Klod was extremely professional and went out of the way to get the job done. He arrived on time, was friendly and knew his job really well. He installed an electric vehicle charger and the home security system, both of which were done perfectly. Since then, I have contacted him for 3 other jobs and all of them have been completed flawlessly. Highly recommend!

Called Rich yesterday on an electrical issue.  He came out the next day.  He was able to resolve my issue on the spot.  He also accepts credit card which is really handy.  I will be using him again.

AMAZING JOB! - I had an apt booked for Friday (2 days from now)  to help with lighting and bulbs and transformers,  they called and said they had someone in the area who could come today - His name is Ralph and he ROCKS! - knew exactly what had to be done, gave great suggestions, and even went over and above to check circuit breakers as he noticed some burnt wires, turns out I need a bigger circuit box as mine is overloaded - I will be using New York City Electricians from now on.. Excellent job, kind and super helpful! THANK YOU RALPH - We really appreciate it!!

Gaston is reliable and efficient.  Today we blew a fuse when we were installing a new dimmer in the bathroom. He came within an hour as he promised even on a Sunday and figured out what the problem was and fixed it pretty quickly. I couldn't ask for better service. He is also available 24 hours 7 days a week. Use him especially if you are in south Brooklyn since he is located on Smith Street.

I went on Angi to find someone to install a ground fault outlet, as it didn't work when I installed it.  Ganesh called at 3:00 to say they had a guy, Omish, in Manhattan that day, and he would be coming that afternoon. At 3:43 he was at the front door of the building, and called to ask what apartment we were in. He was very pleasant, and unscrewed the wires to the outlet box, replaced them with wires he had with him, installed the outlet box that I had purchased, and was done in 15 minutes. He did not give me an estimate before he did the work. He computed the cost, and told me it would be $336.00 if I paid in cash, because there would be no tax, and if I paid with a credit card, he would have to add tax and a 5% surcharge for the credit card. At 4:09, I was at the ATM around the corner, getting cash to pay him --$340.00 because he didn't have any change. He said he would email me the receipt. He did not. I called the office twice over the week to request a receipt. It never came, and I felt I was ripped off.

Mike rewired a small commercial space for me after I took down some drywall leaving tons of exposed conduit. The project took longer than I had expected but his work was thorough. Mike has a great work ethic and even persevered when there was a mild plumbing disaster within his work space. Thanks again.

Called several times, left messages telling them I needed work done. Never heard a peep. At least call people back to tell them you are too busy.

How incredible to find an honest and professional electrician.  My overhead lights blew and tripped the breaker.  After flipping the circuit back on they still wouldnt work. Called at 7pm and mike came by 830.  Diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue for the price quoted. In addition he fixed a non working fixture and replaced a light switch cover that was giving me problems.  Highly reccomend.

Scott was very communicative and able to come out on short notice, no hoops to jump through. He saw the job through until it was totally fixed and remained available and responsive during a small hiccup with the project.

Excellent job done by Yoni.  Solved an ongoing problem we had with circuit breakers tripping in our kitchen.  Took the time to figure it out & discovered the problem wAs with the original installation where the previous contractor joined circuits together unnecessarily.  Yoni was able to straighten this out and remedy this problem with an hour.  Highly recommended.

I had a ceiling fan put up in an old apartment that needed a new electrical box. Prompt, fast, friendly, job perfectly done and very affordable. I will never use anyone else. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I usually don't take time to write reviews, but I had such an amazing experience again with DLP Electric,  I had to do what was deserving. I needed to upgrade my basement lighting. Not only did Don come up and design what I needed, he did a total install that was a big job. I have used this company multiple times, and they have come through with such professionalism.  I know there are many choices out there, but as long as this company is in business, they will be my goto for any electrical needs. As for the cost, just what was quoted. The fact that they  are licensed and insured, and providing great service at fair reasonable prices is enough for me to keep coming back. I had a broken light fitting and was unable to turn it off. He gave me an estimate, arrived on schedule, and charged exactly what was quoted even though  he had to go to a local hardware store to get an extra part. Would definitely use him again.

Needed an electrician last minute for a neon chandelier install for one of our clients because our initial electrician backed out last minute. Usually when we mention high voltage or neon most electricians would back away but after talking to Avi over the phone about the process and materials we would need he hopped on the job! He efficiently provided the electrical work we needed to complete our job and he was truly a life saver! we couldn't have asked for a better person to do the job!
