We had a water main break at our coop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The situation was dire and required prompt attention. If we were to wait long the pipe would burst and we would have a disaster on our hands. Several plumbing contractors gave us their estimates. Scott from Main Man gave us a competitive price AND promised to do the job on Sunday, earlier than the other contractors. Since time was of the essence we gave the job to MAIN MAN. They arrived that Sunday on time, did a great job, and finished ahead of schedule. I was impressed by the crew's professionalism and good manners. They left the place cleaner than they found it. Highly recommended.

My call was taken right away and he called me back immediately.  He couldn't come that day but arranged to come the next.  He arrived on time.  He had to snake out the pipe leading into the wall.  He was highly competent and professional but $290 for about  1/2 hour's labor and no parts seemed on the high side.

Great guy fixed our shower leak, and draining sink issues replaced whole fixture and declogged it dealt with unusual plumbing that was in place reversed hoses and other stuff. Also very nice and accommodating with a nice sense of humor. Experienced plumber which quickly knows what tools and products he needed to not waste time, and quickly solve the problem. Accepts credit cards things cost about $100-200 for labor.

Mike saved us from a potential disaster! We had a leaking water heater, and no prior experience with anything of this magnitude since we bought an older home. Not knowing who to call and being skeptical of someone taking advantage, we decided to call Mike at Austin Plumbing and Heating. He showed up ready to work right away. He was quick, efficient, professional, and fair. He educated us and wasted no time in getting our new water heater up and running. We highly recommend him. Don't hesitate and trust Mike!

Pete and James were respectful, punctual and efficient. I had an issue with my steam heat system and they came and diagnosed and fixed the problem under an hour. They provided an abundance of information while they were here. I will be using them again.

Waited for 4 hours. Guy showed up without calling - oh, the office was supposed to call you. Wanted to charge me $275 for a job that he said would be an hour but was probably less than half of that (with no parts cost - replacing an inner tank that I had on hand). Didn't seem to know what he was doing.

I have used Colin Lee for a number of plumbing issues in my apartment. He replaced a faucet in my bathtub and in my kitchen sink and he also fixed my toilet. Colin is very responsible, very responsive and great to work with. He gives an honest assessment and his prices are great. I highly recommend him.

The guy showed up without tools.. and after waisting 1.5 h of my time, he said that he didn't find any leak and wanted me to sign a waiver... the worst experience ever.. don't use them

He might be ok for basic projects but he was terrible for us.

First, the quality of the work was only so so at best. They were supposed to do things like sand and repaint the original shutters in our house and they did a pretty terrible job to the point where it may make more sense to just replace them.

Second, he spent a lot of time asking about a second, bigger job we had rather than focusing on doing good work on the first one. If he had spent more time on the first project, maybe we would have given him the second project.

Third, he lost the key to our back door and took away doorknobs we had bought. When we told him it was gone he said his workers never saw it and it wasn't him. Then we showed him photos that the key was there when they started and gone after they worked. Suddenly his workers remembered throwing it on the floor under a pile of bags and magically they found the doorknob, after arguing with us it couldn't be them.

Fourth, he never sent us back the contract that he was supposed to sign (or provide receipts) and then he decided he wanted more money so left on a Friday--taking all of his tools--when he was supposed to return on Monday. We didn't hear from him until Tuesday night when he started arguing with us about more money. He said he was working in New Jersey, but that's not our problem and he needs to at least tell us if he will not be coming back for several days.

If you want to end up on Yelp complaining about this guy or arguing with him in a public forum, feel free to try your luck. It wasn't worth my time.

These guys are terrific.  This is the third time I used them and I've been happy every time.  The first time they installed a number of radiators in my old apartment.  Two years ago the repaired a kitchen leak.

This time I had an old hot water heater that was on it's last legs and leaking downstairs to a neighbor's apartment.  They were quickly responsive on the phone and sent a team that same day to drain the old heater and stop the leak.  The next morning they arrived and efficiently installed the new heater.  It works great.

These guys are pros.

Extremely disappointing from a customer service 20yr veteran perspective, a woman owned Construction Co in NY and them being recommended from a Successful GC friend....

This was the best plumbing experience I've had in years. Oscar is smart, professional and timely. He got the job done at a very affordable price and didn't charge a visit/ inspection fee. Definitely recommend to all. He ran a snake for us and found the issue. Then he cleared it up and recommended other things we can do to save money.

I just purchased a home in North Brunswick and had major sewage issues, basement flooded the works. I literally called urgent drain and they were there that day. When the workers came they went right to work. They put the camera down my trap, snaked my line and hydro jetted it. It was hot and they was grinding. At the end before they left I found out that one of the guys that was out there grinding for like 4-5 hours was the Owner Rob. If the OWNER grinds like that, I know all his workers do. I highly recommend him. You get top quality service at fair and reasonable prices..

Terriable.  First of all they don't show up with the right tools.  He brought a drain cleaner that had nothing attached to the end of the cable - so how is he going clean out a sewage line with that?   They don't have an option to use a camera to look down the sewage line to see what the problem is and just assumed everthing is fine for whatever little work they did.  Total scam artists and complete waste of money.  Also super annoyed with calling us good people and saying how their reviews are great.  I'm sure most of these 5 star reviews aren't real customers but friends&family.

The plumber I received was extremely and unreasonably rude. Thought I should write a review about it. Tells me that he knows what he is doing and he in fact, did not. I needed 1 part replaced but he acted like it was life or death. I wouldn't use their service ever if I were you.
