We have used ALLIED since we purchase our home over 3 years ago because their information was on our HVAC system. On our first call we wanted them to take a look at the system and make sure everything was up to par and to let us know if anything needed attention. Allied sent us John Martin and he took the time not only to give us a detailed explanation about what kind of HVAC system we have but also to show me how it all worked. From the thermostat settings to the blower speed, to the heat_pump triggers, everything!. He checked all the connections and settings, told us what they were and asked if we wanted to change anything.   John was very patient listening and answering all my new-homeowner questions.

We have been using them since, and always try to request John Martin to service our HVAC. He is knowledgeable and doesn't mind been asked a ton of questions.

I will never recommend Allied Energy. I had a heating/ac system installed May 2014, approximately 6 1/2 years later I had to have the entire heating system replaced because the heating system was completely rusted and corroded. I sent a certified letter along with pictures to Lisa of Allied Customer Service with a follow up call and email. I never received a response. Do not use this company.

These are door-to-door creeps who target older households. Chased one off my property today and watched the twerp pass by several homes of younger people to cross the street to get to some other older homeowners in the neighborhood. Allied is no better than the gypsies who used to roll through wanting to trim your trees for $50 or fix the dents in your car. BEWARE!

I contracted with Allied to air seal and install insulation in my attic. The sales rep who quoted the project was very helpful and worked through many questions for a complex project. However, after scheduling the install day, I was informed by the sales rep that they would no longer be completing the project due to it costing more money than they originally anticipated during an internal review.

This seemed very odd as we had a signed agreement and been planning this work for many months.  They were scheduled to install in 3 days and I had already removed most of the existing insulation to remediate some issues that they identified.  I requested that ownership reach out to better explain what was going on and confirm that they would not be doing the install. I asked to advise if there were any other options. Unfortunately no one reach out or followed up.

I selected AlliedExperts based on the high number of their installation in my area of the Central NJ. I did read quite high number of negative reviews on them, their sales rep Nick G. did tell me bunch of lies I was highly suspicious of, but I sill clenched my teeth and hoped for the best.  How WRONG was!!??

Their workers on the day of the install arrived almost 2 hrs late, stating they had to pick up some supplies somewhere. It made me feel:  hmm, this is $15k project, the materials used here are about $2500 and they do not need even the full day to install everything, how wisely I am spending my money?

We should start pounding on NJ Clean Energy Program board and demand to weed our scammers like AlliedExperts.   Their Home Performance With ENERGY STAR program it's nothing but huge waste of resources. NJCEP doesn't even follow up and gathers data how effective their program might be! For sure it's a great idea, but any brilliant idea poorly executed remains a FAIL. My house energy data supports this. I have not noticed much of a difference after their install. The only difference noteworthy is, I am stuck with the $10k loan for the next 10 years.

AlliedEx used my current Nest thermostat and didn't bother to leave the intended one with me, can you on the next project, right?  They also took my well-functioning two year old water heater and trashed it without any warning. I had to spend over $600 to purchase a new one for my other location. Our contract nowhere included such a clause.

I am feeling scammed and taken advantage off.  I am concerned for others who may be future customers of Allied and will be similarly disappointed.

I have been having heating issues with my brand new system since the middle of December. I made my first call January 1st and since then I have gone through multiple visits, emails, phone calls. It is now February 3rd and I still do not have working heat throughout my home. Each time I call back, they act like it is my first calling and they look into scheduling me for a tech to take a look.

This week they had a visit scheduled and never showed or called. Stay away from this company, they are only interested in selling the install, but never following up on the warranty. I am going on 1 year with this new system, yet never had a chance to see the system operate properly. I now have to call another company to fix their mess and hope to have heat before winter is over.

Allied installed the heating unit in my house in 2015 and the blower motor failed about a month ago.  Luckily it had a 10 year warranty and the part was covered, but not labor.  Allied sent out a technician to fix it, but he could only install a temporary motor since they didn't have a OEM part in stock.  That was $129 for that service, not bad so far.  They called me back when the OEM part was in stock and ready for install and told me it would be an additional $179 for installation of the new part.  I refused to pay the additional cost, since I already paid them for the service the first time.  Very rude company to deal with, just get PSE&G worryfree and forget about using Allied Experts.

Allied is very efficient at selling and installing complete household systems (heating/AC, Water heater) The cost was excellent due to state-backed incentives and 0% 10 year loan as of 9/2017
HOWEVER: We have had 2 occasions to need service. No heat this winter, no AC during May 2018 heat wave. and e have never received a call back! The answering service is polite and professional, and is able to confirm techs are receiving our messages. No response! Unacceptable. My husband figured out the heat issue, but no response from company at all. At this time we have left 4 messages last night and today without response. They are great at selling. Terrible if you have a problem.

Avoid using allied at all costs.  The install at the beginning could be good but the system doesnt last at all.  Within 8 years, the evaporator coil had to be replaced two times already.  The evpaporator coil was replaced in may 2021 and it cost 1900 to repair (labor only).  Not only was it expensive for the repair, i waited over 4 weeks to get it repaired and they never return my calls to let me know status. The same repair 5 years ago was only 500 dollars.  I tried to get an itemized breakdown of 1900 but they dont return calls once they got my money.  The next time my unit breaks, i plan to replace the whole thing with someone else so i dont ever have to use them again.  I would give zero stars if i could.

I spent $15,000 replacing my entire HVAC systems ( furnace, compressor, Hot water) around October of last year. There were some issues with Nick the sales person, he said some things that didn't pan out.  We had scheduling issues too. After installation I waited a couple of months for the township approval. Nothing. I emailed them, said the holidays were near and would get back to me.  Nothing.
Emailed them again today June 2nd 2020, 8 months after installation, they said accountant office have been closed, they will look into it. Unbelievable!
They have zero customer service support.  Not a single call from them checking up on service.  I will never use them again.i spent

I had Mark from Allied come out yesterday for an estimate on a new central AC unit. He did come on time, however, after looking at my home and taking several pictures inside & out he left me very puzzled.  I own a mobile home and much to my surprise Mark informed me I have an attic!!! (Mobile homes DO NOT HAVE ATTICS)!!!  He told me my air vents should be on the floor and not the ceiling as the manufacturer designed it!! He called me today with an estimate that was out of this world!! I nicely told him to delete ALL the pictures of my home in his phone due to the fact I didn't ok this!! He tried to use his salesman pitch on me to no avail. I promptly hung up on him!! I wouldn't let this company work on a dog house let alone my home!!! Run, don't walk away from this company!!

Just to update you here are the images of the 50000 in damage Allied Energy Experts caused in our home from improper installation which caused catastrophic mold and ice damming-water pouring through our ceilings.  Seriously, this company has no business insulting anyone's home.  The furnace and air conditioner has been repaired numerous times and we have yet to pass any inspections...

I had a very pleasant experience with this company from the moment I called them to schedule a consultation. They were thorough and reliable, made sure I understood every board of the project and were aviailable and knowledgeable whenever I had questions. The workers that cake to do the work over the span of two days were friendly and thorough and even made sure to sweep up after themselves. I would definitely recommend Allied for your home's needs.

Please don't use this company. We bought our unit 6 years ago and it broke and they won't honor our 10 year warranty because we didn't buy a service contract so they voided the manufacturers warranty. Never heard of anything like this in my life. We have no heat going into the coldest part of winter.

The whole process has been a awful.  From the customer service to the installation to the follow up scheduling of Maintenance.  Not only would I not recommend this company but I would tell others thinking of using them to stay away.
Better customer service on the phones to properly checking equipment prior to installing.  After installation the company realized they put the wrong AC unit in and had to come out again to waste another one of my days. Then during inspection a gas pipe they moved had to be corrected which cost another 1/2 day.
Customer service is brutal.  Allied is supposed to take care of the permits and let you know when they are completed.  Not only did they not do this but I had to follow up with the town and confirm the permits were ready.  Town also informed me they were ready for 2 weeks and told allied.  Did I get a call no.  I asked the rep to follow up and she put me on hold to call the town and she mentioned they were not done.  Liars they are as I already had the permits.  I had to follow up at least a dozen time regarding permits.  Had install in May and didn't get permits until July.  During that time not once did they follow up with town to see where they were in the process.

I had a tankless water heater installed approximately 8 years ago. It broke 18 days ago. It took the company 5 days to come out (ok, we had a storm so they were understandably backed up). Then when they came out they stated I was still under warranty but that a part needed to be ordered (this was on a Monday). I called back on the Thursday requesting to know the status of the part. Never received a call back. I continued to call the following week and was told that the part was not in. I questioned why it would take so long for a part to come in and was told because of the pandemic. I continued to call throughout the week but would always get their answering service (even though I was calling during business hours) and was told someone would call me back, which they never did. Finally 3 days ago, this past Thursday, I asked to speak with a supervisor after I lost it on the phone with the answering service. Supervisor again told me the part had not been delivered yet. I then went off on her and miraculously the part arrived and she sent someone over that day to install. But then the technician realized that they were going to need to order two more parts after that part that I waited for 10 days to come didn't fix the problem. I called Friday morning asking to speak to a supervisor and was told someone would call me by the end of the day. That never happened. I called Friday at 330pm  to again request to speak to a supervisor and I did not receive a call back. Finally Saturday morning I called and did receive a call back from a technician who told me the part has not arrived but that it should be in by Monday. I am a RN who cares for people who are suffering from this awful virus. Not to mention also caring for those with other infections and I can't bath properly in my own home. I am disgusted with this company and would caution any one else from using them. I unfortunately can't use another plumber because this would cause my warranty to be void, so I am stuck with them.

SCAM ARTISTS!!       They come to your door and try to make you believe they are working with NJ State.   Telling you that the state is going to pay for EVERYTHING through energy rebates because they want you to be more energy efficient!  I am a rather skeptical person so I had a hard time believing that I was going to get a new A/C, Furnace,Insulation, water heater, etc without paying ANYTHING from my pocket.  I went as far as to say I am not going to pay ANYONE a DIME for ANYTHING because I can do all of this work myself!  The agent assured me that was the case!! Hmmmmmm, okay, I'll bite.   He made an appointment for another guy to come and explain the program, etc.  The Second guy went through about 10 minutes of his sales pitch and then said the government would pay up to $5000 for the project.  I said, You told me I would not be paying anything out of my pocket, how could all of this be done for only $5000?      He replied, Oh no, the project will cost $16,000 and the state will pay up to $5000. I asked who pays the other 11K?  He said, you can pay it off monthly with no interest!!!   AHHHHHHH there's the scam!    I was immediately annoyed and asked what part of I will not be paying ANYTHING out of my pocket for labor, etc did you not understand?   HE replied,  oh but you will be saving on your energy bills so you will make the money back.  Oh really?  then why wouldn't I just do the work myself and save $11,000?  He saidbut you can pay it off monthly for no interest and you will save money on your energy bill??

Do not let these overpriced scam artists trick you.   They make you believe they are somehow affiliated with the state government and they are the only ones able to get you the rebates.  NOT TRUE!!  ANYONE can qualify as long as you have qualified  high efficiency equipment installed.   There are plenty of companies that will replace AC, Furnace and Hot water heater for less than HALF of what they wanted to charge!!

I would not recommend Allied Energy. In late October,2014, I had new energy efficient boiler, Air Conditioner and hot water heater installed by Allied Energy. During the installation of the air conditioner, ceiling sheetrock began to cave in.  I was told that their people would come and fix it and paint the ceiling three days later. Noone showed. When I called to find out what happened, I found out that the CFO in a meeting decided that it was not cost effective to have their people do it. Unfortunately, noone had informed me consumer of the change in plans. Then I was told to get a written estimate and fax it to them for payment. A couple of weeks went by (by now mid December) so I called to find out what the hold up. I asked to speak to the CFO - he said the check would be in the mail. It was but one wonders if I hadn't followed up so fervently whether that would have been the case.

I purchased the service plan for maintenance on all the equipment. For four years in a row, they came without the right size filter. This year, I asked the guy to get one and he called his supervisor who said it was ok.
Then, when the guy gets here to service the air conditioner he asks me for white vinegar to which I replied DON'T THEY SUPPLY YOU WITH THE NECESSARY TOOLS? He said that they use so much of it, it's easier this way (and way cheaper for that CFO who still has his lunch money from kindergarten). The service guy was excellent and actually tried to do his job (which no one else had done in the prior years but I didn't know because that is not my area of expertise. Evidently, the air conditioner has been shutting off and turning on rapidly as too much freon or whatever is it had been loaded into the system (which had to have been done on installation as I had noticed it shutting on and off and thought that was part of the efficiency - Silly me).

The next day I called to get them to come and fix the problem as the service guy told me to not use the air conditioner (The temperature for the next 4 days is going to be mid to upper 80's). The lady in service said she hadn't gotten the paper work and she would call me when she got it to set up an appointment 2 weeks in the future. I explained the situation and I got the distinct feeling that she didn't care as that was my problem. Imagine my chagrin with a badly installed pricey air conditioning system that had been overtaxed for 3 years (and would most probably wear out sooner due to the stress caused by their faulty installation.

This is just my air conditioning problems. I will write a separate YELP to explain my heating problems.

DO NOT USE ALLIED ENERGY (ALLIED CONSTRUCTION) in Cherry Hill NJ.

Spent $8,000 for a new furnace and better efficiency to my home. They took out my dehumidifier and said I would never need it again. After numerous calls and attempts to my home, still having humidity issues with my house. The humidity in my house is always in the mid-to-high 60s. I've been in my home for 11 years and never had a problem when it came to humidity in the summer time until now. They should have never touched the dehumidifier in my home.

Allied replaced my furnace, A/C, hot water heater, etc. in 2015. This spring when I first began using my A/C, I noticed the fan was not spinning on the A/C unit. I called Allied, because still under warranty. They took a week to come out, and determined the fan motor was dead after only 2 years. The parts were still under warranty, but had to pay for the labor? Motor was eventually replaced, along with capacitor. I asked the technician if this was unusual after only 2 years, and he said yes, but he has been replacing quite a few motors for same unit I have. A few weeks later when the weather began to heat up, fan went out. I checked the outside fuse box for A/C, and this time it was only the fuse. It happened again when temperature reached 90. I contacted Allied again, they sent someone out. Technician worked on unit, said it's fixed. This has happened now 4 separate occasions since April. I told service manager this A/C unit has to be a lemon, and want a replacement. Service manager continues sending a technician, they fix it, and as of today 7/19/17 A/C continues to blow fuse. This week we are in the middle of a heat wave. A/C went was out again today when I came home from work, and temperature inside is 80 degrees. I have 2 young children, and I wife with MS.

The whole process was great until after the install was done and we realized there were two issues that needed to be addressed. We had to chase after the company (multiple emails and phone calls to many different people) to get them to come correct the first issue, which again was done well (the people who do the actual work are professional, courteous and skilled). After fixing the first issue, the electrician said they'd have to come back and re-lay the insulation and we would hear from them that week. We waited a week, didn't hear from them. Sent an email after a week, no reply. Called again (this time to the project supervisor) after three weeks. We understand completely if they are busy and can't do the work yet, but at least acknowledge that you know there is still work to be done. Particularly because now it's one of the main things we paid for them to do (lay insulation). That's all we expect, and maybe without us having to call and email them multiple times to get even the slightest response. They had no issue sending us multiple emails and calling us prior to the work being done and even now after we have received multiple emails about being sure to schedule our follow up service (on something they didn't install) and asking for recommendations, but be aware that if you have any type of issue after the onus will be on you to chase them down to get it fixed. When I read the reviews, everyone likes the people who do the work, but if they've had an issue everyone says it's hard to get them to follow up. I guess once they get their money they just don't want to be bothered. It's a shame because the people who do the work are great, but with such poor followup resolution we will no longer recommend them
