Best Plumbing Services in Texas
I only had a small problem and he was able o help me over the phone by instructing me how I can fix it myself. Other companies wanted to come by for quite some money but Doug is the greatest. He does a good job, is funny at times, and he gives people a chance to fix it themselves before coming over and charging money. I would recommend that you call him first before you get some of these other companies.

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price. I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house. Very highly recommend these guys. Formerly Steve's Plumbing! Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

This is my second review for Lakeway Plumbing (and I generally write very few reviews on Yelp). Just want to reiterate that they are really good and a pleasure to deal with. We had a leak under our kitchen sink on Sunday evening which I was having to mop up every couple hours to prevent the floor from getting damaged. I contacted Erick first thing on Monday morning. He re-arranged his schedule and freed up his plumber to come to our house right away and take care of the problem, all for a very reasonable charge. Very highly recommended.

Tony has only ONE level of service. . . EXCELLENCE. He returned my call. He came to look and quote. He returned to install a new gas water heater ASAP. He was mindful that we have young children, and did not want us to be without hot water to take a shower.
If you want someone who cares, and does quality work, call Tony at One Call Plumbing.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp. His business is NOT closed. It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again. As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card. His phone number is 512-626-8036. Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Paid $550 to have them come clean my AC unit. Didn't check any airflow, showed me before/after pictures of the unit and looked at my Nest thermostat and left. Low and behold a few hours later; my house isn't being cooled to 72 degrees as it had been set, it's now slowly creeping towards the 80 degree mark.
The worst part is when I called them to explain my issue and see if they could come back out (business is literally a mile or two from my house); I was told no technicians. Ok, that's understandable, but when I asked if fees could be waived for not fixing my AC unit the first time and coming out the next morning, I was greeted with hostility. I believe it was something like, I'm sorry what? I can't do that, unbelievable., I am then put on hold for upwards of 10 minutes with no explanation....
I eventually hung up the phone and when I called back, got the same person, albeit a bit nicer saying they were calling technicians for me... Interesting, couldn't have mentioned that when you aggressively put me on hold with no explanation. Also, nothing was mentioned about any sort of fees for the upcoming visit. Definitely cancelling any sort of maintenance contract with them after that experience. And now another day wasted where I have to wait around for them to come. PASS...
UPDATE: 4 Days Later... AC has begun not cooling again. Another call to the company, can't send anyone out today of course. So after 3 visits, 1st being the initial diagnosis, the next being the 4th, they still haven't fixed the problem. Didn't know fixing AC was like playing horseshoes or bags, just throw something at it and hope it works, who cares if it takes them 4 times to fix it. My electric bill is considerably higher than it's ever been. Oh well, live and learn I suppose. And what have we learned today? Not to use 1st Home & Commercial Services....
UPDATE July 16th, 2019: Feel like it's just due diligence to update this review now. Cancelled my maintenance contract so I am only minus $400 dollars and no working AC, guess that's better than $550. So after their 4th visit to my house, they finally determined there was a giant crack in between a vent/furnace in my attic and basically all my cold air was leaking out... SO WHY DID IT TAKE 4 TIMES TO FIND THIS??? I have no idea. Again, it's cost a lot in time (mine and the companies) and energy (bills) for them to determine this. I asked if the tech could send me the pictures he took in my attic, and he said he would send a quote.
July 17th, 2019: Finally received the quote at noon, $370.00 to repair a duct with aluminum tape... Hmmm, hard pass. Even if I have to pay someone double or get up there myself, it would be worth it. That's about how I feel after a week plus of this, 4 visits, and who knows how many phone calls.

Water softener works well enough but the install was an absolute disaster. Installation Tech left an enormous mess without cleaning anything up. My laundry room had multiple 4 to 6 in pieces of PVC pipe all over the floor and drywall dust everywhere from Drilling. They came back out to clean up and did an okay job in the laundry room, but there is still Hardware all over the floor of my garage. Even 3 months after install I'm still finding nails and screws on the floor

I've had to call Jon at American Eagle twice: once for an emergency leaking kitchen sink valve that wouldn't shut off, and last week for two leaking sinks and a rusted On/Off sprinkler valve. Twenty-one year old house, everything has an expiry date. All three issues required new sections of pipe and new valves. Jon also spotted a couple of other issues and wrote everything up, explained the charges to me, and then I picked the most immediate problems for him to fix.
I wasn't prepared to get a new hot water heater but it's good to know I need to watch it. Jon is quick, responsive, careful, professional, and cleans everything up. I highly recommend American Eagle.

Plumbing and HVAC calls can be intimidating, but our experience with TX AC was terrific. Johnny and the team took time to answer our questions, the whole process was streamlined and efficient, and install very timely. Everyone passed our Gizmo (dog) sniff test, which further validated we were in great hands. Highly recommend and will continue to use going forward if issues arise!!

Buyer Beware: Price Gouging at a laughable rate. Honestly they seem to be looking for first time home buyers, Californians who they think will pay exuberant prices, etc.
I had them give me an estimate, for a small but professional project of removing a 8ft long quarter wall and replacing it with railing. I would also be providing the materials. Their quote $13,500.00. These guys have to be high.
I called just to make sure that wasn't a typo. After they confirmed that was the correct price and that they are indeed high (joking, I don't think they were actually high, who knows though). I decided to go with another company.
Tip for GSI:
- you gotta at least be competitive in your market. If I have 4 companies send in quotes and 3 are around 3k-4K range and you guys come in at around 14k with material provided that looks bad.
-With Yelp and Google, each companies work and reviews are visible to the public. It is hard to justify why your work would be 10k more when we can see the quality of past projects
-give these guys some sales training, honestly. It's a bit insulting to a customers intelligence listening to someone try to convince you why the repaint is what justify the 10k difference and sets you apart from competitors.
- if you guys don't have the bandwidth for the project, just simply say you can't help at this time. It will most likely pan out better then saying I'm too busy, F it - I'll give 'em a crazy price and if they agree we'll do it
Hope these tips help!

I found a leak on the main water line out by the street on a Saturday. I looked online, called a few places that wanted to charge an arm and a leg for weekend service. I called Plumb Masters, explained what was going on and they quoted the best price of any place I'd called. The guy came out at the time I was told, did the work quickly at the price I was quoted. These guys are great!! I wouldn't use anyone else in the Leander area.

I had my home warranty service send out a plumber from this business yesterday. My memory is a little iffy when it comes to the guy's name, but I think it was Terry. He was a gentleman and very patient with the numerous questions I had as a new homeowner. He explained everything he was doing, and put my mind at ease about any possible damage the leak could have caused. I was pleased with his service.

I highly recommend C&K plumbing! We had a clogged sink drain. I called C&K at 1pm and Matthew and Colton were at our house at 3pm the same day. They had to rotor rooter with a snake about 75 feet into the drain line to unclog. In addition, they ran a video scope gizmo down the water line to see the clogged portion! They did all this in about 1 hour at a very reasonable charge. Fantastic service and very professional! A big thank you to Nancy of C&K for setting up this service call. Great outfit ! C&K Plumbing is now my go-to plumbing service.

Fantastic customer service. Very reasonable pricing. Was told exactly what I was going to pay before the work started. I highly recommend Affordable Plus Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs. They repaired a toilet that wasn't running, a toilet that wouldn't stop running and a leaky shower.
