I HIGHLY recommend Main Man. We had a sprinkler company in to turn on our system. They broke the valve which turns the water off and on and then high tailed it out of here when they realized that the also couldn't locate the main water valve in the street to turn the water off. We called a few people and one company who has multiple yelp positive reviews said we would need to open up the street and change all the pipes as well as replacing the main pipe in the house. They said they would have to rip up our blue stone and would not be responsible for any damages. They also said it would take 2 days and cost nearly $14,000. We called Scott at Main Man and he called us immediately. He came in SAVED the day. He did his homework and knew exactly where the main outside valve was. He told us the pipes outside were fine and did not need replacing. He turned off the water, changed the inside pipe and was out of here in 4 hours for less then  half of what the other company quoted us. If you want someone who is super honest, fast and a PRO. . I had a leak in the basement from a broken pipe. Responded quickly to request for a quote. Showed up and did a great job for a fair price. Highly recommend to anyone in need of plumbing service

It was a basic leak. The hot water valve was broken. That's all. These guys tried to make it seem more complicated than it was. Told me they had to smash the wall and completely put in new components. Quoted me at $3150..give me a break. The free consultation is the trap they lay to get you to trust them...

Eddie and his team were excellent: prompt, professional, and knowledgeable!

Despite it being New Year's Day when I contacted Eddie, he responded in less than an hour and came out the next day to diagnose our problem (dead water heater). Since we opted to use him for the repair, Eddie did not charge us for the diagnostic fee. He is knowledgeable about the different water heater brands, and I feel confident with the product he recommended and installed.

For both the diagnostic visit and the repair, Eddie kept me updated via text on his estimated arrival time and was always punctual. The team installed the new water heater very quickly. The price was quoted up front, and there were no surprises when the work was completed.

In terms of COVID precautions - the team wore masks and gloves while they were in my apartment.

Austin Plumbing  broke my families plumbing and did not pay for the damages.  They were asked  to replace broken parts and  took no
responsibility for the damage they did. They were over 4 hours late and made a mess destroying the plumbing parts and fixture.

Pete and James were respectful, punctual and efficient. I had an issue with my steam heat system and they came and diagnosed and fixed the problem under an hour. They provided an abundance of information while they were here. I will be using them again.

We had Downtown P&H visit our apartment to fix an overflowing toilet tank. Their customer service was available in the middle of the night and coached us on how to temporarily solve the problem until the plumber could come in the morning. William called us at 8 am, just like the operator said he would, and showed up to fix the issue within an hour. He was efficient, friendly, and detail oriented. Not only did he fix our plumbing problem, but he CLEANED our entire bathroom area around the toilet and the sink, replaced our problematic toilet flushing lever without being prompted, as well as noticing our bathroom door handle was loose and tightening it. These guys are great. Would definitely be using Downtown P&H again and utilizing William's skills and excellent customer service.

Lucky I managed to get hold of Colin when some plumbing issues popped up in my place on a Friday afternoon. He came right over and identified the problem, suggested a solution and gave a guide price on fixing it up. He really explained what was required and how the original problem developed which is unusual as I think plumbers/electricians like to keep things as vague as possible - not with Colin.

In terms of the work it was completed promptly and slightly under budget (another huge plus & surprise!).

Colin is now my plumber guy and I'll be recommending him to friends / colleagues in the future

The guy showed up without tools.. and after waisting 1.5 h of my time, he said that he didn't find any leak and wanted me to sign a waiver... the worst experience ever.. don't use them

Samir was a pleasure to work with. I reached out to several contractors regarding a small project that most contractors would not even get back to me about because it wasn't worth their time. The scope of the project was removing the existing countertop, building a new custom cabinet for my appliance(the existing one was a custom 18 depth), installing new countertop and installing a new backing for the back of the island.

He was responsive, came to see the project and discuss the scope, gave me a price and was honest about pricing (he said he would have to mark up the countertop price if he ordered for me which is understandable)

Overall, I'm happy with the work for the price. I ordered a large countertop that had to come in two pieces due to the size and you can tell one of them is slightly not level. It's a minimal height difference but I can tell, doesn't take away from the renovation too much.

Very proffesional and was half the price of every other company  I called,  They came and took care of the backflow device the same day i called them and took care of all the paperwork as well.

Fast and quick!they cleared the first clog but they couldn't clear the main sewer line bcoz it needed some digging and they don't do digging!!

These guys rock! Definitly a Supply house for professional plumbers, but if you heed somthing done, you might meet one us there.
