The friendly staff at this company are the backbone!!! From our estimate meeting with Tyler to the crew who came out for the install.
All were transparent and gave lots of communication. Which meant a lot to us.
We opted for a ductless two unit product. We met with Tyler to discuss options on a Monday evening and by Wednesday morning we had a crew here to install. Tyler was not a pushy salesman. He gave us all the options and spent his time asking us relevant questions regarding where we wanted it and what we expected from the product.
When the install crew and electric duo arrived Wednesday. They were quick to Don shoe booties as to not get the new flooring dirty. They laid plastic down as well. If something needed to be tweaked that hadn't been discussed they sat down and walked us through the why. Which was only once. They measured twice and drilled once. Made sure items were centered before installing asked us if we were happy with where it was before going forward.
I mean they were amazing with communication. Our install team was Matt/Adam/Bill. They were polite, clean, stayed on task and made sure it was complete and working and put in a long day to make sure it was perfect. Made sure all our questions were answered. Top notch customer service!!!!
Same with our electrical duo Rich/Chuck. Polite, clean hard working. Answering any and all questions. Did not cut corners and made everything seamless.
We can not recommend the company enough especially if you are fortunate to have the six men we had.

A complete and total rip-off.  The service technician indicated the problem with my heat pump was a bad capacitor.  He quoted me a total of $950.00 including tax for the repair.  He stated the capacitor alone was $780.00.  While standing there I checked the part number on Amazon for the exact part.  Amazon's price was $27.45 (see below) for the identical part he was holding in his hand.  I showed him my screen and he just shrugged and said yea, we're a little high.

Our heat pump was not operating properly and a Mercurios technician came to look at it. His advice was to forget about fixing it and to replace it with an A/C unit. And while we were at it to replace the furnace. He claimed it would save money overall because the new units were more efficient. Um, no.

The installers left without bothering to program the thermostat. I could have figured it out myself, but it should have been done by the installers. They sent someone out to explain the thermostat. It all seemed good until I realized later that the thermostat they used wasn't even as good as the old one they removed. The new one doesn't automatically switch from heating to cooling, it must be done manually. This is especially annoying during spring and fall months.

After about 15 months of use, a part in the furnace failed and I was told we would have to pay for a replacement.

As I receive energy bills I can honestly report that the new more efficient system is not saving a penny. So, thousands spent on replacements for not much in return. The a/c does perform better than the heat pump, but nothing else has improved.

Mercurio's helped me find a solution to a very tight placement of a heat pump.  Super responsive and pleasant and really seem to know their stuff. It's been wonderful to have that in place as summer begins.

Our split unit was leaking water into our home. Thom came out and did a phenomenal job with notifying us of all of the concerns. He was timely, professional, and personable. He treated our home with respect and made us feel like valued customers. We plan to use Mercurio for all of our heating and cooling needs in the future. This was a great experience. We highly recommend!

We've used Mercurios since moving back to the PNW a year ago. It started with a furnace that died and a great technician who was in call that cold night. The relationship continued to having the furnace re-wired for the installation of a smart thermostat and future AC. That day they also moved the thermostat location for us. They do (or did) thermostat wiring for a flat fee based on the number of floors they have to transit - so it was a good deal to get it moved at the same time.  From there we expanded to an AC consultation (especially after hitting 105) last summer. Our consultant was fantastic and the bid very fair.

Today they completed the AC install. Excellent crews, both the HVAC crew and the in-house electricians. The job took a while but this was because they took the time to do the job well. For example, instead of pulling the wiring out one side of the house and going around, they took the time to fish the wiring through the basement ceiling into the crawl space and over. All of the lineset exits were well sealed and insulated and the lead technician reprogrammed our smart thermostat to recognize the AC component and, of course, tested and explained everything before leaving.

Our heat went out a couple days before Christmas when we were having record low temperatures. Called for an appointment and was able to get Mercurio's out the next day. Even in the ice storm, when many companies were closed for the day, two technicians came out to look at the unit and thermostat. After troubleshooting, they quoted a price and offered to fix it that way. I was extremely impressed by the excellent customer service, communication and an amazing job for much less than I expected.

I would HIGHLY recommend Mercurio's and have definitely saved the phone number in case I ever need anything again. Thank you so much!

Update 1/12: A manager came put with the original tech. Both walked in without introduction, or acknowledging us in anyway. They of course said it was 100% a counicidence. After arguing for 20min he finally agreed to reimburse us for the cost of having 24/7 heating and cooling comingnout when Mercurios refused to come out. He mocked and laughed at me saying you cant expect eveyrthing to be free. We were asking for 1k which is reimbursing us for the original fix that caused the leak and the additional company to diagnose the leak. So rude, unapologetic and lacking ethics.

Original post: Mercurio's caused a $9000 leak from our furnace because they did not check the compressor hose after adjusting the furnace. They said they were investigating but never replied to emails or calls. When we discovered the leak we called them first to come find the leak and repair their damage They refused so we had to call another company. I could forgive the leak but I cannot forgive the costs of the damage and ghosting.

I'd been shopping for an HVAC solution to bad heating and was drawn to heat pumps for the added perk of AC. Tyler at Mercurio's was amazing beginning to end in helping me ID exactly what I needed but couldn't verbalize well, and surpassed expectations along every step of the way. I have never received better service from any contractor for my home. Tyler helped me stay within budget, gave out of the box solutions, stayed in touch during install to make sure everything was going well, helped ensure things wrapped up well, and was just very human and non-corporate the entire time. I'm really appreciative of Tyler and this company in general and would recommend them time and time again. Thanks!

Tyler came to do an estimate for a ductless AC system for my home.  He was very knowledgeable, professional, and spend quality time looking at the best way to install the system including one I wasn't aware of.  I am scheduled for installation next week and am looking forward to having a cool home this summer.  I am also going to schedule having a new 200 amp service panel installed.  Nice job, Tyler.  I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I can't figure out how to add to my first review, so here's a second review.
I'd love to give them 0 stars but Yelp won't let me.
After them losing my first appointment, they finally made it out a week later. See previous reports for that info. We ended up hiring someone else to replace the furnace because Mercurio's was by far the most expensive of the three estimates. I received my invoice today. I was expecting $169. It was $389 for less than a 1/2 hours work; no where near what I was quoted. I called about it. I got a response that the 'invoice is correct, there is not a problem, but if you'd like we can have the service manager call sometime in the next 24 hours.' Really?? Mercurio's will never set foot on our property again, and I will discourage anyone from calling them in the future. These are not trustworthy people to deal with.

We were having trouble with our Mitsubishi dual mini-split system randomly throwing error codes and shutting off. We called Mercurio's and they sent someone within a couple of days.

The technician, Loc, determined that thermistor had gone bad in one of the two units. The part was backordered, so we had to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive. When it did Loc came back to our house promptly and got the part installed and fixed the system.

Apparently these Mitsubishi units were not designed to make it easy to replace a thermistor, but despite some frustration and high temperatures Loc stuck with it and got us up and running again.

tl;dr; the service was prompt and professional and the price was reasonable. We'll be calling Mercurio's again the next time we need A/C service.

I could not be happier with the way the installation of our new Bosch Heat Pump went today.  Arnold and his crew (Matt, Brendon, Aiden and David) worked non-stop from the time they got here until the job was complete.  The new equipment was installed professionally and it all looks really, really well done.  It was a pretty big job because I changed a lot of things from the old equipment.  Additionally, all are really good people to have had around.  Thanks also to Tyler for selling me the new system and for his follow-up during the install.  I am very satisfied for the quality of service.  I highly recommend Mercury's to anyone needing to make this sort of capital investment.

Scheduled a duct cleaning, furnace and ac service, and dryer vent clean, super nice for scheduling, however, they never showed up for the appointment. With a working wife and two kiddos under two, having work done at the house can be chaotic so for 4 hrs we waited, no naps done cause of the fear as soon as I get them down they'll show up. 20 mins to 4 I call them wondering what's up.. they said they called this morning at 8 and left a voicemail on my number (which did not happen) and they said their duct cleaner has been down for a while because of a lack of a certain part... well then why would I receive a courtesy reminder text last night reminding me of my appointment.  Piss poor excuse and service. Off to another company

Not happy with them. My Carrier gas furnace quit working so I called Mecurios. They sent a repairman. He was here 25 minutes total and replaced the ignitor which is a $25.00 part and charged me $800.26. They were not upfront about anything from making the appointment to the final invoice. I will never use them again and I will never recommend them to anyone. Also I'm 72 years old.

We used them for heat pump and furnace maintenance and were able to use a coupon that was mailed to us to get about $50 off. The staff was friendly, prompt, and professional. The service was detailed, including pictures of each point of the inspection that were shared with me afterward.

It's frightening to wake up to the sound of running water coming from a hallway closet. We quickly realized that our furnace condensation line  had given way. We turned off power to the furnace and then called Mercurios. We were grateful to be scheduled that same afternoon. We had never used Mercurios before, but a friend recently had Mercurios install a new heat pump, and he's been raving about the company and quality of the installation. It's always good to get a good recommendation from a trusted friend. Josh H was our technician today. He fixed the connection line promptly and checked the furnace. All's good! YWe liked Josh so much that we signed up for your annual inspection program. We hope to see Josh again next year! Thank you for your professional customer service.

Let me start by saying I first started using Mercurio's back in 1999 when I had 3 different havoc people come or fail to show to a new home I had just bought, a friend at work heard of my problems and he said I need to call this company, they will treat me right.

Fast forward to 2021, my ex wife had a furnace problem, asked me to come over, thought her pilot light went out. I went over, not a pilot light type furnace, I tried 4x to reset the system, FAIL after FAIL.

Call Mercurio's, it's a holiday of course next morning, they said they can get a tech there by 1pm.  1 PM comes and here is the technician, Shawn at the door. 10 minutes he has the system working. He does a thorough inspection, makes a simple recommendation to change filter also, he's cleaned up and gone by 1:20 with photos of model and serial # for future reference to be more efficient in the future.

Prompt, clean, booties and mask on, professional, and friendly service.
How can you ask for more!?!

We had a rattle in our furnace.  It wasn't an urgent need, but did cause us to wake up in the morning when it would start.  Mercurio's was able to come out within a day.  They found that the prior installer improperly set up the system and fixed it.  30 minutes and it was done.  So glad we discovered this company.

I called to make an appointment to have my air conditioner looked at.  They took the appointment, but texted the next day saying they couldn't work on my unit, stating that it's a commercial building.  It's a condo and I sent a picture, showing it was a normal a/c unit.  Heather said there was nothing she could do as it was coming straight from the manager.  Not helpful.  I booked somewhere else.

Mecurio's has unethical business practices, poor customer service when there is a problem, and send rookie repairman that are not held accountable!  Buyer beware!

They billed me approx $475 March 2020, for refrigerant incl 2 hrs labor and know they didn't actually put refrigerant inmy heat pump, as I had to pay $555 to add coolant to my expensive heating & cooling system, by another company Aug 2020!

Find another heating and cooling company! They left my fam w higher utility bills for 5 mos until I had a reputable heating contractor come out to give me a heat pump replacement estimate bc Mercurio's said  my compressor was blown after they overheated it during their service call in March! They turned it on without refrigerant in it, and only shut it down when it was smoking and grinding! It never did that before! In fact, it had just been tuned up by a licensed Heating and cooling company in January! It sat untouched until I could afford to add refrigerant. I let it sit until i got my covid check. What a waste of money!

The end result, I discovered Mercurio's didn't open the valve to add coolant in March! Therefore, no refrigerant/coolant could physically go in! So, when the tech walked away he knew he had a full container of refrigerant but charged me! (The new contractor that got it running said it is like someone walking over to your car w a full can of gas and charging u to put it in, then walking away w the full can!! )

Mecurio's is NOT a company a homeowner can trust!!! Mecurios blames the previous co for not leaving the valve open after repairing a shrader valve leak following a tune-up. That proves I don't have a leak  as the contractor before and after Mercurio's took pics and said no leaks!   Mercurio said I prob blew my compressor by letting it sit too long without coolant. (That is like saying your gas tank say empty too long so that is why the can of gas we say we put in your car doesn't make your car start).

My a/c or heat pump is running today, NOT bc of Mecurios, but bc I hired Murphy's  Murphy's Heating & Cooling. He diagnosed the issue within the first 15 min of walking on my property!

I do not know the long term effects of Mecurio' s Heating and Cooling Company running my system dry!  (Its like overheating an engine without oil in it).  Their staff's costly mistake and misdiagnosis should be at their expense 100%!  

We were very hot w indoor temps of 84 degree, trying to stay cool w 4 cooling fans and Mercurio's could care less!  They do not know the long term effects of running my system dry, nor do I.

Got to say Kevin was great.  Furnace kicked out so called for service and Kevin called me back.  Realize it is 19 degrees outside and going to get colder.  So Kevin walked me through the process of checking and diagnosed that the drain line from the furnace was probably iced up.  I went out to check and he was correct.  A few minutes later the system was back on and I am warm again.  Honestly speaking I was expecting to wait two or three days before getting help but instead system was back up in about 40 minutes.  I REQUEST that Kevin provide me whatever service I may need in the future.  Great help, calm, knowledgeable really cannot ask for more.  If more stars were available I'd have given him more.

We bought a newer home in Pierce County and it didn't come with AC. Duct work and furnace was all there - just no AC. Called around and got a few quotes from some unfriendly Salesmen from other companies. Mercurio's was the last quote (I sought out 4 different companies). Tom the salesman was very knowledgeable and did not want to sell us something we didn't want. He could tell I knew what I wanted, where to place the unit, and what he needed to view in my home. Fast forward to install day (no waitlist or issues with the install date - we just chose a later install date) - two technicians arrived - turned out to be an all day install (which we knew before hand). We are 100% satisfied with the install. After the electricians left, no one could explain the attic fan to us (that was part of the install) - but I will call their office to follow up to get more info. Definitely a great company with great people and products all around. Would highly recommend! ALSO - their staff came to do annual service on my furnace as well - 3 days prior to the install. Again - couldn't be happier with this company.

The technician showed up on time and was friendly and east to talk. to. The furnace was making an unusual noise.  I showed him where i thought the problem was. He quickly removed the part and found it defective.  Called some local supply stores and none carried my brand of furnace which is older. Recommended i get a new furnace. And set up an appointment for an estimate.  I went online and ordered a new replacement part for $220 and it was delivered 3 days later

These guys did a great job!  I now have a thermostat that works well, and I can rest easy knowing that my heating and air conditioning systems are in good shape.  Brian kept me informed throughout the process, so there were no surprises in the end.  I highly recommend Mercurio's!

Aaron was late from his last appointment, but we knew that because we received a call adjusting his appointment time.  He actually arrived within the first window  in spite of traffic.  He assessed the situation and determined there was no problem with the air cleaner and he then checked the sump pump for the A/C and replaced the faulty unit that was under warranty.  Quite happy with his attention to detail, his thorough approach in checking a unit that wasn't the purpose for the appointment and finding a problem before it became a problem!

Terrible maintenance and system support after the installation.

They installed my heating system a few years ago and had me on a maintenance plan. They just stopped showing up. So I called to have them come look at my system and do a maintenance. Apparently the guy who knew about those is gone so we no longer support them. So now I am on my own looking for help for my home heating system.

Another loser in the world of crappy customer service!

Mercurio's was an excellent experience. Especially compared to the previous company, which I'm now convinced only hired sales people and not HVAC technicians (check my reviews, you'll see who they are).

Thom came out this morning and was friendly and polite from the get go -- wearing his mask you could still see him smiling (it's all in the eyes). My 82-year-old Mom approves.

He answered our plethora of questions, many about what we can do to keep our system running efficiently. He explained things very well. No attitude or obvious frustration with our continued questions.

Highly recommend. I can't wait to see Thom for our next annual checkup.

Have had AMAZING service from Mercurio's in the past, but this time was not near as good. Furnace and heat pump service was scheduled over the phone. Had requested service through the website but after 3 days and no contact, I called and scheduled.
Tech arrived on time but service is questionable.  No filters were changed. No info about the results of their service - I had to call and request info and even once I received it, no usable info about my furnace or heat pump. When I called I must have interrupted the rep because she was extremely rude when I requested the bill he emailed to me.
Guess it's time to look elsewhere.

After review then business suggested I contact them to have the issue corrected - I shouldn't have to do that.  Service should've been done correctly the first time or the company should e reached out to me following this review.

Awesome customer service.
Our air conditioner went out Sunday of course one of WA States hottest days-98 degrees, so, we made appointment for Monday morning between 8-9am. Guy was at our house at 8:15am, polite and professional and fixed our air conditioner in no time!

Didn't think we'd get it fixed in less than 24 hours. For them to have answering service on Sunday was awesome, the guy was so polite and helpful. Will definitely use them again if needed!

You'd be correct I did think my system was running it was functioning correctly I'm not in the business of air conditioning and furnace work but as I spoke with your guy and explain to him how I had First American home insurance it's interesting that another company could come in tighten a couple of things up add they are 22 and now my system is running optimal. My original called you guys want to come do maintenance on my furnace and air conditioningIt's really sad that when the guy left my furnace was still filthy and he couldn't even repair my air conditioning unit even though Furnace Doctor was here 17 to 20 minutes in my house resolve the situation and now has scheduled me for a maintenance call. Buyer beware if you hire this company

Mercurio's fitted the water heater in a house I recently bought. It was fitted less than a year ago and broke this past weekend. I called and explained I had no hot water and they said they could send someone out to fix it but I would have to pay for the fix. A minimum of $50 call out and $189 an hour labor plus any parts. I asked if they could just come and see what the issue is so I could get a better idea of cost and they said that would cost $150 'diagnostic fee'. They provide zero guarantees on their installment work so good luck if you spend $$$ on installation of anything and it breaks - they'll probably want it to so they can charge you more $$ to fix it. I ended up calling a plumber who told me to call the manufacturer of the water heater who diagnosed the issue over the phone and sent me the parts he thought I would need for free. The plumber was shocked that Mercurios wouldn't come and fix the parts for free/provided no guarantees of their installation work. He told me to talk to Mercurios owner but I've called twice now and the people they have answering the phone just repeat what the 'supervisor' says. The plumber also found Mercurios had done a REALLY poor job of installation of the water heater and showed me galvanized pipes they had used that were already rusting, leaking and will burst if not fixed. With the heater breaking and the shoddy installation I'm currently out $700. So in summary - terrible customer service, they don't know what they are doing and they don't guarantee any of their work!

You guys! I had the best experience today with Mercurio's Heating & Air Conditioning! After struggle-bussing last year with baseboard heaters and a kerosene heater, my husband and I were over it. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company and the crew. They were so easy to work with! Anthony and Cameron with Mercurio's just left and the whole house is already toasty.

Today these guys:
- made me feel safe (both their care/safety measures with the electricity/job and the way they treated me)
- loved on my pups the whole time
- did a fantastic job with the install (there were a lot of barriers to where these things could go in this old house and I was so worried we were going to have to make a unit a centerpiece)
- took time to teach me how to use and care for the system
- cleaned up every trace of debris before they left.

My furnace broke down on a Saturday. I called Mercurio's, and a technician called me back. This technician (Tom), told me he'd have to charge me tbeir weekend rate ($250.00) just to check my heater on Sunday. I agreed because I had no heat. Tom checked my heater for about 20 minutes, and claimed it had a bad control board. He then happily charged me $258.00 to tell me there was nothing he could do to fix it. I would need a new heater, he cheerily explained. I am a Locomotive machinist by trade, and an Air Force veteran with experience in a multitude of mechanical systems. I ignored any further attempts from this shady company's salespeople to sell me a new heater, and am still waiting for a stand-up, honest repair person to fix my heater. Mercurio's will leave you in the cold.

After suffering through the unheard-of 100 degree temperatures last year, we decided we couldn't endure another summer in our upstairs bedrooms. We had fans set up all over the house and our blinds closed, but enough was enough. When my sister said she wanted to come for a visit this summer, we knew we had to invest in having an A/C system added to our existing furnace. We got two bids that were almost identical, but chose Mercurio's because their warranties were much better. I retired from being a maintenance purchasing agent after 22 years, so I know a bit about the mechanics of A/C as well as vetting prospective contractors. Every single person involved in the project (estimator, installer, service techs and service manager, and reception and billing staff) was extremely professional, friendly, and respectful of our home, our time, and of me and my husband. We had a few glitches after the installation that were adjusted swiftly and in a satisfying manner. We couldn't be happier with our quiet, cool A/C. I would't hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend them to anyone contemplating a new heating or A/C system, or maintenance of any kind. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

We recently decided to upgrade our old oil furnace to a more efficient and eco-friendly heat pump, and based on online reviews and their informative website, we opted for Mercurio's. Tom Baker came out to evaluate the house and give us our estimate, which was a bit higher than we'd expected but was certainly reasonable, especially considering all the options Tom walked us through and the overall long-term benefit to our home and our utility bills. Tom was knowledgable, transparent, and responsive to our questions and the needs of our old home. The one downside--due to worldwide shipping delays, NOT anything Mercurio's can change--was that the heat pump we needed was backordered for a couple of months. But Tom suggested we swap out our ancient furnace unit now, and we could easily add on the heat pump itself when it came into stock.

On the day we'd scheduled for our furnace upgrade, the crew showed up early, and they had our heat pump! One had apparently come in early and they went ahead with the full installation! And in spite of that extra bit of work, and the thorough cleaning job they did after they'd wrapped up, the crew still finished the job an hour earlier than they'd scheduled. They also installed guide rails for our air filters (our ancient system didn't have any and we were getting terrible filtration; now the air filters fit perfectly!). That wasn't something we expected or had even thought to ask for, but they did it anyway because it makes the whole system function better.

The crew also wore masks the entire day and followed excellent COVID-mitigation guidelines, something we especially appreciated.

The whole team, both Tom Baker and the installation crew, were highly professional, exceeded my expectations, and made the entire experience WELL worth every penny. 10/10 -- highly recommended!

I really can't say anything bad about Mercurio's! When our heater went out this summer, I was dreading the process of figuring out who to use and how much money it would be. We got a couple quotes and Mercurio's was far and above the best value for the money. They were also available to install almost immediately!

Some other things I liked...
1) They do a good job communicating with you, answering questions in plain English. Easy to get a hold of.
2) Not only did I like the price on the quote - I liked the amount of information on it. They list everything that's included.
3) They did a great job of our install. Showed up when they said they would, were efficient in their work. They even installed a smart thermostat we bought so we didn't have to.

Little bit of a bumpy start to get a requote but from then on Jerod was on it personally.
The two guy crew showed up and spent all day getting the job done. Took longer than i expected but within 8 hours everything was done including electricians.  
I got quotes from several other companies but Jerod listened to me the best and got me a great  ductless heat pump for under 6 grand.
The office staff and crew are personable and call back in a timely manner.
I am very happy with my choice and my home is much more efficiently heated.

This is neither a positive or negative review but more of a caution to people. ALWAYS get a second or third bid. Had Mercurio's come out to troubleshoot my heat pump on Monday and the price they gave for an estimate was over $5k. Since then I've had two other companies troubleshoot it and both have been well under $4k LESS than Mercurio's. Also, ask them to itemize their estimates so you can see how much each item costs. Labor is $196 an hour and one part in particular was up charged 4-5x retail price and they charge a return trip fee because they would have to come back to do the job.  Not sure how one estimate can be so much higher than 2 other ones but I'm glad I shelled out the money to other companies to come give me bids.

We bought our furnace from Mercurio's about 7 years ago.  We got some estimates before choosing Mercurio's.  We chose them because they're family owned, local, experienced and price friendly.  Our furnace was installed without any interruption in our schedules both at home and at work.  
Since installation I've talked with Mercurio's once a year to schedule our annual maintenance.  
These are good people.  I highly recommend them to everyone.

Bottom line up front: doing business with Mercurio's is a risk because management does NOT take responsibility when employees provide subpar, unprofessional service.  

I own a home in Washington, but live in California (Navy family) and rent the Washington house out.  When my tenants said they'd like to have the ducts cleaned, I didn't know any HVAC companies so I took to Google and Yelp and decided on Mercurio's based on their great reviews.  Unfortunately, after having the service completed by them, I am left off worse than when I started, out $650, and with no options but to write about the story here.  

The first and biggest mistake they made was the first technician incorrectly advised my tenants to run emergency heat for weeks.  During the first service visit, the technician said there was a faulty part in the heat pump, which he said can combust if used, so he instructed my tenants to use emergency heat.  This is a terrible recommendation, when made in error, as it's the energy efficiency equivalent of heating a house with an electric oven.  The reality is he broke a pvc pipe that's connected to the condensing unit for the heat pump.  This is probably the real reason why he told my tenants they had to use emergency heat.  

The first tech that came out was very unprofessional, but articulated loud and clear that headquarters doesn't care about their employees either.  He complained the whole time about not having someone with him to help, and that they shouldn't have sent someone as small as him out.  He was cursing to and from his truck to the house the whole time.  To make matters worse, during a trip from his truck to the house, he showed up at the door with blood pouring out of his nose and all over the patio. It was a complete mess and he did a terrible job cleaning up after himself. But the truth is, maybe he shouldn't have been sent out there to complete this job alone?  Why did headquarters do this?  

Additionally, he said he wouldn't be able to even complete the job at first.  When he showed up he said he didn't have anything that would reach each air unit in the house so he'd only be able to take care of two of them, but then for some reason he was able to reach each of them after he talked to someone at the company.  This leaves me little confidence that the job was done correctly.  

After all of this, Mercurio's did nothing to contact me aside from sending over the invoice.  It wasn't until weeks later when my tenants asked me when they were sending someone else out to fix what they broke, did I know anything was wrong.  It took a while after that to get another tech out to fix that broken PVC pipe so my tenants could use the system as designed again.  

To be honest, I understand employees have bad days and this shouldn't be a reflection of Mercurio's as a whole.  But the reason why I want to urge you all NOT to use Mercurio's is this: the back office staff took no responsibility for this.  I had a lengthy, weeks long dialog with customer service, the customer service manager, the owner (through CS manager), and then again through the Better Business Bureau attempting to receive just a partial refund of the full service for the headache they caused.  Throughout every step of the process, I was only met with excuses (which they will probably do again responding to this), rationalizing all the mistakes the tech made, and that they would do nothing to take some of the responsibility for the mess and cost I was left with.  The bottom line is it doesn't matter why, but Mercurio's cost me with headache after headache, and financially for having to run emergency heat for weeks.

To make matters worse, while I was having a dialog with customer service, which was surprisingly professional and civil the the entire time, they were calling me, telling me to pay in full for the service, or they were going to immediately put a lien on my house.  Mind you, this is when I was waiting for the Customer Service Manager to call me back after he was going to talk to his manager.  

Frankly, you're just as likely to have a similar experience with a service at another company.  We all have bad days sometimes.  But the bottom line is, Mercurio's as a company takes no responsibility for poor service, and will leave you footing a full-priced bill for subpar service that can leave you off worse off than when you started.  When they wont even provide their employees with what's needed to get a job done, what makes you think they'll treat you any better?  When there are so many other choices out there, why take the risk with Mercurio's?

I called Mercurio's when it was over 100 degrees. I tried numerous other HVAC companies and received no call back or wait time for an estimate as far as three months out. Mercurio's got me in within a reasonable time given the current demand in this market. I have been so impressed with every part of my experience with them. During my initial call, the staff making the appointment were incredibly polite. When Todd came to my home for an estimate he gave me an exact walk through of what would be required. He made me a part of the process and talked to me like I could actually contribute something to the process, which, you know - I'm useless, but I really appreciated it nonetheless. The estimate that was given to me was literally a line by line of each item required (including a brief explanation of its purpose and cost). We felt the price was fair. Todd stayed in touch through the whole process. I received a reminder the day before the install, which was nice. And a whole team of guys showed up on my doorstep right on time. They each introduced themselves politely and again walked me through what they would be doing. Each time they made a cut in the wall they consulted me. Afterwards they cleaned up! It was even cleaner than when they arrived. They finished the whole project within a day. The AC is soooooooooooo nice!!! I can't say enough for this experience. If there is a wait to get onto their schedule, it's really worth it. I can't recommend this company enough.

Everyone we spoke to for the scheduling, estimation and installation were all very friendly and professional.

The scheduling: it was quick and easy. They also send appointment notifications to your cell (in my case is very helpful).

The estimation: is free. The person that came out (Greg) was pretty knowledgeable in answering all of our questions. He took the time to give an estimate on two different systems during the appointment (because we didn't know what we wanted yet). We like that there wasn't any hidden fees. We've had other estimates prior to this company and their actual cost seemed like it would be higher than the estimate.

The installation: I didn't get all their names but 4 people that showed up- 2 installers (Anthony) and 2 electricians. They were all friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. We were told maybe the outer unit had to be at a different location of the house due to code. But because the installers knew the code and the system installation guidance, they were able to make it work on the same side of the house as the inside units. The installers stayed late (about 1 hr 30 mins) to finish the job that day and cleaned up well. The electrician (didn't get his name) was super helpful. We've been having electrical issues (the breaker would trip often) since we moved in and turns out there were a lot of loose wiring in our panel and he assisted with that.

Overall: we are pleased with this company. The estimation is pretty much what our actual cost was. It is a lot but because of going with multiple units and the brand itself... it's definitely worth it.

We ended up going with Mercurios, even over Costco. They process the rebate for you and take it off your tab in advance, which was awesome. They gave us three options to choose from and installed everything(2 splits) in a full work day. Cleaned up everything and install looks like it was always there! I recommend them

Great company! We just had Mercurio's replaced our 40-year-old furnace with a heat pump combo unit and cleaned the ducts. Mercurio's installed a complete new 5 ton gas furnace and AC unit in our house. It was a replacement as we needed a new, efficient and quiet system. The whole job went super well. From the sales person, to install, to follow up. It is a top of the line American Standard product. It has been in for one year now and Mercurio's provides a complementary one-year thorough follow-up. That went well too. I even bought an annual Maintenance Contract from them as well. This new system is efficient and most of all -- very quiet. I am really pleased and would recommend Mercurio's to anyone and everyone. They are the best. Their personnel are thorough, courteous, and professional; especially the sales person, Chris who saw the project through completion.

Was a tad apprehensive because of the recent poor reviews but Mercurios installed our units 4 years ago and we had a great experience from start to finish So wanted to stick with them if possible. Fortunately had a great experience having a maintenance service on our three ductless units today. Thomas Ahrens was friendly, easy to communicate with and knowledgeable as far as giving us info and tips on How to better care for our units going forward. 12 years ago Mercurio's installed two complete central heating/cooling units in our home. The service then was amazing. We were never pressured to buy anything we did not want or need, and we needed a lot, there was never any central heat in this house . We needed two complete systems. One upstairs and one down...We had to have ductwork installed, electrical, then the units. The employees were unobtrusive polite and our systems have  been great. The very few tweaks we have had were treated with prompt service.
Yesterday something  shorted our panel, 12 years later, just a couple of hours after calling service technician Brandon Edmondson was at our door, cheerful in the heat did the repair in no time, he was amazing in his customer service and skill.
This is a legit review . I would and have recommended this company to anyone who needed the service. Because they are top knotch

Our air conditioner stopped working.  I called in the morning and they came out the same day.  He was able to quickly determine the problem, gave me the $$ quote for the part and service, and was done in under 30 minutes.  He wore a mask at all times and followed social distancing protocols.  We will use their services in the future.  Highly recommend.

I cannot express enough what excellent customer service I received from Delia and Ed (Brandon)!! I contacted Mercurio's yesterday after 4pm and was immediately scheduled next day at noon! Ed showed up on time and was able to troubleshoot within minutes why my furnace wasn't igniting. Turns out the furnace was not able to ignite due to buildup from the fan to the tubing that connects to the igniter. Ed quickly resolved the problem and we were both on our way! No pressure cross selling and trust me, my furnace is less than to be desired!! Definitely will use them when I upgrade!! Oh an no charges above the $150 service call!

We just bought this house and are learning all of the fun quirks about owning a new home. When the furnace mysteriously went out last night, I called Mercurio's to come help us figure it out. The tech was here within 20 minutes of my call and 2 minutes later, we found out the problem (human error because we has the dumb about furnaces). Problem solved and we learned that we should probably label all of the random switches located in the crawl space lest we accidentally flip on/off the wrong ones. Haha! Lesson learned. But seriously, the price for diagnostics and labor seem fair and reasonable, unlike that other freakin place that will diagnose non-existent problems and price gouge you into debt. We will definitely call Mercurio's again if we need HVAC help again in the future.

It took a bit longer to get the needed parts than expected. But when the technician did the work the project came in on estimated and fixed the 1st time.

We had a different HVAC company come in to inspect our system through our Fidelity Home Warranty just a week before and they did a hack job and ended up sealing off our primary drain port :/ We had Thomas come by for to inspect and fix their errors and ended up doing a full maintenance and cooling tune-up. He did a great job! Thomas was friendly, professional and broke things down into more digestible bits of information for the mechanically challenged such as myself. Called and scheduled an appointment to provide an estimate for a new HVAC system as we are in the process of remodeling a 1969 home. Current furnace is oil fed. Was given a one hour arrival window. After waiting 30 minutes beyond the arrival time I called and canceled the appointment. One would think a company that potentially could have sold a $15K system would have been more attentive and professional.
Will decide between the two other HVAC companies who provided professional  and detailed estimates.

I had two full systems (A/C and heating) at two different houses. First one went okay. They left a bunch of garbage and did not seal the top very well. I cleaned that up and added some duct tape  myself. On the second install, the technicians were smoking and vaping on the property. I really don't care, but have the courtesy to at least go off my property. Technician was standing on top step of ladder with no fall protection. I am glad he did not get hurt. He was a very nice. On the second install, electrician agreed to put in 20 amp circuit in garage. They came back out to do more work and when they were done, they charged me 300 for labor and the 20 amp plug install. Then I got a call from the billing department saying I owed another 218 dollars for the 20 amp plug install. I tried to call and explain what was discussed and he treated me like I was trying to pull one over on him. I told him, please talk to the technician and call me back. We agreed to disagree. I will pay the 218, but I will never do service with them again. I still have not received an itemized receipt for the 20 plug install. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and helpful except for the operation manager. Hopefully he can listen next time and not moan when I try to explain the situation.

Jerod called minutes after this review was posted to address the problem. Another technician (Ed) came out the next day, found the issue, immediately and fixed it for free. It's people like Ed and Jerod who make people want to support small businesses. Thank you so much for caring!

I've been SO happy with these guys in this past so typing this review is tough. I had a technician (Charles) and his trainee (didn't catch his name but he was pleasant) come out to certify my heater and AC unit for the sale of my home. They took a look at everything and it seemed to be looking good except for the a valve that they did replace. However, when they got to the thermostat portion, they found that my thermostat was working intermittently which is fine. It was on and controlling my AC just fine this summer so far so I wasn't immediately worried. Charles then tried to sell us a less than $100 thermostat for $250. What? Okay, I understand that labor is factored in to this price but that's a little much. We declined and signed the paperwork. The technicians left and we went to start up the AC again. The thermostat was completely blank. It was NOT like that when Charles started working on it. The entire circuit board/control board inside the furnace itself was also not on or powered. I tried the house's circuit breakers, the power switch to the furnace, and nothing happened. Great. We called Mercurio's back and they adamantly insisted that it was the thermostat. No, dude. The thermostat was powered fine and working before you messed with it. On top of that, the thermostat doesn't have anything to do with the power to the furnace. Nice try, though.
Thanks for treating us like we're stupid, Charles. Now we have a certified furnace that isn't even powered so it's worthless. WE by OURSELVES found that the technician blew the damn fuse when he was messing around with the thermostat.
You have lost our business, guys. I've been a customer for years and years and now I am finished due to the way we were treated and the shoddy b/s that we put up with today.

My furnace went out and I tried all I could to troubleshoot but had to call the big guns, Charles called ahead and arrived with tools to tackle my furnace. I was the last call of the night yet he was super polite and respectful. He worked diligently to fix my heater and got it up and running.

Super pleased with the service, I'd recommend Charles to anyone who needs help with their furnace. A+++

The technicians were pleasant and professional. There were miscommunications between the office staff, me, and the technicians, however. The result was that not enough time was allowed on the first visit for them to complete the work. Then the office staff did not call to schesule  the appointment  to finish the work. When I became tired of waiting and called them, they had no record of me needing more work done. By the time everything was finished, the price was twice what they estimated. I'm pleased with the  work but not the process.

Very pleased with the service I received and I got a female tech! I called on a Sunday, a tech was able to come out Tuesday. I think her name was Brittany, anyway she was awesome assessed my furnace issue and provided me a heads up cleaning and future replacement (it's old, but trucking) Pricing was fair and reasonable. I will use Mercurio's again and props for having women on the team! Need more diversity in the workforce especially that field so I'll definitely do business again.

First class response and performance!  Phone service was excellent, and offered a next day appointment on Anderson Island (few really like to go, or only schedule weekly visits).
Technician was prompt and efficient, and went the extra mile with proper repairs even though it meant a later ferry return. He fixed furnace without trying to oversell but did advise it's days are numbered, we'll definitely use them for replacement!

I have had service performed twice on our forced-air furnace system. One project involved replacing several old ducts, the other was replacement of a failed blower motor. I have been very impressed. The field techs are personable and knowledgeable, do good work, and are conscientious about cleaning up. The communications and coordination are good; people show up when they say they will.

I called recently regarding an odd noise and was told how to cure it myself and save the cost of a service call. I think that's worth the coveted fifth star, the one I try so hard to be stingy with.

John and Bill from Mercurio's installed a new AC unit and reworked some previously (poorly) installed duct work at our rental property and they were GREAT. Not only was I able to call and get an appointment same-day, but Ed (or Brandon? His shirt and my invoice said Brandon but he introduced himself as, and my new service sticker says, Ed) was able to fix our heat pump on the spot. Only took about 30mins to diagnose and repair. He was courteous, friendly, and explained everything in detail. Not a cheap repair but I believe what we paid is comparable to what anyone would charge - and we didn't have to wait for days to have it fixed, during 90 degree heat!! Highly recommend this place, top notch service from my initial phone call until the job was finished - and we are very much enjoying our very cool home once again.

Just as the last heat wave was ending, I noticed a weird whining in the house but I couldn't track it down. I set the A/C to 75 so I could get to sleep. Went to turn it down the next morning and I had a blank thermostat. I checked for circuit breakers, none were in the off position. Went out to garage and found the whining was coming from my furnace (linked to heat pump offering A/C). Sounded bad so I went back to circuit breaker and flipped them both off. Scheduled a maintenance visit. She showed up right on time, identified herself, was very professional. I turned the circuit breakers back on and she immediately knew it was the condensate pump. Took  it apart to be sure and it was full of water. Had the repair part on the truck and had them switched out lickety split! Great experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work.

I would not recommend Mercurio's Heating. They serviced our HVAC system for several years. We recently moved, so we gave Mercurio's a call to come out and service the HVAC system at our new address.

When the service tech came out to our home, he stated that return plenum was installed improperly. Indoor coil very dirty. Filter was not installed correctly.
Interior of air handler is coated in rust. There is no charging chart or documentation for heat pump. Unable to determine refrigerant levels, high probability it is an R22 system and that is is low on refrigerant which could indicate a leak in the refrigerant system.Recommend replacing the system due to age, condition and inefficiency.

When I informed our real estate agent about the issues with the system and that the recommendation was to replace the whole system, we all became very concerned. Our real estate agent recommended that we get a second opinion.

So, we had another HVAC company evaluate our HVAC system. The tech said that the rust on the air handler was just surface rust and can easily be cleaned off. He agreed that there is a refrigerant leak. The Mercurio's tech stated that R22 refrigerant is hard to get. The second HVAC contractor said that R22 refrigerant ISN'T hard to get and stated that he had 4 bottles in his truck!! The tech also mentioned that the capacitor and contactor needs to be replaced, as well as the condenser motor! The technician from Mercurio's did not mention these deficiencies!! The other HVAC company that looked over our system stated that the air filter was very dirty!! Mercurio's serviced our HVAC system ONE week ago, so the air filter should not have been dirty. Did the Mercurio's technician even change the air filter?!

We feel that Mercurio's was not completely honest with us.

We were not told that the rust on the air handler is just surface rust
We were not told that the refrigerant leak was likely just from the shraeder ports
We were told that our HVAC system should be completely replaced!!!
We were not told about issues with the capacitor and contractor
We were not told about issues with the condenser motor
The air filter is still very dirty after the Mercurio's tech serviced our HVAC system.

We had to pay another HVAC tech to come out and look at our system. We feel that Mercurio's should compensate us for this additional cost. We also feel that we should receive a complete refund for the Mercurio's servicing, as the tech did not service our HVAC system properly.

As a side note, our new HVAC contractor was able to repair our system for $600l and feels that we should get at least another 10 years out of our HVAC system. This is much better than Mercurio's quote to replace the entire system for $10,000 to $14,000!!!!

I hired Mercurios to come out and troubleshoot a problem with a high-velocity system (put in by a different company who is now out of business). Our system had stopped working, so no heat in the middle of winter. The tech spent some time but could not find the problem. He reset some things and the system started working again. I was concerned that he hadn't actually identified the issue. He charged me for the visit and said if it failed again he could come back at no charge. The system did fail again shortly thereafter. I scheduled an appointment and the day of the appointment I got a call from the owner that they would not come out because they did not service this type of system. Since we had no heat and they had said they would come, the owner (after some persuasion) begrudgingly said they would come one last time but not again. I, unfortunately, was not home when the tech came, but I was on the way. He did not find the problem again but he again reset the system by disconnecting the power to the PCB and then he asked my daughter to pay him. She asked him to call me, and he refused and stormed out of the house (I actually passed by him driving down my street). I then hired another company (HVAC Quality Heating). Their tech identified the problem within five minutes and then spent a bunch of extra time talking to me (at my request) about solutions to other concerns about the system and potential upgrades. He charged me much less than Mercurios and actually fixed the problem. Note that Mercurios installed the original system at our home and sold us the heat pump that we still have. That heat pump had failed shortly after purchase and it also had to be fixed by another company. The level of knowledge in the new company compared to Mercurios is staggering, not to mention the level of professionalism.

I highly recommend this business.  I called them on a Saturday because my furnace was not working.  I was able to reach someone right away.  The gentleman I talked to told me they could come that day, but since it was after hours, the service call would be more.  Since it was not an emergency, I chose to wait until Monday.  I asked him if he could let the office know that I wanted a call back for Monday.  They called first thing Monday morning and scheduled a service call for the same day.  The technician was prompt, very friendly, honest and very thorough.  He had my problem diagnosed and solved within 15 minutes.  He also offered suggestions for items he observed in my unit so I could keep an eye on them.  I will definitely call Mercurio's anytime I need service.

Mercurio's just installed a ductless heat pump.  The price was in line with other bids but was more thoughtfully considered.  (I received four bids and each one had a different plan and different bid price.). What was most outstanding were the people who arrived and took care of business today.  They were so professional, friendly, thorough and helpful.  There was an electrical team and an installation crew each with their own workshops.  I'd hire them for anything.  Very impressed.  And, I love my new system.  Heat and air conditioning!  Couldn't be more pleased.

Mercurio's was highly recommended to us by our neighbor.  We met with Steve to discuss several AC options.  He provided us with the documentation required to get the external unit placement approved by our HOA, and followed up with us to ensure we had approval before confirming with the installation team.  The installation team was highly professional, efficient, and left our garage in excellent condition.  After the installation, we discovered the fan was running 24 hours and asked for some assistance in turning off the fan.  Charles came to our house, identified the external timer that was causing the issue in less than a minute, provided to us a quote for an air scrubber that came up during the conversation, and billed us nothing for resolving the fan timer issue.   This team of professionals is the best home improvement service team we have ever experienced!

We just recently had our furnace replaced with American Standard furnace and central AC.  The process was swift and efficient, no hassle.  The consultant Steve was knowledgeable, honest and very pleasant.  Price was very fair as we did get a few quotes from other companies.  They do, however, really shine in the installation process.  Two techs, Buddy and Cameron worked diligently for 1 1/2 days under the supervision of foreman Bill, who made sure things were done to high standard.  Oh, there was another tech electrician on the first day whose name I couldn't remember, also performed very well.  Got his job completed within only couple hours and it was beautiful.  The installation was done very professionally, no loose end.  Wires and pipes were all tucked in and hidden neatly.  It was a work of art.  The system is working very well so far.  By the way, this was done last week as we are all currently going through a coronavirus pandemic.  Social distancing and proper precautions were taken seriously.  These boys came in, did their work and done.  minimum distraction.  It's that simple.  Thank you for a job well done.

I just had a Daikin ductless a/c-heating unit installed today by Mercurio's. Although it was completed 6 hours ago I can already tell you that I am beyond happy! My little 450 sq ft home, has a gas wall heater that blows so loud that I can not hear anything else. And it could only get warm in the front part of house leaving me colder in the bedroom and bathroom. I have had my new system set to 69 degrees since the guys left, and the bedroom and the little cove where my dresser is at is the same temp as the rest of the house! My bathroom is warm and comfortable! I've been moving my thermometer around testing the areas, and I can feel the difference! The techs that did the installation, Anthony and Nathan, were prompt and courteous! And from start to finish were out of here in 3 hours! Brandon, the consultant that gave me the estimate didn't try and upsell me, and I even asked about more costly systems and I felt he was honest with me, saving me $1000's! The cost was very reasonable compared to the others I got estimates from. I love my new system and can't wait to be more comfortable this summer too! I highly recommend Mercuiro's to give you a fair quote, offer a great product, and reliable service!

I had several companies give me estimates for a new gas furnace.  I went with mercurios for the price and the fact they were able to get the job done quickly.   The new furnace works great, but I'm waiting to see if it will be as energy efficient as promised.  Of note, several weeks after installation I noticed that the installers had taken the unused air filters I had stored in the basement for the old furnace.   I had planned on returning them to Home Depot  for a refund. Then after a few more weeks I went to put a new battery in my carbon monoxide detector and realized that had been removed as well.  So I had to buy a new one.  Unfortunately all this was noticed a few months after installation.   If not for these issues I would have posted a higher review.

After a terrible experience with my a/c installation with another company (Castle Heating & Air Conditioning) who told us that the wires were dead in our wall and that's why the thermostat couldn't switch between the furnace and a/c, I decided to call Mercurio's for a second opinion.

After an initial inspection, the technician Marvin was able to determine the system was mis-wired and that the reason the thermostat didn't work was because it was old and not compatible. What a huge relief to hear we wouldn't need new wiring! Marvin was great at walking me through what he was doing and then was able to install a Nest Learning thermostat we had purchased. I was impressed to hear Marvin had already been trained on the Nest and gave me great tips on using the technology as he installed it.

After he left, there seemed to be a slight hiccup with the fan not turning so I called the next morning. He was able to come out the same day to check the settings and made one quick adjustment and it was ready to go. He could have easily told me to change this setting myself over the phone, but he made the effort to come out and fix it himself. Another bonus is that the company allows you to pay your invoice via their Ipad and emails you a receipt immediately.

I felt I got great service that made me confident they know their stuff, I'll definitely be using them for future issues.

HUGE thank you to Mercurio's..  A last minute hurry up request..  

Commercial account in Tacoma.  We needed someone onsite first thing the next morning to do an electrical and gas disconnect.   We were under the gun big time with movers scheduled mid morning.   Mercurio's beat me to the location first thing in the morning and had a first class job complete before I got there !!  

I wish they did more work in the North end.  Mercurio's would be my new primary gas, heating/AC contractor.  As it is they have all my business in the south end.

Like to say that Mercurios did a great job on servicing our heater, but they gave us terrible service. First, the two men that came over-charged us for their time by 90 minutes. I wrote down the time they came and left. They charged us to go to Home Depot to get a part they hadn't brought with them. Then they charged us for the lunch that they also took during that time. Their work was shoddy. Instead of bolting a cover plate to the ceiling, they duct taped it, which of course made us doubt the quality of their work completely. I called the company when the men left and the secretary gave me no help at all. Finally, I wrote a long email to the owner of the company, explaining what had happened. The owner was nice and came out himself to undo the duct tape, checked the work in our attic and refunded us the amount that was an overcharge. I appreciate that, but lots of people, especially older people don't keep track of the time or check the work that was done, they just trust...which is what we should be able to do. How many people have Mercurios ripped off without their knowing it? I'd never use them again.

Furnace went down and needed repair. I called several places in the phone book and they were so rude, specifically Narrows furnace, the lady was not happy I called for some reason. Anyway, I found Mercurios number on Google very quickly and gave them a ring. They very nice over the phone and scheduled me an appointment for the next day. They came out and diagnosed the problem and had a part ordered right away. They were even able to bill TRANE for the part because the system was still under warranty which was TOTALLY unexpected. The whole process was quick and easy and I would recommend them to anyone who needs service. These guys are not out to cheat you as some others may be. GREAT JOB Mercurios!

Our heat stopped working Sunday night, I called Mecurios Monday morning and their boiler repairman wasnt available until Tuesday afternoon.  We have a one year old baby and our house is extremely cold so I took an extended lunch to meet the repairman.  The appointment was scheduled for 12-4pm.  Mecurios called me at 3pm to tell me their serviceman was on a No Heat call and could not get to us today and we would have to reschedule.  I have no heat in my home for 2 days now, I took time off of work, and now I have to reschedule?  I immediately called another company to schedule service and they were able to squeeze me in today.  I will not use Mercurios in the future and would not recommend them to any friends/family.

When it comes to home repairs and maintenance, you are really vulnerable when you have to open the yellow pages (or Google) and pick from the bunch.  You never know what you are in for.  We all want honest, capable, dependable contractors.  That's what you get EVERY TIME with Mercurios.  They have been handling our heating and air conditioning needs for over 20 years -- and have never let us down.  Recently, during our annual preventative maintenance servicing (this is a great plan offered by Mercurios), we discovered the need for either a heat exchanger repair or replacement furnace.  After going over our options, we elected to change out the furnace for a new American Standard.  The installation and service personnel who came out were professional, efficient and friendly.  Their craftsmanship was superior -- including modified air returns and duct filtering.  The bottom line: This is a company that is consistently honest, fair, skilled and very reliable.  I highly recommend Mercurios!

I bought a house in summer of 2012. The first winter we spent in the house just happened to be the winter it got down to about 10 degrees outside here. I have 2 children & when I came home from working all night, my house was only 42 degrees inside. I called several different companies in the morning & all of them were booked. I called Mercurio's & they had a technician out to me the same day & my new furnace was installed & working by the next day. Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly, knowledgable & efficient. They explained all of the differences between the different types of furnaces available to me & why they would or wouldn't recommend them. They also helped me figure out if I was eligible for any tax discounts, or any discounts through the city where I live. I ended up making what I feel was a very informed decision & got a great deal. I would highly recommend Mercurio's to anyone. I will be a repeat customer & will be using their services to have a heat pump installed very soon.

The furnace in my rental house quit working.  Mercurio s had installed it years ago, so I called them.  After a minor mix up on appointment day and time a pleasant young man arrived.  Watching him work for a short time it was evident he had very little knowledge about troubleshooting anything electrical.  After 30 -40 minutes of changing parts (switches) with no results,  I checked a fuse which appeared good but had 1.5 meg resistance.  Replacing the fuse enabled the furnace to start and heat, but only for a few minutes. Fan would run but no flame to heat. He thought the control box needed replacement which needed to be ordered. That night I consulted YOU TUBE and viewed a schematic of my model and watched troubleshooting videos. Days later a different technician arrived with a new control box and install it with no improvement. After my You Tube education again the technician seemed to be in the dark.  The problem was a limit switch which I suggested  a jumper across to verify and guess what that was it.  Wiring around the switch got the heat on and days later a new switch was installed.   Money wise my only complaint was being charged $102 for a switch that can be bought retail for 24.95.   My tenant was not happy at all about no heat.  I may call them again but they are not my first choice.
