I had an issue with a chandelier with a slightly unique design not operating properly. I found Titanium after reading their positive reviews, and I was not disappointed. They are extremely professional, courteous and responsive, all for good value. It took a few times but the issue was resolved, and Klod was very understanding and accommodative as we worked through the issue. He is very professional and runs a good operation.

I highly recommend anyone with an electrical issue to call them.

Rich was very responsive, easy to work with and delivered as promised. Price on par with competitors. Came on time, clean work would use again and recommend to others.

Awesome sauce! So Mickael is the boss; I communicated with him via telephone and then text, then a soft spoken young man named Eugene came to do the job. Both men were prompt to respond, got the job done well, professional, as promised and quoted, and they were flexible to my changing schedule without hiking up the price which I really appreciated. Eugene set up my new 'permanent air bed' by Habitat Furnishings, a 'knock off' sleep number bed. Even cooler was that Eugene asked if he could have my old mattress for a homeless guy he knew. I had tried giving it away for the last 2 weeks to no avail so that really made my day; it was just 22 months old and although it wasn't working for me anymore, I hated the idea it was about to go into the trash. Thank you gentlemen!

I cannot say enough good things about Mark, who came to my co-op today to diagnose and fix my ceiling fan, and really the whole team at NYC Electricians.

Anthony in the office was extremely nice during the whole appointment-making process, and he kept me updated when Mark was delayed by another project. Even though I told him that I work from home, he made a point of making sure I wasn't stuck in the apartment, wasting my time waiting.

Eventually, Mark came to my apartment, took the ceiling fan apart, stayed on hold with the lighting manufacturer to find out about parts while they transferred us from department to department, and then figured out what the problem was. He was friendly, informative, and considerate of my belongings and furniture throughout the entire process, and I felt extremely well taken care of.

We needed a new bulb, which I didn't have, so his colleague George drove me to the nearest hardware store so I could pick one up. Unfortunately, they didn't have the correct model (who knew there were so many kinds of halogen bulbs?). So Mark showed me what I needed, suggested where to shop for it, and then gave me his phone number so I could call with any questions when I got to the store. He provided service well above and beyond, and didn't charge me any more than the price I was quoted on the phone.  

I will DEFINITELY be using NYC Electricians again if I ever need electrical work, and would definitely recommend Mark in particular to anyone who asked.

Gastil was awesome.  I called on a Sunday evening, he came within an hour and was able to solve our problem of a ceiling fan whose light fixture no longer worked.  He was friendly, professional, pleasant, and completely respectful of the fact that we had a freshly-cleaned apartment and a sleeping baby.  I'll definitely use him again.

We are a property management company so we not only know the technical side of things to make sure that the work gets done properly but also we want the best.  We demand that the contractor is responsive, diligent, technically competent, and can respond to difficult problems.  John from JEM Lighting really impressed me with his work.

Don't let the name of the company fool you.  I had originally thought that this was simply a lighting specialist but he's an electrician by trade.  He can figure out all the electrical needs that you have.  He did for us.

I can tell you that there are a lot of terrible contractors out there.  When there presented with even a slight difficulty that's not normal, they don't know how to react.  But John, quickly pivoted and did the work quickly and at a fair price.

With John, the owner, you'll really find someone who's fair and won't take advantage of you.

I got a quick response and he came right out and was able to take care of the problem.  Very good and professional!

Here is an update to my original review.  I have written this as a reply to the business owner's response as Yelp does not appear to allow me to reply publicly to the business owner.  As a side note, I am considering lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding this incident.

Hitch, as I noted in my initial review, a civilized and normal response to a bounced/bad check should be to reach out to the person who cut the check in order to rectify the problem in a business-like fashion.  Why was I singled out to bear the burden of your mistrust of others?  As you say, you have encountered this issue before with other customers, some of whom I am sure were perfectly honest and were, like me, a victim of a misunderstanding.  Were you as duplicitous with them or did you make an exception for me thinking that I would just roll over and let this go?

You lied to my face about a problem with work that you performed.  You made me anxious about (i) the safety of the people staying in my apartment (which included a 2+ year old child), and (ii) the potential for property damage.  Hopefully you can see how twisted that is.  If not, then I feel sorry for you.

Sure, you do not have the time to wait for a few weeks for a check to clear or go to small claims court.  I understand that as I am a busy man too and I certainly did not have time to waste for you to come to my home under false pretenses.  Do you think that I have ample time to read through fine print that does not constitute a contract that I am (1) agreeing to, or (2) attaching my signature to?

If you were not comfortable with a check or if that was not your preferred payment method, you could have told me while we were conducting business in my home that Venmo, Paypal or credit card were alternative payment options.  The onus is on you (as the business owner) to inform me (your former client) of this.  Why was this not done?  Please do not rely on the fact that you sent me something in writing more than a month ago at this point.  We met face to face to settle payment when the work was done.  This could have easily been avoided if you spoke up.

More importantly, your first instinct should not have been to lie to me.  You have seen the building and the apartment I live in.  Does it look like it belongs to someone who (a) could not afford to pay your fee, or (b) would willfully and intentionally avoid payment for services rendered?  If you had even thought this through for a minute and reflected on our course of dealing, I do not think you would have approached this the way you did.

Lastly, I want to fully acknowledge the fact that you saved me significant cost with respect to my light fixtures.  Thank you for that.  However, I will also say this - cost was never an issue for me and I would have gladly hired you to do more extensive work if it was necessary.  What is important for me is that my home not be a fire hazard and that the lights function properly.  In addition, we agreed on a fee rate for the work done (in your words, let's get this down to the minute) and you wound up overcharging me for the work.  How is that fair or honest?  Again, please do not try to rely on a set of terms that we never agreed to for this work.  Especially when we had reached a hand shake deal on cost during our course of dealing.

I am sorry that things have turned out this way as well, but I have not done anything unconscionable, unethical or dishonest here.  Sadly, I cannot say the same for you.

Danny was extremely prompt and professional replacing my 3 way switches in the kitchen for my high hat lights.
The price was very reasonable and included 2 switches plus labor.
I would definitely recommend hiring him for any electric work needed in a house.

They helped me figure out the problem I was trying to solve quickly, and it saved me unnecessary costs. I appreciated their quick responsiveness and competence.

We had a 11.30pm emergency where we lost all power. Erick came out in 45 min and got us back and running. He was honest and kept us calm. He sourced a hard to find part the next day and installed the part within 30min. We couldn't thank him more and will now use him for all our electrical needs. Would recommend to anyone! Yoni and his crew are precise, to the point, professional working electricians. I called him at 3 he was at my home at 4. I lost power on my 2nd fl and he told me I had to run a new line, gave me a reasonable price. Yoni completed the job within a few hours and also cleaned up after himself. I cannot thank Yoni enough for the quick work he did. I will most definitely be giving him a call when I need any electrical work done in my home.

We needed an out of date electrical panel replaced for our house.  Ilya and his partners stopped by to take a look, shortly gave us a reasonable quote afterwards.  We scheduled a day for the work to be done and it was completed within a few hours. They went around the house making sure all the outlets and lights worked.

Through it all communication was great and they were punctual.

Very fast response, arrived within two hours of us leaving them a message.  The electricians were polite and professional, they were able to figure out right away what the issue we were having was and talked me through what they were doing to fix it. Then had me run the appliance to make sure everything was working properly. I will be using them for my future electrical needs.

Sergey was great! He gave me 2 quotes online, one for the electrical work I needed done and 1 for the plumbing work. He showed up on time and completed the electrical work successfully, and he also explained what he was doing. I appreciated learning more about GFCI outlets. He worked on the plumbing but wasn't able to repair my tub drain lever or my shower diverter. He didn't charge me for the plumbing since he wasn't able to fix it. I appreciate his honesty ! Highly recommend him as an electrician if you have any electrical work that needs to be done.

Needed help installing two 3-way light switches that kept tripping the breaker. Avi was able to come within a day. He diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed the issue. He explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend his services! Thank you, Avi!

Had a great experience with Cooper Electrical Services. Needed additional light switches installed. Seems simple but several other electricians failed to even return my call. Roman answered immediately and set up installation for the next day at a time of my convenience. The work was done quickly and efficiently by Victor and the price was reasonable. Extremely satisfied.
