My father called Scott because of a notice left by city. Scott inspected the sewer line and assured my father that no work needed to be done. I appreciate Scott's honesty and highly recommend him.

Akeim is professional, knowledgeable and efficient.  When the kitchen faucet in my tenant apartment broke, from the pictures of the damage he was able to assess quickly that I needed to do a replacement instead of a repair and advised objectively on the type of faucet I should get.  Once obtained, he installed it quickly for a reasonable price.  I was very pleased with his work and look forward to working with him on future projects.

These guys are absolutely amazing.  Hands down the best experience I have ever had with any kind of contractor, anywhere, and I've used lots of them over the years.  The service and professionalism and communication and attention they provide are the kind you'd expect from the guy you know in a small town; I was so pleasantly surprised (shocked, actually) to find someone like this in Manhattan.  If you ever need plumbing work done, do yourself a favor and call these guys!  Seriously!

We found out that our shower was apparently leaking and causing some issues in the unit below us, so we needed a fix.  Since we hated our bathroom, we decided to gut the thing and start anew rather than trying to patch things up.  We spoke to an unbelievable number of contractors.  Many would make appointments to evaluate and give an estimate and never show up.  Those that did show up would give astronomical quotes.  I mean, this is New York, but come on, renovating a bathroom shouldn't eat up 25% of my take-home salary.

We saw an ad on TV for a site called HomeAdvisor, and Star Cities was one of the places they referred us to.  We emailed Star Cities and got a very prompt reply.  They set up an appointment and kept it.  They showed up on time (a few minutes early, actually) and took the time to explain what needed to be done clearly, assuring us that it was not as bad of a job as we thought.  We loved Robert, and waited for their quote.  The quote came quite quickly -- much more quickly than we expected -- and we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable it was.  Robert was the best plumber we'd met, and gave us a good and fair price.  Needless to say, we booked him to do the work.

They started the work just when they said they would (a few minutes early, actually).  Over the course of a couple of weeks (we did this around Thanksgiving), they completely changed our bathroom.  They tore out the tub, the walls around the tub, the toilet, and the floor, and installed a new tub (which was very hard to do I'm sure because we have a very weird and VERY tight space), a new shower body, new floors, painted the walls, installed a new toilet, and everything.  They even installed a new shower door.  The shower door wasn't part of the work order, but when we found one we liked, be bought it and brought it to the apartment.  We asked them to install it and told them we'd pay for the installation; they installed it and didn't charge us.  It was not an easy door to install (a weird Kohler barn door thing).

We were actually so impressed with the work they were doing, we decided to ask them to demolish an old closet and build a new one, as well as hang crown moulding around our entire apartment.  They gave us a good quote and worked with our budget.  The closet and the crown moulding are absolutely gorgeous.  We'd thought about using the handyman at the hardware store next door for that work, but he never gave us a quote, despite our constant reminders.  Robert, however, gave us a quote quickly, and did an amazing, amazing job.  I'm so glad we didn't go with someone else on the closet, because they gave us exactly what we wanted.  It looks so much better than we imagined.

After they finished the bathroom, we noticed a problem with the hot water (not enough water pressure).  I sent Robert a very panicked text late at night.  He promptly replied, showed up the next day, and fixed the issue.  Apparently some detritus got in a pipe.  I was very pleased with his follow-through.  Even though the job was done and he'd been paid, he made sure to promptly address the issue.

When it came time to get the final invoice there were no surprises.  The deal was we pay a 75% deposit.  The balance of the invoice was the other 25%.  No sneaking things in, no saying things got complicated, no nothing.  Straight up what we expected: we owed the last 25% that we didn't put down in the deposit.  Star Cities is honest, does quality work, and does the work for what they say they will (and on time).

These guys were such a pleasure to work with.  I hope I don't have any more plumbing issues that need fixing, but if I do, I know where I'll go.  If you need plumbing work done, call them!  You'll be thankful you did.

Eddie has and will remain my buildings plumber of choice. Nice guy, transparent and more importantly communicative. Last job was running late due to an issue with another customers job but called to update me on his time. Things happen, and making sure he didn't leave me hanging was the most important thing. Amazing job done! Had a leaky pipe that needed to be fixed otherwise I would've had a pool in my basement. Went on yelp looking for a plumber and got a response right away with a very fair quote. He came to house the next day and had the job done extremely fast with no issues. I would highly recommend him if you need a plumber.

Called this company for an emergency (heat stopped working). They came in 10 mins and was very professional. Did a great job and will definitely use them again. 5/5 stars

Terrible service!  Long story short, I waited almost 8 hours over the course of two days for the plumber to never show up.  Willie said he would be at my apartment between 1-2 and never showed up.  When I asked to ask when he thought he would be there, he repeatedly said he was just finishing another job up and would be there soon.  Finally at 6pm, I asked to reschedule.  He gave me this long guilt trip about how Friday is his day off, but he could come early in the morning.  Again, he never showed and claimed that he could be here in a few hours.  I totally understand that some jobs take longer than expected, but I took two days off work waiting for a guy to finish up another job and be right over.  Maybe the other plumbers who work for the company are fine, but my experience was terrible.

Honest plumber. Awesome guy, we've used him a few times. He put in our new garbage disposal, fixed leaks under the kitchen sink, fixed toilets, and the bathtub faucet. His prices are MORE THAN FAIR, esp. considering we previously had Fred Smith plumbers in here who charged us a fortune and did a shitty job.

We just always use Colin now for all plumbing stuff, and I gave my neighbor his number as well. Would definitely recommend.

We just had the best experience with Blaustein Plumbing. Their employee arrived in less than 2 hours from our call.  He was polite, articulate and knowledgable - even funny!  The issue with our in-sink disposal unit was diagnosed and repaired quickly.  I have told our management company not to use anyone else any more.

Samir was very communicative, quick response time and provided the required insurance paperwork etc. He did the job as promised at the agreed price. It was a scraping, plastering, priming, painting job. Very satisfied with it. I'd use him again for this type of work or for plumbing etc.

I found this company on Yelp on 6/22. They came the same day within 20 minutes, handled the problem I was having in no time and gave me a price. All within a span of no more than half an hour. Amazing! Howard, Brandon and Co., were all professional and polite. The reviews for this company are on point. They are who they say they are. I will definitely use their service in the future and will definitely recommend this company to others!!

Best supply house in queens . Almost always have what I need. Prices are very competitive with other supply houses . The help at the front counter is exceptional . Very knowledgeable staff . I don't go anywhere else but Dj plumbing supply . I'll go out of my way to get material there . Highly recommend using this supply house for plumbers and homeowners

With everything going on pandemic-wise, they were very communicative and responsive, making it easier to schedule an appointment. They showed up an diagnosed the issues very quick. Very professional and fast workers.

Good job. Service man came within 1 hour on a Sunday. Fixed the problem within 30 minutes. Gave good advice on how to avoid in the future and was on his way. $350 was in my range for this emergency situation. My line was clogged and caused flooding.  Very professional. I would use them again
