It started with a a gas stove breakdown. Bought a new stove to replace it and found out we had no shut off for the gas connection behind the stove (code violation). Called JB Plumbing and Heating after a good friend's reference. Mark came out the following day and took a look at it. It turned out the problem was more severe that I expected. The builder that did my kitchen never took the time to do the job correctly and cut many corners creating numerous code violations that Mark fixed expertly. It was a real mess and he was very professional about it and took the time to do the job correctly, he was kind to my wife and even though it cost me hundreds, he and his helper did an awesome job. Do not hesitate to cal him, he definitely knows his stuff. He went though drop ceilings with much debris to fix the code violations.
Thank You Mark, you have a customer for life.

Andy came out within two hours of my call and did a fabulous job clearing the drain and explained every thing honestly and sincerely. It looks like I've found a competent and honest plumbing service.

Agree with all the great reviews of Brandon here. He's very responsive and easy to coordinate with via texts and calls. Both times he came for an appointment, he texted updates on his ETA and was always on time or even early. He replaced an old toilet really quickly and we've been really happy with it since. Will definitely be calling him back for more plumbing work and general house jobs.

Response (via Yelp) to my request for a plumber was answered only by a phone number. OK, so I called but I could barely hear him over a crackly cell. I was frustrated that he obviously hadn't read what I had bothered to write to him -- he wanted the whole picture repeated over the phone. Maybe the new poorly educated, semi-literate businessman of the new century? He should be ashamed! He's definitely no boss!

This company responded to my request on the same day I called. Billy and Richy arrived on time and introduced themselves. I received a fair price quote to repair a leak under my kitchen sink. The leak was fixed, and Information was given how it happened and how to prevent future issues.
They were both polite and professional. This is a company I would definitely hire again.

I have an unresponsive landlord so there wasn't much I could do as far as repairs go but Xavier and Anthony were fantastic and understood and worked within my means to at least get me to function. So grateful for that!

Our sink overflowed on Saturday night. I got a quick response and service provided the next day. He was very accommodating with the time, punctual and professional. He explained was caused the issue and gave us some tips to prevent the issue from reoccurring. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome times a million. My supply line to my toilet burst at 1am this morning - shooting insane water around the bathroom, leaking into my living room, and overflowing the basement stack. I called Goodman, and within a half hour, I had a very smart professional on the phone, explaining to me what I was seeing, what to look for, how to stem the tide, and what I might expect. He actually took the time (on the phone, without hiring him yet), to assess the problem. They were backed up with calls, and assured me it would be ok for a few hours. (it was!) I called back at 7am, talked to the same man, who was at my door in an hour. Along with another amazing pro, they showed me the problem- explained how the water was moving, answered my many questions, helped me chill, affordably fixed the line, examined the damage and gave great guidance. Calm in a storm, reasonably priced, and pretty much exactly what you need in a crisis. I wish I caught their names. GREAT GREAT service!!!

We needed help with our shower plumbing on a Saturday afternoon and could not find a plumber that was available. However, Mike answered his phone right away and was able to come over. He only works until 4pm on Saturdays but stayed at our house helping us until at least 5pm. My boyfriend loves to learn all things home reno related, so mike took the time to show him the problem and teach him how to fix it. His prices were great and he was very honest and helpful. Would DEFINITELY recommend!

Needed to replace a complicated hot water heater setup. Responded quickly and clearly communicated prices, whereabouts and plan for replacement. Job took two days as my chimney was not up to code and both days received a call before the techs left and arrived on time. Jim was a pleasure to work with and exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be returning to them for future work.

Initially had a booked appointment with another contractor thru Home Advisor/Angi but he never showed up. So I went to Yelp and started a frenzied search here because it was after 3pm on a Saturday and I really didn't want to have to wait until Monday to get a new hot water heater.
Several plumbers responded but Luan was not only one of the first but immediately offered a quote and immediate availability. I texted him my address and some photos. Luan and Kapo were at my house by 5pm new water heater in tow. Flawless process, reasonable price (1,200 for new unit, installation and removal of old unit) and I was able to pay through Venmo. Kapo actually pointed out some other pipes that will eventually need replacement and I would be more than happy to use them again.

I cannot recommend Chris Williams enough. Chris has done many jobs for our family in both our previous home and our new home. He installed an entire master bathroom addition for us as well as other smaller jobs and repairs. Most recently Chris has helped us during a water main clog right before the holidays when we had family visiting and we're in a major pinch! If we had not hired him for the job, we would very likely have ended up with waste water overflowing in our first floor kitchen and bathroom on Christmas Eve!
He has gone above and beyond in many ways - from being available via text and cell at late hours, to taking the time to fully explain in layman's terms the details of every job he has done. He lets you know why he recommends the solution he is proposing as well as gives you options. He clearly thinks through each situation with care and does what is best for the homeowner. He and his team have always been courteous and kind, and on top of it all, his prices are very fair and reasonable. If prefer to work with someone you can trust and feel comfortable with, go with Chris!

We're about two months late on this review, but better late than never.
These guys were great. We took advantage of their free estimate, so they didn't get paid for their visit to us, but they were super competent, incredibly helpful (giving us some suggestions that saved us a bundle), funny, and just a pleasure to deal with (they even sang us an Italian song). Would highly recommend.
