Best Electricians in New York

I contacted a bunch of electricians on Yelp because I needed light fixtures changed out in my rental. Moshe from Electrician Techs got back to me immediately with a very reasonable quote and we scheduled an appointment. I had to reschedule a few times due to shipping issues with one of the lights and Moshe was patient and friendly throughout that process. Finally, Steve came to install my lights and was a lovely guy to have around. My building is over 100 years old and the wiring is crappy, so Steve ended up replacing one of the boxes. The old wiring was clearly difficult to work with but Steve would not leave until everything was perfect. I'm so happy with the service and will definitely hire again in the future!

After searching at length for a great Electrician to work with, I found Rich and his team. Rich was responsive and prompt with arranging a time to come, assess the job, and provide an estimate. Devin did the actual installation of lighting in my living room. His work is impeccable and quite perfect. His attention to detail is admirable. Don't even question using this company, just do it! Highly, highly recommend!

Guys, I wasn't kidding when I said I'd reach out to Mickhael again for his services.  He recently replaced our backyard motion detection light with a new one that we had purchased from Costco.  He did this seamlessly without the need for pesky instructions.  He also helped repair a wall outlet that had run its course, and both jobs were completed within an hour.  He is a trusted professional, and I'm glad that he services areas out side of Brooklyn.

Blew a circuit and lost electricity in half of our house. We were walking around like spelunkers with those little lamps on our heads and thinking we would try our regular electrician who isn't usually available until days later. And then I thought Turn down for what? (and I don't mean the dimmers). I realized I should look for an electrician on Yelp, which has never let me down. Sure enough, I found NY Electricians. I sent an email at around 9:30 p.m. and by 10 had received a phone call from Anthony. He was really helpful and we agreed to speak in the morning and see if someone could come right out. Mark arrived by about 7:20 a.m. He immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 15 minutes.He was friendly, personable and professional. My husband and I couldn't believe the speed with which we were able to get this repair. And the price was reasonable. Highly recommend.

I have been using Hitchingham Electric for a number of years. I recently had them change light fixtures in my kitchen and hallways, replace some dimmer switches and install a bathroom towel heater. Mike , the owner is incredibly patient and detailed in explaining what is involved  before he starts the work. He and his partner are meticulous in their work. Everything is working wonderfully, especially the towel heater! and is perfectly installed. I especially like that Mike  takes the time to explain all the options so I can get the best deal for my money.

Nice guy, good price.  Daniel worked with my schedule so I wouldn't have to take a day off work.  Arrived on time, fair price.   Will recommend and use him again for future electrical needs.  Thanks!

I reached out to an electrician in the area because I was using my heater and it sparked an outlet in my living room.  The breaker was supposed to work and it didn't.  The heater just blew out the outlet and I smelled smoke. It was possible I could've started a fire!!

I called Danik Electrical for a consult and they ( 2 licensed electricians)  came asap, within the same day.  That was awesome!

Yoni and his partner were very pleasant,  knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.  He said he would change the outlets and 2 breakers on my panel so that I would be safe and not cause a fire.  They weren't pushy, just informative and efficient.

I felt very comfortable with them because they didn't find more reasons to increase the pricing for the original problem.  I liked that.

I will use them in the future for all my electrical needs, including new wiring and a new panel if necessary.

Ilya is a top notch electrician.  Gave a fair quote and delivered on the work.  Installed a light fixture in the bedroom and then 2 LED light panels in the kitchen.  He worked fast and the results were exactly what I was looking for.  Will definitely hire him again.

The A/C at my two family home wasn't working and after finding out it was an electrical issue, I did some research and decided to reach out to DLP. The moment I called I was able to recognize the professionalism. Don and Pat showed up early the next morning and within a few minutes had corrected the issue with the first unit/panel. After that, they moved onto the next one and solved the issue with that as well. I would recommend DLP Electric to anyone, not only are they are vey efficient and thorough but they are reasonably priced and genuinely love what they do!!

He did a fantastic job. Showed up within 24 hours, did the job in under an hour (even with having to leave and come back to pick up a spare unexpected part) and charged a very reasonable price. Wore a mask and shoe covers the whole time. Very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend this guy.

Katie is a gem. I needed curtains installed in my bedroom, which required someone to stand on my bed. This task felt very personal, and as a woman, I felt more comfortable having a fellow woman get the job done. I was running a bit late, and Katie was graciously flexible and understanding. She installed the curtains in 30 minutes, maybe even less time!? She was super professional and down to earth. You can just really tell that she's a genuinely good soul and wants to support her clients in the most authentic and professional way. I really appreciated Katie's handiwork and I can safely say that blackout curtains were an excellent investment. Support women-owned businesses!
