I want to post a follow up on my previous post.  Doug, the owner,  called and discussed my experience.  Honest man.  Good listener.  Stand up guy.  I felt he was totally objective and understood what happened.  I can't believe he is refunding my money.  He said something Marty never could say - they got this wrong.  Plus, they will honor the warranty on the pump.  Who does that?  Doug the Plumber does that!  Unheard of in today's business climate.  Will I use them again?  yes!  WillI recommend them?  Yes!
I still have to find an electrician to do the work, but Doug gave me a referral for Easons.

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price.  I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house.  Very highly recommend these guys.  Formerly Steve's Plumbing!  Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

Eric is very reliable, friendly and got the job done on time. He provided a fair quote and brought all the pieces needed.

I had my two old water heaters replaced before the new regulations kicked in and I asked them to replace the drain valves on the new units with ball valves so that they would never clog with sediment.  The installation of the water heaters went well and was a lot of work, but I guess I didn't make myself clear regarding the drain valves.  Instead of replacing the ones that came with the units, they just added the ball valves, defeating the purpose of having them.  It was too late by the time I noticed this, but I figured I could live with it until I do a big flush and replace them myself (I did that on the old ones - it's not rocket science).  Today when I went to do the first mini-drain, the connections between the drain valve and the ball valve on both units sprayed hot water all over.  I had to place a bucket under the valves and a rag over them to control the spray.  Not good.

I'm a software developer, not a plumber, and when I replaced the drain valves on my old water heaters there were no leaks.  While I'm pleased with the installation of the units, I consider the installation of the drain ball valves to be sloppy and even dangerous.

So, moved from Charlotte to Kyle & needed a good quality plumber.  What an experience that was.  Multiple phone calls later, checking Google & Yelp  reviews - I selected C&PP based on my Realtor's advice, Chris Torrey.  What a great & highly professional installation they did for my Insinkerator instant hot water tap & filter system.  Some of the other companies I called were scary - wanted high fees to estimate, wanted to sell me more than I wanted, wanted to promote a good/better/premium service package.  I just wanted good, fair, professional installation - which I got from Clear & Present Plumbing.  My opinion:  HIGHLY Recommended.  Thank you David & Travis!!!  
UPDATE: Travis did a professional install of my water softener - see the photos!  Another company wanted $4500 for a water softener  (no filter) - can you believe it.  I called David & he advised to buy an AO Smith from Lowes & he would install it with a high flow Post (after) Filter.  Look how nice!  Total cost, install, softener, filter, multiple valves, delivery by Lowes, taxes, filter media... less than $2200.  These guys are GREAT!

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

Jimmy showed up right on time and answered all questions I had.  Quality workmanship on our plumbing needs.

This company did the plumbing install on our new house. We had problems from the start. We had out clean out clogged several times. Finally the city came out and ran a camera through the pipe. Their report was shocking and acurate.

The pipe had unnecessary bends, was crushed with a large rock and root, and had a blocked off y fitting in the section. What a joke. Totally Inane...

Excellent service and follow up. Electrical work done by Tim was perfect. I would have given them 5 stars except for their pricing structure which needs to be reviewed, plus it's a bit on the high side.

Alamo Water Softeners has provided my family with great quality soft water/drinking water! They also continue to provide excellent customer service.  I had a few water softener company reps come out, but once we met with Alan, we knew they were the one we wanted to purchase the softener from and do business with.  The no hard sell meeting with Alan was also much appreciated! He was very informative and honest as well. The whole process from the sale to the installation was seamless. The installer was also great to deal with as he was also very knowledgeable and proficient, and answered all my questions patiently. Our home was not pre-plumbed so the installer also took care of that, and I was very worried of all the mess that would occur as it required digging and drilling holes into our walls. At the end, everything was put back in its original state. Anytime I have a question/concern, Trudy is quick to respond. Their water softener has made such a difference in our lives and in our home. I've had to call Jon at American Eagle twice: once for an emergency leaking kitchen sink valve that wouldn't shut off, and last week for two leaking sinks and a rusted On/Off sprinkler valve. Twenty-one year old house, everything has an expiry date. All three issues required new sections of pipe and new valves. Jon also spotted a couple of other issues and wrote everything up, explained the charges to me, and then I picked the most immediate problems for him to fix.

I wasn't prepared to get a new hot water heater but it's good to know I need to watch it. Jon is quick, responsive, careful, professional, and cleans everything up. I highly recommend American Eagle.

Martin and his team are awesome. I called on a Friday afternoon for a quote to replace my A/C and they came. Martin was at a conference out of town but he took time to call me and answer all my questions. They did a great job on the install and did it on a Saturday. I will use them from now on.

Tony and his crew did great, quick, and very thorough work. We had GIS paint and frame out exhaust for a new portable AC unit. Their quote was very reasonable and we'll hire them again.

Second time using Plumb Masters and great results again! They came out same day and with some extra persistence, they solved my plumbing problem.
Brian and Oliver were helpful, told me what they were doing as they did it, and checked a few other plumbing things to make sure everything worked great.

Erick and Shane were awesome. We called at noon and they were here by 2:30, brought in some pretty good equipment to snake the pipes, fixed a few other things and were out before the hour was up.

They also did a stellar job of cleaning up after themselves despite the mess that was being made while they were working.

Highly recommend. Awesome plumbers.

I highly recommend C&K plumbing! We had a clogged sink drain. I called C&K at 1pm and Matthew and Colton were at our house at 3pm the same day. They had to rotor rooter with a snake about 75 feet into the drain line to unclog. In addition, they ran a video scope gizmo down the water line to see the clogged portion! They did all this in about 1 hour at a very reasonable charge. Fantastic service and very professional! A big thank you to Nancy of C&K for setting up this service call. Great outfit ! C&K Plumbing is now my go-to plumbing service.

They showed up on time, did a great job.  I owuld recommend them and will hire them again if needed.
