Best Plumbing Services in New York
Due to the hurricane Ida my basement flooded and my water heater and gas furnace stopped working. I couldn't find any available plumber to help me until I found Wanda. She made sure I got a water heater immediately. The water heater came and her guy came right after. He took care of everything. He was professional and great. He replaced the water heater and fixed the gas furnace. I'm so thankful everything is working again. Wanda to the rescue! Will use this company again. Highly recommend!

Though, it was the first time I have dealt with this company, it has exceeded my expectations. The gentleman who showed up to do the job arrived on time for the two times. He was neat, knowledgeable and very attentive. Additionally, the asking price was reasonable, so much so, I did not even argue about it. All things considered, I have had a very good experience with this company and Mario, the technician. I would strongly recommend Pipemaster.

I called at 9:45 pm about my clogged washer drain. John O'Grady called me back within a half hour. He said he doesn't do this type of work but would give me the name of someone that does and is good. I thought it was nice of him to try to help me out.

These guys are the nicest and most knowledgeable in all of NYC! I had an emergency plumbing situation in my bathroom shower and within minutes, despite this time being one of their busiest seasons, two Algozini guys showed up and quickly resolved my issue. They were very friendly and worked quickly, efficiently and were extremely tidy. Thanks so much, Algozini Plumbing!

I have been using Harris Plumbing for several years. Harris Plumbing is licensed and insured. They are very competent. Always come at the appointed time or earlier. Work is done in a timely and competent manner. Prices are competitive. I would definitely recommend them for all your plumbing needs. Thanks in particular to Chris, Nick and Andrew. I would be remiss if I left out the office staff who are always very professional and courteous.

John was a friendly and professional plumber. He even waited for me while I went to the store to get parts. Would highly recommend.

This is that quintessential good plumber you tell all your friends about. The owner's name is Scott and he is as professional as they come. If he doesn't answer your call directly, he will return your call well within 24 hours if it isn't an emergency and within minutes for emergency calls. I have been using him since 1996 for various plumbing jobs and just this past month I gave him the business of converting our old oil burner to a natural gas one. He personally came for the estimate and even measured our radiators to put the perfect sized boiler in. He and his staff had the entire job done in 2 days. We were out of heat for only hours. I recommend this plumber for all your plumbing needs for people in the Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, Montclair and surrounding areas.

Branden is the best! Always helpful and patient even when he is super busy, which he always is. Great place. Enjoy doing business with them.

Old fashioned exceptional service. Tom took the time to explain all our furnace issues and suggest the most economical and practical solutions. Went above and beyond to ensure we knew what we should do. Fixed a hot water heater issue that had been rigged as a temporary fix by previous owner. Very pleased with the service.

Michael and his team are what you would consider going above and beyond what is expected. We had a leak in our finished basement over Memorial Day weekend and they made all our problems go away. They took the time to explain what it was they were doing and you can tell they were genuine and not just out to make a cash grab. It's rare these days to find that kind of service. Overall, I would definitely recommend them.

Service was more about getting done quickly versus figuring the issue out ... I had to call a real plumber after the fact who charged less and actually fixed the issue:

The plumber from Pelham Plumbing arrived on time, assessed & fixed the problem with our kitchen sink and everything has been great since. I would recommend them to a friend!

They used to be better 10 years ago. Last 3 times I've used them, had to have them back 2-3 times and still have issues not resolved. Not using them any longer.

We had a mishap involving a flush in progress and a slippery lady's speedstick....and in a split second all modern conveniences are down the toilet.
One local plumber, a Jose Martinez (boo hiss) promise, promise, promised to come back that evening if the first guy he sent couldn't remove the object with a snake/augre, but was a no show and seemed to change his diagnosis - suddenly he insisted we needed a whole new toilet! He was suddenly busy eating dinner at the time he'd agreed and confirmed he'd come back, but said he'd be glad to come back some other time!
So we called the second recommendation on our list, and they responded right away, found out the situation and showed up nice and early the next morning. They fixed the problem, by taking up the toilet and fishing out said lady speed stick, replaced the perfectly intact toilet and that was that. A very reasonable charge of $295, for an hour of work for two men with all the necessary technical know how. And of course no new toilet required.
Thanks Kevin from Watson's, you and your assistant rock.
(Again, boo hiss, Mr. Jose Martinez at (646) 210-8731, you are a very unreliable and dishonest non-professional.)

The customer service is horrible. Incredibly overpriced ($275 to snake a toilet bowl) for a service that did not fix the problem. The plumber claimed to have snaked 10 feet and later admitted it was at least 2 feet less than that. Toilet broke again 2 days later. Plumber was supposed to come back on a Friday, but had a family emergency. Didn't bother calling to let me know that he would not be showing up. Showed up the next morning 45 minutes late. Blamed me for flushing things down the toilet despite the fact that I purchased the toilet paper he recommended and have flushed minimal amounts. Wanted to charge another $175 to rebuild the toilet ($20 for parts). Incredibly unprofessional and refused to spend more than 30 seconds looking at the toilet and diagnosing the actual problem. Will NEVER call this place again.
