Ian just completed a big project to repower our boat dock.  It had a variety of moving parts and took lots of planning.  We are really happy with the work and he is a pleasure to work with.  Ian has also worked on upgrades to our house interior and the work is always excellent.

I had a few dead power outlets in the living room that I hired two technician earlier both failed to figure out the problem, which costs lots of time and money. B & G was my third attempt before I give up.
Garret root-caused the problem quickly after asked me a few questions about previous remodel project done in the affected area. He than quickly test his assumption and rewire the connections. Garret fixed the issue within 30 minutes and help fixing a few other electrical related problem as well in the house. I couldn't be more satisfied, definitely will use their service in the future.

Awesome service. I came to the warehouse because the retail store didn't actually carry the lamp I was looking at (it only had one on the showroom but not one boxed and ready to go). When I explained to the service guy at the warehouse that, really, all I needed was a new lampshade for a hard-to-fit fixture since the lamp itself actually worked fine, he went to  the back and - voila! - found one that would fit my fixture and offered it to me. Made my day!

I live in an old house so pinstalling a fan up and a chandelier was no easy task. The electrician came with all the supplies and the knowledge to get it done in a professional manner.

Scheduled a 3 hour window for a small job for which I took the afternoon off to accommodate. Got a VM an hour early from Alex saying he's on the way. I tried calling back but no answer, called the company and he's already moved onto another job (before my confirmed time frame would have started). I suppose my small job wasn't enough of a bother. Unprofessional and unreliable. Plenty of better rated electricians to try.

He efficiently diagnosed my various electrical issues and gave me a fair quote for the copious amount of work my 1970's condo needed to be brought into this century. With an attention to detail you don't see often in construction and a level of customer service that astounded me, he blew my expectations out of the water and has made my home look and feel like a whole new place. He walked me through lighting choices, and even gave me the opportunity to provide my own fixtures, if I wanted to. I will call him again for any future electrical needs and I have already recommended him to friends and will continue to do so in the future. Friendly, helpful, quick, and covid-safe. I needed a new outlet/switch combo installed. Boo was very responsive, Ryder came out to do the job and was professional and friendly. My existing wiring was weird which made the job more complicated than expected but Ryder was communicative about it and did a great job. Highly recommend.

Our split unit was leaking water into our home. Thom came out and did a phenomenal job with notifying us of all of the concerns. He was timely, professional, and personable. He treated our home with respect and made us feel like valued customers. We plan to use Mercurio for all of our heating and cooling needs in the future. This was a great experience. My new go-to electrical company. We had an electrical problem and were feeling very desperate so I called ANM.  They were super responsive and sent Kevin, a pro, and very personable. Kevin showed up within a couple of hours of my call.  He got the job done quickly and I have their number in my book. This is the company I will call whenever an electrical problem arises.

Good communication. Free and fair estimate. Electrician arrived on time and replaced the faulty switch with a new timer switch.

Professional, knowledgeable. Team is very skilled and provide high quality work.  Permits submitted when necessary and reasonable turn around times.

Frank was quick to respond to our request. Came out the next day for what we hoped was a quick repair, but ended up being more involved. He gave us a fair quote, pulled necessary permits and had it fixed a couple days later. Would definitely hire Power Pros. if we need electrical help again.

I have been looking for an electrician for a few years. Brad is terrific. He knows what he's doing and makes sure the job is done right. He shows up on time, is professional but has a great sense of humor. Love love love Brad!

Worst experience I've ever had.  A guy who thinks he knows everything  came out to give me an estimate.  He told me how great his team was and how his electricians are super special people with super special skills and how they were going to fix everything because apparently he knows everything.  In reality, he barely listened to what I needed and sent people out unprepared.  He is a salesman who is never wrong--how fun for the customer!

His guys came out.  I was told they'd be at my place for a full day.  He was late when he came to give me the estimate and his guys were late when they came to do the work.  I asked them to help me get a ceiling fan to work, install a light and install a dimmer switch for a separate light.  

The estimator guy didn't bother looking at the light before sending his guys out.  AFTER the electricians drilled a hole in my wall, he said he couldn't install the light because it wasn't up to code in the US.  Could the estimator who knows everything or the electrician doing the work LOOK at the light before agreeing to do the work and before drilling a hole in my wall?  In my case, apparently not.  I followed up with the manufacturer of the light and was told they actually are up to code in the US and have been selling their lights with no issue for over 6 years in the US.  Since I am not an electrician, I trusted the guys I was paying and let them leave without installing the light. I have since found two different electricians dumbfounded by this chain of events and I was able to install my light.  

The second issue was the ceiling fan.  I'd had it installed and there was electricity running to the fan but the fan (that used a remote control) would not turn on.  Since I was assured it was a problem his super special electricians could fix with no issue, I was not worried about it.  I checked on them but was mostly in front of my computer working in another room.  After the electricians had been in my home for less than 4 hours (not even close to all day) I heard vacuums and whatnot.   The super special guys came out with more bad news on their way out the door!  They couldn't figure out why the fan didn't work.  They said there was power to the fan and it should work so I must have a bad fan.  I asked if they could hook up the fan to another electrical source to confirm it was a bad fan.  They called the estimator and put him on the phone with me.  Again, they were already packed up and ready to go before telling me they couldn't figure out why the fan wouldn't work.

The estimator guy who knows everything proceeded to tell me over the phone the issue was that I had a bad fan and he wasn't going to have his guys spend more time at my place to check another electric source.  When I said they hadn't even been here 4 hours and he told me they'd be there all day, he told me they'd arrived at the ECO office at 7 AM.  They didn't show up to my place until almost 10 AM so how is that relevant to me?  Even if 7 AM is when their clock started, it wasn't even 2:00 yet.  A full day of work would be between 3 and 4PM depending on breaks.

When I explained that he was leaving me with the same problem I had before his super special guys had been there, his only answer was that  I had a bad fan.  Again, he did not listen to what I needed or what the problem was when he came out, only that he knew everything and he was sure they could fix it.  Well, they didn't.  Did I mention he was YELLING at me over the phone?  Again, a super fun customer experience. At the end of this cluster, I paid over $600 to get a dimmer switch installed and for them to leave me with a hole in my wall and a fan that didn't work and was no closer figuring out why.  So much for ECO being super special and able to do everything.

Since then, an electrician who is kind to customers and actually knows what he's doing figured out the remote control on the fan had not been configured correctly.  The fan worked fine.  ECO's super special electricians had not even considered the remote control as being an issue.  

I have told everyone I know about how bad this experience was with ECO and I hope this review on Yelp will also be enough encouragement for the reader to choose another electrician.  Do not be fooled by ECO.  It was the single worst customer experience of my life.

We needed sconces that can turn on and off individually, and we bought the only pair they carried. Good thing I liked them cause that was the big choice. Parking was bad, even on a Saturday morning, and we were blocked into the parking lot and had to go back in and ask for the car to be moved. Then we had to wait for endless trains to cross to get TO and FROM the warehouse where we had to pick up the fixture. I can't imagine what a headache it would have been on a week day. But all in all, the staff was quick and helpful, and I think we'll be happy with our purchase.

I have used Southwest before and been extremely satisfied (which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1), but recently we had a water leak that required a plumber to be called. Southwest is a straight price company vs hourly work company. In the case of the work that was done, it was communicated to me that the job would cost a certain amount, which seemed a bit high to me, but at the same time the plumber communicated that it was a complicated job to do and would take a while so we approved the work. We should have known better. They were in and out in 3 hours, and while they did good work, we were charged well over $400 an hour to do the work. The manager maintained that we saved a lot of money because we weren't charged for pulling out and reseating the toilet (due to the water damage the floor has to be replaced so the toilet wasn't going to be reseat anyway). I was a repeat customer, but I will be finding a new go-to plumber.
