Seatown was great! Dillon arrived promptly for an estimate. After examining our gas line, he realized that he was missing a specialty part but instead of scheduling a new time he ran to a local hardware store to pick it up. He was back in 10 minutes and quickly finished the work needed on our gas line. It was quick, easy, and done well.

I hired Pax Electric to install a Nema 14-50 outlet in my garage. Nick was great; he was professional, friendly, and did the work quickly and effectively. Obtained multiple quotes from local companies and Nick gave me a very competitive quote through email.
Pax would be my go-to place for all my home electrical needs.

I hired Electri-city's services to install a pair of Tesla electric car chargers on a single breaker using the load-sharing feature of the updated Tesla wall connector model released in early 2016. My installation was complicated by the fact that my home already had a backup power generator with an automatic transfer switch to keep my home powered during grid outages, but the system didn't have enough power to run the wall connectors at the same time, and in any event Tesla explicitly cautioned against using their hardware with private generators.
Electri-city went beyond my expectations by researching the problem and discussing it with Tesla representatives directly, and they eventually found a solution by using a rare type of breaker that they ordered from some place in Las Vegas. The work was completed a couple months ago and their solution has been working well. By contrast, the other local electrician firm that I got a quote from didn't make any attempt to find a solution to the generator issue AND quoted a higher cost for the job (which would have excluded the special breaker that Electri-city used). So Electri-city provided better service at a lower price.
It did however take Electri-city a couple months to figure out how to handle my situation, and they also had to come back after the installation to add additional bushings after the permit inspection, so it wasn't perfect, but overall I am very happy with Electri-city's service.

They were great in replacing our electric panel. We had a Zinsco and needed it replaced because of the fire hazard.

I showed up at my appointment ahead of time. No estimator came. I called office and office said she will call estimator.
Owner called back and apologized, as owner had sent estimator to another job.
Owner said he had called in the morning but never left message.
I said I will wait for owner. It takes 40 minutes to go to job site, so I would rather wait than leave and return. Owner said it would take him 1-1/2 hours to come, and declined.
Owners apologized, but I wasted 1.5 hours.

Shawn gave an honest quote up front based on what I shared. The team was on time, professional and did a great job communicating the diagnostics and solutions. The price was exactly what I expected. If you're looking for an honest company to do great work, give them a shot!

It's places like Dickson Electric that make me regret in being too liberal with my 5-star reviews because this place is THE BEST and I have saved their information as I will be going with them from here on out.
Not only are they on time, do great work, ultra clean and professional, but they see small stuff that other teams would miss AND they ask if you want that fixed up at no cost!

Tapps Electric is either incompetent, dishonest, or both. The owner Will is rude, unhelpful, and does not care about customers. I lost count of how many times Tapps Electric provided false information and did not return calls and messages left to the office. Multiple estimates for different jobs I received were incomplete or contained false information. Due diligence and professionalism were totally absent. Only after work finished and failed was I told that if I wanted anything to actually work, it would cost 4x the original quote, even though everything was identified before work started. Either it was known the planned job wouldn't work but work proceeded anyway, or it should have been known the job wouldn't work based on the facts that were identified in advance. Those explanations reduce to dishonesty or incompetence. The owner says it's not their problem. Responsibility appears to be a foreign concept to Tapps Electric.
In addition to the false information, general incompetence, and waste-of-your-time owner, Tapps Electric technicians also quit the company and left in the middle of a job, damaged my interior walls, left behind giant messes of debris and garbage each time at each site, left the job as done when it wasn't, caused my overhead wires to smoke and burn which could have burned down my garage, no-showed on appointments to troubleshoot a failed installation after I had paid in full, and wouldn't return phone calls about the no-shows. This install was supposed to take one day, and instead it took more than two months of failed visits, unreturned calls, and no-shows for the owner to say 'too bad, we took your money and nothing works, and we knew it wouldn't work or should have, but that's your problem'.
Do yourself a favor and avoid Will and Tapps Electric.

I called and left a message yesterday. Business opens at 8, but I haven't received a call. It is 8:37am. So far, my experience is I have not experienced their expertise regarding my issue. However, regarding customer service, so far I'm not impressed.

We had a complete re-wiring at our recently purchased house and Cisco Electric did an excellent job:
1. Frankie came for initial assessment and he was very thorough. Although their final bid price came out more than some other bids, they actually covered most items and their per-item cost are either on-par or even lower than other bids, so we decided to go with them.
2. Noel and Frankie came to do the actual work and we were really satisfied with their work: a. they minimized the openings needed to be cut out in the drywall, and this helped us keeping the cost of repairing drywall down; b. they identified some small additional works needed and fixed them as well; c. they kept the place clean.
3. They are very accommodating to our needs and requests. During the re-wiring work, I had drywall repairs guys coming in for estimate and they walked through the house with the drywall estimator. They also went above and beyond in helping us getting the electrical work inspected. Maria from their office also helped out.
4. They are honest with their work and charged us less when they realized that certain work in the initial bid were not needed. With some additional work that need to be done, the final price came out about the same as the bid.
Overall it was very experience working with Frankie and his team. I highly recommend them and would go to them for any future projects.

It's a good thing Micah decided to close his doors because he is in over his head. After reading the other reviews again, because it was these reviews that brought us to him to begin with, I see why their reviews are what they were. He probably did squeeze people into his busy schedule because he didn't show a number of days to our project! He was either at another clients house, his truck broke down, or just didn't show at all. We hired Micah to do the electrical installations to make our house smart. He probably is very good at fixing a ceiling fan and dryer outlets as noted in his other reviews, but his knowledge of smart devices is dismal as best. We have had to hire a new electrician because the drivers he installed for the switches were incorrect and now the lights dim up and down once they heat up. He also brought the Lutron bridge all lights need to communicate with so you can set scenes, access from abroad, etc., with no clue how to set it up. After contacting Lutron to find someone who could program the system, they said he should never have been able to get his hands on this product without having gone through the classes with Lutron for their products and that he must have a supplier going against the specifications set forth by Lutron. So, more money out of our pockets not only to get the correct drivers to handle the powerful LED lights, but an integrator to get the system running as intended. He is an old school trained journeyman with no ambition to learn any new systems which is where electrical world is headed and worse, created a mess and more expenses for us.
Billing: We were quoted a price for installation which included all of the product and his time of course. What was interesting is that the scope changed (meaning the soon to be new LED strip lighting on our truces changed to just flipping the existing track lighting upwards to showcase the beautiful truces and provide the accent lighting we were looking for. The billing never changed! He somehow creatively made the final bill meet the quote (without itemizing), even though this particular product was never installed. This coupled with our faulty drivers inspired us to contact him to rectify. His response was that he was not taking new clients. We were floored so we explained that we were not a new client, albeit with some dismay behind it, but apparently my 82 year old aunt's letter to him was too much for him to handle, and because he didn't like our disappointment, he said he wouldn't work with us and to find a new electrician. We tried several times, as required by the Department of Labor and Industries before filing a complaint, to take accountability but have only been met with radio silence after many many attempts to see if he will fix his errors.
He was a likable guy while he was here, and did a fantastic job creating some housing for our pendant lights, but ruined the whole experience by not taking ownership of his electrical incompetence and his billing practices. Unfortunately my aunt trusted him and paid him in full before receiving the final invoice. NEVER EVER PAY IN FULL! He presented himself as an honest church going man, but that is not the treatment we received after spending nearly 10k.

Pat was able to solve a problem with a circuit breaker that would not reset. It was truly amazing that he could quickly find an electrical short hidden inside a closet wall. The problem was from a sheet rock screw that had pierced an electrical cable from a remodel done years before. Great service. Friendly and professional. Happy with the service.

I called for a quote to have recessed lighting and ceiling fan installation done to our new home this past summer and these guys delivered great work. The quote was right in line with what I had in mind but their attention to detail was what stood out to me. Can't recommend them enough for your electrical needs.

Shout out to Allred - Heating and Cooling. After a little miscommunication in scheduling, the crew that installed our new HVAC system--Kyle, Cassidy, Lyle, Sean(?), and more--made an impossible install not only possible but looking like it was designed for the space. Respectful, thorough, responsive and thoughtful, they did a terrific job. I've used Allred since a neighbor recommended them a few years ago, and it turns out that Matt Allred serviced our old furnace 15 years ago before he and Dan started their company.

Excellent service and response time. Local community resident as well. Highly recommended. Install the electrical hook up for my Sundance Jacuzzi two years ago and I'm still very pleased with his professionalism and work.

We needed to install a new electrical outlet in the bathroom for a new Toto Washlet Toilet; also, needed to upgrade lighting in our Kitchen and add lighting to a closet. Bryan promptly returned my call and scheduled an onsite visit to assess our needs and provide an estimate; he provided good solutions and a reasonable cost estimate. The work was performed by a professional crew of three and completed in less than a day; the crew managed some unexpected issues and readily found solutions in an efficient way. The work performed was excellent and we would definitely call Big Dog for our next electrical project.

Never thought I'd have need for an electrician, but I put the word out and my contact referred me to this company. Best call I ever made. Was fortunate to get same-day service. Prompt, professional, personable, and courteous. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Crimson City Electric. THANK YOU CCE!

Okay, so I very rarely write reviews, but I feel like this one warrants the time. This is a pretty amazing story. I called PSEC in the morning around 10am and explained I had lost power in a number of outlets inside and outside the house. Initially they said they could get someone out the next morning, but later that day they had someone (Seth) available and he came out and was so helpful and informative. I was also in contact with Charlie on the phone throughout the visit discussing pricing and options. After 2 hours Seth had my problem solved and I had a significant education in what our overall issues were and many options about what to do about them. No one tried to oversell services. I have a great appreciation for that. But that's not all. Charlie texted me an invoice later that day (very reasonable price) and I wrote a check that night! So, I called, got it all fixed, billed and paid for all in one day! Amazing. I totally recommend Charlie and Seth. A great team.

5 stars is not nearly enough for Varsity Electric and Justin! I called Varsity Electric and spoke to Ryan with a huge ask of getting an electrician scheduled within the next week for a kitchen remodel that was starting. I had a short timeline because I had just received the schedule from the company we had doing the kitchen. Ryan said I was asking for a miracle and I said yes. He made it happen! Justin came out as scheduled with safety as a top priority during COVID. Justin came out and learned what we needed to do and helped us figure out the best timeline and he worked it all in to his already busy schedule to make sure we got everything done on time. We switched two lights from recessed lighting to pendent lights; he had to redo the wiring so that the pendants worked with the same switch. We had lights placed under our upper cabinets, two new chandeliers, and he even fixed our other chandelier that my husband and I put up but had an excess of chain and wiring on it. Justin finished up the project with Cody and we could not be happier. We will be calling Varsity Electric and Justin for any and ALL of our electrical needs. They are true professionals and are dedicated to delivering the best customer service. Thank you so much Varsity electric for making our kitchen remodel experience a better experience!
