Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Delmarva Plumbing Service
Its hard to find an honest plumber, so when I had an issue at my house, I was concerned.  Their price was fair and I got an appointment for the same day while other local plumbers had me wait for days.  Kevin was awesome, he explained the process and  was professional.  He didn't just throw out any number, he explained the procedure and had written documents which justified his assessment.  They stand behind their work 100%.  The receptionist was friendly and called back to check up the on us after the job was completed.  I felt so satisfied with their work that, i signed up my office as well.  Excellent service all around.  Thank You !!!  A++++++++++++++++

I am completely satisfied with his work. Good help is hard to find and I'm glad I found him!

Bob bell plumbing Plumbing Service
I've been looking for an honest old-fashioned plumber who does the job you want done.
Bob's knowledge of plumbing exceeds anything I could've ever expected from a plumber at his rates. The savings that I experience with Bob allowed me to get a little extra work done without going over budget and I would believe anyone would appreciate that.
If you need a plumber from simple to sophisticated this is the guy you need!

Newtown Plumbing Service Plumbing Service
Dan was recommended to me by a neighbor. He was able to schedule removing and replacing a kitchen faucet within a day.

Dan showed up right on time, got to work immediately and removed the old unit and installed the new faucet in short order.

In addition to the above, Dan was fair and reasonable in his pricing.

Dan is now my go-to guy for all things plumbing related.

One happy customer...

S & J Plumbing Plumbing Service
Jason is a pleasure to work with-- I had called him after getting his coupon in the money mailer bc I was afraid that I had a major problem with my toilet.  He was on time, showed me his plumbing license, and spent a lot of time with me, Answering all of my questions.  Luckily, the problem wasn't a problem after all.   He is also not the kind of plumber whose gonna charge you an arm and a leg, which I really respect and appreciate in this day and age. Now I know in the future, who to call, if and when there is a problem! He also rescues dogs and other animals, which to me, is a win win. I would recommend him to anyone.

The House Doctor Plumbing Plumbing Service
Just had the House Doctor team, Kerry and Roy, come in and replace our water heater tank, and I'd recommend them to anyone who has any plumbing, electrical, carpentry problems that they need a capable team to complete it. They were personable and professional gentlemen, and really did an amazing job, complications and all.

Really had difficulty finding a plumber that I felt I could trust as I'm unfamiliar with the work that needed to be done. I had searched Yelp, Home Advisor, Home Depot, and even Amazon Home Services (AHS), but wasn't satisfied with the polarized reviews of some of the plumbers I read about. Eventually, I stumbled on the House Doctor through AHS where they had excellent reviews, but discovered that they were no longer on that platform. So, I did a quick google search and found them on Home Advisor where it reflected the same enthusiasm for their work. I finally felt somewhat comfortable moving forward with them and have not regretted that decision.

Basically, our water heater had no way of getting out of our basement closet without breaking down a wall / doing some demolition work AND it was going to be very difficult to transport both the old and the replacement water tanks. They got creative with the solution and only had to take out part of the door framing to get it out, cut some piping, cleaned up the area, brought in the new unit, and re-positioned the piping to connect to the new unit. After cleaning up the area and re-installing the door framing, they left the set-up better than it had been before, leaving everything in perfect, working condition.

Kerry and Roy were both personable and funny, but when it came to the work and costs, they didn't play any games. Kerry is not only capable in plumbing, but also electrical work, carpentry, and other areas, so I will definitely be working with him going forward and recommend him to anyone who has any related problems. They don't call him the House Doctor for nothing!

Thanks again guys!
Richard

edit: total costs around $2,000, a bargain for the great work they did. Your mileage may vary.

Good Plumbing Htg & A C Plumbing Service
We had a plumber out just to permanently close off some pipes that had been attached to a wetsink. While he was here, he shut off the water and turned on the faucets to clear the water (all standard). However when he turned the water back on our upstairs shower was running and the door was open and he didnt check it. The water flooded our bathroom and caused damage to our kitchen ceiling which now needs to be replaced. We called about an hour after the plumber left, were transferred to him, and his suggestions was buy new drywall and replace the ceiling yourself.
Since this visit I have called and left messages numerous times but keep being told Rick the supervisor isnt in. We used this company many times in the past but obviously will not again, I am shocked at the lack of customer service and accountability for the damage caused.

Lucas Ltd Plumbing Service
My first post about this company although I've been fortunate enough to do business with them over 15 years ago when I was a business owner in need of plumbing. Today we had a serious backup at my mother in laws home. They sent a plumber in less than 90 minutes, the communication from the first phone call until the plumber left was efficient,  personable and professional.  The plumber who came, Rich, was polite and an excellent communicator. He was clean and fastidious in his work and the cleanup. He solved our problem and answered my questions in a very professional manner. He left our home in immaculate condition after several hours of tedious work. This is why I called Lucas as my previous experience was EXACTLY like this one.  Lucas is the best plumbing service in Bucks County. You won't be sorry if you call.

Palmerio Plumbing Plumbing Service
Had extreme cold temperatures and my pipes froze even though the area was heated. I had zero water in the whole house. I called Palmerio Plumbing and Joe came out within an hour. He quickly diagnosed where the problem was and water was on within 20 minutes of his arrival. Cost was very reasonable for an emergency call. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. Thanks Joe!  I was stressing this morning!

Bukowski Plumbing Plumbing Service
Thank you for such responsive and excellent service.  I am extremely satisfied with my experience.  My tenant called me on a Sunday complaining of a toilet leaking from the first floor into the basement.  I called Bukowski Plumbing and spoke to Robert.  They arrived at the house at the agreed upon time, repairs were completed perfectly, and the price was fair.  I'm so happy I called Bukowski Plumbing, they are now my new plumbing service!

Walsh & Son Plumbing Service
Spoke with Joe and scheduled a date and time for him to come out for a job. I then scheduled my morning around this appointment....He was a no show, and I have not heard from him at all, even after trying to reach out to him directly to see if he was still coming. I would not use someone like this who  has no accountability, and is clearly not professional.

I am writing this review as contractors like this need to be exposed.

Pafumi Services Plumbing Service
As luck would have it, our water heater sprang a leak the day before our house was scheduled to go up for sale. Pafumi replaced it on very short notice; we called them in the morning, explained that we were moving out and had just listed the house, and they came out a couple of hours later. The workers were pleasant, professional and did a good job. We knew their rate was higher than most, but since we were ready to leave the state we felt the quick response made it a fair trade-off.  BUT .... cut to 6 weeks later: we've moved to No. Carolina, have a buyer for the house, and closing is a week away. Our realtor meets the certificate of occupancy inspector at the house and at some point he asks about the permit on that new water heater. She calls us to inquire about it, and I'm dumbstruck. I called Pafumi to ask if they'd applied for a permit, and the lady says indignantly, OH no, we don't do that. That's on you, that's on the homeowner. I said no one had even suggested to us that we'd need to apply for a permit after the installation, and asked if they normally mention that detail to their customers. She said, again with what sounded like a lot of attitude, I know I don't, and I don't think my techs do either. Like I said, that's on YOU! I suggested that they might want to mention it in the future, since water heater permits/inspections are evidently required, and she replied Most people don't want to bother with them anyway. Huh? I don't WANT to bother with it, or to pay taxes either, for that matter, but it's the law! And now we're living 10 hours away and can't sell our house without that missing permit. I explained the situation to her and she did get somewhat more helpful at that point. She offered to ask Mr Pafumi to fill out the paperwork, but said it wouldn't be till 'at least Monday' (it was Friday afternoon). The clock was counting down on settlement, so I called the permit office to see if I could do anything to get the process underway but they told me that until the contractor fills out 'the jacket', there's nothing the homeowner can do. So obviously even if we'd known about the need for a permit, Pafumi had to initiate the process. The whole mess would've resulted in a postponed closing if it wasn't for our incredibly resourceful realtor, Lynn Stambaugh at Cardinal Realty, who met Pafumi at their office door first thing Monday morning, hand-carried the application to the W. Deptford code office, begged/pestered/cajoled and somehow got it processed, paid for, inspected and approved in record time, and then coaxed the CO inspector back to the house to reinspect on the very last business day before settlement. Of course the water heater did pass inspection; like I said, the workers had done a good job and they did it quickly. Hence the two stars here instead of one, which is what I feel the company really earned by playing dumb about the need for permits, and adding a ton of down-to-the-wire tension to what was already a stressful situation.

Horizon Services Plumbing Service
I called for services when our heater wasn't working.  They did come out promptly, but that is about the best I can say.  I was told that my relief valve needed to be replaced and that would be $900.  I told the technician that seemed high since it only cost about $200 previously.  I was told it was because it would take several hours to drain the system.  He said he still needed to see what else was wrong.  I was told the expansion tank for the home heating system needed to be replaced and the gas valve and that would be $1212.  He didn't recommend that, but a new system would be better and that they could have a comfort specialist out in the afternoon and have a new system installed the next day.  He also looked at the hot water heater and recommend replacing stuff on that, he wasn't out to look at the hot water heater, so I don't know why he touched that.  He also turned off the valve for the home heating system's expansion tank, which I was told was never to be turned off.
When I was writing the check for the service call, $79.50, he tried to sell me the $89 maintenance package.  In addition once I was done writing the check, he told me about completing a survey and getting money off the $79.50, a little too late.  I completed the survey anyway.
I had another company come out the same afternoon, a company who did work on our heater before, including replacing the relief valve.  It was only $174 for the relief valve, $477 for the gas valve and was told the expansion tank was in good shape and didn't need to be replaced.   In addition it took only a few minutes to drain the system to replace the relief valve, not several hours.   I was also told that the core of our heater was in good shape, no leaks or corrosion.
The cost quoted us to repair our system was over 3x more with Horizon than the other company.  In addition our heater was fixed in less than 2 hours and it working great and nice and quiet.  I would  never recommend Horizon to anyone.

Tinneny Bruce Plmbr Plumbing Service
I lived in one of the apartments they rent out. I have NEVER seen such negligent apathy. They are absolute slumlords that have no regard for their tenants' quality of life or the status of their properties. I have called to report a problem with the house many many times and they would be so nice on the phone and act so concerned and then NEVER come fix the problem. Or, they would come look at the problem, say they'd be back and then NEVER come back. They are jokes. Also, the house has had a PLUMBING issue for about 3 months (every time it rains the drains back up and the toilet wont flush) so if that is any indication of the quality of their plumbing business, I would STAY AWAY. Don't be fooled by their fake kindness. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR THEIR BUSINESS(ES).

Update:  5/5/2020
For several weeks due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our governor & mayor have mandated that people working in essential business wear masks and practice social distancing.  In fact, someone is supposed to check people entering businesses to ensure they are wearing masks.  There is a possibility that this business and/or office staff may be violating these mandates.  Yesterday (5/4/2020) about 745AM I observed 3 young Caucasian women crossing Rising Sun Avenue @ Comly Street where the business is located.  Not only were the women standing next to each other but NONE of them were wearing face coverings whatever?!  Am wondering during the few minutes time I spent waiting for the Route 18 bus southbound whether anyone inside was checking for face coverings but since none of them left the building during that time am concluding that either they had masks in their purses or no one inside bothered to check them as required.
