Best Electricians in New York

I filled out a request for an electrician on Yelp, and Moe from Electrician Techs answered right away.  Not only that, but he was able to continuously keep in contact with me via text over the next few hours as we hammered out the details.  

After I accepted his very reasonable estimate, Moe worked with me until about 10:00 pm to get all the paperwork and insurance ready for our very demanding coop management company.  Our previous contractor simply said I can't take this job after 2 weeks of back and forth with the language of the insurance and various other demands set by management.  

We got Steve as the on-site electrician.  He was very professional and did an excellent job on installing our recessed lighting and chandelier.  Got it all done within the allotted time.  He tried to keep as much debris off the floor as he could.  Makes clean up a bit easier for me.  

So now we can clean up, paint, and go on with life.  And hopefully not have to deal with our management company again any time soon.

I have nothing but praise about my experience with Titanium Electrical moving a junction  box and installing a chandelier in my living room. Starting from when I first reached out on  Yelp for an estimate, they were extremely responsive - even willing to talk on a Sunday to answer my question and get more details on the job so they could provide an accurate quote . They also responded immediately to my follow up texts.
Day of went extremely well and the team was great at making adjustments on the spot to adjust for some unknowns that came up that pictures alone could not reveal. They are even coming out next week to make a small tweak (completely my fault as they asked me about it onsite and I changed my mind after the fact). I'm extremely particular and they exceeded all expectations even cleaning up after themselves and wearing masks and shoe covers throughout. I highly recommend

Rich is a true professional and overall great guy. He was able to take care of my semi split connection and fix an ongoing issue I had with my electrical stove without charging exaggerated fees.  Rich is definitely the licensed professional you want in this city and I highly recommend him.

Excellent experience with Mickhael. He fixed a electricity related problem I had for over a year because other two electricians I tried could not. He was also organized, pleasant to deal with and very professional.

Mustafa Ali was polite, professional, and couldn't be more efficient of an electrician.  Call him directly for his awesomeness: 917-359-3624!  I blew a breaker which called him randomly off of Yelp.  He  was here in less than an hour, gave me a $150 first hour rate to trouble shoot and fix over the phone.  He fixed the breaker in the box, switched out broken outlets, and a dimmer and was completed under an hour.

this happened last night, july 2nd. at 11 pm on the saturday before 4th of july. we went out all day, came home. 10 minutes later, power went out but only for our apartment. my gf is on dialysis, so her equipment needs power to function. by the time i got access to the basement, it was well after midnight. found gaston on yelp, he picked up almost immediately and in under 1 hour he was here. fixed the problem quickly, helped us out TREMENDOUSLY. if gaston had not been available we would have been in a terrible situation. after midnight on a holiday weekend? only a good hearted soul would come through in a time of need like this, saved us a hotel stay, an entire refrigerator's worth of food, plus difficulties with dialysis!!

John was on time not only fixed my chandler ,tested light fixture , did some rewiring put a new dimmer the wall in and hung the fixture for me.  My Tenent an I was so happy with his work I would definitely call him again ! The price was right the service was great !

Mike's a solid guy. Tried to help me fix the problem over the phone First so he wouldn't have to come over and have to charge me the emergency price. I thought it would be safer getting it properly checked out and the price was worth the piece of mind. You shouldn't mess with electrical issues yourself! Leave it to the professionals.

Danny has stellar customer service and while he was unable to fix my issue due to his license being valid in NY and I live in NJ he was still willing to offer a long and very informative explanation on my issue. Not too many ppl are willing to help without any financial benefit.

I am certain that if Danny was licensed in my state that I would hire him in a heartbreak.

Quick to respond and set up time with me! I needed a burned out outlet replaced and they came by a day or two later. Pricing was slightly higher than with others I reached out to but not too much. Would work with them again. Thanks!

How incredible to find an honest and professional electrician.  My overhead lights blew and tripped the breaker.  After flipping the circuit back on they still wouldnt work. Called at 7pm and mike came by 830.  Diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue for the price quoted. In addition he fixed a non working fixture and replaced a light switch cover that was giving me problems.  Highly reccomend.

We bought a 2 family home in Brooklyn and Cel Electric installed new electrical service for the entire house. Very happy with the service.. will definitely recommend and use them for all my future needs. Will rate them 10 out of 10.

I was debating between a 4 and a 5 since I have no one to compare them to.
I called today ( a Sunday) to make a Monday appt. I was so excited when Yoni and his partner said they could be at my house within 20 min and no weekend emergency fees. That was a HUGE plus for me already. They arrived and quickly assessed the problem. I have children and had water leaking through, from outside, an electrical outlet. For 20 years I thought it was a dead outlet. I heard a clicking sound coming from the box and realized there was a live wire in the box. I was beside myself. I was so fearful of having an electrical fire. Yoni took care of the problem and also told me that my electrical breaker box should be changed because the house was so old. There was NO pressure. He just informed me of things he had noticed and offered suggestions. His prices seem really fair and I definitely liked that he was not pushy.  I had no idea who to call and read YELP reviews. I'm not very trusting and always feel I may be getting ripped off. I usually get several estimates. I actually feel confident enough, from just this experience, to recommend Danik to friends. Finally, I have found someone....in the event I need an electrician again.

As opposed to New York City Electricians, we didn't have to pay a minimum charge before they came to our downtown Manhattan apartment. Ilya answered the phone on my first call, asked for some photos of the problem(blown out track lights) and gave me a quote within a few minutes, which was much more reasonable($100 less) compared to the minimum charged by the  New York City Electricians. Ilya came that same day(I had a time crunch) on time and performed the work professionally, quickly and additionally added a light fixture outlet for no extra charge.

Don did an amazing job installing several new circuits, light fixtures, and dimmer switches for our house.  Very professional, and prompt on responses and quotes.  Highly recommend DLP Electric and will use again.

Eugene promptly called me to let me know when he'd arrive.  He is a pleasant person, who is less talkative (which is great)!  He got straight to work and finished up a few things relatively quickly.  He was so fast that my friend came in and gave him another job same day.  He will be my go to for handy work moving forward.

Lights in house were flickering, completely shutting off and on. Called in the morning and received a helpful tech within a few hours. Was able to change a switch and figured out what was causing the flickering. Nothing on our end and more of ConEdison, but they helped get in contact with ConEdison to make sure a service ticket was in place and on their way. Thanks again!

Katie is a gem. I needed curtains installed in my bedroom, which required someone to stand on my bed. This task felt very personal, and as a woman, I felt more comfortable having a fellow woman get the job done. I was running a bit late, and Katie was graciously flexible and understanding. She installed the curtains in 30 minutes, maybe even less time!? She was super professional and down to earth. You can just really tell that she's a genuinely good soul and wants to support her clients in the most authentic and professional way. I really appreciated Katie's handiwork and I can safely say that blackout curtains were an excellent investment. Support women-owned businesses!

Roman came yesterday afternoon after I called him in the morning. He and his assistant Jason stayed until evening when the job was done and did an amazing job! We had a pendant light installed (in a new location) and 5 other fixtures changed out. They did a great job and vacuumed up everything at the end and took out all of the trash and boxes that accumulated from the install. Roman is incredibly personable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone who has electrical work to be done.
