What a revelation!  When our water heater died over the weekend, I called Steve Morin Plumbing expecting to leave a message and hope for a response on Monday.  Much to my surprise, Mr. Morin answered and agreed to replace the water heater the next day by rearranging his calendar.  Later that Sunday evening, I exchanged photos of the existing installation and we discussed the process for the next day.  Steve's son Jesse arrived on time and completed the work efficiently including a full clean-up.  In this day and age when reliable contractors are all but impossible to find, these guys are awesome and will be our plumbers going forward.  HIGHLY recommended!

We have had lots of plumbing issues in our older house. Steve and crew have been great at fixing our problems and we will not use anyone else.

I discovered a big leak in a 1/2 copper pipe under my house.  The fix would require removing and sweating on a copper T and a 45 degree fitting. The technician looked at the problem, and estimated $1800 for this minor repair. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Really nice young man, Andrew Miller that did the work, I would give him 5 stars.  I thought the price was a bit high but it was the weekend and considered an emergency call.  The scheduler was very polite and helpful.  Overall a pretty good experience.

Great communication (texts confirming appointment time and when plumber was on the way), on time (or even early! - called first to confirm availability), professional demeanor, gave options to repair and/or replace, left repair area clean. Plus - we're back to taking hot showers again! Very satisfied!

Chapman has always, always been great to us. Whether I call on the coldest day of the year and need a furnace installed the next day or a simple maintenance service call they go above and beyond every time.

Howald provided exceptional service again. Howald is our go-to for our HVAC needs including replace our complete system 5 years ago.  We had a plumbing issues so I called them. Wow!! They were able to address our shower issue in one call and serviced our other shower as well. I thought it was a valve issue, but their technician (Sam) determined it was a completely clogged filter.  He had us up in running (water) in no time.  Now our visiting family members have their own shower! Mike and his assistant were at my house in about an hour, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the faulty water heater at a reasonable pice. I would highly recommend their services for anyone with plumbing services needs.

Following several failed attempts to find someone-- anyone-- who would not only call us back, but actually put us on their calendar to come out and replace our water heater for a reasonable price, I began scouring the internet and seeking input from others. Weilhammer Plumbing was highly recommended by a coworker, and they had excellent reviews on the internet. (And I liked how they were responsive to the reviews-- even the bad ones. . . It made me think that they stand behind their work and take their reputation very seriously).

Upon calling Weilhammer Plumbing, I  got a good vibe. The person I spoke with was very pleasant, didn't treat me like some stupid woman who didn't know what she was talking about, and seemed very knowledgeable and competent. I also liked that they were willing to quote me a price over the phone (as opposed to the other companies, who wanted to come out before they'd give us an estimate, even though I just wanted to replace the unit with one that was pretty much exactly the same, and provided them with all the specs and features of the old one. . .). The person I spoke with on the phone asked me to take some pictures of the area with the water heater and text them to him, so he could get an idea of what he'd be dealing with. I thought it was an efficient way of dealing with it, saving me from having to take time off work to get a quote, and saving him a trip across town. I was also impressed by the phone conversation because it seemed like Weilhammer Plumbing wanted to do things the right way, rather than just do the bare minimum, collect the money, and be done with it. The person I spoke with explained to me that they felt it would be best to  add a drain pan underneath the new water heater, which they felt would help minimize damage to the floor in the event of a future leak. This was included in the price of the quote.

I needed a 38 gallon short electric water heater, because of space issues in the utility closet in which it was to be installed. I knew I wanted another one just like the old one, which had lasted thirteen years and was still going strong (save for an obnoxious sulphur smell at the start of showers). They listened to me, and quoted me out on the brand I wanted, with the warranty and features I wanted, instead of trying to sell me something else. Despite that the unit was not actually leaking, and was still working (mostly) just fine, Weilhammer still made us a priority, and came out not even two days later to do the install. They came at the time they said they would, and not one, but two guys came out with two trucks. One did the actual install, and the other helped with everything else (such as ensuring the water was shut off at the outside level, making sure the electrical breakers were turned off, bringing the installer the correct fittings, removing the old unit and draining it outside, etc). This was a time saver, resulting in the whole haul-away and install taking less than two hours, and leaving my afternoon free to go get an oil change and run some errands I'd have otherwise had to run over the weekend.

From what I can tell, the work appears to be good quality. I also liked that they went the extra mile and added a heavy line of caulk where the concrete and laminate floors meet, to re-direct water away from the laminate floors in the event the unit were to leak at some point in the future.

I am glad we found this company, and will consider them first for all future plumbing needs.

I've never had a better experience than with John, Will, and the whole crew!!  They stayed late to finish a two day job on a Friday. So cool. We are the kings of hot water. Or better yet, the ladies in the house say we are the queens of hot water. Get the tankless and recirculating pump. You won't regret it.

Had their tech out for just a service call tune up on their promotion.  He said that we needed a contactor and a capacitor.  Quoted 203.00 per part.  Got offended when I said I wanted to look up parts price before purchasing.  I asked if I found the parts if they would install he said no.  I found both parts online and cost me about 60 for both including shipping. He tried to convince me that I needed to buy his parts because if I needed a new unit he would credit me back the cost of the parts.  I asked who I would talk to about cost of a new unit - of course it was him.  So a tech who is also your sales rep means they want the sale more than they want to give you good service.  I was mislead by all the positive reviews.

Let it suffice to say that I am very disappointed with Summers.  I've used their services several times in the past when I've encountered a plumbing issue, and they were always most responsive and  courteous in fixing the problem.  So I had no reservations about contacting them this weekend when I had an unexpected problem with my water heater.  But it became  obvious from the moment I spoke with their service representative by telephone (at 5:20 p.m.  Saturday afternoon) that he was not enthralled with the idea of paying me a service call.  Nonetheless, he reluctantly agreed to do so after completing two jobs that were ahead of me.  That was the last time I heard from him.  By 10:30 p.m. , he was still a no show.  I would have at least expected a courtesy call from him offering an explanation for his absence, but I didn't even get that consideration.  Nothing irritates me more than when a contractor makes a commitment to me and then doesn't fulfill it.

Summers - if you're listening, you need to have a conversation with this technician about his customer service skills and keeping commitments that he makes.  Because you can bet that if he's done this to me, he has already - or will, do the same to another customer.

I wrote a review on my experience with Peterman's on Yelp and BBB. I received a response from the supposed owners on each site. The responses were from two different Peterman's owners but were worded exactly the same. Doesn't seem like much personalization to me. This response speaks for itself. They only are out to get your money. Don't waste your time or money on this company.
