Best Electricians in New York

I could not be more pleased with these guys. We are moving into a new home and needed some last minute electrical things done - I wanted it done quickly if at all possible so that we could finish painting before moving in. Moe squeezed me in for the very next day - he said it will have to be early  but that he would make it happen.  And he did. Randy and his team were there ready to to work at 7:30am!

Randy led the team and he was not only patient with my indecisiveness, but he also made sure to walk me through everything without my even asking. He was such a pleasure to have there and he ran a perfect job. They barely left any holes in the wall. Will be really easy to patch and paint now.

And with extra lighting to boot, of course. :)

Electrical work is a magic as far as I'm concerned. Randy is a magician, a wizard even. Straight up.

Klod, Ben and their team did a fantastic job on addressing a variety of electrical issues in an old single family home with some very unique wiring.

Over the course of multiple visits, they diagnosed the issues and scheduled repairs for multiple jobs - all of which were done with professionalism, respect for the homeowner and house, and of course impressive expertise in identifying some unusual problems.

Communication with their staff was always easy and prompt and they helped make a stressful electrical situation much less of a disruption to our normal lives.

We would recommend them to anyone in the Brooklyn or Queens area - true professionals at the top of their game!

Richie responded very quickly and came out to my house within the same day (huge deal especially since it is a holiday weekend). He instantly figured out why my 2nd floor wasn't receiving any power while the rest of the house was fine. He is very reasonable, professional and good natured.

Found Mickhael here on yelp. He replaced my light fixture with a new chandelier. He's efficient, got the job done. Reasonable price. He's respectful. Would recommend.

Ralph serviced my apartment on Friday. He was on time, explained everything (and showed me) and fixed it all. He was a nice guy! Also gave me many recommends.

Only downfall I had is their shoty answering service and subpar scheduling. I only ever got a live person once, and when I did I was asked to request a date n time of service via email instead. No call back either. I had to call again for me to finally get someone on Thursday. Mind you, I needed a Friday appointment! Not cool For someone with a busy schedule like me. this was cutting it TOO close.

Other than that, Ralph was ace!

They were very good at doing their job. Professional, friendly and helpful. I recommend this company. They came the same day I called them and charged a reasonable fee for the task.

John picked up and installed two dimmer switches in my apartment according to my specifications.
He also had the foresight to identify my current lightbulbs as non-dimmable and brought me all new bulbs.
John is extremely efficient and knowledgeable, 100% would recommend.

I hired G & R electrical over the summer to install recessed lighting in my 2 BR condo. Ganish came over for an estimate on the same day I called him. He gave me a reasonable estimate. Ganish and his crew showed up early and got to work from minute one.  I had a timely deadline and he accommodated by bringing more men to help out. True professional. Highly recommended.

Hitch is extremely honest, trustworthy and professional. He is very knowledgeable and completed a major electrical panel replacement over evenings and weekends to accommodate my schedule. He kept me informed throughout the process and educated on the work he was doing. I recommend him for any electrical work, big job or small.

Danny was a pleasure to work with! He responded to my inquiry immediately and was flexible with our schedule. He brought all that was needed, swapped out a new light fixture and was ready to address any additional issues (gaps, new switches, etc.) and installed a dimmer switch seamlessly. Did the entire job in less than 40 mins, and the icing on the cake was how kind he was to my large, loud, but lovely pup. We will definitely call on Danny for our needs moving forward. Thank you!!

They helped me figure out the problem I was trying to solve quickly, and it saved me unnecessary costs. I appreciated their quick responsiveness and competence.

I called Erick about an important safety issue at our building in Williamsburg.  He was able to come the same day, get Con Ed there the next day and make the repair the day after that.  All at a reasonable price and with a smile.

Scott was very communicative and able to come out on short notice, no hoops to jump through. He saw the job through until it was totally fixed and remained available and responsive during a small hiccup with the project.

Would definitely recommend.

Toni is a real professional and he knew exactly what he is doing. On time i had  problem with electric outlets in my house, he thorougly check for the cause and quickly resolved the issue without overcharging. Really nice work and highly recommend them!

Update: We just had Ilya's partner Michael over to fix a broken light (it turned out to be both a faulty dimmer and a blown transformer), and he was just as much of a professional as Ilya. He showed up early and got the job done with no drama in a minimal amount of time. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

I usually don't take time to write reviews, but I had such an amazing experience again with DLP Electric,  I had to do what was deserving. I needed to upgrade my basement lighting. Not only did Don come up and design what I needed, he did a total install that was a big job. I have used this company multiple times, and they have come through with such professionalism.  I know there are many choices out there, but as long as this company is in business, they will be my goto for any electrical needs. As for the cost, just what was quoted. The fact that they  are licensed and insured, and providing great service at fair reasonable prices is enough for me to keep coming back. Arrived at the exact time scheduled and installed my new AC quickly and efficiently. My second time using this service for handy work. Great communication and pricing.

He was friendly over the phone, and gave me a reasonably priced quote for my problem (I needed a hard line to my old dishwasher replaced with a traditional socket). His price was significantly lower than the other electricians I called for quotes. He showed up the next day and was courteous and professional, and quickly installed the socket. He even explained to me what he was doing when I asked.

Had a great experience with Cooper Electrical Services. Needed additional light switches installed. Seems simple but several other electricians failed to even return my call. Roman answered immediately and set up installation for the next day at a time of my convenience. The work was done quickly and efficiently by Victor and the price was reasonable. Extremely satisfied.
