Great service. Reliable. Nice personnel. No bull. Knowledgeable. Highly likely to hire them again. May even sign up for their HVAC maintenance program. I really like it when local businesses are great businesses.

We had guests for the weekend. They told me Friday night at almost midnight that 2 drains were clogged. Lantz's team was out there by noon on Saturday, fixed both items and gave great advice on prevention. I love them!

My septic tank alarm sparked my call to Lantz's   Within 12 hrs Brandon was dispatched after the office emailed me a pic and bio. I am happy that my 3 yr old pump was not the cause for the alarm. PVC pipes melted from the recent extreme heat. When the cap was lifted off the tank at 8 am boiling hot water was observed. Brandon replaced the pipes and had time to check on a few other small  plumbing issues inside my house. Water heater stopped working.  Not only did Lantz come out way after hours to fix it but also honored the warranty!  I can't say enough about this company..ever time I have an issue they respond fast and are extremely fair.  I will always use them and recommend them.  Brandon the tech went way above to make sure it was fixed right... thank you

Lantz's has a fantastic team of technicians and their customer service is amazing. We never have a problem getting an appointment and the technicians are always professional.  We've worked with Lantz's team three different times and never had a bad experience. You've made a customer for life!

Even though we already paid contractor, 1 Four Handcrafted for plumbing, Lantz's did not finish the job. They set showers back too far and we had to rip out a bunch of tile to fix it. Cost us even more money. I am much happier with the other plumbing company that we hired to fix the work and finish the job.

I highly recommend Lantz Lakeside Plumbing for your plumbing needs no matter how large or small the project is.  Matthew arrived on time with a courtesy call prior to arrival.  He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

The quote process went smoothly; the guy (Mark Milner) that showed up was on time and very friendly. We received the quote within a couple days and we were very happy with it and so we planned to proceed with Lantz. However, we were told *multiple* times by the lady responsible for handling calls and scheduling that she needed to discuss with the guys to determine how many days required. We waited a week, then called her back, being told that she hadn't found time to talk with them about the days required (what?). OK, this happens 3 times(!); we call to see if she has dates yet, but somehow over 3-4 weeks, she has not found the time to schedule our project. Very disappointing as we had a great experience with everyone and the quote process except the gatekeeper on the other end of the phone line. We eventually went with Dennis from Gotcher Plumbing - I can't say enough good things about Gotcher - his quote was better the Lantz's, he was a great communicator, on time, and professional. I highly recommend Gotcher!

I have used Lantz's Plumbing since I moved to Spicewood over four years ago.  A few years back, I had an opportunity to speak with Lantz about a service item I was concerned about.  He was very accommodating and resolved my issue quickly.  

Tim came over today to maintain my Grinder Pump and did a great job!   Tim was on time and called prior to getting to my home.  It helps to have such a pleasant and respectful service person like Tim.  

In addition, the fees are reasonable and the service extremely good.  All the important points to complete the package.

Water leak just past the water meter on the homeowners side.   Called and they came right out.  Family company.  Nice blue van. Young man (20's) was very friendly and seemed to know what he was doing.  Fortunately, he was able to pinpoint the leak in about an hour.

This review is way overdue.. we have a house with a grinder pump which is something that strikes fear in the heart of homeowners because of the costs associated with them. When ours went out, my husband tried to fix it himself but by 430PM it was clear that wasn't going to happen. I called Lantz's and Tiffany was so sweet and friendly and no kidding- had someone at our house in less than 10 minutes! They identified the issue, were able to get the part and came earlier than expected the next day to do a great job. I can't say enough about their friendly, reliable service- all at a reasonable price. I hope I don't have a plumbing issue in the near future, but when I do, they'll be whom I call.

I picked lantz's because we were having a grinder pump issue and the specialize in grinder pumps.

The grinder pump failure caused sewage to backup, but when the grinder pump was cleared, one section of plumbing didnt clear. The lantz's plumber cleared it and it was all good.

After a lot of flushes the next bathroom down the plumbing line turned out to now be clogged. I had lantz's come back. This time they used a camera and discovered the clog had moved down the plumbing stack but wasnt a full clog. Water was backing up over time, but could still run through the system.

They cleared the clog and didnt charge for the second visit.

Lantz's plumbing knows how to treat their customers! This review is long overdue. Very frustrated over a $338 water bill from Lago Vista utilities, I called Lantz's plumbing to come check for leaks. They found zero leaks inside or outside of the home. A day after the service, I called to ask them for a letter to show their findings so I could dispute my water bill. The man on the other end of the phone was very accommodating, very polite, went out of his way to make sure I knew how to read my water meter (a new type, not like the ones I'm used to reading). After Lantz said let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you , I said oh, I haven't been charged the service call fee yet. I need to pay you for that. He said his service guy didn't charge me for it because he didn't have to fix anything. I absolutely said, Thank you! Lantz's plumbing spent gas, and time to come take a look at my plumbing and did not charge me even the $35 dollar trip charge. That's excellent customer service! That's how you should treat others, how you would want to be treated! Lantz's plumbing will certainly get all my plumbing business from now on! My father-in-law was very impressed and surprised with the customer service I received when I told him about how the owner went out of his way to help me and didn't even charge me a penny. I totally would've expected to at least pay the trip charge for the gas he used to get out here. I might add, this is how my Dad, who owned a business (retired), did business as well. My Dad always said There's enough honest business out there. When you treat people right, they'll come back because you treated them the way you should treat them; with honesty and courtesy. He is right! I will definately call Lantz's Plumbing next time I need a plumber! (Which is every year at least because I have a grinder pump that requires annual maintenance.) Excellent customer service!

I called for my septic sewer line and lantz's lakeside plumbing did a wonderful job.  They found the issue in a matter of minutes and were priced right. Chris was very responsive and I appreciated his honesty and integrity. I will be using this company for many years to come when in need.

After some shoddy plumbing work on a sink in my parent's house came unhooked in the drywall (the pipes were TAPED together ), Chris and Toby came out to make the repairs. They were professional, quick to respond, and did a quality job with the repairs. Plumbing is always pricey, but the quote seemed reasonable given the amount of work. Thank you, Lantz Plumbing!

I called Lantz's plumbing from LakeTravisPlumbing.com and left a message on a Friday afternoon, and someone called me back Saturday morning (he called me from a noisy location and I couldn't hear the name of whoever called) and I set up an appointment for 1pm, as we had two faucets leaking.

At 1pm, two very young men pulled up in Lantz's plumbing van.  I'm guessing they were about 20 years old.  They came in and got to work.  The bathroom faucet was leaking because it had the wrong type of plastic pea trap installed.  I don't know why the kitchen faucet was leaking, but I believe it was missing a part (in retrospect, I should have exchanged the faucet).

These two young men spent THREE HOURS messing around with the plumbing.  One of them stood around cussing in our kitchen.  The two of them were having loud conversations that mostly went, F--- this and F---ing that.  Lots of bad language, and after three hours I was frantic for them to leave.

They presented me with a bill for $409 for fixing the leak at two faucets and checking the existing plumbing connections.  This job would have taken a competent plumber less than an hour.

I asked the boys if they thought that was fair, if they'd done $409 worth of work, and they shrugged and said yes, and that I could contact their boss.

I sent Lantz's plumbing an email (using the contact form on their website at LakeTravisPlumbing.com) and it's been 4 days and no one has replied.  Obviously, I'm very upset, and would recommend that you NOT ever use this company for your plumbing needs.

They were quick to respond to a call,  but charged $325 to clear a disposal and snake the drain.  What a RIP off

Excellent service from office staff and Tim. He was available for questions after hours. Installed shower fixtures in one hour. Answered all my questions thoroughly. Office staff responsive and friendly.

Very friendly and helpful. Both Chris and Jarrod did a great job helping us to clean up the clog in the main drain pipe that caused chaos in a cold winter night. Great work!

Website said they give a senior discount. that wasnt given & when I asked about Jarrett said he could give me a hug!!! The $35.00 service charge was not deducted from the repair, i was told it would be.  The leak that was supposed to be capped off, continued to drip all weekend before they came back to stop the leak.  Took me several days to get a receipt.

These people are wonderful! The day after my mom's husband passed away she had a plumbing issue. They were out here on a weekend, did an amazing job, and were so friendly and efficient.  These are the people to call when you need good quality work done!!

I used Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing for a rental property I owned in Cedar Park.  The guys were right on time & professional.  The pricing was very affordable and the issues were fixed the right way, the first time.  I'd highly recommend them!

We have used Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing twice and have been completely satisfied with the service we received.

The first time they came out we thought we needed to have our grinder pump replaced. When they checked it out the found the previous plumber we used had messed up the floats and all it needed was a cleaning and straightening of the floats. They could have gone ahead and replaced the pump and charged us a lot more. They were honest and did a great job. We haven't had a problem with the grinder pump since the worked on it over a year ago.

Today a phoned them my kitchen drain was backing up and was slow to drain. They came out and cleaned the drain and checked the grinder pump to ensure everything was still alright.

Fantastic service and friendly service personnel. They will be who we call if we have any other plumbing issues.

Adam came out on a late saturday afternoon, they were the only company that answered our call. The grinder pump went out and we couldnt use the toilet. Adam diagnosed the problem and explained how the system worked. The repair was $175 and we're very thankful for their help!

Called on a Monday morning regarding a leak we found over the weekend.  The man who answered the phone informed me they would not be able to get to us until Wednesday , and if they could get there sooner they would call.  Wednesday rolls around and no call , no show. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited until 5pm to call them and ask what happened and just got a cold shoulder shrug as if that's normal business at Lantz. Was told maybe the next afternoon and that they had been telling everyone they were busy that week. Well , as a matter of fact , NO you didn't or would have called a different company that day.  No excuse for  not calling with today's technology. I do general contract work and wish i could just take someones info and then show up on m y day of choice at my leisure , what a nice world that must be.

Update - got a phone call this morning with an apology.  Nice thing for the company to do as most wont even do this anymore , but the fact remains , do what you say you are going to in the first place and the hassle is avoided all together.

Just moved to Lago Vista less than a week ago and was snubbed by the previous homeowners and left with a horrible plumbing issue! Bad pipes! Called up Lantz's and they came out with three men  ready to get to work (one of which was the owner to make sure everything was getting done well!).The bonus was that they knew the history of the property from previous jobs they had been called out for so they were able to unclog the sewer pipes and get me back on my way pretty quickly! They even beat Rescue Rooter's prices for the job!!

The unfortunate part for me is there more work to be done. I will update as soon as everything is complete; but until then I think it should be known that these were the friendliest, helpful and knowledgeable men I've worked with. They've got my business for life!

I needed an emergency repair of my sewage pump system and Lantz's response was both prompt and expertly executed.  I called late on Saturday and they came and fixed the issue first thing Monday morning, without even the need for me to be present for the repairs.  I would recommend their services to anyone in Lago Vista and the surrounding area.

We called Lantz Lakeside Plumbing for service on a Thursday, man came out on Friday. Great!  He said he'd work up a quote over the weekend.  Great!  We waited until Wednesday to call (figured he was busy, job not an emergency). Receptionist said that day & 6 more days when we called that he was working on the quote & kept promising he'd call back. Several times she said  he'd call in 30 minutes.  After two weeks we gave up.  A month later, my husband was in the area.  Still perplexed about the situation (& in need of a plumber) he went into the Lago Vista office.  A man who said he was the Comptroller said some one would call the next day. No one ever called.  Fair warning to yelpers.

I've been working with Lantz's Plumbing a little over 1 year.  They've helped me with clogged toilets, moving a water heater, and installing new bathroom fixtures.  The response time is quick no matter what time of the day or night and the prices are reasonable.  All of the guys are friendly, honest and hard-working.  I recommend them to everyone in the area.

There is not word to describe how good they are, I called an  they made room for me, in 20 mn they were in my house. nice, friendly, professional and customer service oriented. they prices very reasonable the young guy who came went above and beyond to get everything resolved. They troubleshoot and cleaned the grinder outside of the house in not time. they will have my business for ever.
