Very responsive (a rarity among contractors from my experience), friendly, professional, and fair rates. They did a great (and fast)  job replacing a toilet for me and based on this experience I would certainly recommend them to others.

I owned my home for several years and had no ceiling light in my living room. My home was over 100 years old, so it was originally gas lighting. Manny placed 6 recessed lights in my living room ceiling and included a dimmer switch! Then he installed baseboard electric heaters in every room including my living room. He did an excellent job and I was very happy.

I worked with Matt on a unique plumbing issue and he was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. You can trust in A&P!

I have an old house with baseboard heater and boiler. He had the exact knowledge I needed and handled it no problem. If you are a sensitive person he might offend you, but he is open, honest and tells it like it is. He did walk right in and to the basement without saying a word at first but he answered questions and was cool to me. He has a certain sense of humor that can go over some peoples heads. Even showed me a few things with my system. I had a Yelp 5 star company come out only to try to charge me for something I didn't need at this moment, I just needed my heater on without the extra bs.

I had Gen 3 rewire my house years ago and am hiring them again to install a pendant light in the dining area. Manny was professional, courteous and methodical with his work. He listened to my ideas and explained the scope of the work. He worked with me to mark the exact place and height I want the pendant light to be and made sure there was no debris left from the work afterwards. It's not easy dealing with a hundred year old house, thank you so much for your help!

The experience with FMJ Electrical was exceptional from the start. A wonderful person answering the phone, smart and efficient. It was an emergency and they arrived so fast. Frank was very professional , his shirt was so clean and pressed. First impressions are everything! Frank and his crew fixed the electrical service in hours. His crew was well prepared, qualified and knowledgeable and they also recommended a inspector to come out to do a complete inspection for PECO. Everyone is so personable. Work ethics are top notch!!! Have been using this company for heating issues with my last rental home (Wynnewood area) and now my current home (Media area). They are really wonderful. They bring out their guys fast and on time. All of the guys that have come are very helpful, knowledgeable and spend the time to teach you what's going on. Their prices may be a bit more expensive than a smaller company but in exchange you get emergency services on top. We called one time in the dead of winter with no heat on a Sunday at 7:30 and there was someone over by 8a. One of the technicians saw that I had children and after he was done with the job, left a couple coloring books for them too! ... which says nothing regarding how they are about how good of a job they do but it just shows that they're thoughtful people in general.

The leak detection side of their offerings was fine.

However, I made the mistake of hiring them for their plumbing. Their plumber found the most roundabout, expensive way to resolve the issue and turned a $400-$500 fix into a $2500 fix.

Even once it was fixed, it started leaking again a few weeks later. This was supposed to be covered by my warranty, but they wanted more money.I ended up paying another $250 so they would do the fixe the way it should've been done in the first place.

If you use them to find your leak, do not under any circumstances hire them to fix anything.
