We had a water pipe leak below the sidewalk of our row home. Mark's team came highly recommended for this job.

Mark gave us a very reasonable estimate (the lowest of 4 quotes we obtained) within 1 day of initially contacting them, and the job was done soon thereafter, between Christmas and New Years. He and his team were kind, professional, and explained the job to us every step of the way. The work was done expeditiously and we are going into the New Year feeling secure about this situation, which could have become a much bigger problem had it not been for JB's timely intervention.

Highly recommended. We had a bad clog in an outdoor sewage/storm drain (old house in downtown Philly) and it backed up and overflowed. I called them at 9:00 and Manuel was here within an hour. He was persistent and professional and the clog put up quite a fight, but he got the job done in less then two hours. Manuel kept me apprised of progress along the way. Very happy with their work.

Brandon is great! He was very responsive, and was able to fit me in soon after I called him. He gave me a very reasonable set quote to replace my kitchen faucet and completed the work quickly with no problems. I also showed him around the house to other things that needed to be done and he was helpful in explaining and advising and gave me a quote for those items as well. I would highly recommend him!

Warren was great. Prompt, efficient, personable and knowledgeable. He completed the job promptly and explained what he was doing. Warren also provided tips for us to use in the future. And he cleaned up after himself and in the work area. He snakes the drain I couldn't do on my own and replaced some old piping. I've been using the same plumber for a number of years. I needed to make a change for several reasons, one being cost.  My regular plumber was getting to expensive. I thought there had to be other good plumbers out there that were more reasonable. I called Aqua plumbing and Billy answered right away. That was a plus right off the bat. Fortunately he was able to come the same day.
A few hours later he was at my door. I needed a whole new shower mechanism installed, as well as a new faucet on the bathroom sink.

He was very engaging, pleasant and more importantly, knowledgeable. His workers came the following week. They were just as pleasant and knowledgeable. They really made me feel at ease.
The job took a while because it's a small bathroom and very tight to work in. They were wonderful.
Took there time and made sure everything was done properly. The price was very reasonable. I was so happy I made the decision to try someone else.
I actually heard about them on Facebook. The reviews were great. So I gave them a try. So glad I did.

I have used John Snyder plumbing three times and every time I'm impressed at how professional they are and the quality of repairs. I've worked with John and Xavier on different occasions and both were a pleasure to work with.

Kit and his team are wonderful to work with. We needed a new water heater to be installed within a difficult, small location within our house, and we were debating whether or not we could use a tankless water heater. Prior to the appointment, Kit texted with me back and forth over my options and answered all of my questions, and in the end we realized a traditional water heater made the most sense. Kit and his team then arrived right on time for the appointment (I feel like that is a rarity with many contractors these days), and he was incredibly respectful and communicative. He noticed that I didn't have shoes on in our house and we had a shoe rack with shoes lined up on it, and so he asked if we normally don't wear shoes in our house and offered to take his shoes off. I was so shocked and grateful since I've never had a contractor be that considerate before! Not only did he do a great job removing our old water heater and installing a new one, but he also cleaned up afterwards and put everything back the way it was. He truly was a pleasure to work with, and I'm grateful to have a plumber whom we know we can trust to communicate as needed throughout the process and can do great, professional work. Thanks again!

I only have great things to say about these guys.   24/7 and very responsive.   I have been calling Goodman for years and they never disappoint.  I live in center city Philly- not the easiest place for service providers.   Most recently Goodman helped me- Super Bowl Sunday - Joe came out when I called with water in my basement .   Yes - Super Bowl Sunday.  Then I called again after a crazy rain the night before the Eagles Parade.   Ryan came out to snake the drain again - ready- the morning of the Parade to make sure I could use my water until they could come back the next day to take a camera down to figure out how bad things were.   Mike came the next day and using the camera determined that my clay pipes were broken and needed to be replace .   Then a few weeks later Steve, Derek and John spent 2 days digging around all the gas lines and other stuff 8 feet under my street to replace my broken pipes.  These guys were professional, friendly and very dependable.   I do and always will recommend Goodman Plumbing.

This is 3rd time we used Rick.  Always responsive and communicates.  First rate work and our projects are not easy  Meticulous and very reasonable rates.

Mike Miller is outstanding!  He was recommended by a friend.  We used him because the contractor through Home Warranty didn't fix the problem but made it worse.  Mike was honest, professional and even recommend I buy a part to save money!  In the end, he found more issues but fixed them all and came back to spend a full day replaced three shutoff valves whose packing nuts were leaking with levers using copper pipes, installed a flood stop shutoff valve, installed PRV and expansion tank, replaced valve at main and installed new kitchen sink faucet.  Two weeks later the flood stop shutoff valve did its job since suddenly we had a slow leak under the hot weater heater. I called Mike who came out that day and replaced the tank that suddenly went.  Highly recommended! A professional plumber who does top notch work at reasonable prices (lower than others). John made a repair to my house heater, which solved  the problem..  However, 4 days later  PGW came to house in response to my call to them of gas leak.  PGW shut off gas to  heater.  It  couldn't be used due to gas leak.  Called John 4 times to ask him to return and see what was wrong.  He never returned phone calls.     Called another plumber and  I bought a new heater and it was installed the next day.  Never did hear from John.  That could have been a nice sale for you John but you were a no show   Jan 18, 2017

Tim Cullen is AMAZING. This is the third time I've used Valdel Plumbing. They are always so fast and courteous. I know I can rely on them for an efficient job well done. I had a corroded sink pipe, which Tim replaced in a flash. He was super nice and showed me exactly what was wrong with the pipe. He's great with pets and just an all around friendly and personable guy. I felt like we were best friends by the time he left, and he was only here for 40 minutes. Highly recommend Tim and Valdel.

A pipe broke on Thursday (Thanksgiving).  Friday morning I entered a Yelp request for a quote from Bommer plumbing.  (Yelp site now says response is typically within 9 hours, although at the time I'd thought it was 4 hours).  Nothing back on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday in spite of their 24 hour service claim.  Early Monday morning I receive a message saying technician can't evaluate from picture and will need to come onsite to quote.  If you accept quote, $87 charge will be waived.  I can understanding wanting more info, but how about a call or request for more detail first, before charging $87 for an estimate?

Compare this to JB Plumbing, where the owner responded within 10 minutes of my request, happened to live nearby and came over to check out the situation (no charge) and then gave me options since he didn't have needed part in hand.  One of the options was to wait and see what other plumbers responded.  If no one was available, let him know and he'd send one of his techs from Phila on Saturday.  Long story short - go with JB and skip the M-F, no holiday support Bommer.

Maybe it was just an off time or they aren't set up to respond to yelp quickly, but they should say so in their listing.

I requested a quote for plumbing work, and they responded immediately and agreed to come out the following day. The following day arrived, and they contacted me saying they would be unable to come out during the agreed upon time, so we rescheduled for the following morning. They never arrived the following morning. I messaged them asking if they were still coming out, and received no response. I cannot speak on the actual quality of their work, but I can say in my experience, they are not reliable.

Chris the owner is very attentive and even goes on job sites for even the small jobs. I am so impressed.  He texted me after hours to get info to fix our plumbing issues.  The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.  Our regular technician is Ray and we love him. He is always on time and does an excellent job.  We have an older house so plumbing issues seem to creep up a bit.  I am really glad we found this guys.  They are our go to plumbers!

This guy is awesome and does no take advantage.

I had a clogged drain on my roof deck and he was here within a couple of days. I had two quotes that were RIDICULOUS from plumbers who were clearly trying to take advantage. One quote was $450 to snake my drain! (stay away from roto rooter under all circumstances). The technicians were curious and professional, fixed the problem and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I will only use them from here on out.

I recently encountered an issue with my basement floor drain which was overflowing due to a clogged main sewer line. I contacted Roto-Rooter to address the problem and they recommended replacing the curb trap, which was estimated to cost around $10,000. Needless to say, this was quite alarming.

Fortunately, I reached out to Mr. Rooter and Kevin Hare came to assess the situation. Kevin was extremely professional and diligent, using a camera to guide the snake cable and locate the blockage in my sewer line. He was able to successfully clear the blockage using water jetting and snake cable techniques, and he fixed the issue for around $1,200. I was extremely grateful for his hard work and expertise, and I highly recommend his services to anyone in need of plumbing assistance. Thank you, Kevin and Mr. Rooter, for your excellent service!

Kevin was fantastic -- he fixed a couple sinks that had been perennial problems in our home. Don't know why we waited to fix these, but he came by, inspected them, helped us pick a replacement, and got everything installed really fast. Super nice, very communicative -- we'll definitely use his service again (and sooner this time!)
