ANM Electric Inc

I'm a bit of a nosy homeowner when it comes to contractors.  I hover around, ask questions, and am picky about how work gets done, especially the first time I'm working with someone new.  ANM sent out two techs to support an AC install and run some additional outlets for me.  Not only were they happy to answer all my questions and not miss a step, their work was very clean and they explained everything they did along the way and involved me when a decision had to be made.  

Half way through the job, I found out I needed something else done, and they picked up that task without question, which turned out to need more time than anticipated.  Holes in sheetrock were required and they patched things up so that all that is needed is some fresh mud.  

Very happy with the work and will be using ANM for future electrical contractor needs!

I was having issues with my wall heater and was unsure if it was the heater or the thermostat. She took a significant amount of time and spoke with me about it. Through our fairly indepth conversation, we came to I would buy both and then the electrician would figure out which it was when they got here. Easy for them and saves me money. Yay!

As I was trying to find the same heater it took awhile. There were a few added calls as I wanted a socket replaced as well. I had went to Home Depot and was completely overwhelmed. She was so good to help me figure out which one.

All that said. As I do like to save money, which I wished they were just a bit less expensive, I did call around thereafter. I called at least 6 different electricians. Majority I couldn't understand, or they asked me things I just had said to them and/or didn't seem to want to really take any time to listen. One I called, lots of noise in the background. They quoted me $99 just to come out and then they would price quote me. Even stating what I had said to Meadow and that I would buy both. After knowing I wasn't going to use them, I mentioned the noise, and he said he was at a bar having a beer. Found ANM were well worth the price Meadow quoted.

Really, these are the people.

Once I got everything, Meadow got me in the books right away. Nicholas was to be here at 7:30 am. Loved that he texted he was running 15 mins late. He was really nice and knowledgeable. To my surprise, he was saying goodbye, and I said wait who do I pay? They are sending invoice in the mail. Who does that? :-)

Absolutely nothing bad to say. Will wait til I get the invoice but pretty sure I know what it will be per Meadows and mine's conversation.

Update: I did get the invoice. Close to $100 more than I thought. Dropping a star.

Was referred to ANM by another contractor.  I spoke with Andrew several times over the course of two months, patiently waiting for him to take a look at my project, and he would never get back to me.

Always took the easy option and refused to do any of my requests. Then they sent me a bill that is 50% over the estimate in the mail. Other than that they got the job done, and the general quality seems good.

I wanted to do a panel upgrade from an old-style 6-mains to a modern 200 A mains, and got several quotes. During the quote process, ANM had the best response time with correct answers. ANM only asked for pictures of the work area without coming out - saving everyone's time and CO2. The electricians who actually did the work showed up 2 minutes before the arranged time, were easy to talk to, and did a great job all around. They scheduled the inspector for the next day and he was impressed by their work - as per usual, he said.
There was only one odd experience during the quoting process, where I didn't hear back for a few days and called them. They took care of it immediately as my email had honestly slipped through without them answering. So, to sum it up: if things go wrong somehow, I would trust ANM to do it right.

We'd been struggling with the hot water tank and going back and forth on if it was the tank or the circuit breaker and panel. This was going on for a week so no hot water for 3 girls living in the house. Andrew with ANM came out yesterday in the evening, probably after a long day, and figured out the problem almost immediately. One of the elements was out in the tank so he worked some electrician magic and made it so just the working element was getting electricity. This stopped the tripping of the circuit breaker and gave us hot water! Just waiting for the replacement part now but that wouldn't even have been possible without ANM electric and Andrew. I highly recommend this company. They are responsive and knowledgeable and I have no doubt they can fix the problem.

ANM Electric was one of the companies recommended by neighbors in my neighbourhood FB group that I contacted for an estimate to replace the electrical panel and thermostat in my rented Condo. Their estimate was not the highest nor the lowest, but their communication was excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and coordinated with my Condo association's management company, PSE for access to the meters and my Landlord for permission to work on his unit and approval / agreement to pay for the work.

Nick was the assigned electrician, and he arrived on time (plus 1!). A personable young man (so... anyone under 40 is young), maintained all COVID-19 precautions, removed his shoes, was careful of my cats (he had cats himself) and kept me informed as he worked on the job. I had the windows open to help with ventilation (fortunately it was not a cold rainy day) but Nick kept his mask on the entire time he was in my place.

The job was completed, the panel properly labeled, all appliances / lights tested, and he assured me that if I discovered anything not right or outlets not working, that they would come out and fix it.

Here's a recommendation of going with a contractor in your neighborhood. When he pulled out the panel, the collar that's supposed to corral the cables leading to the panel fell with a clunk - because it was not the correct part and not connected. He called his office and they brought the part out. If I had gone with the cheaper quote from the outfit in Auburn, he would have had to run out to Home Depot and find the part - resulting in a longer time on the job and me without electricity.

Nick did a spiffy job pulling out the old panel - NO damage to the wall around it, and also did a great job keeping his work area neat and tidy with a liner and throwing all waste into a box so he had minimal cleanup to do - and vacuumed up every bit of dust when he was done.

Two thumbs up to ANM Electric - I will recommend you as well if anyone needs an electrician.

The company demonstrated amazing customer service and expertise.  It has done work for our condo association and owners in the complex.  I can't say enough good things about the ownership and field electricians.  Honesty is of utmost importance to me.  Combing honesty and competence is a winning combination.

ANM is phenomenal. All of their contractors are super friendly and attentive and they clearly care about not just doing a job but doing it the way you want it. They were happy to answer questions, were extremely tidy, and performed high quality work at a very reasonable price.

We have some new projects coming up later in the year and I'm already confident that ANM are the people to contact.

We just bought our home in Redmond. The house had gone through major renovation and ANM did the electrical.
We found one outlet that was not working properly and we called ANM. They have been very responsive and took care of this in less than a week. In addition of being very professional, they were also very nice and it is always a pleasure to work with local businesses and people who care about their neighborhood.

My new go-to electrical company. We had an electrical problem and were feeling very desperate so I called ANM.  They were super responsive and sent Kevin, a pro, and very personable. Kevin showed up within a couple of hours of my call.  He got the job done quickly and I have their number in my book. This is the company I will call whenever an electrical problem arises.

ANM Electric installed an 11Kw generator for me in a home I had purchased.  Andrew and his team were outstanding. They gave me a prompt and excellent evaluation of my needs and options.  The other well-known vendor never showed up. The installation went smoothly:  new back-up circuit board, wiring, gas line installation, and the generator itself. The quality of the work was outstanding,  The building inspector said that he rarely sees such good work.  ANM has also provided prompt follow-up service after the initial 20-hour run-in.  I highly recommend them.  Plus, the generator really saved my bacon when we had an 18-hour power outages during the NFL playoffs.
