Best Plumbing Services in Texas
We asked for help with some stuff that we just couldn't fix on our own.
Came out when he said he would, was right on time. Professional and courteous gentleman. Helped us get our water system back on line after some serious freeze damage from URI 2021. He knows how to fix stuff. We would use his services again if needed.

Blue Lion Plumbing was recommended to me through Next Door app when I asked for plumbing recommendations. They did not disappoint. They are price competitive, genuine, reliable company. The plumber who came out both times actually did little tweaks that weren't part of the original job. He fixed my faucet so it wasn't spraying all crazy even though he was there to replace the bath and shower fixtures. I will definitely be using them here on out for all my plumbing needs!

Our water heater went out and we needed a replacement fast. Gabe was the first to reach out and offered to replace our unit the same day. His quote was very affordable compared with others that we received. His work is high quality and he made adjustments so if there is a need in the future repairs will be easier to perform. I highly recommend Gabe, and we now have a new plumber!

Very disappointed in Chambliss. I have used them on a few different jobs and have found that they are 1 very expensive and 2 do shotty work. Most recently I had a big leak in a yard faucet I had them install in my front yard. The work cost a little over $500 and looked very make shift. They had two steel stakes (different sizes) with very sharp edges sticking out of the ground and then taped the pipe to the stake. The tops of the stakes were very sharp and definitely a safety hazard and the pipe was not secure at all. Again, this looked very make shift and not a professional job. Fast forward 1 year and there is water leaking all over the yard from this faucet. I contacted Chambliss to see if this would be covered under any type of warranty and it is not. They told me they would send someone over to take a look at the job and no one ever showed up. I just had another plumber go out and repair the job at a cost of $232 and plumber showed me that this was due to shotty work. very disappointed here

Our journeyman plumber, Brayan Mercado, was excellent. He explained what was happening with our inferior water pressure, correctly diagnosed the issue and repaired it in the same visit. He even gave me some helpful suggestions that I could do to further keep things in good shape. Brayan was very pleasant to work with and very capable! Thanks for such a good experience!

Jimmy and Mason went above and beyond to gain me as a customer. I first had the pleasure of dealing with Mason over the phone (who has merged All Around Home Services with Jimmy at Iconic Plumbing to form a super customer focused, affordable and detail oriented plumbing company.) It was Jimmy who showed up on a Saturday to install my complicated faucet, garbage disposal, cook top and dishwasher. He started with the 6 burner cook top...then on his own, he gifted us with a gas leak alarm to give me extra piece of mind since I have four children and a gas leak is something I fear. I had ordered a part from Amazon on my own that wasn't here yet so he actually left and came back a few hours later to finish the job after my part showed up. He even ran to Home Depot to get parts that I thought I had available for him but didn't. These are very honest guys and I am so grateful to have found them. They have a customer for life and I highly recommend this company.

Called him up and he came out same day to fix our leak. He was super nice and extremely professional. He did not try to up sell us on any services. Would definitely use him again and hands down recommend him to anyone who need a fast, reliable and quality plumber.

5 stars for the responsiveness and communication of Cody in particular when it came to getting a visual inspection prior to the expiration of our option period for a property out in Paige. He was able to make a last minute appointment (at 7am!) to come out and take a look for us and provide a professional opinion and basic quote.

Gold Star Leak and Repair is a scam. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on a phoney leak detection. The technicians don't have the right equipment and Gold Star is incapable of producing a report of findings that is actionable for any repair. You will then find that they don't response to texts, emails and phone calls after they have your money. They are basically committing fraud by positioning themselves as a pool leak detection and repair company.

Some recent issues have got me downgrading the stars. Poor toilet installation being the main issue.

This company is so unprofessional - do yourself a favor and use home advisor to find a reliable and professional company. The workers arrived at our house and immediately spat on our driveway twice. When I didn't want to use their services still charged me $35 for nothing. This company should be looked at by Yelp as those reviews must be fake to build up their profile! I contacted another company and they didn't charge for a quote. And did not spit. I'm not a racist but a believer in respect. I paid $35 for nothing. Update: I used another company from home advisor. They came on time, were polite, and did not spit on my driveway. They were paid for their work what they charged us. No problems- I gave them 5 /5. They were from a non white background so there is no racism on my part. Just will not accept that this company is even licensed and they were rude on my property ! That's about their unprofessional behavior not mine.

Knowledgeable plumbers, great service! Reasonably priced in comparison with other experienced companies.

This company was great. Fast, honest, and resonable. I had to have my water turned off as water was coming out the over flow valve,, yesterday. Another company told me it was the high pressure valve.. 650. This company did it all for 168. I will feel confident calling them out again. Thank you for not hearing a female voice on the other end of the phone and trying to rip me off. I appreciate your professional company.

They turned what another company said would be a $1000 worth of wall and tile damage, plus plumbing charges on top of that, into an under $400 repair with no wall damage. I knew 24/7 Plumbing was not being ethical with their bid and I was right. Glad I got a second opinion from Kelly Williams Plumbing.

Would not even, give them one star.
But it wouldn't let me post unless I checked one star. At the beginning they sounded very helpful. That was just to get you from looking elsewhere. So they put you on the schedule for a technician to go out and look at the problem. Them we will contact main office and see if we have part in stock. Two days later, no news. I call and email and don't get a reply until the following day. Till this day no answer, no follow up. This was from February 22,2021. I understand your busy, especially with the latest crazy weather. But don't take in jobs that you can't follow up with. A simple email stating you haven't forgotten about me would be nice. Especially in a time of crisis is when you need to step it up with your service.

First, let me say that all of these reviews really worried me. I called American Home Shield for some plumbing problems. The first company referred to me, I asked them to change because of their reviews. Then they assigned this company. Yes, again skeptical but decided to give them a chance. I received a call from Jason Lewis the next morning after my request. We set up the appt. for him to come to my house. He gave me a 2 hr. window and arrived within the first hour. Good. I showed him the leak under my kitchen sink, leak in the bathtub and 2 toilets that were leaking slowly. (It happens, stoppers wear out). He fixed the sink, the toilets but needed a part for the bathtub. After a few days, I checked the kitchen sink and discovered there was still a small leak. I contacted Jason, left message and he returned my call the next day. He had the bathtub part and set up the 2 hr window appt. Again, he showed up within the first hour. Regarding the kitchen sink, there was another leak that he missed, because the first leak was so strong. He found the gasket broken, fixed that leak and repaired the bathtub with the new part. I have no complaints. I just find it very hard to understand how this company can have so many bad reviews and only a few good ones. Maybe people just complain more when things go wrong. Nobody is perfect. When looking through my records, I realize this company came out to my house a few years ago and I don't remember any problems. Jason was prompt, professional, friendly, clean and pleasant. Let me suggest that when you review a business, especially a bad review, please be careful and don't exaggerate, don't be mean and spiteful just to be mean and spiteful. Some people attack for no reason, looking for things to fail. Treat kindness with kindness. It's possible some of these reviews came from poor attitude toward the contractor, who knows? It isn't an excuse, but I never had any reason to complain about the service.

I hired Bruce Gault of Affordable Plumbing to have all of my plumbing replaced in my 900 sqft cottage.
He completely ignored the schematic, putting the kitchen pipes in the wrong place so I couldn't install my cabinets. When I contacted him, he said that he didn't even look at the schematic and charged me and additional $210 to move one water line two inches over so that my cabinet would fit. When I called for the final inspection (which he didn't even show up for), I had six fails on his plumbing. He wanted to charge me again to fix his errors, after already paying him over $4800 for my 2x1 cottage. Seriously, he wanted to charge additional to bring his plumbing up to code. The quality of his work is phenomenally poor. Mind you, this was a complete renovation and he worked from the studs, no drywall or obstacles. I hired another plumber to come in and fix his mistakes. This is absolutely the worst contractor I have ever worked with. The pictures of my project are AFTER he completed the job. BEWARE

For starters, Doing one job at a time like their website claims, is absolute crap. I lost count of how many times Lucy & Tom (master plumber & proj mgr) actually told us they had too many jobs to keep up with & were so busy; I really need to get over to this one in Westlake Hills, so yours HAS to be finished tomorrow even though there were SO MANY problems left unaddressed! We chose L&M based on the reviews & photos on their site & regret it. To be told straight to her face that this is not a job we want to take photos of for our website by Lucy herself blew my roommate away & proved their true work ethic. She wasn't talking about design, colors, etc. the work is so poor & shoddy she didn't want to take credit for it! Fortunately, I work in Facilities & have had many opportunities to share the experience with other coworkers & industry professionals and refer them elsewhere. I will be the first to say my roommate's house has a lot of problems, its run down, but this bathroom was remodeled by people who didn't care about their workmanship & its abundantly clear in the photos taken the day Tom left after arguing this was as good as anyone would do. 3 times my roommate had to demand the painters come back because they did such a crappy job. If you saw it yourself (contact me, I'll be happy to share pictures & offer better referrals), you would think my friends painted it & say, man, yall should have hired some professionals! On the tub, there were two different colors of caulk used. It's messy & my roommate confronted Tom about it several times-he told her it was the best they could do & anyone who does this would have the same results. You can barely push on the shower wall but hear it cave in, stick to the hardy plank behind it & pop back up. She pointed that out too & Tom actually told her don't worry it's glued down real good around the edges. I'm not takin' it off now! Seriously?! I will give credit that they came up w/some solutions to the walls being uneven around the vanity & chose good quality parts, but the actual work they did is just embarrassing. We feel like we were ripped off in the worst way & taken advantage of since we did complain repeatedly, send photos of our concerns to Lucy & were basically bullied into backing down because they were just too busy to deal with our small project! When Lucy came & did the initial quote my roommate told her she didn't want it painted or tiled and that money was an issue. Lucy pushed & insisted on including the costs in the quote anyway-we asked for a breakdown & couldn't get one; Lucy guaranteed we'd be happier having them do it. We both really wish we'd not backed down to her bullying & done it ourselves! Tom again said after the 3rd time the painters came back that nobody would cut a line straighter than this! There's paint on shower walls (he says, well, just scrape it off Um, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have to scrape it off!), paint running over the line where the tile meets the wall, door frame/ceiling look horrendous. But L&M will no doubt be quick to tell you they use contractors for that & can't control them...Lucy had to come out herself to fix some plumbing issues because they were so busy (doing one job at a time HA!) that she couldn't get her go-to guy to come do it for her. He had to come anyway the next day. Nobody who visits sees that work though, they see the tacky paint lines, the messy caked on caulk that's different colors, the gaping openings where the side panels of the shower should meet. You can't convince me water's not getting in there like Tom claimed. There are huge gaps where two of the walls meet that weren't caulked at all, much less in different colors! L&M overcharges for the quality, doesn't care about their actual customers wants/requests & steamrollers you into paying for what L&M will get the most money for, adding on extra things you specifically said you didn't want while talking down to you like you're a complete moron until you give in & agree stupidly thinking that, as professionals, they must know best. They rush through jobs without taking care of the things that are most noticeable cosmetically. My roommate actually asked Tom point blank: Tom! If this were in your home, would you leave it like this? he sheepishly said, Well, no I wouldn't so she said, ok, then don't expect me to accept it in mine! She complained & let him know she was not happy, she'd already emailed Lucy several times about concerns, including photos (we still have the emails too) & everytime it was just pushed off. They made her feel so inferior that it just became easier to get them out!Having the messes & carelessness fixed doesn't even matter anymore but we are both making absolutely sure to share this with everyone we meet & let them know this is not the place they want to take their business to. I'm glad I've had the opportunity to keep at least 4 people from taking business here simply by showing them the photos.

Needed to replace the drain line from house to sewer; they used shovels to dig up the old and dig a new trench instead of power equipment. Took days, works adequate but the bill was padded to cover three people who worked less than 3 hours. 30% more than the bill should have been. Will not use again. Left some areas needing further attention after completing the plumbing work. Decent work but will gouge you with the bill. Not a good neighborhood business to call on.
