My experience with Pro Install Services has been very positive. Pro Install Services replaced 3 toilets and installed a vanity top in my home.
First off, in our current Covid situation Ryan always respected my health by constantly wearing a mask while in my home. Also he did an excellent job in explaining to me the scope of the work being done; he kept me in the loop on any issues (which there were a couple) that occurred and made the necessary adjustments in an expedient professional manner. He made aware of all pricing for each job prior to any work being done.
Lastly the work was done in a neat, quick, and professional manner. Without hesitation, I would strongly recommend Pro Install Services for home installation and remediation work!

We contracted with Adam Mechanical to install a high-velocity AC system in our 3-story Dutch colonial home. After spending a miserable first summer there last year with no AC, we decided to call up Adam Mechanical as they came highly recommended by people we know and have excellent reviews. Our house was built in 1923 and has radiant heat, so there was no existing duct-work. Perry visited our home and determined that high-velocity would be the best option for us, walked us through where the air handler, unit, and ducts/vents would likely be installed (he explained that there could be some slight modifications to this as the team got in and found other solutions that would be more efficient) and formulated a quote and scope of work for us. We felt that the quote was reasonable, and liked that they were able to start the following week and would only need 4 days.
Perry, as well as the team who did the work, were all very professional, arriving on time each day, and made a point to keep our home clean by using floor protectors and shoe covers. The work took 4.5 days, so very close to the quoted 4 days, and they were done by midday on day 5. The air handler was installed in the unfinished part of our 3rd floor (attic space); we explained that we would like to finish this area someday, so they were able to keep the air handler and tubing around the perimeter so we will still have this option. The majority of the duct tubes were able to be run through our closets (they are small and really don't take up closet space) with only one area of tubes being visible in our guest room (will be easy to cover with a soffit though). AM's attention to detail & aesthetic was great; along with keeping the duct tubes hidden in closets for the most part, the tube that runs from the attic air handler to the outdoor unit was nicely covered and made to resemble a gutter.
We've only had to turn on our air once so far this year, but it seems to be functioning as expected and cooled down our house in a short time. I would definitely recommend AM to anyone in the area who is looking to install AC, especially in an old home!

We had a backup in our sewer line, and another plumbing company was pushing us to replace our whole line, which would have cost lots of money and torn up our whole yard. We got referred to PS, and Don came over. He had his guys video the line, and they found that while the line needed to be cleaned out, it was intact and didn't need to be replaced. He recommended that we install a cleanout and do a thorough cleaning of the line. We went ahead, and we also decided to ask him to change out some old leaky plumbing. They did all of the work, at the price advertised, didn't try to upsell or nickel and dime us on minor things. Don, as well as the crew that came over with him, were all very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I strongly recommend this company for any work you need done.

The most important things to me when selecting a service provider are that I have confidence in their expertise and that I have complete trust in their recommendation about what needs to be done. I don't want to be wondering whether they are, for example, telling me I need a new water heater or HVAC system when in truth the existing one can easily be repaired for a much lower charge. Veteran Plumbing and Heating is that company. They won't sell you something you don't need, and they have the expertise to get it done right the first time. They are also Veteran owned and operated, and I like to support our brave soldiers who put their lives on the line for us. Chris Tucker was the technician I dealt with, and he was extremely knowledgeable, patiently explained how my HVAC system worked, did not talk down to me as a woman, arrived on time, and was respectful of my home (wore paper booties over his shoes). I now have a new HVAC and plumbing person, and could not be happier.

I've used Russell Brothers for several years, but this year in getting my home ready to sell, there was an extremely difficult problem with a main drain. Dennis spent hours assessing my situation (the others I'd contacted for pricing had not), and he came up with a solution that worked perfectly. He and Bob Meulenberg and all the other workers who were here for the weeks it took to complete were conscientious, clean, and kind; my job was priority and they were here every day until it was completed. Everything is working properly, and I have a brand new bathroom, and they were able to save my beautiful fireplace. I highly recommend them.

This company is the epitome of great customer service. Being a landlord located out of state, I received an emergency phone call on a Saturday from my tenant on a leaking water heater. After calling and speaking with Dave, they had someone over the same day five hours later to diagnose the issue. Turned out the water heater needed to get replaced. We agreed to have the water heater replaced on Monday and based on the feedback from my tenant, these guys got the job done and were very professional throughout the process, even fixed a faulty water faucet free of charge! I cannot thank them enough for resolving an emergency and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality, professional company to install/repair water heaters!!!

I noticed that Queens B is a fairly new company so I gave them a call when my AC broke down on 100º plus day. They arrived within a couple of hours! And fixed the problem. The guys were courteous, friendly and very professional. They lost one star with me for doing the repair without a review and approval. I appreciated that the problem was fixed but in my opinion, a company should get approval before performing the work. I will call Queen B again but next time will make clear my expectations.

I have NEVER hired anyone to do any work without seeing good reviews from at least two different sources. Until today, out of desperation, when I called this company and Eric (bless him) was able to come the same day to install a dishwasher that the scheduled installer left sitting in the middle of my kitchen (a rant for another day). My 150-yr old home has been in a state of renovation for 10 years so I've had more service people than I can remember. I tend to stick with good people when I find them because it takes up lots of time doing research first.
Eric told me when he could come, called 30 minutes out and showed up on time. He and helper introduced themselves, worked quickly and efficiently, and I paid a fair price (a little less than the price of the installer who didn't do the job and slightly more than the Amazon installation that I couldn't get scheduled soon enough). He gives a warranty for his work, communicates well and is pleasant and professional. My only suggestion (tiny complaint) is that it took over an hour to get an unexpected part. I realize that the small guys can't always have a well-stocked truck like bigger businesses, but I wonder if paying slightly more for small parts at the local hardware store might be worth it given how much a business owner's time is worth? Just a thought. Overall, I highly recommend them. I'm happy to support a new small businessman in my neighborhood!

Had a problem with an exhaust joint on our water heater. During his visit, Mike pointed out some corrosion and leakage we should keep our eye on. After talking it over, we decided to replace the water heater completely. Mike was able to do the job THAT DAY, and had us taken care of in under
3 1/2 hours. Masked the entire time, Mike worked quietly and professionally, went over the operation of the heater with me, and alerted me to the rebate offered by PECO for the model we bought. We've relied on County Line Plumbing and Heating for over ten years with no disappointments. Highly recommend.

I've hired plumbers in the past that have ripped me off - but Anthony Sweeney Plumbing is everything you would hope to find in a plumber - honest, good work and fairly priced. I had them out to do a faucet installation in my kitchen (which I bought at a large box store), and also handled some small plumbing repairs on our master bedroom bath, both of the faucets and the shower. Less than $200 for the whole job. Also got some advice on doing some of my own small repairs / maintenance stuff (DON'T DO IT!!!)... nah, really some good hints! I'm having them out again soon, to install a gas line to our new gas range, and hook up a new dishwasher.
Good people. Call them if you live in eastern Montgomery county.

Dan was one of a few plumbers I contacted for quotes to have gas valves installed for the dryer, stove, and to replace the connection to the hose out in front of my parent's home. He came out quickly to assess the work, provided me with an estimate via email, and we scheduled quickly. On the day of service he was on time and I was pleased with his professionalism, the work he completed, and his patience answering the 1000 questions I had for him. I have no complaints.

I've had a bad experience with Bennett's Plumbing. I hired Richie Bennett to do a digging job in order to run a drain line from the street onto a lot which I own. I gave him a $1400 check which he cashed the same day. The work is not done. It was never started.
The job had a deadline. The contract states a completion date of May 25th 2011. It was imperitive that the job be completed before the city poured the new sidewalk. It is now a few weeks past the deadline. The sidewalks have been poured, therefore it is too late to do the work with out destroying the new cement.
I believe the plumber began with good intention but for whatever reason, the job was never done and Bennett has communicated nothing to me. I briefly spoke to his wife who said he intended to return my money. He does not return my phone calls and he still has not returned my money although he did know where to pick it up.
P.S. I found this business at 2207 E. Boston St., not at the address displayed on the yelp listing.

I contracted with Allied to air seal and install insulation in my attic. The sales rep who quoted the project was very helpful and worked through many questions for a complex project. However, after scheduling the install day, I was informed by the sales rep that they would no longer be completing the project due to it costing more money than they originally anticipated during an internal review.
This seemed very odd as we had a signed agreement and been planning this work for many months. They were scheduled to install in 3 days and I had already removed most of the existing insulation to remediate some issues that they identified. I requested that ownership reach out to better explain what was going on and confirm that they would not be doing the install. I asked to advise if there were any other options. Unfortunately no one reach out or followed up.
