Satisfied customer! Very quick to respond for a quote (less than an hour). Electrician showed up on time and installed 2 chandeliers in about 2 hours. Did not rush us and let us test out different chandelier heights many times. Cost was in line with other quotes we received. Would use again!

Klodian was amazing from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive, on time, and very kind and easy to work with. When it comes to housework, I've come to realize that nothing is as simple as it seems, and that was definitely the case with our job--what seemed like a simple 220v installation ended up being a 2-part job. Klodian never got frustrated or took shortcuts, instead he took his time to do the job right when there were many opportunities to do it faster that we would have ended up paying for in the long-run. On top of all of that, his pricing was reasonable from the get-go. I will definitely be back in touch for more projects!

Showed up at the appointed time and diagnosed a difficult problem immediately.  The repair was swift and efficient and he cleaned up the area nicely.  Very fair price for the work.  I've tried several electricians that serve this neighborhood and this guy is the best.

I cannot say enough good things about Mark, who came to my co-op today to diagnose and fix my ceiling fan, and really the whole team at NYC Electricians.

Anthony in the office was extremely nice during the whole appointment-making process, and he kept me updated when Mark was delayed by another project. Even though I told him that I work from home, he made a point of making sure I wasn't stuck in the apartment, wasting my time waiting.

Eventually, Mark came to my apartment, took the ceiling fan apart, stayed on hold with the lighting manufacturer to find out about parts while they transferred us from department to department, and then figured out what the problem was. He was friendly, informative, and considerate of my belongings and furniture throughout the entire process, and I felt extremely well taken care of.

We needed a new bulb, which I didn't have, so his colleague George drove me to the nearest hardware store so I could pick one up. Unfortunately, they didn't have the correct model (who knew there were so many kinds of halogen bulbs?). So Mark showed me what I needed, suggested where to shop for it, and then gave me his phone number so I could call with any questions when I got to the store. He provided service well above and beyond, and didn't charge me any more than the price I was quoted on the phone.  

I will DEFINITELY be using NYC Electricians again if I ever need electrical work, and would definitely recommend Mark in particular to anyone who asked.

Gasteon, the electrician, was there when he said he'd be and worked hard to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction.

He also gave me a 15% discount for finding him through the website.

Decreasing the amount of time necessary for the installation, 3 hrs, would have earned a 5th star but I'm happy enough to go back and employ his services for future jobs.

John is the best. Very professional, competitive rates, and he got the job done quickly and efficiently. Wore a mask and distanced as well. Definitely recommend!

Incredibly overpriced. Do your research before hiring. I did. Found places charging 1/4 of what they wanted for the same repairs.

The other reviews must be faked because there is no way in hell their estimates are reasonable. If you don't believe me, research prices.

Full disclosure: I didn't actually hire Mike.

I called him because there were sounds coming from my fuse box and Mike seemed to have good reviews. It was the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend so I asked if he was working and he said he was out of town, but asked me what was wrong. He then stayed on the phone with me for about 10 minutes guiding me through steps I could follow to try to fix the problem. Those steps worked. He also asked I text him back to let him know if things didn't improve.

I much appreciate Mike's kindness and clearly, aptitude. I will not hesitate to call him again for any electrical issues.

Great guys and great work. They came by and gave us a free estimate about two months ago. The estimate took about an hour and no charge. They were upfront about scheduling right now because they are very busy but said they would squeeze in an hour here and there to get it done. Between 2 visits, it took an hour and a half and the work was completed. Great pricing and great work. I'm so happy! No damage done at all in the process due to the care that was taken with rewiring. Would definitely recommend!

Came same day to repair breakers, was fast and responsive. Chris did a great job and I will hire him again!

Didn't come when scheduled or call to tell my he'd be late. I had to call him to find out where he was and he said he could come later. When he did come I had him change three lighting fixtures. He charged me $90 for each one. One of them didn't work but he charged me anyway and was going to leave me with no light there until I told him that I needed some sort of light in that room so he reattached a part from an old fixture there so I have a bulb and wires hanging out of the ceiling. Left parts of fixtures, plaster, and electrical parts everywhere. Got plaster all over my new couch. He said he'd come back and put up the new fixture when I get a replacement but I'm afraid he'll get plaster and parts everywhere so I'm going to have to go with someone else. What a waste of money.

Blown away with how easy and convenient it was to work with Yoni and Danik.  I have been trying to find a reliable electrician to do a few things around our apartment and it wasn't easy.  I called Danik, left a message and was able to receive a call back later that day.  I needed our halogen can lights changed to LED and also wanted to move our HVAC thermostat to a different part of the wall (it was in the middle of a wall).  Yoni came on a Sunday to test out the LED lights and came back later in the week to finish all the work.  He was very knowledgeable and puts safety first.  Hire this guy.

I hired Ilya llin to upgrade the electrical circuit breaker for my home.  The job was done by Mike--  he had previously also worked to upgrade a set of light fixtures for my home which he did a great job. Since he did a great job with the light fixtures, I decided to hire them for the circuit breaker job.

The circuit breaker was replaced in February 2020, its been 4 months and so far so good. The job was done efficiently, and completed in under 5 hours. Pricing was fair and well worth the price.  Overall, I am very impressed by the work. Highly recommended.

Don is very reasonable and does great work. He was quick to respond and was thorough in his proposal. When completing the work, he was timely and detail oriented, also creative with solutions that solve for what I was trying to accomplish. One flood light turned out to be a lemon and unfortunately it was in the most hard to reach place at my house. However, he came back and handled the replacement with no issue. I would certainly recommend Don to friends and family.

Found Eugene here on Yelp. Set up my appointment over Yelp messaging, super easy and he was immediately responsive. He showed up exactly at the agreed time, and installed my ceiling fan perfectly. I will be calling this guy for work around my house all the time now.

Avi is a lifesaver. His team was originally only available the following week. But when I told him I needed the light fixed in the kitchen of my elderly parents, he fit me in after a cancellation within a few hours of talking to him. Very reasonably priced. Came with 2 men to handle the kitchen light and ceiling fan installation to save on time.  Arrived on time. Very pleasant and understanding on the phone.

What wonderful things can't I say about Katie?! So prompt and efficient and got right down to business! We had a great chat with her while she took care of our very old and falling apart sofa. She gave us options as to what she could do to fix the problem, including any additional costs or time frame. She has a plethora of skills and I'm eager to utilize her skills again with other home repair projects. She is comfortable and friendly but wonderfully professional and quick too. Her skill set is very advanced and I trust her willingness and ability to attempt any repair, or give you her honest opinion as to what will/won't work. I would recommend her to anyone and it is honestly refreshing to have a wonderfully talented woman completing these tasks in our home. We'll see you soon Katie!

I called Cooper Electrical Services because of the great reviews on here.  Roman made an appointment for a week later, which was his first available.  On the day of, I made sure my schedule was clear in case he came early or it took longer than expected... and nobody showed up.  I called about 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to make sure they were coming, since I hadn't heard from them, and they said they couldn't make it.  Now, I'm a reasonable person, so I said fine, when can you come... and he said not for another week!  I'm sorry but if you don't show for an appointment, you make sure you get there in the next 24-48 hours.  All I need is 1 chandelier and 1 fan installed.  I'm extremely disappointed, and will be calling someone else who will be reliable.
