We've hired JB Plumbing for three jobs over the past 6 months. Two were relatively small and one was quite large, involving permits and excavation. In all three cases, Mark and his crew handled everything from start to finish and were extremely reliable, so we didn't have anything to worry about. One of the best things was the Mark was easy to reach, by phone and text, throughout the preparations and the work, which gave me a lot of reassurance.

Andy came out within two hours of my call and did a fabulous job clearing the drain and explained every thing honestly and sincerely.    It looks like I've found a competent and honest plumbing service.

Awesome work. Made me a priority from the jump and really saved my wife and I as we are managing a budget on a new house. Highly reccomend

This business is unprofessional. First, he didn't even introduce himself when he responded to my quote or ask for my name. Then asked for pictures which I immediately sent and he gave me a price, prefect makes sense! Next, he asked for my address which I gave to him.. I assumed he was going to give me a time since I said I was available anytime. I asked when he was available; he said I was waiting for your call.. excuse me sir! Anyway maybe I shouldn't had given him my address because he never responded to my call - he requested or messages after that. I mean if the work wasn't worth his time that's all he had to say.

They are not thorough...they do not have appropriate equipment to do a proper job...added the cost of toilet seat removal which ended up being more than the cost of having them come out for the drain clean.
Added to all this, they did a shoddy job...I will NOT recommend them!

John and his crew are the very best!! John literally saved my house.  I did not know my pipes had corroded under ground. John was the only plumber who took out the toilet and looked underground with his camera ..and found the problem. I had to get extensive work done. John was very understanding of my situation and gave me a very fair price. He is an excellent compassionate human being and treats others the way we should all treat each other. I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable professional. Zach and Anthony are pros as well.  Courteous and prompt. John Snyder is my plumber for life! Call him!! See for yourself! Love this guy!!

We had an issue with a clog, Kit came out had it taken care of within a half hour, cleaned up and was very courteous throughout. The job was more involved than expected but he was very professional and the price was very reasonable.

Goodman Plumbing installed our new furnace and we couldn't be more happy give these guys a chance they have top notch customer service. Our home is 100 years old and was challenging to install our new high efficiency unit, they worked well over 10 hours into the evening to get this installed for us so we had heat for the night. No one could have determined the difficulties in store for them which lead them to make an emergency home depot run at 9p to get this done for us. The guys worked tirelessly from 9a-10p to finish the job. Two weeks after the install we were concerned about some tapping noise coming from the unit one of their guys came back out at 7p (a few short hours after we called) and took a look at this for us for no charge. It really put us at ease, we will continue to use Goodman going forward you should too!

Rick was outstanding!  Responsive, on time, and extremely professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it promptly!!  Highly recommend him!!!

I had Valdel replace four toilets and install a kitchen sink faucet.  The work was all done promptly and professionally, and we've had no issues ~6 months later.

However during removal of one of the old toilets, the plumbing technician dropped one of the old toilets down our stairs, causing some damage to our hardwood floored stairs and the marble tile in our entryway.

Valdel fully covered the costs for the necessary flooring repairs. They were helpful and responsive to work with during the process of selecting contractors and having the repairs done.

Accidents can always happen, so it is good to know when a company is willing to take responsibility and handle incidents in a professional manner.  I would be more than willing to work with Valdel again based on my experiences.

A pipe broke on Thursday (Thanksgiving).  Friday morning I entered a Yelp request for a quote from Bommer plumbing.  (Yelp site now says response is typically within 9 hours, although at the time I'd thought it was 4 hours).  Nothing back on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday in spite of their 24 hour service claim.  Early Monday morning I receive a message saying technician can't evaluate from picture and will need to come onsite to quote.  If you accept quote, $87 charge will be waived.  I can understanding wanting more info, but how about a call or request for more detail first, before charging $87 for an estimate?

Compare this to JB Plumbing, where the owner responded within 10 minutes of my request, happened to live nearby and came over to check out the situation (no charge) and then gave me options since he didn't have needed part in hand.  One of the options was to wait and see what other plumbers responded.  If no one was available, let him know and he'd send one of his techs from Phila on Saturday.  Long story short - go with JB and skip the M-F, no holiday support Bommer.

Maybe it was just an off time or they aren't set up to respond to yelp quickly, but they should say so in their listing.

I used them twice.
Both times they came to my home exactly when they said they would.
They were courteous and professional.
Their price was reasonable.
I Will use them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Had a leak in my mobile.  Called the office and the girl said she would get someone right out

A couple hours passed.  Nobody.  I called back and asked if someone was coming.  The girl asked if someone called, I said no and she said Guess not.

Nice.  I cant speak for craftsmanship or pricing, but if you need sonething right away go elsewhere.  Peoples lives are effected and that dont care attitude made me write this review.  Ironically, the fix was easy.

If I could give these guys 6 stars, I would. They were amazing. We got new granite counters and needed to reconnect our faucet and move the drainage pipe, reconnect the garbage disposer, etc. Bernie was very available and communicative, easy to work with. He coordinated with my schedule and showed up with Mike exactly as promised. They were efficient, did a great job, and very reasonably priced. Not only did they do great work, but they explained everything they did so I could do basic repairs myself if anything should go wrong in the future. I'd recommend them anytime!

Also - FYI, I know there are two not so great reviews on Yelp, but they have 21 reviews on Angie's List and are rated A, and have 22 Google reviews and get a 4.5.

Quick and efficient. Tyler and PJ are great guys and wonderful workers! I'd call again!

Had such a great experience with Kevin and Vinko Plumbing. Had a leak in the line that supplies water to my fridge, causing flooding and obvious anxiety! I called Kevin and he was very quick to respond. Even offering same day appointment. I have had nightmare experiences with plumbers in the past, so Vinko was a breath of fresh air. He showed up in time and fixed the problem with ease. He explained everything to me and helped me understand how to avoid this from happening in the future. I absolutely recommend and will be using again!
