Honest, trustworthy, and professional. Broc came to remove an old toilet and install a new one. He identified problems with the job, recognized it required special equipment, and did not charge for the visit. I am so pleased he did NOT do what I asked-- start and leave it half finished if necessary. his professional judgment was supported when the building engineer said the toilet we ordered did not have the proper mount.

The customer service was great, both from Deborah on the phone and from Mike the plumber. I called to get repairs on a clogged drain and toilet flushing issue and they were able to send Mike to my apartment within 2 hours and fix it very quickly and professionally. The prices seemed very good relative to others I called. Very honest, nice, and efficient- would recommend!

Armando is great! Reliable and does an excellent job. He helped us when our pipe under the sink wore through and started leaking. I recommend him highly.

We had red Lilly come over and give us a proposal for installing the full house filtration system last week The proposal that I accepted was for $795. They were supposed to come over today and perform the installation.

They first said they will be here 8:00-10-00, then due to rain delays (I can understand it) they were delayed. At around 11::00 Ed stoped by.  He took another look at the project and told me they can't do it for anything less than $1200. A 50% increase in what was proposed and signed. His reasoning was that the initial estimate was for 3/4 inch piping but what should have been estimated was for 1 inch piping.
His argument was that the 1 inch piping and hardware would cost $300. Well 3/4 inch piping and hardware was not going be $0 either and I dont't accept that the difference would be $400.
Mistakes do happen, however we had a signed proposal... they backed off their proposal...
Not a very good way of starting a relationship if you ask me...

Have to agree with the others who feel taken advantage of.  

The guy showed up on time and fixed the problem, but his work was never approved by me nor did we discuss repair pricing.  He was only brought in to diagnose the issue.  Next thing I know I'm being presented with an outrageous invoice, and he got angry when I questioned it.  

My regular plumber stopped by yesterday and inspected the work.  He says I overpaid by 2-3 times what anyone else would charge.

What a scam.  If you value your money look elsewhere.  They got one over on me this time, but I will never use them again nor recommend them to anyone I know.

David rocks!

David continues to save my bacon.  I had a shower that wasn't working, and guests that were coming into town the next day.  David came, and problem solved a complex (old) shower valve, and got it working again in no time.  He is always very responsive and helpful.  I cannot recommend him enough.

Ryan J came first thing this morning. I had low pressure in my kitchen sink and explained to him what I knew. He explained some potential causes checking it out step by step. He ended up fixing a kink and changing out the angle stops and I was good to go. Awesome job and I was really pleased.

I Called Prodigy Plumbing because of all the positive Yelp reviews. I was a little concerned since we had a limited window to have plumbers come in and have them inspect the plumbing on a home we were considering buying. They were able to accommodate our hectic schedule with ease. Alexis and Jose came out and throughly inspected the whole house and took their time and gave us their honest assessment. They were respectful, kind, and patient with all the questions we had. The Dream team spared no little detail and helped us make our decision and gave us true piece of mind. I even had a question after their visit and Alexis called back quickly and promptly.
I'm definitely calling Prodigy Plumbing and asking for Alexis and Jose by name for any of my future plumbing needs!

My husband was fixing a leak in our bathtub and had an issue with some cartridge getting stuck inside a valve? (Not too familiar with plumber lingo, but basically some part was super stuck and prevented my husband from fixing it) He was frustrated, me and the kids were frustrated with having our water off almost all day and I had to figure something out. But it was 12am, so I was extra frustrated.  I went on yelp and looked up 24 hr plumber and saw a few that stood out, so I sent a request for quote directly through the app and I received a response from Non-Stop Plumbing within 10 min. Super professional  asked me a few questions, and for a pic of the problem. He quoted me $250 for after hours response and to do the job. This was definitely very reasonable and appreciated. He arrived by 1am and was out within an hour. He was efficient, professional, nice, and so quiet with the whole process (which was extra amazing because my kids were all asleep and their rooms are very close the the bathroom) He had his cc swiper available, so I used my card to pay. He also accepts cash and Venmo payment. I feel relieved that if any future problems come up, I already have a go-to option that I can count on.
I 100% recommend Non stop for your Plumbing needs.

I can't say enough good things about mainline plumbing I've used them twice one on a total bathroom redo and also just now on an emergency water heater problem. They were there within 45 minutes and beat every other quote I found. I love these people finding a good plumber is everyone's biggest problem and Mainline Plumbing is forever my plumber of choice.  Call and talk to Ranelle she knows what you need and has the best crews I've ever worked with.  There not some dirty smelly crew in a beat up truck tracking grease all over your house.  You all know what I'm talking about.  They are professional, efficient and don't try to up charge you with unnecessary work.

Called T-Max to locate a leak in my garage. Tony was responsive and reliable.  He located the leak and fixed it quickly and provided exceptional service.  I would recommend this business!

D&D's is more than GREAT.  This is a local family owned business in NELA that is AWESOME.  
I generally start my Yelp search for services looking for local small/family owned businesses with 5-star ratings and recent reviews.  Due to the COVID pandemic and now being on a fixed income, I had delayed various maintenance issues and have been tackling them as best that I could given finances and stress.  This past week, the bathroom sink pull-up assembly, i.e., stopper got stuck and water could not be drained out.  The kitchen sink Delta faucet mounting was loose and wobbly, so I ordered the mounting bracket.  However, the bigger delayed service needed was the extremely slow draining of the shower and basically no draining of the bathtub (which meant no baths.
I AM SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND D&D'S ON YELP.  
I had initially requested a quote from a highly reviewed NELA plumbing business and they did not even bother to reply.  I then contacted the next one that was also in NELA.  The only good things that I can say about this business is that they were prompt in getting back to me, scheduling me for a free estimate the next morning, and sending me a written estimate.  I had prepared myself for an expenditure of a few hundred dollars.  I also thought that the slow drainage would be due to a clog and only require snaking.  I did not anticipate quotes of $175 for the kitchen faucet, being told that my entire pull-up assembly in the bathroom sink had to be replaced and that would be $250.  However, the big one that floored, stressed, and made me highly skeptical was the exorbitantly high quote of $6800 and that I had to totally replace the galvanized sewer line. No options/phasing were presented.  I asked if for now could they at least snake the drain.  Told that would not help. I had to ask them to at least un-stick the pull-up assembly so that I could use my bathroom sink.  They did and charged me $100.  When I asked if they took credit cards, I was told there would be an additional 3% charge.
I IMMEDIATELY WENT BACK TO DO A YELP SEARCH FOR A SECOND OPINION AND FOUND D&D'S REASONABLE PLUMBING  
Deanne called me back within minutes.  She was able to reach Dave and they scheduled me for early the next morning.  Dave arrived promptly at 7:30 a.m.  He inquired as to all of my issues.  He immediately checked my kitchen faucet and proceeded to go under the sink to inspect the problem.  He found that the mounting bracket part that I had ordered and thought was missing was actually still there and required to be tightened, which he did and WOW - my kitchen faucet is totally fixed and no longer wobbling.
Dave then went to my bathroom and checked the bathroom pull-up assembly and discovered that the lever was still not connected.  Dave fixed that too.  Dave then moved onto the shower drainage.  He ran the snake first and cleared out some of that accumulated yecchy hair.  Dave then went under my house to inspect my sewer lines.  He took videos and informed me that the shower drain was not connected to the sewer line and was draining directly to the dirt under my house.  Dave thoroughly explained to me the condition of my sewer line and the existence of this health hazard.  He gave me a very reasonable quote, which included replacing roughly 40' of galvanized sewer pipe or the option for me to split it into 2 phases.  Fix the immediate shower drain and galvanized-PVC connection issue or do it all now.
Dave's quote was less than half of the prior exorbitant estimate.  Dave listened to my concerns and was understanding that this was a major expense for me.  He told me that it would be a 1 to 2-day job and the sewer line replacement would  have a lifetime warranty.  He also told me that I would not have water for about 2 hours.  It was a no-brainer for me to select D&D's and give the go-ahead.
Dave then left to send me a written description of the work to be performed with the lifetime warranty.  He and his assistant returned within the hour and started work under my house.  Dave completed the sewer line replacement the same day.  He had me run the water from all the fixtures in my bathroom and kitchen so he could check for leaks.  The shower was draining, but the bathtub was not draining.  So they snaked it and when that didn't work they went back under the house and found that the tub was also not connected.  D&D's fixed that and had to purchase a special part.  
Dave even fixed the crawlspace cover, cleaned up and removed all the galvanized pipes before he left.  He did not charge me for the kitchen faucet and the bathroom sink.
Dave and Deanne, otherwise known as D&D's Reasonable Plumbing, are now my go-to for all future plumbing issues, and I have already passed their contact information to friends with my strong recommendation.  They are honest, thorough, efficient, and considerate of the customer.  I now have peace of mind and all of my plumbing is working smoothly.  Thanks Dave and Deanne.

John came in and worked very professionally to replace my garbage disposal. He first tried to repair the existing, even though I was ready for a new one. He seems to have the consumer's best interest in mind.

My shower drain was clogged. Very efficient, professional, and friendly service. I highly recommend it.

Dave from Sal's Plumbing came out to my house today to fix my garbage disposal and he got it working right away! This is much appreciated.

We bought a house in January and the GC installed a low flow sink faucet for our beautiful standalone bathtub in the master bathroom instead of bathtub faucet. After 11 months of it taking 15 mins just to fill it up 6 inches for our toddler's nightly baths, we decided to call Rodrigo, who was referred to us by a friend. Rodrigo is kind, communicative, and thorough. He helped us select a new tub faucet and spent half a day going through our kitchen cabinet wall to replace it from the back. He did such an amazing job that you would never know the faucet had been replaced! I took my first bath in our house the next day and couldn't be happier. Who knew having a properly filling bathtub would be such a game changer? Thank you Rodrigo! We'll be calling him for all our plumbing needs moving forward.
