I was had such a dilemma: washing machine and dryer delivery was on its way and Moser Electric were very accommodating. The process was easy, the quote was reasonable and the work impeccable. I would definitely recommend this company.

Thomas showed up with a mask, he inspected the layout with a professional outlook, to be creative and installed the correct kinds of outlets, wasn't someone who wanted shortcuts, took him two hours over the required time and was reasonable. Great job done Thomas!

Raul helped us renovate a commercial property and was very polite. The quote was fair and him and his team completed it in a timely manner. I am excited to work with them again in the future!

Joe Addis is the best! Very knowledgeable and a great electrician! He helped us take care of the items that we were asked to address as part of a home inspection. Definitely recommend using him for any of your electrical projects!

Pellegrino is honest and extremely competent. I had called him out as a second opinion for an electrician who recommended 2,500 dollars of work. He came out to look at a switchbox that I was concerned about, took his time examining it, and with explaining what was and wasn't an issue and that I really didn't have a problem. 2 years later- no electrical issues whatsoever. He even turned down any money for his time. There's a few times where you are just surprised at someone's professionalism. I'm disappointed that I've taken this long to write him a review and will definitely go to him for any electrical work I have.

These guys did a number of small jobs for me - installing a few new outlets, new light fixtures. They were reasonable, quick, did good work and were easy to work with. I have since hired them to do additional work. I will use them for all my electrical needs in the future. Highly recommended

HIGGINS ELECTRIC -- DREAM TEAM TURNED IT AROUND. Must read!
New to the Media area, just closed on a condo and 1 day later ...
ELECTRIC ISSUES!
With specific electric outage switch issues throughout the new (but dated) place (ie kitchen, dining room and bedrooms).
I thought I was being Punk'd - I haven't even unpacked!
BASED ON A REFERRAL
Called HIGGINS ELECTRIC - I spoke to Theresa (so nice and solution-oriented), who put me at ease and ultimately dispatched some of their best electricians, Krista and Bob!
Krista and Bob both came (after confirming every step of the way via text or call/ their arrival, next steps etc)... masked, helpful, kind, friendly- PROFESSIONAL -- straight to the point. Like CSI-Where's this issue!? What did you experience, etc They both went to their detective work. Very thorough, asking questions and checking outlets and overhead wiring, panels, etc.
THE SOLVE/RESOLUTION
HIGGINS ELECTRIC TEAM soon identified a a random switch outlet in the condo that was rigged to control all those rooms (who knew?)
HIGGINS ELECTRIC TEAM soon updated my outdated electric wiring: replacing my kitchen ballast and switch; swapped out my dining room fixture; and updated the master bed room light/ceiling fan with LED/remote control fixture!
THE SWEET SPOT
From being so very upset, frustrated and despondent about the electricity in my 1st new place, I was immediately transformed to a place of THANKS AND APPRECIATION above and beyond! and loving the fabulous and functional updates!
HIGGINS ELECTRIC TEAM ROCKS! I recently learned this is a family owned business operating in The area over 75 years - and still going strong! you will see why... They deliver! they are knowledgeable! they are Professional and fair!

Steve has done a number of projects at my house: from electrical repairs, recessed lighting installation, and the installation of a backup generator for when the power goes out. Electrical Solutions is one of the best contractors I've ever worked with. They always return my calls and they do what they say they are going to do. The work is top-notch and the prices are very reasonable.

JDog was a true Godsend. On the heels of a terrible moving experience, I called JDog to help me reassemble some furniture. Buck was so accommodating, he moved some things around on the schedule and had a guy at my apartment in a half hour! In 90 minutes, Matt assembled my son's bed (a loft with a slide-not easy!), our king size platform bed frame and hung a huge mirror. He was polite but got the job done swiftly and professionally. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Happy to support our servicemen and women!

Exceeded my expectations. Installed a new 2story chandelier within a week of the estimate.

Another project completed successfully by Wes Carver Electric. After upgrading my home from 100 to 200 amp service in 2019, this most recent project was small by comparison but no less important to us. Andrew came out to convert an old breaker dedicated to a long-since removed hot tub into an outdoor electrical outlet that would allow us to plug in our new outdoor landscape lighting. Andrew was on time, professional, friendly and thoughtful in explaining the project, costs and reviewing the work on completion. He was also great with our two older Labrador retrievers who are always curious about visitors. As always, we'll be calling Wes Carver Electric for our next project, large or small.

Perfect job - A+ ! ! Widow, in 70s, I bought my first house, knowing very little. Joshua Sell, who bought and flipped the house, did not use licensed electrician or plumber. Countless hazardous wiring problems in three renovated basement areas became apparent when a leak forced opening of walls. Michael Stapleford identified issues needing redoing, explained everything so even I could understand, and quoted a fair price - a little less than a different, rather unpleasant, local electrician quoted. Michael's son Elliot - second generation electrician - arrived promptly with an apprentice, fixed everything with as little mess as possible, cleaned up even better than I clean, and explained carefully everything he had done. Remarkable, amazing sense of professional courtesy and commitment. This is my forever electrician!

I had one dead outlet in a circuit. The company charged $618 to reconnect a hot wire that blew loose on a GFI outlet in the other bathroom! The electrician was here for less than 30 minutes! I am currently disputing the price.
FYI they take a impression of your credit/debit card before they can start the work (RED FLAG) and they will not take personal checks. In order for them to do the work today you HAVE to sign a waiver of right to cancel payment (RED FLAG)... I specifically stated on the phone this is not an emergency and there is no urgency so I have no clue why the bill was $600+...
After this experience I did some extensive research and apparently they were on the local news for ripping off a 91 year old man for $30,000 and they didn't even fix the problem. Google the phrase, Big Repair Bills from Thomas Edison, a local news story covered by consumer reporter Jim Donovan of CBS to the see video and read the article.
EDIT:
I got the price reduced to $450 after being EXTORTED into giving them a 5 star rating with positive feedback... A few weeks after the transaction I had the credit/debit card canceled and I opened a new checking account to transfer my money to SO NOW I CAN FINALLY VOICE MY TRUE OPINION without fear of them charging my account the difference(they have your credit/debit card impression)...
I guess this is what I get for trusting the google reviews which you are reading now... These ratings are worthless and they don't mean a thing... I wouldn't be surprised if all these positive reviews were a result of the same tactic they used on me... Beware, you are warned!

I contacted Thomas Edison Electric on a Saturday afternoon after seeing smoke coming from the electrical panel in my home. I was concerned for the safety of my babies and home and contacted the company because they provided service on weekends an evenings. An electrician arrived after 5:00 p.m., examined the panel, said that it was the worst water damage to an electrical panel he had ever seen, and asked if I wanted the good news (he could fix it) or the bad news (it would cost $9200 and take 5-6 hours). Fearing an electrical fire in my home and feeling stuck with needing a repair done as darkness approached, I authorized the repair.
Now that I knew what the problem was and what was needed (replacing a 200-amp electrical panel), and having a sinking feeling that $9200 was probably very overpriced, even for a Saturday night, I started to look online for estimates of what that repair should cost, and I saw several estimates that confirmed that we were grossly over-charged, and it should cost a couple of thousand dollars, max.
I asked the electrician and his friend, a non-Edison employee who came after the fact to help him, to stop work. I asked to speak to the supervisor. The electrician put me in touch with the owner, who immediately became defensive. I explained that I feared for the safety of my family and home with a potential electrical fire, panicked, authorized the repair, but after seeing what exactly the problem was, I found that $9200 was an outrageous amount for a job that other providers online estimated should be $2000-3000. The owner continued with his defensive, rude backtalk. I told him that I could not allow being charged $9200 for this job. He finally agreed to charge us $6500, and refunded the difference to my credit card - they charged my card for $9200 before they even started work. The owner told me that I could submit a claim to my homeowners insurance company to be reimbursed. The electrician and his friend completed the job by 9:00. It took them 3 hours, not the 5-6 hours quoted when I was given the estimate.
My homeowners insurance company estimated that replacing a 200-amp electrical panel should cost $2786. An electrician who has worked in other homes in my neighborhood told me that he would charge $1500 to replace the panel, plus $300 for working on a weekend. After receiving this information, I called the owner and expressed my displeasure at being taken advantage of, and that I believed that they took advantage of a family who feared for their safety on a weekend when they wouldn't have an opportunity to get other estimates or find other service providers. I was met with more rude and unprofessional backtalk from the owner. This is an unethical company that takes advantage of homeowners in difficult situations.
