Plumbers get a bad rap, man.  They are stereotypically known as being unreliable, costly, and having their butt cracks hanging out in the middle of your kitchen.  Luckily for me, Mark at JB Plumbing was none of these things.  

While getting our house painted, the line that brings water to the icemaker in the freezer broke.  The painters did their best to fix it, but even I could see that the line was just plain old and needed to be fixed by an actual plumber.

After making half a dozen calls, I finally had someone to come out that afternoon.  Unfortunately, that guy blew us off so I called Mark at JB Plumbing.  We scheduled for him to come at 7 am the next morning.

Well, to my surprise and delight, Mark and his assistant came not at 7 am but at 655 am!  He was in and out quickly, I had water back in my house, and I found a new go-to plumber.  I'm not going to lie- getting that itty bitty water line fixed wasn't cheap, but I think the price was fair and is what I would have paid anyone else for the job.

Like other Yelpers have said, you never want to need a plumber, but I'm glad I have someone reliable to use in the future.

Incredible people and company. my moms front drain was clogged. Called many plumbers and they wanted a lot of money and couldn't come out til the next day. They came out on a Sunday and was very reasonable. Thanks guys got me brownie points over my sister also. Lol ty!!

Top notch customer service right here!  I had a leak spring up on my main pipe feeding the entire house.  Called this company and Brandon had asked to send pictures so he could estimate a quote.  At this point, I had two other quotes who were priced very high.  Brandon came back extremely reasonable, but wasn't able to get out to my house until after the weekend, on Monday.  I explained I had that it was an emergency and I am not sure I could wait that long.  When he heard me say that I shut off the water to the entire house, he said he'll call right back, and next thing I know, a guy (Eric) was on his way.  Couldn't be more happier with that right there.

Eric came on by, took a quick look, ran out and guy a couple of parts.  He fixed the issue within 10 minutes.  Extremely professional, quick, and explained everything to me of what he did.  

This is the first time I used this company, but certainly not the last.  Do yourself a favor.  If you're reading this review, call them up and get an estimate.  That's the least you could do.

Warren is professional and knowledgeable. He did a full diagnosis on the leaking toilet and got to the root cause step by step. I would recommend him to other la who needs a responsible and responsive plumber.

price was fair, work was solid and i will be using aqua for everything plumbing related going forward. jimmy billy and trevor are all great guys.

unless you have a really tiny job better suited for a handyman, or you identify as a rude and capricious person... you should stop reading reviews and just call aqua.

We chose John Snyder because of all the positive review.  Unfortunately our experience was disappointing and annoying.  We asked him to replace an outside faucet.  we were told 2 workers would be there with all teh equipment needed and the cost would be $300.00.  one worker showed up and didn't have all the equipment needed to do the job and didn't know how to do the entire job and left saying he would be back.  He never came back and we then received an invoice for $700.00!!!  We STRONGLY recommend that you NOT use this vendor.

It's my second time using them. First time Kit fixed garbage disposal that I thought needed to be replaced at a fraction of the cost. That's when he earned my trust. This time I called for a faucet installation and I needed someone who know what he's doing. I was worried that gold finish  could be scratched during installation. It turned out even better then expected. Completely happy with service.

I literally cannot thank Goodman Plumbing and Nick H enough!! They are amazing, quick, kind, professional and know what they're doing! They are experts in all things plumbing! They fixed my shower in the snap of a finger and I really can't recommend and thank them enough. Especially considering it is the middle of a pandemic, I called them yesterday, and literally less than 24 hours later have a working shower again!

If you need a plumber call and request Nick because no one in the city is better!

My outside drain was clogged and backing up into my basement I called a bunch of companies no one came out or didn't have availability until the next day. Rick came out within 20 minutes of me calling and did a fantastic job. Definitely would recommend. He saved my basement from completely flooding

Super professional plumber. Very responsive and came over quickly. He actually quickly identified that he wasn't able to fix our issue and referred us to a colleague with special equipment (who is also responsive and prompt). He didn't even charge us for the call. I would hire Mr Miller again!

John made a repair to my house heater, which solved  the problem..  However, 4 days later  PGW came to house in response to my call to them of gas leak.  PGW shut off gas to  heater.  It  couldn't be used due to gas leak.  Called John 4 times to ask him to return and see what was wrong.  He never returned phone calls.     Called another plumber and  I bought a new heater and it was installed the next day.  Never did hear from John.  That could have been a nice sale for you John but you were a no show   Jan 18, 2017

A+ experience! I woke up at 11am (yeah, I slept in!) to find a leak in my basement, jumped on the HomeAdvisor app and within 5 minutes I was contacted by a nice lady to schedule, which was great because they had an opening same day! At 1pm I received a tex and email saying my tech was on his way. Tim showed up 2pm, figured out what the issue was and fixed it by 3pm! Tim was literally the best and most professional plumber I've ever had at my house.  He ever gave me a welcome packet! I'll definitely be using this company going forward - thanks Tim for doing a great job!

Great service so far. Called them out tonight on emergency hot water heater flood. Came out within an hour and it was after 9:30pm. Keith was awesome and explained everything to me. They will be out first thing tomorrow to replace and get us back up and running. Thank you Keith.

I had a great experience, the men came to assess my leaking drain pipe.  They gave me a reasonable quote.  They were able to complete the repair in less than 30 minutes.  I'm so happy the drain was fixed.  Thank you so much!

Chris the owner is very attentive and even goes on job sites for even the small jobs. I am so impressed.  He texted me after hours to get info to fix our plumbing issues.  The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.  Our regular technician is Ray and we love him. He is always on time and does an excellent job.  We have an older house so plumbing issues seem to creep up a bit.  I am really glad we found this guys.  They are our go to plumbers!

Stay away - they can't be trusted.  I took time off of work to get an estimate on 5 jobs in my house.  They canceled my appointment the first time because they ran too late on other jobs.  I was flexible, we rescheduled for the following week.  After the technician looked at the jobs, he said no problem - you'll receive an estimate in a few hours - we can knock everything out in a half day.  It's two weeks later and no estimate, no response from business even after I left a message.  And believe it or not, I'm a repeat customer!  My experience was similar to Patrick C who posted on 7/23/19.  I just read other posts - the owner seems to apologize A LOT after the fact.  If you run a business properly, you don't have to apologize so often.  The owner should probably retire or sell his business to someone who cares.

We had a clogged drain pipe outside and the rain was getting into our basement. After multiple plumbers said they couldn't handle that type of work, we got Mr. Rooter on the schedule ASAP. Lenny came first thing in the morning and completely fixed the issue. He said he's seen it all and assured me he could get the job done, and he did. Extremely reasonable prices compared to some of the other quotes we were given. Lenny rocks!

It's never good when you have a plumbing issue at 4pm on a Thursday. After calling a ton of folks and not hearing back from anyone and searching emergency plumbing Philly I stumbled upon Vinko plumbing and now have a new plumber in Kevin! He was very responsive, did the work thoroughly, walked me through what was wrong, what he could fix now, and what we should do later, and was an all around nice guy. Highly recommend him for your plumbing needs!
