Malco Electric Electrician
I just sent Chris and Eliot out the door, and--as usual--they made life better while they were in my home. From Sherry who answers the phone to Chris or whoever comes out in the call, these people are running their business the way I wish everyone would. They have never let me down once in all the years I've used them, in three different homes. It's so unusual to place a service call and start feeling less stressed the minute I dial the number, but that's what happens when I dial Malco. Every time.

Texas Electrical Services Electrician
I had two ceiling fans and a programmable switch installed to control my outdoor lights. They also fixed an issue with my doorbell not getting power. The guys did an outstanding job and cleaned up really well. Will absolutely call on them again for any electrical needs.

Grayzer Electric Electrician
We've used Grayzer Electric twice within the past year.  The first time was to install several recessed ceiling lights and most recently to install a new Tesla wall charger in our garage.  Both times we were very happy with the results.  Communication was beyond excellent.  The technicians were prompt and professional.  In fact, when the Tesla charger was installed, we had the City of Austin come by and inspect it.  As expected, the work passed without issue.  But interestingly, the inspector added that he never had any issues with any work that Grayzer had done and thought they always did quality work.

Max Electrical Services Electrician
Darin installed a 50 amp circuit and an outlet for a car charger in my garage a couple of years ago.   The plug went bad last week and Darin fixed it under warranty even though it was no fault of his.  He's super responsive and has great integrity.  Highly recommend!

Russell Electric Electrician
Pros:  Came out within 30 mins of me calling them. The hour rate quoted on the phone was $100 plus repairs. That was $50 less than everyone else I called and none of them could make it out that day.

Cons: don't expect any kind of wiggle room on the price if it turns out that you are an idiot and never needed to call an electrician in the first place.

Let me explain. The can lights in our kitchen, recently remodeled, stopped working. For 6 months my wife and I have exclusively used one switch on the countertop to control these lights. A week ago they cut out. We had completely forgotten about the other 3-way switch in the hallway because it had been blocked by boxes and other things from the move. The switch didn't even exist in our minds. 2 seconds into the electrician coming into the house he flips the switch and I have a good laugh. Problem solved in my mind. Since he's made the trip out I ask him to take a look at some other things. My thinking being.  Ok, I'm out $100 minimum for a silly mistake, let's try to knock out some other simple things. I had a ceiling fixture that needed a shallow breaker box. I hadn't been able to find one at a big box store. I asked him to quote me on that. We had some confusion at the beginning that I will give him the benefit of the doubt on. Originally i was thinking he wanted to charge me an extra $100 diagnostic fee. Plus a charge for a repair. It wasn't until I complained and we went back and forth a little that he came off the extra $100! Or I could of been reading the situation wrong and it was a misunderstanding. I specifically remember him saying it was $100 minimum per issue though. So we move on. He tells me it's $75 for the shallow breaker box. I ask him if since the other one was such a silly mistake if he could do $150. Still in my mind that's damn near highway robbery but I thought that would be doable and a nice gesture on their part since it was laughable how stupid I'd been to call them. He stays firm on the $75. I don't push the issue anymore. I let him spend 5-10 mins putting 2 screws in and run my card for $175.

Long story short. I'm an idiot. Monday's suck. I should of been an electrician. And don't expect any kind of good faith gesture in silly scenarios like this. A price is a price is a price.

My review was pretty clear and 100% honest and accurate.
*You came in.
*Turned on a light switch (to fix a silly mistake that my wife and I missed).
*Used two screws to install a shallow breaker box that I couldn't find at Home Depot. You charged me $175.
* In my house total for probably 8 mins.

People can decide for themselves if they think that is a fair and going rate. I'm glad you have thousands of happy customers. Sorry that one of them gets a little annoyed when they feel like they just got hosed.

Magnify Electric Electrician
Couldn't be happier with the professionalism of Tom and his partner. Very fair pricing & honest estimate. They installed four sconces on walls that weren't already wired fir sconces. They were careful not to damage newly painted walls. I will not hesitate to call them again for all our electrical needs. Well done!

Megawatts Pro, LLC Electrician
Dustin was recommended to me by my hair stylist. I needed to replace an entry light and a pendent light over the bar.  The day before the job was scheduled Dustin called to confirm what was to be done and the arrival time. Dustin and his helper Joshua arrived on time and completed the task without a hitch. I commend both of them on their professional demeanor and great  customer service...My new light fixtures look great. Thanks guys!

Brightside Electrical Electrician
Jonathan the owner did my electrical work this morning.  He was early to the work assignment, did an excellent job on trenching, running low voltage wire and installing 4 spot lights for a HOA entrance sign.  Worked quickly to complete the job.  Excellent communication throughtout the process.  He had the lowest bid among the 4 finalist.  I am having him doing another job when he has the time.  al

Bear Electric Electrician
We've been redoing our kitchen for what seems like forever! Nearing the finish line and wanted a good electrician to hang our lights. Found Scott on Yelp and after reading the reviews I knew I was done looking. He hung our lights yesterday and they are amazing!!!! We are so in love with them. He consulted me and my husband several times during the install and the finished look is perfection. We had him come back out to install a light in our office and will bring him back for another round of electrical needs in the near future. They are fast, clean up behind themselves and their work is spot on. Even if you have to wait on Scott, trust me he's absolutely worth waiting on. The high marks he gets from his other customers are well deserved!

Raymond responded to my quote request within literally a minute or two, knew exactly what to ask to determine what they needed in order to quote the job properly, and offered me a same-day appointment for the installation! This company really seems to have their stuff together. I will update this response following the work being completed

Raptor Electrical Services Electrician
Moved into a new house 6 months ago and since then had some issue with the lights flickering and even more issues when adding led bulbs and dimmers.

I called multiple very reputability companies to fix my issue over the last several months and if anything the issues got worse.  I guess I should not drop the other companies names but they were all qualified master electricians from well known companies.  The all charged me and did some sort of fix that never actually fixed the issues.  Money down the drain.

I have spend so much time and money new switches and light bulbs as that was mostly what I was told was the issue.

I called Raptor by chance and they responded very quickly,  I relayed my issues and told them of my frustration with other electricians. Alejandro said he can fix it, he was very confident, I was skeptical.

He and his brothers showed up and got to work.  First they listened to my crazy story and then He was the first electrician to go in the attic and found that someone had hooked up my pendant lights wrong crossing some wires in a very minor way.  However that issue was causing the issues.

They removed some lights fixtures and fixed the wiring in the house and also tested several dimmers that I had bought to see which ones would work best.

Amazing team at Raptor -- don't use anyone else!!!!

Texas Electrical Connect Electrician
We need a kitchen outlet upgrade from 15amp to 20amp, an A/C heat pump circuit for the garage, a circuit power tap to hide cables for the mounted TV. They came same day quoted (impossible in Austin these days) and provided a reasonable quote. Professional through and through. Answered all my dumb DIY questions and even hoisted the heat pump up into the loft at no extra charge. Anytime I have an electrical project beyond my DIY skillset, these will be the first group I call. Don't let the quantity of reviews in 2022 scare you away. These guys are top notch!

3 Wire Electric Electrician
We purchased 6 acres of raw land a few years ago and took on all of the GC work ourselves. Which of course includes finding businesses to plumb, drill, build and bring in power. Maury has proven time and time again that he has the skills and extensive knowledge required to help with the multiple buildings we have on site. His recommendations have not only saved us money, but have also improved the overall design. I highly recommend this business and the professionalism that Maury brings.

Handyman Dan Electrician
Dan did a great job at our house with a bunch of repairs.  He installed lighting fixtures, grab bars in the tub and shower, repaired and painted sheet rock, painted cabinets and doors and caulked around woodwork outdoors.  He was prompt in replying to our request for an estimate and on time and efficient in completing the work.  I highly recommend him and plan to use him again in the future
