Ok- so we all know that needing an electrician can be daunting. Are they knowledgeable? Do they know their stuff? Is their price fair?

The answer to these questions is Travis with Avery Electrical services! We used them a few years ago- yes years!- and they were fantastic. Then, just recently, we needed some feedback for a new build and chose to call Travis. We trust him and man am I glad we did! He answered all our questions, gave us excellent advice and I really wish he could be the one actually doing the work! Heck- I am inclined to have him review it before sign-off! Anyways, here is our review of him and his team- I would 1000% recommend them and when we need them- we will call them again!

The breaker to the dishwasher kept tripping. With a newborn at home, my eldest's graduation party the next day, and after failed attempts to find what was wrong with my dishwasher I called in desperation to Avery and within hours my issue was resolved and I had my kitchen back with the ability to run my dishwasher!

Great customer service experience included:

2. Knew my problem with the help of a photo

4. Clear pricing and offered additional recommended services, but didn't push them
5. Same day lightening fast service
6. Sent an email receipt upon completion

I called Avery and spoke with Travis about an issue with a GFCI outlet.  Travis took the time to review the issue and offer possible solutions.  I tried the solution Travis suggested and it solved the problem.  I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism.  As we all know, most companies would have set up a service call and charged a lot for something that was a 3 min fix.  I will definitely use them in the future and you should too---great company!

These guys were awesome, needed all new smoke detectors installed and they got right to it!  Reasonably priced, honest and dependable.

I will exclusively use Avery electrical only moving forward.

This review is for the team at Avery Electrical Services including Travis. The short summary is I am very, very happy with the service I received and will use them again should the need arise. Recommended!

Longer version is that I needed to have all the smoke detectors in my home replaced and have some smoke /carbon monoxide detectors added to the existing system as well. The response time to my service request was prompt, and Travis was able to answer all my questions and concerns. Further one of the detectors was located at a height of 20 feet and they were able to manage the installation of that unit as well.

After they installation was complete, they tested all the units to ensure they were functioning properly and walked me through the basics.

And, while they were out, I had them take care of two faulty GFCI outlets, which they were able to accommodate in spite of it being a last minute, on site request.

In summary, great service, great response time, they were able to schedule me with a specific time window ( which they met), and very patient with all my questions. Very professional, friendly and polite.

Recommend and would use them again!

SUPER happy with the service provided by Travis! Our power went out today, and from the time I called to having it fixed was less than three hours. Very responsive business and excellent service!

We needed to have a plug installed in our garage for our new electric car. I called Avery, and Travis came out right away and looked everything over.
With our panel full, it looked like this was going to
turn into a really long, expensive job.

However, Travis and his team were able to find a way to switch some breakers, and make it all work out!

His team was here and gone in about an hour, and everything looks great and works exactly as expected!

Forgot to write a review on Yelp for this company a couple months back.  They managed to squeeze me in with a busy schedule to swap out some smoke detectors that required rewiring.  Quick, friendly and reasonably-priced.  Great combination.

Within a few minutes on a Saturday evening, Travis responded to my initial inquiry. We texted back and forth about our issue and was over at the house within an hour or so. He quickly diagnosed and replaced a bad breaker in the main box. Great service, great price...,we will be sending many referrals!

Not only did they respond to my request (unlike a lot of electrical companies I've tried to contact), Travis actually responded the same day. I set up an appointment, and electricians came to my house on time and were able to do the work quickly and efficiently.

Alex and Mike came out. Worked systematically. Diagnosed the problem and solved it speedily. Also, very pleasant people.

Wow! I cannot say enough great things about Avery Electrical! They were super responsive and helpful. We had an outlet not working in the house and our dishwasher was not working. It turns out that the dishwasher was a switch I didn't know about and instead of making me feel bad about it, the tech just helped explain the why behind it and that it is something to look for in newer homes. As a women, it is nice to not be talked down to when it comes to this stuff.
They helped replace a faulty breaker and gave me the heads up on some builder issues with the labels in the breaker box to follow-up on.
All of this and the best part, I called on Tuesday and they were here Wednesday morning. After no dryer for a month, I was a very happy camper!
Certainly everything was top notch and I would not hesitate to call again for any electrical issues.

Travis was one of the first electricians to message me regarding my problem.  He actually gave me a potential solution without even coming out to see what the problem truly was.  He gave me a fair estimate to replace 4 breakers that he new to be defective.  Once I decided to hire him, he was able to come out the next day.  He communicates well and came exactly when he said he would arrive.  I highly recommend him and his company.

My smoke detectors were at end of life. I contacted a few electricians to get a quote for installing new smoke detectors. Travis got back to me right away and scheduled me in for a few days later. He showed up on time, quickly got to work, tested the newly installed smoke detectors. My neighbor was having the same issue and he took the time out to go to her house to replace her smoke detectors. Very nice and professional! Hoping to get a fast charger installed soon by him. 10/10 recommend!!!

We recently had work done by Avery Electrical Services. First, let me tell you that I reached out to 5 different companies and no one got back to me even weeks later. We asked for recommendations for an electrician in our neighborhood Facebook group and somebody recommended Travis Avery. I called Travis and left a voicemail about what I wanted to be done.

1. Install several electrical outlets on our back deck as well as an outlet for our pool pump.
2. Troubleshoot 2 faulty breakers in the house

Travis returned my call within that hour and said he could swing by the house to give me an estimate. Travis showed up on time and took his time to understand what we were asking. He even recommended adding an extra outlet for my pellet grill as it would not be that much more since they were already going to be pulling cable. After we decided everything, we wanted in our project Travis said he would send me over a quote and we will go from there. He texted me later on in the day to let me know that I should have received the quote. We reviewed the quote and paid half for the project upfront. He later contacted me asking if a certain day would work for me. I agreed to that day and he sent out Alex and Paul. They worked a good part of the day on our project and finished everything in the backyard. Everything looked great and it feels and looks so much better now that we don't have a billion extension cords all over the place powering our devices. They weren't able to get to the faulty breakers but Travis assured me that they would be back the next morning to look at them. The next morning Alex and Paul came back and went above and beyond troubleshooting this issue. They were able to figure out the issue now my breaker does not trip when I power up my devices (Computer and a few lights).

I would like to point out the customer service when it comes to Travis and his guys. We've recently done a lot of renovations to our house and worked with a lot of different vendors. The one thing I found is good customer service and communication are extremely hard to find. I worked with vendors that I felt were flat-out ignoring me and didn't care about my project. Travis is one of the best in communications that I found. He is extremely responsive and he and his crew and very nice and easy to talk to. They always explained things so I could understand them and would answer all the questions that I had for them.

If you are looking for an electrician and a great vendor/contractor, you need to give Travis a call. It was a pleasure working with Avery Electrical Services. When I need more electrical services, I will be reaching out to him without a doubt.

I bought an electric car on a whim and realized very quickly that we'd want a Level 2 charger installed so we could recharge overnight. In my ignorance I didn't realize how hard it can be to find a charger in stock and how expensive it would be to have the correct outlet installed. I sent dozens of inquiries on Yelp and Travis responded to my inquiry quickly and provided a competitive quote.

Today they came to install the outlet and let me just say these guys went above and beyond. I appreciate the quality of work and how kind they were. They really deserve their five stars and I'll be sure to reach out the next time I need any electrical work done. Thanks for the great work!

Great service, would not hesitate to use these services again. They were prompt called me before arriving. Found and fixed problem. Explained repair and cleaned up.

I wouldn't bother contacting them.  They told me directly they don't have time for next several weeks to come do a site visit of provide a quote.

We had a pretty simple fix we needed. They showed up on time, we're very polite, and got the job done with no trouble.

We used Avery Electrical Services to replace an old light fixture in our home. They were awesome. Wow! They squeezed me into their busy schedule. Called them on Friday, came to my house on Monday. The guys were very professional, got the work done quick and the pricing was very very reasonable. If you need any electrical work done, these are the guys to call. A+ !

We had a plug that was out in our master bedroom next to our bedroom and I was worried about it since there was some DIY electrical from some lights a previous owner installed. They had a cancellation so they were able to come out within a few hours, diagnose the problem, educate me on what it was, and quickly resolve. Travis is very professional,  gave me a quote the day after I sent pictures of the fixtures to be replaced. Set up an appointment, arrived on that date and completed the work promptly.

I called Avery Electrical Services to address a problem I was having with tripping breakers. Travis and Alex arrived on time, went straight to work and, inside of an hour, replaced eight circuit breakers and installed whole house surge protection. They didn't make a mess, the price was reasonable, and when they left everything worked properly. A month later, everything is still working. What more can I ask? In the future, would I call them again? Of course I would!

Quick response and great communication!

Our a/c went out at 10 PM last night, and our a/c tech informed us it was the breaker, not the compressor. I called a couple of electricians that were highly-rated on Yelp but had to leave messages because it was so late on a Friday night.

Then I realized that Avery is located in Leander, which is hyper-local to me, so I called them. Although the call went to voice mail, Mr. Avery called me back before I could leave a message. He said that he didn't have a way to acquire the part until morning, but he worked us in between jobs and had the a/c back up and running before the heat set in for the day.

They were speedy, competent, and charged a very reasonable rate for a weekend rush job! Will use them again!

Travis and his crew were top notch, came in and efficiently got to work diagnosing and replacing GFCI's and resealing an outdoor outlet. Friendly and outgoing. Would definitely reach out to them for any future work.

I contacted Travis and left a message late in the afternoon and got a response very quickly. He was able to schedule a visit early next morning and have the issue fixed right away.

I am super pleased with my experience with Avery Electrical.  I called Travis early Tuesday morning and left a message - my A/C had a power surged and burned up some of the wiring and the cutoff switch needed to be replaced and re-wired.  By that afternoon he was here, the work was done, and everything was hooked back up.  I had a quote from an A/C company to do the same repair and they wanted $150 more than what Travis charged me.  I'm very, very pleased.
