Best Electricians in New York

They were very responsive when I contacted them via Yelp, though I was hoping for an estimate via email vs just a reply asking that I call to speak to them.  They were able to send someone to take a look at my issues (a set of track lights had ceased working + I wanted to mount new lamp heads to a different track).  The electrician who came (Fabian) seemed to know what he was doing and was pleasant to work with - though was an hour late for that first visit (said there was a lot of traffic) which was frustrating as I'd re-arranged my meetings to be home at 9am.  He diagnosed the issue and let me know that Moe could order the replacement dimmer switches that I needed (rated for halogen) and that he'd come back to install them.  He did come back two days later (was on time) and replaced two dimmer switches and mounted the additional lamps I'd purchased to track in a different room.  All in all I was satisfied.  I thought it was relatively expensive but I don't have experience with other electricians to compare.

Klodian did my tesla model 3 nema 14-50 outlet in my parking at home. He did an excellent job. He was punctual and did the work perfectly. He gave me the best price without giving me a run around. I highly recommend Titanium electrical for his service.

Half our power went out after a winter storm. I called Rich on a Sunday to request emergency service since I have twin babies and the space heater in our living room was nonfunctional as well as the fridge.  Rich came over himself within two hours; while the issue was with ConEd, he hooked up our fridge so it was running and placed a ticket with ConEd to fix the power issue.  He was extremely professional, friendly, and easy to work with.  In the past, I've spent hours waiting for HVAC people and plumbers who finally arrive way past the appointed time and require multiple calls on my part. Our building had called another electrician (at the same time I called Rich) who finally turned up about two hours after Rich left.  I can't overemphasize enough how difficult professionalism and reliability is to find in this city!  Rich took a lot of anxiety out of the situation and I was able to spend a pleasant day with my babies with minimal interruption.  Highly recommend.

Update;  he called me a week or so later, explaining that his phone had died and he had lost the number.  Appreciated his effort to clear up this matter.

Really great service. Mark came by and diagnosed the problem, and then returned with all of the supplies and components that he needed.  Friendly, competent and professional.  No complaints here!  Thanks guys!

Can't say enough. Came in to install kitchen cabinet lights and went through a few diff. Options on how to get it done. We decided on a way I was comfortable with. Would call on again. On time, professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

I gave them 4 stars because we did not have the work done, but I'm pretty certain they will get 5 stars when we are able to have the job completed.

Master electrician Mike Sparky Hitchingham is one of a rare breed these days.  He loves what he does and takes pride in his work in the manner of 'old world' craftsmen.  First, Mike tried to 'talk me through' an electrical solution on the phone that would have made his service call unnecessary.  Wow!  When that phone coaching proved too difficult, he promptly came up and solved an ongoing electrical problem that we've had for years.  If you like to be hands on, Sparky is your man.  He will put you to work (that's optional!) and teach you what he's doing so you can be an electrician's apprentice!  He will curse out your previous electrician and tell you what a lousy job they did and why.  He will correct the problem and predict what is likely to fail in the future so it can be prevented.  Oh, and did I mention this was on a Sunday??  So, yeah, I have become a Sparky Hitchingham fan.  But don't make him so busy that I can't get him the next time I need him!

Danny was extremely prompt and professional replacing my 3 way switches in the kitchen for my high hat lights.
The price was very reasonable and included 2 switches plus labor.
I would definitely recommend hiring him for any electric work needed in a house.

This guy is incredibly unprofessional and likely hoping you are uninformed so he can overcharge you. I called him asking for a quote - he then called me back, and I asked where he was calling from. He refused to answer the question and asked if I was getting other quotes as well. I said yes, obviously, as everyone should be - and then he abruptly hung up. He then did not answer any of my calls. The positive reviews, I'm guessing, are not real.

First off when you deal with CEL Electric, you're dealing with the owner of the company not just another employee. Scott has done several projects in our 120 year old brownstone and these are not simple or straightforward jobs. The building's wiring is original and needs to be handled with great care and that's exactly what we've experienced on each job he handled for us. His electrical work is first-rate and he is meticulous working with outlets and switches on old, dry plaster walls and fans on ornate ceilings and that's something often overlooked with electricians. Each and every time I've called, he's been super responsive and we've had no qualms with his quotes. No reason to even think about using anyone else and that's a great feeling.

With weather reaching well into the 90's, we needed two air conditioners installed.  It was quoted at $280, and we were elated that they could help us immediately.  We had their services on a recent Monday morning at 10 am.  Thankfully, they arrived promptly and even removed their shoes to not ruin our new carpet which was very considerate.  We were happy with the time efficiency and the quality of service.  In addition, we were able to acquire cost estimates for future jobs which was great.  I found the two gentlemen to be very professional and told them I heard of them through Yelp after seeing all the strong reviews.  Mr. Ilya and his friend were strongly experienced in fixing the double tapping wires by inserting twin breakers.  They also assisted us by correcting some problems that we found in the inspection of the place a few months ago.  I should mention that they were also able to come over later that afternoon around 2 pm to fix further issues regarding the light dimmer and grounding an outlet. Overall, I would say it was an awesome experience, and I would highly recommend their services to others.

Don did an amazing job installing several new circuits, light fixtures, and dimmer switches for our house.  Very professional, and prompt on responses and quotes.  Highly recommend DLP Electric and will use again.

The extension hose for our kitchen sink became damaged over time so it needed to be repaired or the entire faucet replaced. After checking Yelp reviews I chose Zabivey Handyman. During our initial call Eugene suggested that I purchase a replacement faucet and have it ready for him when he arrived. We scheduled an appointment the next day and I was quoted a fair price. Eugene showed up on time, worked quickly (even with an extra complication), left no mess for me to clean up, and did the job expertly.

My only suggestion is for him to answer his calls more profesionally. Hello, this is Eugene at Zabivey Handyman. How may I help you? or something to that effect because Hi! or Yes? is very off-putting - I should know who has picked up the phone so that I'm sure I didn't dial a wrong number.

I got up this morning to find that my power was out. I frantically contacted several electricians for help, and electrific actually helped me restore my power. My power was restored within 30 mins of contacting electrific. I will definitely use their services in the future.

Can't say enough good stuff about this one! Graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a design degree and can make just about anything! She hung lighting and pictures for me  added some dimmers so the ambiance was just right. Katie gave me great advice on several areas of my home and brought all of the ideas to life. She can do it all!
