The number of reviews and the reviews themselves don't lie. Mark, the owner, gave us a thorough estimate for all the items that had come up during our house inspection. While we were waiting to compare other quotes, we had a few small emergencies at our old house, and Mark was able to send a team quickly to handle those before our deadline. He was great with communication- over email, phone and text, and accepts Venmo or check. We're very happy with the service and will use JB plumbing again when we're ready to take on our 'wants' list instead of our 'needs' list. They're not the cheapest, but if you want thorough work that you can count on, you can't go wrong with these guys!

Manuel and Daniel got my tough clogging issue resolved within an hour. They were polite and professional and took care of a very difficult issue. They even drove further than they normally do to get the job done. Great prices and service. I would highly recommend.

I called A-1 for a water leak issue I had with my rental property. I only had a short window to have it fixed between switching over tenants. Brandon picked up right away and had someone over to address it WITHIN THE HOUR. Very knowledgeable, quick to respond and honest work.

Aqua Plumbing & Heating did a great job at my house getting a fairly complicated drain issue fixed. They communicated really well, answering my questions, helping me figure out how to get the most out of the job, indicating how they would approach the work and what possible issues could be discovered in the course of the work. One of these turned out to happen, and the adjustment to their proposal was completely reasonable. They carefully inspected everything before making their proposal, which was detailed and clear. Everything was done on the schedule they indicated. I feel like they provided an excellent value, and it was a pleasure to work with them. They even managed to do some while we're working in this area extra work that I had asked them about (installing an additional radiator) that boosted the value of the work even more, adding value to my home. Excellent on every front. A fairly rare level of quality, service and value.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. The guys just finished. Respectful, knowledgeable and clean. With my sink out of commission during the holiday, John reached out within minutes of posting on Yelp. An hour from that these guys showed up. Not over priced at all. So happy to know there are true service providers that get the job done without killing you with an astronomical bill.  Super pleased and will keep them in speed dial (showing my age lol)  for this old house will probably need them again. Only bad thing now I have to resume cooking. Lol thank you for everything!

We had an issue with a clog, Kit came out had it taken care of within a half hour, cleaned up and was very courteous throughout. The job was more involved than expected but he was very professional and the price was very reasonable.

Extremely happy with their service and I would definitely recommend them. I requested service through their website for my malfunctioning garbage disposal and broken toilet lever. Someone emailed me less than 90 seconds later and we were able to schedule an appointment quickly that fit in my schedule. They said someone would come between 10am-2pm and they would call beforehand. Chris called at 9:49am and was here just after 10am. Perfect! He knew what he was doing and was able to fix both issues in less than an hour. Chris was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was very considerate and even offered to take off his shoes since it was rainy and gross out. It was a huge bonus for me that I didn't have to wait around until 2pm(or later) and was quickly able to move on with my day. I would absolutely contact them again if I have any other plumbing issues!

Highly recommended!  I needed a plumber to fix something I tried doing myself (water supply line for an ice maker) but I screwed it up and needed a pro.  In the meantime a bucket was catching the drips.

Earlier in the day I had a plumber come from one of the bigger companies whose trucks I have seen in our area for years, come give an estimate.  He took a look, said he had to go call the boss, then came back with an absurdly high estimate.

Using Yelp I found Rick Lucas plumbing locally and called.  Rick answered the call, said he could be there within 1-2 hours, would call first.  He called back as promised and arrived shortly thereafter.

Rick took a look at what was needed.  He also determined that some additional copper piping adjacent to what I messed up needed to be repaired as it was corroded, and verbally gave me a price.

Rick not only replaced all the necessary piping including the additional areas that he recommended, he also added the necessary fittings and connections and shutoff valve and flexible steel supply hose and completed the connection to our new refrigerator.  Rick worked non-stop, and is professional, courteous and friendly, and cleaned up afterwards.

Best of all his price was 33% less than the first place that came.  (Plus I returned the parts I previously bought to Home Depot and Lowes so saved even more).

I am very pleased that I had Rick Lucas Plumbing do this job at our home, and wouldn't hesitate to call him the next time I need a plumber.

We hired Mike to replace a toilet and sink in our half bath. His quote was competitive, and we really appreciated that he took the time to recommend new fixtures that would work well for our bathroom -- fixtures which were reasonable in price and easy to find at Lowes. He was able to do the work in our tight timeline, cleaned up after himself and was friendly and respectful while in our home. A few days after install, we noticed a slight leak in the new toilet which turned out to be a manufacturing defect. Mike was at our house ten minutes after we called him about it, and went out of his way to fix the issue even though it was in no way his fault. We are so glad to have found Miller Plumbing and will use this company for all our future plumbIng needs. Can't recommend Mike highly enough.

John made a repair to my house heater, which solved  the problem..  However, 4 days later  PGW came to house in response to my call to them of gas leak.  PGW shut off gas to  heater.  It  couldn't be used due to gas leak.  Called John 4 times to ask him to return and see what was wrong.  He never returned phone calls.     Called another plumber and  I bought a new heater and it was installed the next day.  Never did hear from John.  That could have been a nice sale for you John but you were a no show   Jan 18, 2017

We just bought our house and had water back up into the house from the sewer system. We were stressed because we hadn't even been in the house a month. I found Valdel plumbing on  Angj's list. We couldn't be happier with them. They were very nice, knowledgeable and professional. They needed to dig a path in the front yard and replace the piping due to root intrusion. They did the job quickly and put all the dirt back. We will recommend them to anyone that needs any plumbing needs.

Didn't call them first, the first call would not show up. It was late, they came out they took care of it till it was done. I was very happy with their service.

Garbage disposal unit conked out. I bought one from myself but would rather a pro install it as unit I purchased needed minor electrical. I put a request for a quote out on Yelp, Luan responded almost immediately and was at my door within a couple of hours, on a weekend. It took him about an hour, cleaned up the scene and made sure to remind me about to register the unit's warranty. Pricing was very reasonable. I didn't have a go-to plumber before, I do now.

The price given made no sense for the proposed work. He could have just said he didn't want the job instead of insulting me. Women and novices get a second quote.

I worked with these guys two years ago and they came in and looked at the leak in my kitchen and said I needed a waste and trap. I paid them $145 to do it. Two years later, I have another leak and they say I need a waste and trap and charges me $145 again; this was after it took forever forever to actually respond to a call or message. Come to find out, I actually needed a lot more work than this and my piping was not properly installed with the house when I bought it. I was also told that the water leakage could be coming from the rusting on my tub and when we discussed the problem, one of the guys said that he didn't tell me this. Seriously? I had to practically beg to get a quote written out on paper from these guys. They then tried to get me to go through a public adjuster and had the nerve to tell me that I had trust issues. Well it pretty hard to trust folks in Philly when everyone tries to screw you over or not to quality work. These guys seemed to be more concerned with doing a quick job then actually fixing my leak for the long term. Eventually I went with another plumber who got the job done.

Kevin H. came out to fix our kitchen sink drain within 45 mins of my initial call. He was courteous and fast, fixing all of our problems!! Not many companies do free estimates anymore it was great to see. Definitely recommend

Had such a great experience with Kevin and Vinko Plumbing. Had a leak in the line that supplies water to my fridge, causing flooding and obvious anxiety! I called Kevin and he was very quick to respond. Even offering same day appointment. I have had nightmare experiences with plumbers in the past, so Vinko was a breath of fresh air. He showed up in time and fixed the problem with ease. He explained everything to me and helped me understand how to avoid this from happening in the future. I absolutely recommend and will be using again!
