Best Electricians in New York

I could not be more pleased with these guys. We are moving into a new home and needed some last minute electrical things done - I wanted it done quickly if at all possible so that we could finish painting before moving in. Moe squeezed me in for the very next day - he said it will have to be early  but that he would make it happen.  And he did. Randy and his team were there ready to to work at 7:30am!

Randy led the team and he was not only patient with my indecisiveness, but he also made sure to walk me through everything without my even asking. He was such a pleasure to have there and he ran a perfect job. They barely left any holes in the wall. Will be really easy to patch and paint now.

And with extra lighting to boot, of course. :)

Electrical work is a magic as far as I'm concerned. Randy is a magician, a wizard even. Straight up.

I needed an outlet installed for a vent hood. He responded right away, quoted a good price, and was available very quickly. He stayed in communication to let me know when he would be arriving, and did the job well - even installed the hood as well for a little extra! It was one of the smoothest experiences I've ever had hiring a professional; I'll definitely be coming here with any future electrical needs.

Richie responded very quickly and came out to my house within the same day (huge deal especially since it is a holiday weekend). He instantly figured out why my 2nd floor wasn't receiving any power while the rest of the house was fine. He is very reasonable, professional and good natured.

I would recommend Richie and his business for anyone, especially for any emergencies you may have

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Found Mikhail on here and we negotiated over text, and he was in and done before I knew it. I had him switch out a bedroom light for a ceiling fan, as well as a bathroom fixture. Fast, Affordable, and worth the call!

Ralph is a godsend. Best electrician hands down. Our landlord sent 8 different people come into our office space to fix our heating - nothing worked. Needless to say, this winter has been brutal and our patience was growing very thin.

Within less than an hour Ralph identified the issue, gave us an in-depth explanation of what's going on and various ways he can fix it - long term and short term. He was able to get everything done for us quickly and within budget.

Beyond the fact that the heat is actually working now, he was fast, clean and gave us suggestions for improvements to our system - like cleaning out the boiler room to avoid a fire and getting a carbon monoxide monitor to ensure we're safe.

We'll never call another electrician again. Ralph - thanks for everything! You're the best.

Nice and reliable guy but...  it took two visits, 5 hours of work in total and a $900 bill... to find one outdoor electrical outlet that was rusted and creating a short.   What was more disappointing is that the same outlet creating the problem was apparently tested during the first visit but deemed in good working order (not sure how that happened).  When at the end of the second visit we discovered by luck where the problem was coming from (we heard a pop in the faulty outlet while testing something else)  I pointed out that the issue should/could have been identified the first time around if tested properly and as a result I politely asked for a break;  my request received no consideration - my time is my time I was told.  I respect that.  But so here it is: 2 stars and I am tempted to add  my opinion is my opinion so be it.

Great service, came and fixed a light in the ceiling, explained to me as a home owner things to watch out for and also just the nature of older houses/ electrical wiring etc. Finished and installed a new light within an hour. Good pricing and prompt with time.

Initially, we were impressed with their professional manner.  They gave a quote which seemed reasonable.  Because of the extensive work we needed, the owner said he had a construction crew that they worked with.  Well I'd like to say this story had a happy ending, but it did not. We were hit up for another 10K for supplies .  Our mistake, lesson learned.  Never give money up front.  Their construction crew did not know what they were doing.  After a week we decided they needed to leave as we were not only furious at the shoddy construction, but every night we would shake our heads in disbelief.  We called in a real professional who apologized that someone in his field would actually call it a professional job.  Imagine that.  We are still trying to correct the mess they left us with.  With regard to the electric work, we were naive and probably would have done things differently.  The job was ok, but just ok.  Moral of story:  NEVER give money without proof of work.  ALWAYS, know what you want and how you want it done.  ALWAYS get references.  ALWAYS get a reference from people that you know.  FINALLY, check YouTube.  There is always video for any work that can be done by yourself.  Would NOT, and WILL NOT recommend this company.

When you call an electrician you expect to be misguided and ripped off. It's like having heart surgery without medical insurance. You cringe and anticipate the final bill. You expect to have more work done than originally expected. You look to hock jewelry to pay this surgeon of voltage. That was far from the case when calling these guys. Mike quickly diagnosed and quoted an estimate on cost. Repair was done within 2 hours and quote was on point. It was like having your favorite uncle come over to fix the situation. Three adjective to describe... Fair, honest and funny. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

Danny was extremely prompt and professional replacing my 3 way switches in the kitchen for my high hat lights.
The price was very reasonable and included 2 switches plus labor.
I would definitely recommend hiring him for any electric work needed in a house.

They helped me figure out the problem I was trying to solve quickly, and it saved me unnecessary costs. I appreciated their quick responsiveness and competence.

I had a simple (or so I thought) job to install a light fixture. I called several electricians who quoted me what seemed like exorbitant rates, but Rick came through with a very reasonable $60. As it turns out the job wasn't so simple - my light fixture was blown and I had to get it rewired. Rick was very patient, explained just what I needed to get done, and then came back and did the actual installation when the fixture was fixed for free. Really quality service and I'll be relying on the Eco Electrician for all my electrical needs going forward!

Yoni knows nothing about customer service -- he really appears very slow, uninterested in doing the work and even rude. I would be aware of the fact that most positive reviews on this site are written in a similar vein and seem phony to me.

Ilya responded right away, came in for a consultation the next day and provided me with a precise estimate.  He and two other people hooked up all the electricity in my new hair salon in one day!  They even cleaned thoroughly afterwards!  Everything is beautiful, I'm very happy.

Don and Pat were great. They arrived early and worked quickly (but carefully) to locate the short circuit in our 100 year old walls. We look forward to working with them again.

Sergy provided an honest quote and was on time. The job was a leaking pipe and toliet that was wobbly. He even fixed securing the pipe. Even if that what is supposed to be done. I got other quotes and no one brought that up. I certainly felt he was looking out for my best interest

My wife and I were having problems with a low-voltage track lighting system that was over twenty years old and no longer manufactured.  Avi was terrifically helpful in accommodating to our schedule and getting someone out to assess the issue as quickly as possible.  Gerry was on time, professional and extraordinarily helpful.  More specifically, he patiently diagnosed the problem and ingeniously found a way to rewire the failing track segment thereby bringing it back to life.  All the while, he was a gentle, easy presence in our apartment (and tolerated the occasional interference from our three cats with good humor).  Not if -- but when given its age -- our lighting fails again we will not hesitate to contact Electrific, just as we would for any other electrical problem we might encounter.  All of which is to say, we can't recommend them more highly.

Nic and Odin were dispatched by Handyma'am to help me with some household tasks and I couldn't be happier with their work. Nic painted a sliding door and transformed its grind to a glide. Odin hung 18 pieces of framed art. They both secured an IKEA bookcase to the wall to keep it from tipping over. PLUS they were friendly, answered all my questions, and gave great advice for future home improvement projects. For context, I'm a petite single woman who needs a stepladder to reach just about anything, so the tasks that took Nic and Odin a few hours to complete would have taken me weeks outside of my work schedule, and they wouldn't have been completed nearly as professionally. Handyma'am passes the vibe check with flying colors and I'd recommend them to friends and family in a heartbeat!

Roman is the best contractor I have ever dealt with in Manhattan! I first reached out to him because our fuse box kept blowing. I emailed Conquest Electric through yelp and Roman got back to me within hours.

He was able to come to the apartment on a day AND time that was convenient for me!! With his assessment, Roman explained everything so I could understand and further provided options for a solution. He then solved the problem quickly and professionally!

Soon after my initial problem, we had a set of spot lights stop working. He again came in a timely and convenient manner and left the apartment with everything fixed.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Roman's work ethic is excellent! Highly recommend!
