Lance was AMAZING and KNOWLEDGEABLE.

I was in a bind when Best Buy delivered my washer and dryer and they told me they couldn't complete the job because the water drain line needs to be opened for them to thread the washer line down. I didn't know what they were talking about. They told me they couldn't do it because they didn't want to be responsible for any damage. And I needed to use my washer today. I searched several plumbers and a majority of them were closed on Sundays, one was closed for the holidays per their answering service and one other one said they would get back to me but they never did.

I continued my search and called Lance. He texted me back right away and was extremely responsive, was able to accommodate a same day appointment and he fixed not only accessing the washer water drain line but he connected my washer, and also helped me find out what was wrong with my dishwasher (cycle would run but no water) and my sink disposal (builders had somehow let rocks get in there). His service fee was very reasonable especially for a same day appointment which I was extremely grateful for.

My husband and I have been living with various plumbing issues for months and have had a terrible time trying to find a licensed technician who we can trust to provide excellent service and pricing, but SJ Rooter & Plumbing exceeded our expectations. Johnny responded to our quote request immediately, and within hours was hard at work! He definitely went the extra mile - not only was the quality of his repair and install exceptional, but he even made a trip to a hardware store to find a part we needed! He's incredibly personable, responsible and efficient, and we'll be sure to call him again for any of our future plumbing needs. Initially we had wanted to get several quotes before pulling the trigger on any one company, but we were so impressed with Johnny we hired him on the spot and are incredibly satisfied. Called one night about 7:30 pm and they were at my house 1:30 pm the next day - actually a little bit early.  Super responsive, friendly, and consultative.  Pricing was quite reasonable.  Family run business - Nestor came to our house.  This will be my go to plumber going forward!

Left a vmail on a Sunday asking for a call back.  Never received call back.  For this lack of service, they get a 1 star review.  Left a message with a different plumber who called back right away.  Gee, must be nice to not need my business.

I have had Lanco complete a a couple of of repairs in the past and they just installed a water heater for me today. I have always found them to be professional and they get the work done quickly (e.g. I called about the water heater yesterday and they were able to get it done today). Their prices are fair, and their office staff is very knowledgeable as well. I spoke to Fran several times to set up the appointment and she was very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done. After working with them a few times over the course of 4 years or so, I can confidently recommend Lanco!

The good: Had service the same day and within a short time after placing the service call and the problem (clogged sewer line) was fixed.
The not so good: I was overcharged - I had a feeling that was the case and I confirmed it when I installed a new heater a few weeks later using another company and asked for a quote for the job that was done. Also, service was not professional - never got a receipt for the work done and a request for a follow up to check 1-2 possible causes for the problem was basically ignored.

Aldo was next door doing an estimate. i asked him to come and look at the work we needed. he estimated it and i ok'd the estimate. next morning, i got a call from Dracy, who did an outstanding job on our work. he was professional, knew his work quite well, fast, and cleaned up very nicely. after he was finished, he and i checked everything together. very happy.

they will be our plumbers of choice.

I highly recommend Joe the Plumber. I hired him because his referrals were stellar (he's big on Angie's List), and now that he's fixed my leaky hot water heater, I can see why he's so popular. He was fast to respond to my call, and arrived when he said he would. He made short work of repairing the leak, explained the problem thoroughly to me, and charged me a fair price. I will definitely use him again!

Nick's was a lifesaver for us when our water heater went out. We needed a bit of extra work done to get our water heater up to code, and had issues with 2 other companies who either weren't able to do the work, or charged an arm and a leg. Nick's was efficient, affordable, and professional. They will definitely be our first call the next time we have a plumbing issue!
