We had a water main break at our coop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The situation was dire and required prompt attention. If we were to wait long the pipe would burst and we would have a disaster on our hands. Several plumbing contractors gave us their estimates. Scott from Main Man gave us a competitive price AND promised to do the job on Sunday, earlier than the other contractors. Since time was of the essence we gave the job to MAIN MAN. They arrived that Sunday on time, did a great job, and finished ahead of schedule. I was impressed by the crew's professionalism and good manners. They left the place cleaner than they found it. Highly recommended.

Star Cities only has one plumber, that is Robert. His price quotes are the highest and his troubleshooting inspections always result with replacing everything instead of correcting the problem that he caused.
I used him once, paid through the nose and will never call Star Cities again.

We hired Eddie and his team to install new three faucets, two shower heads, with fittings, and trim. They showed up on time, intelligently addressed problems in replacing the new fixtures, and did a beautiful job with the installation.  Their price was reasonable and Eddie is great to work with. The guy showed up without tools.. and after waisting 1.5 h of my time, he said that he didn't find any leak and wanted me to sign a waiver... the worst experience ever.. don't use them

I was very pleased with how quickly they were able to come to my home today - about two hours after I called to make an appointment. When it comes to water issues, time is always of the essence and I have never had a plumber show up so quickly.
The plumbers were extremely professional and friendly and fixed my broken sump pump in less than thirty minutes. They were also able to explain to me exactly what the issue was. I would be glad to use Irwin Friedman & Sons any time I need a plumber from here on out.

Very proffesional and was half the price of every other company  I called,  They came and took care of the backflow device the same day i called them and took care of all the paperwork as well.

One afternoon I was walking by and realize they sell Girl Scout cookies. Well, I don't need a single plumbing supply but  I was happy to find cookies. My basement was ruined due to the hurricane this fall.  Rasco was the first to save the day.  I hired them to install a Sump Pump and run the line to the street.  Their crew was very professional  and though my basement was trashed from the storm damage; I loved the fact they were almost apologetic about having to make holes in my ceiling to run new lines... Imagine that!!!  That gesture made me feel like they cared about my home as if it was their own.  Needless to say; the work was flawless and minimal holes were cut.  I'm beyond happy with their service and would hire them again for any future plumbing needs.

Not the cheapest but responsive.
They broke two of my sewer caps but what do you expect if it hasn't been touch for over 30 years.

I called Cheap John's yesterday late afternoon and Eric showed up today as promised.  We had a nice conversation, they have lots of experience and he worked in the pouring rain as the sewer line outside was clogged.  It was a little bit more then the $59.95 they advertise but well worth it.  Still cheaper then the ridiculous estimate from the other nationally advertised chain who wanted $495 for the SAME work and offered to go down to $395 if I pay cash.  Cheap John was less than half of that.

Really rude and unhelpful. Just needed one part and they were going to charge extra bs fees for handling. Do yourself a favor and buy exactly what you need online
