Our experience with Efficient has been nothing short of a disaster.

Efficient installed a new HVAC system for us. One year later, our ceiling collapsed from a leak caused by Efficient's workers. Efficient wouldn't pay to have the ceiling and mold repaired, so reluctantly, we had to use our homeowners insurance even though it is their fault.

Now, another year later, the AC unit leaked and ruined the ceiling again and we have to try to get Efficient to pay for the repair. What a headache, not to mention the time spent, mold, etc.

Take your honest business somewhere else.

I used Nick again on my kitchen canned lighting project.  He did an awesome job and taught me so much.  The kitchen looks great and I look forward to doing more work on our house with you.

Danny is a fantastic handyman. He's replaced an old window in our house and an under-the-sink food-waste disposer -- and has also installed a difficult shower-curtain set-up. He can do jobs big and small, and is totally thoughtful about them. His prices are reasonable and he's a genuinely friendly person.

We would like to recommend Mr. Wade Hudson, owner of Tejas Electric without reservation. As we always do when we need to hire any contractor to do an involved job, we interviewed around 7 electricians. Without exception, as soon as they hear the details of the job, every one of them tried to make the job bigger and more complex than it really needed to be. Some made sure to discuss the price of parts (we needed copper wire, conduits, disconnect boxes) and supplies, others made installation suggestions that did not make any sense, etc. Wade was the only one with realistic and straight proposals. The job was to bring 220/240V power outlets to 6 different locations around the outside of the house so we can have an HVAC contractor install ductless mini-splits. Our idea was to use the power already there for the two central units on each side of the house and the power from their air handlers inside the house since they were going to be disabled and replaced by the mini-splits. Wade agreed that it was the best and easiest option for the job. After his visit, he promptly sent us a realistic quote with a detailed description of the work to be done as we described it. We had to work around his schedule and blocked out two days the coming weeks. Wade and his electrician showed up on time both days. The job had a couple of difficult steps and Wade found elegant solutions to solve the problems without complaints. The job was done to spec, to code and on time. Tejas Electric has been in business in Dripping Springs and surrounding areas for 24 years and it is easy to see why they are busy. They are knowledgeable, honest and reasonable. Wade and Co. will be our go-to electrician from now on. Thank you, Wade.

Leslie did a fantastic job with our recessed lighting project. He was so patient while working with us to get all the precise locations where we wanted our lights. The light install is simply amazing and our living room is so much brighter now. Will definitely recommend him for any electrical projects that you might have.

While replacing burnt-out lightbulbs in the bedroom closet last week, the entire light fixture on the boob light came loose, and something must've gotten disconnected because it stopped working. I have a healthy fear of electricity, and I didn't want to connect the wrong wire to the wrong thing and burn the house down, so I called Austin Electric Service.

My appointment was set for 10 this morning, but Billy called to say he'd finished his previous job and could come over a little early if it was convenient. It was, and he arrived shortly after.

Billy is professional and courteous and had the closet light working in no time--only charging for the service call. He also gave me an estimate for some motion sensor lights for the front of the house and some tips on replacing the bulbs on a floodlight in the back. (Who knew that handing halogen bulbs with your hands reduces how long the bulbs last? I didn't, but now I do.)

Since purchasing my home earlier this year, I've needed a variety of services performed, ranging from plumbing work to electrical. As anyone who's owned a home before knows, finding a good servicing company isn't always easy and can sometimes take a few trials and tribulations. Sometimes though you get lucky and you stumble across a gem right off the bat. In my case, the gem was Molitor Electric. So far, Dan with Molitor has upgraded both house electrical panels, installed a few standard electrical outlets and even ran the wiring and installed two high powered outlets for two vehicle charging stations. At one point during his installation of the electrical panels I asked about the durability and quality of the panels with regards to overall cost. Dan responded by saying that he only used the best of the best for his customers and even though it might mean a high upfront cost, at the end of the install I would have the best panels on the market. As someone who grew up with a father who ran his own construction business for over 20 years with the ideology of perfection and quality of work, this mentality holds a lot of deep meaning and value to me. Dan's work is immaculate, detailed and professional. In the case of using an electrician, what you pay for is what you get. If you want professional, quality work don't waste your time trying different electricians. Just use Molitor.

Aztec Electric is an Austin family based company.  They have been here a long long time.  They have seen Austin grow and has been working to improve the quality of home owners and business owners with their electrical issues.  Aztec Electric has fair pricing and great quality of work.   I highly recommend them if you need any electrical serves done.

I had a great experience through out my projects with Justin and his crew. Justin was always responsive, showed up when he said they would, and was open to any changes that I had. This was very refreshing as most contractors I've dealt with have not been responsive and just randomly show up. I highly recommend Justin and his crew to anyone needing electrical work. The crew did great work for me and were a pleasure to work with. I'll definitely use Goat Electric again when I need more electrical work.

GG Electric recently did some field work for us on an unusual project: fixing an electrical horse fence.  JP and Garrett came out and got muddy and dirty and got in there with the horses and fixed the fence in splendid time!!  This job was super-important to us as it's our horses' safety we're talking about and they were professional, extremely well-priced, and fast.  I highly recommend this company for unusual jobs and those more routine!

A truly professional company. Excellent service, quick, thoughtful and responsible. Silver Electric reimbursed me for a blown septic pump due to mis-wiring during the solar installation. It's rare to find a company who will step up and make things right - with a smile. I'd hire this company again in a heartbeat!
