Best Electricians in New York

These guys were honestly the best ! I had renovated my kitchen and had about 12 recessed fixtures installed, I was very satisfied with the job and the price, I  will be definitively  calling them back for future projects .

I live in an apartment and my bedroom+closet electricity has been acting up. I need to turn on and off the switch in the breaker box multiple times a day, however, one day it just decided not to work anymore. As the temperature is dropping, I had to get it fixed so I can turn on the heat before the winter hits New York. Klodian showed up on time. He's very professional, friendly and polite. It's raining outside, he even took of his shoes before come into the apartment in order not to mess up the floor. He has done a really neat job, within 10 or 20 mins all issues were resolved. Helpful as he is, he fixed the bulging wood floor for me. I know I hired an electrician, but he did this extra thing to help me out. I really appreciate all his help! Make sure you go to Klodian when you have electricity related, or maybe, all house improvement issues :)

Our ACs were out during the heatwave. I called Richie and he came the next day. An hour later the ACs were up and running. He charged a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend!

Came on time as promised, fixed my electrical problem in less than 1 hour.
Would highly recommend, doesn't charge an arm and  leg either.
Would definitely use again.

I have no idea how NYCE work actually is as they never showed up for our appointment - twice. I understand if they are busy, and I'd even understand if they called to reschedule, but neither happened. Just a no-show. Very disappointing.

gaston is the best

this happened last night, july 2nd. at 11 pm on the saturday before 4th of july. we went out all day, came home. 10 minutes later, power went out but only for our apartment. my gf is on dialysis, so her equipment needs power to function. by the time i got access to the basement, it was well after midnight. found gaston on yelp, he picked up almost immediately and in under 1 hour he was here. fixed the problem quickly, helped us out TREMENDOUSLY. if gaston had not been available we would have been in a terrible situation. after midnight on a holiday weekend? only a good hearted soul would come through in a time of need like this, saved us a hotel stay, an entire refrigerator's worth of food, plus difficulties with dialysis!!

The real JEM here is John. Honest, friendly, and efficient, he gets the job done. Knows his craft and is trustworthy and fair priced. Only good things to say about John and I know I will be calling him again.

Scheduled an estimate and they were supposed to come within a specific timeframe, text before coming.  No call, no show, no follow up.

I had a complicated job to get done, and contacted a few electricians - Mike was the only one that offered a solution that didn't require going through walls and was easy on the wallet.

The project is now done, and we are very happy with how it turned out. He was very professional, gave us advice on how to handle some other electric projects, and his quote was accurate. I would definitely recommend him.

Danny was extremely prompt and professional replacing my 3 way switches in the kitchen for my high hat lights.
The price was very reasonable and included 2 switches plus labor.
I would definitely recommend hiring him for any electric work needed in a house.

Spent less than 20 mins to troubleshoot to say call NationalGrid to activate the PLP meter and proceeded to charge $260.  Will not use or recommend to anybody.  RIP OFF.

Scott was very communicative and able to come out on short notice, no hoops to jump through. He saw the job through until it was totally fixed and remained available and responsive during a small hiccup with the project.

My building super has anger issues and threatened to cancel electrician he scheduled when I asked why he never communicates with us. Super told me to find my own electrician and hung up so I asked for a quote from Danik and was contacted within a couple minutes. The electrician asked me to send him photos on the phone so that he could maybe walk me through the issue without coming out (to save service cost). While I was talking to him, the electrician that my super supposedly cancelled showed up and I had to tell Danik that their services were no longer needed and they were completely nice and professional about it. I will definitely be using them for anything in the future to avoid the headache that is my super.

I called Ilya to instal two light fixtures and some dimmers. His response time and ability to quickly squeeze me into his schedule was great. He showed up on time, took the time to lay plastic on my carpet and furnishings, installed both fixtures into a concrete ceiling with ease, and cleaned up after himself. This is someone I happily recommend. He's courteous, respectful and efficient.

Don was accessible and provided a clear estimate. Under new local fire codes we had to install emergency lighting to the front of back hallways in our multifamily home. Don got the job completed quickly and pleased with the results.

Based on Yelp reviews, fair pricing and communication I decided to hire them to replace a ceiling fan with a new one.

I had to change the time of the appointment by a few hours the day prior and they had no problem with changing the time.

He helped me move the dining room table out of the way as well as boxes to get him a 6 foot ladder.

The job was done in less than an hour and the fan works great!

I hired Avi/Electrific to sort out two malfunctioning ceiling fans. He was extremely good at scheduling, communicating, and the task. It was diagnosed and fixed quickly. I felt 100% comfortable with him in my home--he showed care in ensuring there was no damage to furniture that was near the work area and was one of the most pleasant people I've hired in recent memory. We had time during his visit to tackle a pendant fixture replacement and that was hung perfectly. I recommend him 100% and I'm not someone who recommends everyone I hire. Great work; thanks!

Yes, ma'am!!! would be my answer if you ask whether you should use Handyma'am.  Katie hung two ceiling light fixtures and installed two dimmer switches in my Manhattan condo, and she did a neat and proper installation, even with one of the old fixtures proving to be a challenge to remove.  Her fine art background came as no surprise to me when I saw the care and attention to detail with which she worked. Her communication skills before and during the job were a total breath of fresh air after I'd dealt with workers who left me waiting all day and never showed up -- and others who grunted and didn't speak English when they did show up.  For anything that may come up in the future, I will definitely keep contact info for the Handyma'am handy!
