Very responsive (a rarity among contractors from my experience), friendly, professional, and fair rates. They did a great (and fast)  job replacing a toilet for me and based on this experience I would certainly recommend them to others.

I have had nothing but great experience with this company.. called me back immediately when I had an emergency and came same day to fix my issue.. prior to my emergency my previous experiences were all appointments made in advance.. prompt.. Very professional.. reasonably priced and quality workmanship

I have to give a shout out to our awesome plumber Mark Trimble. No he didn't tell me to write any of this but I see a lot of questions in here asking for a great plumber. I can't recommend him enough if you have a job that you need done right the first time, need to fix a job that was botched by another company (like one that rhymes with Sold Pedal), or any challenging or creative fix. Mark and his son are the guys to save the day.

They treat your house like their own. In our case, our sump pump failed and the back up too. Plus the original company who installed the connector to the townhouse drainage system did a terrible job (before we moved in) and water was splashing all back on our bricks causing damage. Mark is not the cheapest plumber but is is absolutely the best around. He can do anything, do it right, do it to code, and make sure you won't run into problems in the future by corner cutting. He knows what he is doing and stands behind his work. I think they must have come by five times for our job to quote, help us keep the basement from flooding, lent us a little manual pump, installation, and checking in to make sure it worked properly. That kind of service is rare these days.

I owned my home for several years and had no ceiling light in my living room. My home was over 100 years old, so it was originally gas lighting. Manny placed 6 recessed lights in my living room ceiling and included a dimmer switch! Then he installed baseboard electric heaters in every room including my living room. He did an excellent job and I was very happy.

I worked with Matt on a unique plumbing issue and he was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. You can trust in A&P!

I am very glad that I contacted Greg to fix the electrical problems in my house. Greg is very knowledgeable and professional. Other contractor I hired earlier couldn't find the problems. Greg found the issues right away and fixed them. I highly recommend him and will definitely call him again should I need electrical work.

This father/son team is awesome.  My central air was not working during a 90 degree heat wave.  They came over 20minutes after I called to inspect the situation and said they'd be able to fix the issue the following AM b/w 8-8:30AM and they came right on the dot.  They are both so friendly, got the job done and the price they quoted me was $250 less than what someone else quoted me.  So happy to have found an electrician that I can trust!!

We had the power to our stove/microwave/garbage disposal go out and spent some money for someone else to do (what we now know was) a quick fix. When it went down again we brought some people out to diagnose. Turns out we needed to wire that fuse to our main box which someone neglected to do prior to use owning the house. The quotes that came in were insanely high but weren't sure. Jim and Sons came out, diagnosed the exact same problem and quoted a much more reasonable price. The thought then creeps in your head, Well what if their work ends up being shoddy due to the price?. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our crew showed up on time, were courteous and went to work right away. Job took exactly the amount of time they estimated and they did an excellent job. I will be calling them for all my electrician needs in the future! Thanks so much.

Had a circuit go out. Tried to diagnose the problem on my own, with no luck. Called JDV - they were booked and gave me an appointent for the following week, then caled the next day to offer an earlier appointment. Shwed up when theu said they woud listened carefully to me, found the issue and fixed it quickly. I'm a DIYer, but next time I have an electrical problem I cant handle, I'll call JDV. Very satisfied.

After buying and moving into a condo in Philadelphia, we learned that some of the electrical work was an electrical fire waiting to happen. We needed, what we thought, was a quick fix with a switch and light fixture. An electrician family friend came over to help us out, and was appalled at what he found. Now, I am not an electrician, nor do I really understand most of what is happening, but we were told there were hidden splices, unsafe wiring, and missing grounding from one of our bedrooms.

The family friend did not have the materials, or time, to help us with all that needed to be done to make the room safe to live in so we turned off the breaker and sent out a quote request on Yelp. I have to admit this was my first time using the request a quote tool for a home service pro. I love that I was able to send the quote out to multiple electricians at once. iTech got back to me quickly, on a Sunday, and had someone out the next day. They even gave me an option for someone to come same day for a higher fee.

We met with the electrician (he was prompt) and he gave us a run down of what we needed and the costs. He provided us with a few different options at a few different price points. They were able to get started right away, which was a huge plus for us.

We found the pricing to be pretty standard, maybe a little pricey when we ran it by our electrician friend. However, the fact that they were able to come out so quickly, are licensed and insured, and able to get started right away made it easy to chose to work with iTech.

We would highly recommend using them for any electrical needs, especially emergencies!

Don and his son are the best!! They work very efficiently and neatly to fix whatever plumbing problem you may have. I have to say they do not GOUGE you either!! Their prices are very fair. I have used Don and referred him to all my friends who are very happy with their work.

Bill and his crew are amazing. Reliable and work so hard on updating the electrical in our older home. Always check with us to confirm the next steps. Personable and pleasant. We both worked from home while they were here and they were so careful. Extremely conscientious about cleaning up and leaving everything neat and tidy. Recommend 100%. They were very good natured about our 3 fur babies barking at them all day long.

Maleik was excellent.  He was flexible with the scheduling and ensured that I understood the work that he was completing in my home.  I definitely recommend FMJ Electrical.

Their service was grossly overpriced.  For unclogging a drain and replacing a pop up stopper, they quoted me at triple what another plumbing company offered.  They ask you to pay 65 dollars even if you decline the high priced repairs, just for showing up at your door.  They also called me asking for the $65 when they hadn't yet returned my $200 deposit on the repair that I declined. I did get my deposit back, but I'm still out the $65 for having them them to walk into my house and give me an overpriced estimate.

The leak detection side of their offerings was fine.

However, I made the mistake of hiring them for their plumbing. Their plumber found the most roundabout, expensive way to resolve the issue and turned a $400-$500 fix into a $2500 fix.

Even once it was fixed, it started leaking again a few weeks later. This was supposed to be covered by my warranty, but they wanted more money.I ended up paying another $250 so they would do the fixe the way it should've been done in the first place.

If you use them to find your leak, do not under any circumstances hire them to fix anything.
