My father called Scott because of a notice left by city. Scott inspected the sewer line and assured my father that no work needed to be done. I appreciate Scott's honesty and highly recommend him.

Akeim is professional, knowledgeable and efficient.  When the kitchen faucet in my tenant apartment broke, from the pictures of the damage he was able to assess quickly that I needed to do a replacement instead of a repair and advised objectively on the type of faucet I should get.  Once obtained, he installed it quickly for a reasonable price.  I was very pleased with his work and look forward to working with him on future projects.

Robert  provides a consultative service - meaning, he doesn't just give you one answer to solve your issue. If there are options, he will lay out all your options and clearly delineate what's involved and when/why to go one route over another.  And he will also give you his honest opinion about what he thinks you should do even if it's the least costly. He quote fair prices and one is comfortable with his work and solutions.

Reason Robert doesn't get 5 stars is b/c when he seemingly gets busy, he doesn't return calls - even to say he can't take the work...which is what professional thing to do.  So while I was happy with work Robert did and his feedback was truly valuable when deciding on course of work and solutions.   What was disappointing was the follow up and eventual drop off when he got busy.

Amazing job done! Had a leaky pipe that needed to be fixed otherwise I would've had a pool in my basement. Went on yelp looking for a plumber and got a response right away with a very fair quote. He came to house the next day and had the job done extremely fast with no issues. I would highly recommend him if you need a plumber.

My hot water heater had a leak from both incoming and outgoing pipes and needed a help. Guillermo was very prompt and gave me clear information about the issue. He was able come 1 hr earlier than the scheduled time, fixed the problem in about an hour. Maximo team is highly recommended.

I would not recommend them. They came three times to fix a pipe and then a clog in the line. One week later the line is still clogged and water is all over the floor. I called them to come back. They did not respond.

I rarely leave reviews, yet I felt it important in this case so people get a balanced opinion. I hired Colin Lee for a plumbing job based solely on his 5 star reviews. I was extremely disappointed. I hired him to evaluate my kitchen drain as it was draining slowly. As reviews indicated, he is personable and wore shoe covers into my apartment, so I was already sold. He looked at my kitchen and bathroom sinks and snaked a small portion of the drain under my sink. When he did not clear the obstruction, he told me the blockage was well distant to my apartment (I live on the second floor of an old Brownstone). He said the problem was likely in the walls below my apartment or in the basement. As this was a job beyond his scope, he said I would need a larger plumbing company. He charged me $50 for his time and went on his way. I understood and initially thought this all seemed reasonable.

I then called a different plumber, who came the next day. I told the second plumber what Colin had said. The new plumber was certain it needed to be snaked and that Colin had not done an adequate job. The second plumber spent about an hour and thoroughly snaked my kitchen pipes. He cleared the obstruction and the water drains perfectly.

I then contacted Colin and let him know that my pipes just needed additional snaking and were now fine. I was hoping he would do the right thing and at least return my $50. Instead, he stuck to his original explanation. He said From my experience it seems like the issue I explained, and in my experience the issue generally returns in a week or 2 even if you think the clog is gone. It has been two weeks and my sink drains beautifully.

I assume Colin is OK for very simple jobs.....although, by plumbing standards, my job was relatively simple. If you have any job that is remotely complicated, look elsewhere.

My experience with Blaustein was the complete opposite of Phineas' (as has been the experience of two co-ops who've used Blaustein for years and recommended them).  B. responded immediately to my call and located a hard-to-reach leaking drainpipe that two previous plumbers had been unable to find.  Junior, the head doctor, had to cut away a lot of wood shims under the tub to see the culprit, then removed and replaced it in only two hours' work.  Decades of experience, total professionals, reasonable prices, and it's even a union shop, we understand.

I have been having a lot of trouble finding a reliable plumber / construction repairman.  Today I lucked out.  S & A Quality Pro Services did a fantastic job.  He showed up on time, did thorough and accurate work, replacing a bathroom faucet and fixing a major hole in the drywall.  I certainly will be calling him again for the many jobs in the building.  I highly recommend him.

Brandon Friedman has been very responsive and worked with my need every steps.  He is knowledgeable and prompt to fix my bathroom fixtures, replacing gas washer/ dryer unit and water heater.  He has been great to work with.  I would recommend him to anyone who needs skillful plumber to whatever your need.

Very proffesional and was half the price of every other company  I called,  They came and took care of the backflow device the same day i called them and took care of all the paperwork as well.

Appalling customer service even borderlining obnoxious for being busy I am just going to have to live with not having your business. Extremely disappointing from a customer service 20yr veteran perspective, a woman owned Construction Co in NY and them being recommended from a Successful GC friend....

Enrique from Racso Plumbing and Heating was very helpful. A few weeks ago we noticed there was a dripping in one of our copper pipes and major rusting. We didn't notice it before, but knew this was not a problem we wanted to wait. The next day Enrique came to consult and we found out instead of the pipes having to be replaced in a certain section, our water boilers had to be replaced too.

My husband found Racso Plumbing and Heating on Yelp. Told me it had great reviews and we wanted to give them a chance. Luckily we did. When Enrique went to open our old water boiler, there was so much rust in the water. Now imagine the same water we drink, shower, multiple uses - it was horrifying to know but so glad it was a problem solved.

Enrique and a few other staff members came to replace our water boiler, helped fix the water connection outside for us to have access to our hose in the backyard (the water line wasn't connected at first), have access to our front yard for water, and explained to us what was safe to keep certain things up to code which we didn't know before because previous owners did not do things correctly.

Racso Plumbing and Heating were responsive, found materials and worked on our situation for hours, and we look forward to reaching out again to Enrique. Friendly staff, all hardworking, and we appreciated the helpful advice for us to be safe and not think about an exploding water boiler. Thank you so much!

This morning we discovered our basement slop sink wasn't draining and I couldn't get to the clog. I called Rob due to the great reviews on yelp. He called me back almost immediately and he gave me what I thought was a reasonable quote and we agreed on a time when they would arrive.

Rob arrived when he said he would and was friendly and polite. Got to work right away and found the clog and after a little bit cleared the drain. We were chatting throughout and he gave me some tips on keeping the drains clean.

Best part was when it was time to settle up he asked for LESS then the original estimate that was quoted because it didn't take hm as long as he thought it would!!

That's the kind of honesty and integrity that you just don't see much these days and it was much appreciated. Rob told me I had a 90 day warranty and if their were any further issues they would return at no cost.

Terriable.  First of all they don't show up with the right tools.  He brought a drain cleaner that had nothing attached to the end of the cable - so how is he going clean out a sewage line with that?   They don't have an option to use a camera to look down the sewage line to see what the problem is and just assumed everthing is fine for whatever little work they did.  Total scam artists and complete waste of money.  Also super annoyed with calling us good people and saying how their reviews are great.  I'm sure most of these 5 star reviews aren't real customers but friends&family.

Really rude and unhelpful. Just needed one part and they were going to charge extra bs fees for handling. Do yourself a favor and buy exactly what you need online
