Best Electricians in New York

Very, very fast service.  Great communication for scheduling and COI's.  Had a fancy light switch installed and a bathroom fixture replaced and the electrician did it in no time.  We assessed and I opted to install it upside down, and that took just five more minutes.  Highly recommended.

I was extremely impressed with the service that Titanium Electrical provided. I needed an electrician to come and assess an issue that I had with my apartment. Not only were they super responsive and made their way to my apartment right away, but he really did try his very best to fix the problem I was having. He was able to provide a solution that fit my needs & budget and was so timely to every question/request I had even after his visit.

Rich is a great guy. Reliable and efficient. He switched an outlet for me at reasonable price and was done quickly. Highly recommended!

12-7-13 Made an appt for Monday 2PM (12-9-13), I explained I had a small windows to get in, with a problem tenant, who's going to make things hard for us.

12-9-13 Got a call at 7AM from said problem tenant, forcing to push back appt by 1 hour.  I called the electrician to see if this was possible, he confirmed with me it was ok, and asked me to text him the address again, which I did at 9:25AM.  So appt pushed back to 3PM

12-9-13, 2:45, called and texted numerous times no answer.  No show

3:48PM, finally get a text back saying Can't come today, sorry.  Called back no answer.

12-13-13 Texted the following message Thanks for the review. I didn't promise you to come on Monday, I didn't give you straight answer.  But whatever

Excuse me?  I explained I had a very small window to get in right away, and asked if you could work with that.  I confirmed with you again day of early in the day, and you asked me to text you the address again.  I started trying to contact you 15 minutes prior to this appt which you never promised.  Left messages, sent texts.  I don't get a response from you until an hour later?  I called again looking for an explanation right after receiving your text, and was ignored.

Can I get on the bandwagon of team Ralph?! What an amazing technician!!! Had a massive electric problem where we had to rewire my whole apt... He not only did that, but he cleaned up afterwards and plastered the walls too... And did it in time for me to catch my flight!!! All the while with a smile and the best disposition ever... I'm a little hesitant to want to get the word out about Ralph because now he'll be so popular, but I can't keep this in... EXCELLENT service... I will ONLY be requesting him from now on!!!!!!!

I ran into a problem when I tried to relocate a switch and outlet. I got confused by some wiring. I was in a hurry to get this fixed since we needed get the room finished. I searched Yelp.com and found Nair Electrical in our area. I contacted him and got a response right away.
The next day Gaston came over and fixed our issue right away. I was able to use my credit card. There was another small job, I needed to put up a fixture with a new switch and he was able to do that while he was there. Unlike other contractors he was not in a rush to leave, he made sure I was happy with the work and he cleaned up himself. Many contractors leave their trash behind. I plan to use him again and again. Rates are reasonable but always ask how much a job will cost before agreeing to the terms of the price, and use the coupon when you can.

Initially, we were impressed with their professional manner.  They gave a quote which seemed reasonable.  Because of the extensive work we needed, the owner said he had a construction crew that they worked with.  Well I'd like to say this story had a happy ending, but it did not. We were hit up for another 10K for supplies .  Our mistake, lesson learned.  Never give money up front.  Their construction crew did not know what they were doing.  After a week we decided they needed to leave as we were not only furious at the shoddy construction, but every night we would shake our heads in disbelief.  We called in a real professional who apologized that someone in his field would actually call it a professional job.  Imagine that.  We are still trying to correct the mess they left us with.  With regard to the electric work, we were naive and probably would have done things differently.  The job was ok, but just ok.  Moral of story:  NEVER give money without proof of work.  ALWAYS, know what you want and how you want it done.  ALWAYS get references.  ALWAYS get a reference from people that you know.  FINALLY, check YouTube.  There is always video for any work that can be done by yourself.  Would NOT, and WILL NOT recommend this company.

I had a complicated issue I had no idea how to start solving. I contacted Mike via a neighbor's recommendation. Even though he said he probably wasn't the guy for the job, he meticulously walked me through root causes that could have prompted the problem: essentially sky high coned bills in spite of my low power use. Mike stopped by after consulting with my neighbor who is contracting him for a job, and he and his teammate Paul took a look at my meters. They invested the time and energy outside on a very cold day, in walking and talking me through how to troubleshoot the issue I've been struggling with. They were more helpful than various electricians I spoke to, even one who stopped by my place earlier that day. I could not recommend Mike wholeheartedly enough, for his kindness, diligence and thoughtfulness.

Danny has stellar customer service and while he was unable to fix my issue due to his license being valid in NY and I live in NJ he was still willing to offer a long and very informative explanation on my issue. Not too many ppl are willing to help without any financial benefit.

I am certain that if Danny was licensed in my state that I would hire him in a heartbreak.

Quick to respond and set up time with me! I needed a burned out outlet replaced and they came by a day or two later. Pricing was slightly higher than with others I reached out to but not too much. Would work with them again. Thanks!

These guys were life-savers. Due to an emergency, had to call them up at like 10pm on Tuesday, and they arrived on time, not long after, and fixed the problem promptly. Many calls to many other 24 hour services yielded frustration, BS, and often just an answering machine. Eco Electrician delivered.

First off when you deal with CEL Electric, you're dealing with the owner of the company not just another employee. Scott has done several projects in our 120 year old brownstone and these are not simple or straightforward jobs. The building's wiring is original and needs to be handled with great care and that's exactly what we've experienced on each job he handled for us. His electrical work is first-rate and he is meticulous working with outlets and switches on old, dry plaster walls and fans on ornate ceilings and that's something often overlooked with electricians. Each and every time I've called, he's been super responsive and we've had no qualms with his quotes. No reason to even think about using anyone else and that's a great feeling.

We highly recommend this company. They are very responsive, quick to figure out the issue and then quick to do the work. Will definitely use them again.

I could not be happier with Don from DLP Electric. He is super knowledgeable and professional and showed up early. Last week, he helped me resolve an issue with the entire electrical wiring in the house where I rent an apartment. Don's expertise is going to get me thousands of dollars back from my landlord for overpayment of PSE&G bills. There were 2 electricians here that day, and it was clear that Don was the true expert. Even the other electrician was asking Don for advice. Thanks Don for sharing your knowledge with us.

Sergey is a pro. Had some old fixtures that had a rats nest of painted over wires behind them and he sorted it out. Very hard worker, professional, and affordable. Thanks Sergey!

He was friendly over the phone, and gave me a reasonably priced quote for my problem (I needed a hard line to my old dishwasher replaced with a traditional socket). His price was significantly lower than the other electricians I called for quotes. He showed up the next day and was courteous and professional, and quickly installed the socket. He even explained to me what he was doing when I asked.

I don't hesitate to recommend this electrician!

Can't say enough good stuff about this one! Graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a design degree and can make just about anything! She hung lighting and pictures for me  added some dimmers so the ambiance was just right. Katie gave me great advice on several areas of my home and brought all of the ideas to life. She can do it all!

I really can't say enough about Roman. He is just really customer service oriented. Since the first day he showed up till today.
So I had to upgrade my electrical lines in the office, I needed to add more Amps. Of course I had at lease 6 electrician coming and giving a price for the upgrade, but I've decided to work with Conquest, for one big reason- Roman's honesty. He was the only one that actually explained to me how it works and why I don't need to do some stuff in order to get the power I needed. Basically he saved me $10K - not joking!!!!!! Comparing to everyone else that were trying to rip me off, Roman actually gave me an honest estimate. Even after finishing the job (roughly 1 month after) if I had problems (nothing to do with his work), he always comes by to save the day, yesterday he answered the phone on Sunday at 10:30 pm(!) who would do that? I was really surprised. So from now on he will be my electrician guy and definitely will recommend him to everyone.
