  Thank you Water Heater Pros!

Lords Of Plumbing Plumbing Service
I chose Lords of Plumbing due to their good yelp reviews, but unfortunately I could not have had a much worse experience with this company and their admin procedures.

The guy who I believe to be the owner, Manuel, came to our house to inspect a couple of toilets and promised a quote/estimate to be emailed the following day (with work completed at a later date as well). The invoice was never sent, and I even followed up 3x, speaking with him personally to get this quote, and each time he promised to send it the next day - failing to ever deliver.

Additionally, Manuel was rude, curt and unfriendly on these 3 follow up occasions over the phone. I needed the estimate to provide the city of Santa Monica proof of a leak so we could be reimbursed by them by a certain deadline. Thanks to the major Lords of Plumbing fail, I wasn't able to make this deadline and received no money back...and the work was never done. I really don't know why they didn't want this business. SMH

Castaneda's 24/7 Plumbing Plumbing Service
Oscar was timely,  thorough, and professional. He did a great job fixing my plumbing problems and educating me about the process.

They loosened my tub faucet and said they would come back to fix it the next day but did not return the next day. That was disappointing, but they did get it taken care of that third day when I called in about it. All ended well.

I've used them twice now and both times they were quick, on time, and very professional.  The first time was to replace a broken shower knob, not only did they quickly get a replacement but installed it within 30 minutes.  Second time was to investigate low water pressure in our guest bathroom.  They were able to diagnose the problem and fixed it within minutes.  I'm definitely using them for any plumbing issues in the future!

J&E Plumbing Plumbing Service
So where to start, we had a choice of different plumbers to come to our small business and unclog a drain, so I reached out to this supposed plumber Jaime. He told me originally that'll be $195 for three drains but when he came to our market he said it was for only one! Then on top of that he used just a little stick to take out the small top layer and said he was done but I asked him to snake it and he replied that it's fine. Then low and behold this morning I walked in and my drains were flooded again. I called him and he came in yelling at my wife saying that we intentionally flooded the drains because he didn't want to do the work of real plumber! This Jaime guy is definitely a ripoff! I definitely do not endorse this company!

Western Rooter Plumbing Service
We had a small leak coming from water valve to a bath tub in our Master bathroom.   Luckily, the hot and cold water valves are located outside the house.  I called Western Rooter and Isaias came out to inspect the problem.  He immediately repaired and replaced the cold water valve in  a matter of minutes. He was very cordial and explained all the work necessary. Within 40 minutes he had completed the job.
Four days later I inspected the valve and noticed the valve was still wet. I called Western Rooter which happened to be a Saturday and the dispatcher- Heather routed my concern directly to Isaias who came back out and re-tightened all the fittings.  No leaks!
Overall, we were very happy with the services and the promptness of handling our situation.  We would not hesitate to use them again.

Plumbing Boys Plumbing Service
The $150 I paid to snake my kitchen sink was about $50 more than other plumbers would charge . . . but Daniel had a very nice Plumbing Boys vehicle, was courteous and did a good job. This isn't a discount plumbing company, but they came on very short notice and did get in and out quickly. I'd use them again if I just needed something done quickly, professionally and correctly and wasn't desperate to bargain hunt.

David Rooter Plumbing Service
We had a clogged kitchen sink and our usual plumber wasn't available. So we had to find someone who was responsive and reasonably priced.

We called around and found David who responded to our call immediately. He was able to take a look at our problem in the afternoon, gave us a quote, and came back the next morning.

He unclogged our drain and replaced some leaky pipes. He was very professional and ultimately we were very satisfied with his work.

We would definitely recommend him to anyone with plumbing issues!

Free Flo Rooter & Plumbing Plumbing Service
So disappointed. We had a new Fridge installed and ended up pinching the copper water line that feeds to the freezer. They came out and told me that the could not fix the issue without doing a 1600.00 job but would discount to 1100 because of Covid19.  I contacted another plumber and he did the job for under 100.00 as it was an apparent quick fix.

Amazing plumbers!!!

I had a clog in my shower.  I first called Roto Rooter in the morning.  They couldn't unclog the bath tub and then gave me a quote saying they would have to go under the house and remove part of the plumbing for an estimate of $1200!!!!  Could you believe it????

I then called Fabian (I should have called him first!!!) and he said he would come out between 12 and 2 pm and gave me an initial estimate of $125 to unclog a bathtub.  Fabian texted me a little before 12 and said he was on his way.  He came here almost exactly at noon, removed the clog, and left -- all within 30 minutes!!!!  Soooo happy!!!  Price:  the original estimate of $125!!!!!

If i could, I would give 6 stars!!!

Save yourself the trouble.  Call Fabian FIRST!!!!!
