Best Plumbing Services in New York
Peter responded to my phone call and had my electrical issue fixed the same day. He ended up installing a ceiling fan and a light fixture for a very reasonable amount. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Dorjan is knowledgable and quick. He helped me repair a leak to the input valve for a Toto toilet. Little pricey but better to get the job done right the first time. Would return for repeat work if needed, which is the ultimate sign of a job well done. Thank you!

Continental did an excellent job. I called them to clean out some of my drains. They were very accommodating, showed up on time, and were polite and neat. I Will definitely use them again.

Andy's Plumbing & Drain Services were incredible. They will be the only one I call for my plumbing needs in the future. Reasonably priced, professional, courteous, and most of all the work speaks for itself. If you are looking for a plumber in Brooklyn (or anywhere else they serve) I would 100% recommend hiring them. Thank you!

Edwin the plumber was wonderful. He was able to find the problem and fix it. He explained to me what he done and answered all my questions. Afterwards he cleaned up the area where he worked. All Day Plumbing and Heating will get my business from now on. I definitely recommend them to you.

I requested a window AC installation service and received a prompt response within a few hours. Two professionals arrived at the agreed-upon time and took care of everything without my intervention. They removed my old AC unit, installed the new one, and even cleaned up after themselves. The entire process took approximately 30 minutes, and they also took away the old AC unit, relieving me of the responsibility of disposing of it.

I moved into a condo in Williamsburg, that needed a ton of odd-jobs completed. Michael came quickly to my aid, and completed everything from hanging things on walls, to plumbing and electrical issues. He provided his COI to the building, which was required and couldn't be a nicer guy! I will be calling again for any task!

Great company. I've used them twice and the service has always been prompt and excellent. Both times I've dealt with Steve, the owner's son. They replaced my water heater for a reasonable price and also fixed my kitchen sink which had a leak fro a corroded pipe. They were the only shop in town that sent someone over quickly., thus averting disaster in both cases. The others couldn't see me for a day or more. Their prices are in line with what I expected and above all they are honest.

These guys were great. They did a big job removing a couple of poorly-installed a/c units I had and replacing them with great units with immaculate installations. Based on some internet research, the prices on the units were very reasonable. While the installation was not the cheapest, they did a much better job than other companies I have used; totally worth it. Both the sales staff and the installers were helpful and friendly. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to others.

Tournquist was going to charge 77 year old mother 7500 plus dollars to reconnect a gas line, check for leaks and put in a meter. Sal got the entire job done for 2300

Our boiler broke beyond repair during the coldest part of winter, so we needed a new boiler quickly. Infinite was incredibly responsive from the first time we contacted them. They suggested an appropriate unit for our house (the previous one was much larger and oversized for our needs) and were able to install it within two days of first meeting with us. The estimators and installers were all knowledgeable experts but also pleasant to work with. We won't hesitate to use Infinite again in the future.

Solid work! After being jerked around by a couple people for our kitchen renovation, we found Harry through Yelp. At our first meeting, we definitely got a good vibe from him. Friendly guy, very personable, kind of serious looking, but able to crack some jokes. So we decided to go with him.
The job consisted of three separate trips, because we were coordinating electrical work in the kitchen, and it needed to be done in the proper order. And we were sort of on a deadline and we relayed this to Harry, who assured us it would be done on time. I guess we were nervous and needed to be updated or wanted to know a definitive time. At times Harry could be too laid back, or maybe he was used to more laid back customers, or our job was small so he wasn't as definitive with his dates/times -- but there were two instances where he said he would call/come by, but then he didn't. He always called and let us know -- he never just flaked on us completely or ignored us. However, I guess we were relieved, excited, and hopeful whenever he told us a specific time/date, and we were expecting him on said time/date because that meant things were not stalled. Once he finished his part, we could get the electrician to do his part, and so forth.
It didn't make us upset at Harry; we could tell he was a good guy. But we were weary. We didn't want to be clients that were not taken seriously, whether we were young or seemed passive. We needed to let it be known that we expected things on a specific timeline, as promised (that's why we went with this business in the first place). My husband sent out an email on two different occasions asking for more information, and asking to speak with Harry. Harry's office manager/receptionist was on point. She always responded very quickly.I could tell she kept the ship running smoothly, because whenever we emailed her, Harry would follow up with a call. I really appreciated that communication. It was instant! I can tell they do take their clients and business seriously.
In the end, it all worked out. As for Harry's work, it showed quality. And he was efficient with what he did in one day. He and his team also cleaned up after themselves, very well. They didn't leave garbage or sheet rock dust . They even swept up too.
I know our job was small and minor, but I have confidence that bigger projects or a full on gut/renovation, he could do very well.

Premium Sewer & Drain helped me by installing a Toto S550e (washlet/bidet) on a 2 piece Toto toilet. If you've seen the YouTube videos they make this project look simple. Adonis arrived on time, asked me if I wanted him to take off his shoes, I gave him shoe covers and told him to leave them on. He worked diligently and had to take apart the toilet to install the hoses for the bidet. He tested the water flow/flush a few times to ensure there were no leaks, and also stayed with me while I fumbled through the instructions and pretty complex remote control for the bidet. After I gave him the ok, he cleaned up the area and thanked me. I was in shock because I'm the one who is thankful! He helped me with my bidet dreams ha ha! He also made a recommendation to update an older flush valve that has a longer than normal delay to fill the bowl. - we'll do this at a later time. Thank you PS&D, Adonis, you made my week!

I called Mike to help fix a leaky toilet. He was here within the hour and fixed it in even less time!!! He is prompt, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and affordable. I can't recommend his services enough!!!

My entire family lives in the neighborhood and has been using RJ Wellbrock Plumbing for years. We trust them completely and know we are being taken care of and will receive the best service. I recently purchased an apartment and the fixtures that were in the bathroom tub from the previous owner were a nightmare - outdated, and constantly leaking to the point where it was damaging the tub. Doug and his team were able to locate the hardware needed to replace everything and fix the leak - it works perfectly and looks brand new! So happy I reached out to them for this and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Have called Arch Plumbing twice now. The first time for a major shower repair,; second time a clogged line and leaking pipes in my kitchen. They spotted the problem(s) quickly, repaired, cleaned up (spotlessly) with extremely reasonable charge. No recurring problems.
Got the referral from my local plumbing supply store. Guess that was a good sign.

Great service. Quick fix and friendly. Had to wait a few hours for them to turn up (thus the 4-stars) but otherwise great and I didn't feel too ripped off, as I have in the past when using emergency plumbers.

UPDATE 10/27/2017 - It's not an anomaly. I've used them 3 times now (moved into old apt...everything has now been replaced or repaired)...and each time they have been professional and responsive. I just got off the phone with the owner...no, it's not Fred...it's Phil...to thank him for a great team. They are no fly by night. They have over 80 plumbers they dispatch every day and a team inside who help their field guys find and get the right part to you (HUGE - knowing that most of these old apt's have nothing but expired, hard to find parts everywhere). I can't tell you how much I appreciate knowing I have these in the hood when I need plumbing help. Thanks Phil...and Mike...and Steve...and Gustavo!
Original post: Wow! I was surprised to see how few stars these guys had when I logged on to type this...because I just had a GREAT experience. I just called Fred Smith at the recommendation of the concierge of our building (Astor Terrace) as I'm new to the neighborhood. They gave me a simple hourly quote and were available within a couple days, which was required to schedule an entire part of the building water shut off for the work. My only complaint was that they were 2 hrs late to the job without a call that they'd be late...and I had to call them twice. BUT, once Mike got here...he was great. He coordinated (and directed) the building maintenance guys telling them what to do and when (Mike was very professional and knowledgeable regarding exactly what needed to be done...more than the building guys). The job involved replacing 3 master valves and replacing a complex kitchen faucet and shower cartridge (mechanism controlling water flow). He did this all in less than 2 hours. PERFECT. I would call them back in a minute and highly recommend them (at least Mike, for sure).

I called this company and it's a scam. They sent a so called repair person who didn't fix my leaking fridge he just took a blow dryer and melted ice. He came up with so many scenarios and at the end my fridge kept leaking. Their number is a Google number that changes and they told me to make a payment electronically on square space. Also promised me a 6month warranty. Obviously when I called they went MIA.!!!!!! Please do not fall for these scammers. They go by Gotham appliances or K.A.R. Check out the pictures of the repair guy he goes by the name Vicky. Now if they comment they will most likely say we don't know the guy (of course they will)....

Call these people if you want to get completely ripped off.
My tenant has called Roto Rooter because dishwasher didn't drain water, and the water was leaking. The fix on the invoice was kitchen sink drain stopper clean. Three trips. Replaced the 2 Elbow waste pipe for kitchen. For this, they have charged her $200 for parts and $732 for labor. First, an elbow pipe cost $20 max, so that should have been $40 at most. The job lasted an hour and 20 min, counting the time he had gone to park his car and to retrieve tools, which was treated as three trips on the invoice. My tenant is a young woman with no knowledge of plumbing and has signed off on this without checking with me first. When I called them, and spoke with the manager on this blatant abuse of pricing, his response was that this is their price and the tenant was willing to pay this. Yes, I understand that they are free to quote whatever price they want to, and it was my tenant's own fault to get ripped off for not checking with other companies. However, it is completely dishonest to take advantage of someone just because they didn't know what the going rate is for the type of service performed. This job should not have cost more than $400 by a licensed plumber, and I'm counting higher because it is NYC. For a similar job, I have paid $200 elsewhere.
I'm giving them 1 star because at least, the job was done correctly and the problem is solved. But Roto Rooter is never getting my business again.
