Arman is a straightforward and honest man. When I requested a quote on Yelp for a job that I had inside my house every other business gave me the runaround and wouldn't give me a straightforward answer on what the price was going to be for installation. Arman was the only plumber in my area who understood the assignment and right away told me a flat rate price that it was going to cost and when he arrived to the job he didn't try to make an excuse and upsell on other services or complain about the difficulty of the job. This is the most valuable aspect of any service related job, not the pricing but the convenience and the reliability. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs any plumbing job done on their house because the quality of the job was top-notch and the overall experience was hassle-free and without headache.

Best plumber! He was very quick and efficient, and very honest when it came down to pricing and the work that needs to be done. The prices were very reasonable. He was very quick at diagnosing the problem and solving them. I would highly recommend this company, I've used them many times since for all my plumbing problems!

Today 06/23/15 I ended up calling seven of the highest
rated (5 star) companies from yelp* & here are my findings:

(1) Never called me back.
(3) Approx. costs & labor quoted was over $500.00.
(1) Evenly priced, could not complete job until: 06/25/15.
(1) Called me back at the end of the day?  Day was over
(1) The company I chose:  {Purdy Plumbing and Drain.}

Here's why:
I called Purdy Plumbing and Drain, spoke to Erin who got Josh out to my house right away to give me an estimate. Josh did not try to up-sell me at all, he told me exactly what was wrong (discounted the price), I thanked him for his time but I did not feel confident in my decision until I had the chance to call the other (6) companies I selected & compare costs & service.  

I called one company that never bothered to call me back, three other companies told me the quote I received was an amazing price and they (in their own words) could not match it.  I called Erin back, she set up the appointment on the same day the estimate was done and sent Josh back out.  The average turn time from the other companies I talked to was around three days.  One company called me back at the end of the day (5:00 pm) after Josh had already been to my house twice, completed the job (took around 1 hour) and was already on his way to his next appointment, the guy is amazing!

* Result: Purdy Plumbing & Drain
     Earned a customer for life!!

Jesus was great taking a look and providing a free estimate on pretty short notice. He knew what he was looking at and able to identify what needed repairs to code and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. He provided a fair quote within 2 days.

The site had water pressure issues and they found the issue quickly with options for repair.

If you want a headache, call this plumber. My experience was nothing like the reviews I've read. I called the owner and was quoted $99 for snake service. The technician came out within an hour, snaked the sewer line from the toilet. He then asked for $260. When I try to explain to him what his boss is quoted, he began to argue. He said, call my boss, and let's see what he said. Unfortunately, his boss would not answer his phone or text messages. it is now been four days, still no response. If you're looking for a bait and switch, give these guys a call.

Michael is one of the most professional vendors I have ever worked with. His work ethic is unmatched and I cannot express enough how much i would recommend his services.

I have been using Michael for many years, and many of the folks in my building have used him in the past.

He is courteous, clean, reasonably priced, and is smart as heck with regards to many of the issues I have encountered over the years.

He also takes the time to explain what he is doing, and many times has demonstrated to me how to do it myself in case its needed. Who does that these days?

This company was right on time and explained to me what exactly needed to be done. It was a simple fix and they didn't try to upsale anything. I'm happy with the work and especially happy with the guy who ran this job named Alfredo. He was very professional and made sure to answer all my questions as well as take care of my concerns. If I find myself in this position again I know who to call.

Had a problem, he came right out, charged a reasonable price, and fixed it.  I told him that I was considering trying to do it myself (I would have messed it up), so he was kind enough to explain to me what he was doing as he worked.

Nice guy, quickly fixed the problem.  Would hire again.

Ron was there for me when water damage ruined my bamboo floors. I called him on a weekend & he did not hesitate to fit' me in and then proceeded to take care of the damage,  if you ever had to call someone, a company, on a weekend and get the kind of service & trust that I got working with Rom, you'd be lucky. I would recommend Ron for any water restoration project, plumbing & general restoration services. He's someone you can count on and trust. Thank you Ron!

After assessing the reviews for a local plumber, I was impressed with the positive reviews for Clean Out Plumbing & Rooter. I decided to call them to fix a clogged drain. Marco answered my call and making an appointment to accommodate my schedule was quick and easy. Chris and his team came through and they did a great job. Chris was very professional, polite and kept me abreast of the progress. It was a challenging job because of the trees on my property. The team worked diligently as they had to deal with major roots that had to be cut and cleared to do the pipe installation. No one wants to have to deal with plumbing issues and the expense that goes along with it. However, I can honestly say the experience was a positive one. Thank you again, Chris.

I've become a huge fan of Heflin and Son Plumbing and Heating since I had to have a new water heater and garbage disposal installed. The owner/manager (Todd) is fantastic.

I was directly referred to him from a list by a client who has been working with him for years (in this and previous condo complexes).

Initially, when researching for a plumber, I had a mile long list and didn't see his company. So I called two other places with mixed Yelp reviews. I am a very new home owner and was really nervous because I am on the third floor and had no clue what this involved. The first place I called was rough around the edges, but nice when I stated where I lived (condo complex). His offer was low, but hiked up once the garbage disposal was added. The second plumber I contacted was fantastic and super kind -- but extremely expensive. I then contacted as many places as I could to get estimates, including checking with friends. Everything was over my budget. So I held off for a year longer than I should have (since the water heater still worked fine).

Then I called Heflin and Son Plumbing and Heating. The owner/manager (Todd), picked up the phone immediately and scheduled the visit for the next week (I could have had it done the next day, but was still too tentative). Todd reassured me -- as did the plumber sent out, who was tremendous. The price was less than ALL the plumbers I had contacted. The job was completed in no time. I didn't even have to clean under the sink (the plumber pulled things out and replaced them in order, once the installation was completed and shown to me). Once it was over -- it was a huge monkey off my back, and a massive relief to know I have a fantastic plumber so nearby -- for everything and anything that goes wrong. A plumber I can count on!

I now have two wonderful working appliances -- and probably an increase in the value of my condo! Heflin and Son Plumbing and Heating -- you are the best!

We had RR out to our home a few times for drain fixes and never had any issues with our experiences. In 2014 they replaced the drain in our kitchen from the sink to the main drain of the house and that seemed to fix the recurring kitchen drainage issues we had been having. Service had always been excellent and work was done well.

Starting a few months after the drain replacement we began to notice a faint smell in the kitchen. We didn't think much of it at first simply because we couldn't fathom where it could have possibly been coming from. After some time the smell became an issue as did the increasing number of insects that were invading the kitchen, seemingly attracted by the smell.

We had a flooring company come out for a flooring estimate and he informed us of a large pool of water underneath the house. We decided to contact another plumber and he specified that the kitchen drain that had been recently replaced was completely detached from the line and thus everything that was coming from the kitchen was emptying underneath the house and had been for months. It was attracting all manner of insects and smelled fairly awful. He didn't speak very highly of RR and showed the poor quality of work that went into the drain replacement work they did. He provided pictures of it as well.

He advised getting a cleanup crew out to clean up the mess which we did to tune of $3000 as well as contacting RR about coming out to fix it. I was hesitate about having RR out to fix it unless a manager was here to check the work. I contacted RR and spoke with a manager and he apologized and wanted to come out that Saturday morning to look at the damage. Unfortunately he never showed up and we went with another plumber for the work. All in all we originally paid RR $1000 to replace the drain plus a cleanup crew $3000 to clean up the drainage mess underneath the house and another plumber $750 to better repair the drain.

Like I said, up to this issue we never had problems with RR and I'm really disappointed they didn't step up to handle a RR caused issue that caused us serious financial distress.
