Let just start with GE Electrical Services saved the day......Monday 20, 2020 we were doing a small plumbing job that just consist of adding shut off vales....unknowing to us the water dripped down in the basement and got on wires that were old, rusted and exposed. It cause half of our building to go out and start an electrical spark, we thought as we smelled the burnt wires. We had to think fast and called several electrical companies and did not have any luck, mind you this was on MLK holiday at 6:30 at night. I looked on Yelp and came across GE Electrical Services and our Hero Edmond the service manager answered the phone and said he would be right over. He stated it would only take him 20 min to arrive and once he did he kicked right into action, he identified the issue and stated that there was a fire in the wall. He worked quickly to cut the power to the dangerous old, rusted and exposed wires to ensure safety. He also let us know that 3 new lines would have to be ran and that he would email us the cost and schedule us for his next appointment Wednesday 22, 2020. Edmond and his company GE Electrical Services came and got the job done very professional and friendly. The services they provided , excellent customer service and reasonable prices I would recommend them to all and will be using them for any future services. Thanks GE Electrical Services You Rock!!!

CJ did an awesome job running new wiring from my panel to a new outlet for a sauna I am installing. He was attentive to detail, clean work, no damage to walls - looks like he was never here. Highly recommend for quality work at good price. Responded to me an completed the job in less than 24hrs from my first outreach.

PG came out to restore power to our doorbell. They replaced the transformer quickly and without issue. They were right on time, professional, and did good work at a good price. Also good communication

Very educational and responsive. However, we weren't able to move forward with hiring them (maybe in the future) to due the 95 dispatch fee. I still would recommend them given how professional and respectful they are.

I found Princeton Electrical Makeover via the Tesla site.  They were fantastic through out the process of estimating, quoting, scheduling and installation.  I really appreciated the thorough communications, attention to detail and the clean work.  I am ready to take delivery of my Model 3 next month!

Tom and his trainee installed a ceiling fan in my 4th bedroom.  It is beautiful and they know what they are doing. The office staff are so friendly.  Quick easy service.  They never disappoint.

I was happy with the work done by EP Electric; they were very responsive in December when I needed 2 outdoor outlets replaced. They came within a day of the request sent to several electricians.  While at my house I asked for an estimate to have some switches changed to dimmers. The next time I needed an electrician was to change out some light fixtures. Again, EP Electric was pretty responsive and available in my timeframe. Since I had used them before, I was comfortable having them come out. When that job was complete, I again discussed the dimmers I wanted and we discussed when I wanted to get the work done.  We are working on a schedule for this week and I think it will really add to the ambiance of my house. Looking forward to it.

I relied on the yelp reviews of this company as I needed an electrician and I haven't had the best of luck with past contractors. Married 2 Electric was awesome! Rod answered his phone right away when I called and the electrician Todd was on time, super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! Issues fixed quickly and he was considerate and clean with his work. Joel and team were fantastic! Provided a quote within an hour of my initial inquiry, scheduled an appointment within 24 hours, showed up in a timely fashion, and completed the job with high quality at a very fair price.

What separates Joel and the team from others is their integrity. In my initial inquiry, he sent an idea to me for how to solve the issue without a service call. In addition, after completing the call, which was very quick, he significantly cut the invoice amount. He came to my home....late. OK fine, people get busy.
I showed him 2 ceiling lights that were not working. He only removed one switch plate,  I had to give him a screwdriver, and put his volt meter up to the switch not to the terminals, then proceeds to tell me the the current is weak.  At this point he must think I'm an idiot, but I play along. We go down to the basement and he looks at the panel and says, he's going to have to bring a second guy so that they can find a break in the wire somewhere in the wall.  According to him it may take a couple of hours or it may take a full day.
I say thank you very much and escort him out.  The problem folks .......... A bad light switch, cost $3.00 from Home Depot.

Chris did a great job on doing the electric work to enable a garbage disposal to be installed. He also installed GFCI outets, an above the sink light and additional switch. He communicated the job effectively, worked hard throughout the project and was reasonably priced. He ensured that the area was clean when he left. I talked to him about another possible job in the future. He knows his business. Will use again. Highly recommend.

I called this company on a hot summer day when my tenant called me and told me her power went off.  I was running around town with my two kids, so in a hurry I decided to call the first company I saw on yelp. I really wish I had taken more time to look for a more reputable company.

First, be aware that this company has multiple listings for different locations all over the city. If you look at their other listings, you will see the many poor reviews that they have received.

I received multiple phone calls from different people after my initial service request. They repeatedly told me that there is a $165 charge for emergency dispatch, and that once they do an inspection, they will let me know what the cost of the actual work will be. When the technician got to the house, a guy named Steven Miller called me and said he wanted me to pay the dispatch fee upfront before anything is done.  He then sent me an email to get my written authorization to charge the credit card. All of this seemed a bit odd to me... the multiple phone calls, the written authorization, the fee up front... but I didn't think too much of it and just proceeded.

About 10 minutes after I paid for the dispatch fee, Steve calls me back with his technician on the phone to tell me that they have to charge me another fee for the diagnostic. I told them that my understanding was after spending $165 they would be able to tell me what's wrong and give me an estimate on the cost of the work. He then proceeded to repeat everything that he and another one of his employees had already told me over the phone multiple times. I told him that I did not feel comfortable proceeding forward and that I was going to call around to see if other companies have similar practices. He then had his other employee (a woman with a courteous voice) call me to try to reason with me. I told her again that I was going to call around and if this is common practice, then that's fine, but if not then I will be leaving a long review for them.

I got off the phone with the woman and called another local electrician. This man was honest, prompt and straightforward. He came out within half hour and fixed the problem for me under 10 minutes and charged me a third of what Thomas Edison had quoted me for simply coming out and finding out what the problem is (not including any work done).

Needless to say, I will be sticking with my honest electrician from now on. Steve did call me again to tell me that he would not charge me the $165 as a courtesy to make me happy. I thought for a second about not leaving a bad review, but I decided that I cannot let this company get away with unethical practice. This company needs to know that people are not stupid and this kind of bait and switch business practice will only backfire. Simple honesty, trustworthiness and respect for people is the way to go.
