With these recent very heavy rains my backyard drain was moving incredibly slow and needed professional attention. I initially contacted 49.99 drain service and had a terrible customer service experience over the phone and will never use them again. I then contacted Roto Rooter and they came to my house looked at the drain and gave me a price of $385 plus tax!!!! I said no thanks! I turned to yelp and found so many glowing reviews about original
718. I  called  them after 9 am today (Saturday). Michael the owner answered. He asked me about my problem and quoted me a price of 100 dollars! He sent someone over that morning after 11 am!!! Incredibly competent and polite technician took care of my problem! Thank you for polite, efficient, swift and affordable service!!!  I will definitely use again and recommend to my neighbors as well!!

Peter and Javier were wonderful to work with. They installed three new toilets for me and a kitchen faucet, all for a very reasonable price. This job was not easy and they encountered several problems along the way, but they came up with creative solutions and got everything done. I have never written a review on Yelp before, but for Peter and Javier I feel that I must. Trust me... you will not be disappointed as really they are the best!

These guys are TOPS. Sent out an auto yelp request on Christmas Eve and Mike took the call and was even willing to send someone that eve or Xmas day to fix a boiler. Two days later, for a different problem at a friend's place, he took a call at 7p and showed up within 20 minutes and stayed until the problem (flooded basement from burst pipe at abandoned house next door) was fixed.

Needed a leaking water heater replaced ASAP.  Called Tom's Plumbing and they showed up the next day.  They delivered a new water heater, replaced the old one and hauled it away.  They were very friendly and helpful.   Would definitely call them again for any future plumbing problems.

They were fantastic and I highly recommend! Bruno and another man came, were polite, on time, efficient and reasonably priced. We ran up against a issue not having access to the water shut off when they needed it, and they figured out a work around, no problem, and we're reassuring me the whole time that it was ok, we would figure it out. Despite the extra work, Bruno still invoiced me the exact price he had quoted me. Would absolutely use them again. Thanks! :)

I had to find a plumber recently when the unnecessarily-exotic boiler in my rented apartment started leaking and releasing gas.

The short version is: The plumber who helped us (Dominic) was super-communicative, very personable, diligent, thoroughly addressed our issue (even getting on the phone with the boiler manufacturer to fully troubleshoot the issue), and even followed-up with us the next day to make sure everything was still working. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with the technician who was sent to our house.

The reason I'm deducting a star is that it was actually quite difficult to reach anyone in the front office of the business over the phone to schedule an appointment or get a billing question answered. (Perhaps a result of being one of the few plumbing businesses on Yelp to have a lot of positive reviews...?) I'd call several times in an hour and go to voicemail each time. I'd leave voicemail messages that weren't answered til the next day. The one time I did reach someone on the phone, the woman who answered the phone had room to be about 25% more professional and pleasant. (You're dealing with stressed-out people with broken plumbing; a good attitude goes a long way, no?)

Anyway, once I was able to get someone scheduled to address my issue, it was nothing but smooth sailing and reassurance. In spite of the hassle of getting something scheduled, I'd use them again. I get the sense they're a bit pricey, but you're paying for the confidence of a job well done.

They were fast, responsive, and got the job done. I got my pipes and faucet replaced they seemed to have given a fair price. It's hard to compare since I didn't try others, but they seemed pretty good.

Found Top Pro Plumbing via yelp.  I needed a pipe in the basement fixed that had developed a leak.  Benny responded very quickly on yelp.  We set up a time to meet and he came and gave me a free estimate.  It was fair and very reasonable so we set up to do the work the next day.   Benny called and showed up on time and the pipe was changed quickly with no surprises.  I am setting up an appointment now for other plumbing work that needed to be done that I had been putting off.  Thanks, Benny!

Only thing I would like to point out is that, I never got the bill email I was promised or the drain cover photo or link email that will work better for me.

Got to my apartment on time and did the work as quickly as possible. Solved my nearly week long clogged bath drain and showed up ASAP. So, yap, I am satisfied with the service. Thanks! (:

Without a doubt, my best plumbing experience.
Starting with a gas line repair to a boiler. They were quick, efficient and friendly. Later in the week, I was having a dishwasher installed, they came to repair and replace the valve going to the dishwasher. They came on the same day I called. Very reasonable prices. I will certainly use them again, my go-to plumbers now.

I had an issue with installing a bidet toilet seat because our bathroom setup was irregular. GG Plumbing suggested the part that would fix the issue. This was after I already tried to ask many other plumbing companies for solutions to no avail. I even went to a plumbing supply store but that didn't help either. Thanks to GG Plumbing, I was able to install the toilet seat with minimum cost. Even though I didn't need for GG to come help, his quoted price was also much more reasonable than the other plumbing companies I reached out to.

We recently had an issue with needing a sign-off and he responded immediately.  

He has a master plumber license and that means he can get things done directly with Department of Buildings.  Uptown property owners needing to find a good plumber should seek him out.

MKCs' five star rating is well earned! I found MKC here on Yelp and Chris responded instantly. I explained the issue I had (a leaking water heater at a relatives house) and Chris gave a very fair and honest explanation of my options. Chris was then able to stop by that day and resolved the issue. Chris is a credit to his profession and I would happily recommend him to family and friends.

Manny came by to fix a problem with our boiler a few weeks ago. He was efficient and neat throughout the whole process. Unlike others I have called in the past, he was pleasant and honest with me. I will definitely call and recommend Manny for future projects.

My dishwasher was leaking and I called waterhouse to repair, They came and fix the problem within an hour. Very professional and fast, will call again!

Absolutely the best plumbing service I have ever used. I called this morning at 8:00am regarding a small leak with my water heater. They called back within 30 mins with a free quote and estimate. He said he could have a service man out between 9:00am and 11:00am. The service tech called at 10:00am to let me know he was on his way. and would be here within 5 mins.  He showed up on time assessed the situation offered a great price, and finished the work in less than 20 mins.

Bargain Plumbing and Heating will be my go to guys for any plumbing issues from here on out. You've earned a customer for life.

Shower was clogged from too much hair going down the drain.  I tried everything but need a profesh.  Rusty's was easy to text and had someone come the next day.  Service was fast, friendly and a good price.

A very pleasant experience. We had pipe damage to a cast iron steam radiator. Some plumbers wouldn't take the job. Others made a huge production of it. We had a few plumbers come in and quote really insane prices...We know we have to pay for professional services but sometimes your instinct tells you something is 'off'. I took a chance and noticed ESP had only all positive reviews. I spoke to someone booking the appointment immediately. I had a call back from John in like 15 minutes. We made an appointment for the evening and John arrived early.

John quickly determined the issue. He confirmed it was a simple issue to solve. He saw no need to purchase additional piping or valves. He didn't price gouge me or find additional items to pad the cost. In fact, it was the agreed upon price that was discussed over the phone initially.

Most important John knew how to solve the issue and was done in 20 minutes. And he seems genuinely interested in showing you what's the issue and not put off with you there watching. He also pointed out some work we can do into the future to prevent further issues

I called and asked how much it would be for someone to pit in a pilot valve on my boiler. I already know whats wrong with it. My old one was buzzing and my friend already bought the part, he just hasmt had time yet to install. The wasnted $175 TO WALK IN MY DOOR to look at it. Just to assess the problem they wanted almost $200 and their address is about a mile from my house. Dont walk RUN. I dont care how many good reviews they get. I no lonher believe any of these boiler people reviews.

Unethical, incompetent plumber and then a defensive supervisor when I called to relay the disastrous estimate experience,
