A few days after the tankless water heater installation, a problem became apparent that was caused not by anything City Plumbing and Rooter did, but by the pipes in our 80 year old house. I called the main number on Saturday morning, and Debra contacted Steven who showed up the same day and managed to get our house converted back to a regular hot water tank in the space of a few hours. There are three things I want to say about Steven. First, he is good at diagnosis and repair of plumbing issues. Second, he is responsive and very good at scheduling his time. Third, he cares about his customers. He is just very easy to get along with. Everything about my dealings with City Plumbing and Rooter says that they value my business.

Armando to the rescue! He came promptly early afternoon and diagnosed the problem why we don't have any hot water in the house. We were given options of replacing the part or changing the whole heater and explained the pros and cons. We ended up changing the heater since it was old. After a few hours, we have hot water already. So glad for choosing this company, quick and reliable.

True professionals. Giovanni and his team at Red Lilly are amazing - professional, fair, knowledgeable, and reliable. If you are in the Silver Lake/Echo Park/Angelino Heights area, support a local business and look no further than Red Lilly. After receiving sky-high water bills, we were desperate to find a plumber who could identify and fix the problem. Gio diagnosed the issue quickly. Not only did he do an excellent job with the work, he educated us about how to conserve more water going forward. He even gave us his cell number so we could be in touch directly - that's great customer service. We can't thank Red Lilly enough!

Tried to fix a malfunctioning backyard hose valve myself, on a Saturday no doubt, and totally destroyed the thing! I went to Home Depot to find a replacement and discovered (after 2 trips) that the (1) the valve design changed since 1976 and (2) it needed to be welded to be replaced!  WHAT!! Now my water is off and the wife is staring me down.....on a Saturday!!!

So, I ran to my PC, checked Yelp and for an available plumber, on a weekend and near my house! I found Sal's, who is in Torrance (I'm in the Southbay) and is OPEN on Sat!  I called, explained my problem (I left out my DIY details) and was told someone would be there in a hour.

Marvin arrives, pleasant and knowledgeable. Since he was here, I asked for a slight modification to raise the valve a bit higher off my putting green. He said no problem.

45 mins later, I was up and running!! Nice elbows, clean weld and a new 2017 valve.

I will keep Sal's Plumbing in my cell for future needs. And, I realized that plumbing is not my thing!! (electricity either!!)

What an awesome service this little gem is! So glad I came across it on Yelp! The management coordinated an absolute perfect delivery that I ordered from another company with an installation, right on time!

The tech was quite professional as well, of course so much credit must go to the man who did the incredible job! He came in, worked fast, clearly has a bit of OCD because he left the bathroom SPOTLESS. In, out, done. I literally didn't even know he was here he worked so efficiently!

Amazing service! Response time was impeccable, and John was super easy to deal with. Very reasonable price for the top-notch service you get. Had an emergency plumbing situation on a Sunday and John was on-site within an hour. Very pleasant to deal with, swift and efficient service. Highly recommended.

Update on 11/27/2017: David came over today to fix a problem with our gas range. He researched the problem in advance so he was prepared and then he found the problem and fixed it all in 10 minutes, total. He also offered to take a look at a recent repair on my toilet that another plumber had made when David wasn't available, to make sure it was done correctly. Once again, I found him to be smart, reliable, reasonably priced, and very good at figuring things out (and explaining them). I highly recommend him.

I don't write Yelp reviews very often, but I've hired Dave of Wallace Plumbing several times and think he really deserves my taking the time to give a review. Dave is friendly guy and a great plumber. I have called him at least 5 times for three different properties (two houses and a condo). He always responds super promptly, which as you know is very helpful when there's a plumbing emergency! He has fixed drains, leaks, water pressure problems, and even properly re-installed a toilet that had been installed wrong by another plumber. He will point out something that might need work in the future but his philosophy is if it ain't broke, don't fix it and he doesn't try to gouge you by having him fix something now that doesn't need it yet. He's very honest, and will tell you if it's something he doesn't think he can fix because it requires a big crew or equipment he doesn't have. He's very generous with his time and advice: In one instance, we had a water heater that was leaking and the company rep came and diagnosed the problem as something very complicated. I consulted Dave by phone, sent him photos, he consulted with a friend who is an expert in water heaters, and they diagnosed the problem correctly. He did this as a favor, to keep me from going down the rabbit hole with the water heater company. Anyway, I highly recommend him.

These guys are fantastic. Our heater and water heater both quit within two weeks of each other, so they were out at our place several times around the holidays to get it fixed. Riley is most polite and fantastic at his job. Our landlord is really happy with their service, too. I can't recommend them more than enough. Hot water is working, heater is working, we are happy.

Recently I had an issue regarding previous work Prodigy had done. I couldn't imagine it was done intentionally and so I made attempts to notify Prodigy of my concerns. Aside from a slightly rocky start, my issue was taken seriously and Prodigy immediately and actively engaged with me to reach a satisfactory outcome.

I have a very busy schedule but Prodigy made sure to make reasonable efforts to keep reaching out to me, letting me know they haven't forgotten my issue and were available and dedicated in taking the corrective measures necessary at my earliest availability.

I realise anyone can make a mistake, and it's what we do when these mistakes are brought to our attention that truly define us. So let me say I praise this company for honoring a good-faith agreement during a previous incident and making a bad situation a great opportunity to show me that at its core, this company cares about its clients.

We had an issue with our hot water heater/ pilot light and Carrera's Plumbing helped service us right away! We called after hours and Paxton arrived promptly at 8 AM the next day. He called 3 different suppliers to find the necessary parts, went to go pick them up, and returned back to our house immediately. He and his assistant were done with the installation in less than 40 minutes! They were quick and efficient at installing the new parts we needed.

Just a few days after our water heater was fixed, our kitchen sink became clogged (go figure!). Once again, we texted Paxton after hours and he responded promptly and scheduled to come back the following day to repair our clogged sink.

I had a clogged drain in the late evening and needed a plumber to come by on short notice. Non Stop Plumbing was quick to respond and sent someone out in an hour and fixed the problem swiftly. Very professional and courteous and would highly recommend.

late sunday night and my daughter says something is happening in my bathroom. I went in to find an inch of smelly water on the tile floor with a familiar smell beginning to assault us. we quickly cleaned up while my wife went to yelp to find help. I knew enough to turn off water and grab rubber gloves and shoes to clean this vile water, now very settled in. mainline plumbers promised to be here early this morning. their team showed up and quickly cleaned the roots from our pipes and fixed our short term issues. both men were polite and efficient allowing me to watch the video and explain each step of the way. I will be calling them again.

Called T-Max to locate a leak in my garage. Tony was responsive and reliable.  He located the leak and fixed it quickly and provided exceptional service.  I would recommend this business!

Found John/RJ Plumbing on yelp! Got an appointment with him within 48 hours and he did a great job installing some new bathroom faucets and fixing one of our annoying running toilets. He was super polite, professional, and extremely reasonable on price. I will definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone needing plumbing services.

Very happy with Alex installing 2 faucets, valves and supply lines. He arrived when he said he would arrive. He did what he said he would do. No mess. No fuss. He charged what he said he would charge. He communicates. He answers questions. He follows up. Good customer service. Would use again.

Sal's is great.  It's been a fun day when I woke up to find an old sediment filter had blown off the side of my house to unleash a river down my driveway to the street.  Call Sal's first to get me in the queue...Given I had to shut off water, I called around to a few places.  

Other company came first and quoted me a VERY large number after commenting that my backyard was bigger than he thought.   A couple calls later and Luis from Sal's was here (despite me maybe canceling them).  Luis took one look and quoted me 2 prices:  

1 very low for a temporary fix if I just wanted to put back in a sediment filter.
1 quote for 1/2 the price (maybe even lower) of the other guy to permanently replace the ineffective filter with permanent solution.

I took option 2, and he was done in under and hour.  

Can't rave enough about how professional Luis was and how he advised me on ways to not waste money.  Additionally, the work is very clean and well done.  

Fantastic job all around with Luis and even the schedulers!  I'll be calling them up to replace my water heater when it kicks the bucket...

Hello everyone. Tonight I had a problem with my main drain. The drain became clogged after 9:30 pm. Called many plumbers. You know at this time of night, not too many plumbers answer their calls. Thanks to Rodrigo Melgoza of Major League Plumbing, he responded to my request within 20 mins through Yelp. We chatted for a moment and he was willing to come out and snake my drain in the middle of the night. He showed up in a timely manner, he wore a mask, and shoe covers when he entered my house. Very professional and courteous. He knew exactly what to do. He worked on this project for about 20 mins. He then went to verify that the drain was cleared and the water was flowing out to the main drain with no issues. For my emergency call in the middle of the night, he charged a fair price for awesome work. I will definitely recommend Rodrigo Melgoza to everyone who needs a plumber. Thanks again to Rodrigo Melgoza for saving the night.
