In short, if there is literally any other service available other than D Nelson, use it instead. Every interaction with D Nelson has been terrible. Zero respect for customers and zero sense of urgency or empathy.
On two occasions now I've had absolutely horrible experiences working with D Nelson.
They don't answer their phone, they don't keep you updated on arrival times, they don't even greet you when arriving at the house. While on the job, D Nelson complained about customers calling him, complained about being tired, questioned if we really even had an issue, and took the liberty of leisurely smoking his pipe. Once the issue was diagnosed (as exactly what I told him), he informed me he wasn't sure when he'd order the replacement part, maybe when he got home that night since he was kind of tired. He couldn't provide any real estimate on when he would place the order, when the part might arrive, or when he might be able to install it and was noticeably frustrated that I'd even have the audacity to inquire about such things.
Almost a week later, D Nelson and his son resolved the issue. Regardless of how long it took to diagnose, order, and repair, in the future I will go to the ends of the world to not have to deal with D Nelson's horrendous attitude towards his customers.
