Main Man should be your first choice if faced with a large water main / sewer job.
We had the unfortunate pleasure of having a pipe break in the street, and as the home owner ,we were on the hook to repair.

After calling 4 contractors, we were quoted some outrageously high prices. 2 contractors flat out lied to me about the types of pipe I had in my home, trying to scare me into replacing pipes that were fine, but would pad the job .

Irwin from Main Man showed up and straight away debunked what the last contractor told me (I already knew I was lied to, but was impressed Irwin didn't perpetuate the lie - ( he could have to score himself a larger job)

He quoted me a price that was $2500. LOWER than the last guy, and was going to do it in 1/2 the time. I was skeptical, because his price was so reasonable, I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

But I was pleasantly surprised.

Irwin sat with me, and walked me through the contract, and really just made me feel at ease, in a time when I was besides myself because of the situation.

The next day Main Main's workers showed up, on time and in good spirits - They got to work promptly, and worked cleanly. In under 3 hours the job was done, and the workers assured me the final steps would be completed in a weeks time. 4 days later the final concrete was laid and I couldn't be happier.

Our toilet had a stoppage in the middle of the night. After consulting with multiple plumbers, Akeim of Sturks Sewer Works was able to clear the blockage and get the toilet back into functional order at a very reasonable rate. Thank you so much Akeim!

I checked a couple different plumbers regarding an issue. I selected these folks, since they offered a free estimate. I called repeatedly trying to make an appointment, and got nobody--and nobody called me back even though I left several voicemails. I finally got in touch with them today, the day I'd been trying to schedule them, and they weren't available until Wednesday and had an extra $150 fee they hadn't told me about before.

The phone tree for these folks is labyrinthine and leads me to believe this is a decentralized, disorganized company that's just trying to milk money out of people. I imagine that's why some reviews of them are very positive, and others are not. I'd recommend you go with a more forthcoming company.

Great guy fixed our shower leak, and draining sink issues replaced whole fixture and declogged it dealt with unusual plumbing that was in place reversed hoses and other stuff. Also very nice and accommodating with a nice sense of humor. Experienced plumber which quickly knows what tools and products he needed to not waste time, and quickly solve the problem. Accepts credit cards things cost about $100-200 for labor.

Mike from Austin Plumbing is great! called him at 8AM showed up promptly to help fix my heating pipe leak on a Sunday. Very detail oriented and made sure everything is okay. He seems very knowledgeable. Will definitely call him again for future plumbing needs. 5 stars

Very happy with the service from Platinum Plumbing.

The other day we had some issues and noticed some wetness/small puddles in the basement and wanted to get the situation looked at, called a few plumbers and many were busy, some gave crazy estimates, and then we landed on Platinum.

They came over promptly the next day, earlier than we said by a bit, and came in to look at the problem.

We discussed the history of our plumbing, he surveyed the area and troubleshooted what the problem could be.

Upon inspection noticed that the air vent had clogged solid, frozen, with TP and other buildup that needed to be cleaned out, so it was a quick and easy fix.

The job cost also was a standard base rate, affordable and appropriate for the work and expertise showcased.

My hot water heater had a leak from both incoming and outgoing pipes and needed a help. Guillermo was very prompt and gave me clear information about the issue. He was able come 1 hr earlier than the scheduled time, fixed the problem in about an hour. Maximo team is highly recommended.

Had a bolier issue and have been unhappy with the last, oh, ten plumbers we've used.   Asked around the neighborhood and everyone's response was Don't know, but if you find a good one give me their number!   I ended up getting Downtown's recommendation from a contractor who I trust, and my search is over. I was 80% sure  I didn't need anything replaced and they didn't try to throw expensive solutions out before they looked closely (been there too many times) or have even a hint of upsell during the call (ditto).  They knew what they were doing, solved the problem for a price I was happy to pay, and I was back in business.   Domenic has a great manner and is an excellent communicator.  Everything, from phone calls to figure when they could come to doing the job and filling me in on what I had going on was handled professionally and to the satisfaction of anyone's standards.  

Will definitely be using them from now on.

Would absolutely recommend Colin for your plumbing needs.  He showed up the same day I called him, just a couple of hours later, to fix 3 separate minor plumbing problems we were having in our apartment related to our kitchen sink and washer/dryer.  He was kind, polite, and explained everything clearly, which I appreciated.  Because of the pandemic he also wore a mask (properly over his nose, I would add) and shoe covers.  He worked quickly and had reasonable rates.  Highly recommend!

I recently had my Tudor home in New Jersey painted by S&A Quality Pro Services. I was impressed with the work and particularly the responsiveness of Samir, the owner. His guys came over promptly every morning and finished the job in less than a week, despite challenging weather conditions. I intend to use them for other home improvement projects in the future.

Very friendly family business. They were able to come same day in a pinch and followed up after fixing my heater to make sure we were satisfied with service.

There customer service is great, everyone is friendly. I would recommend this spot to any one in need of plumbing supplies. I was also told they sell Girl Scout Cookies so I had stopped by to buy some and it was very heart warming to see how the father was supporting his daughter.

We reached out to have a bbq natural gas line installed. Came on time to give us a quote and was very fair. Came in cheaper than all other quotes I received. While I don't believe cheaper is always better, their team did a super clean job of installing the gas line. They cleaned up and I have not had any issues ever since the line was installed more than 6+ months ago. My go-to plumber going forward.

Mekel came out to fix a clogged sink. We actually had another drain company come and they charged $300 to try and unblock our drain and they failed and recommended opening up walls to replace pipes. I called Urgent Drain for a second opinion and they were able to come out and fix the problem in about 30 minutes and make recommendations on how to avoid issues in the future. Urgent Drain is my go-to company for a clogged drain now!

Mike came threw and saved the day!! I had a main sewer line backed up with HARD grease and he knocked it right out. He was very professional, quick and courteous. Definitely a great guy and a awesome business! Prices were also super reasonable. Thanks again Guys! Definitely will be calling you guys again in the future!

The plumber I received was extremely and unreasonably rude. Thought I should write a review about it. Tells me that he knows what he is doing and he in fact, did not. I needed 1 part replaced but he acted like it was life or death. I wouldn't use their service ever if I were you.
