Best Electricians in Indiana
They came out within a couple of days after my initial call to give me an estimate, and provided me a documented quote the same day. They also came the following week to do the install (220v outlet). The electrician was very professional: he wore his mask the entire time he was working, cleaned up after himself, and was kind when answering my questions. I did get estimates from a couple of other companies but didn't like their personalities or they took several days to provide a quote.

I sent a message to them on Saturday and on Tuesday I already had my new electrical wall outlet installed.
When I called I spoke with Kennedy. She was very sweet and professional and answered all of my questions. I sent a follow up question on Yelp about them being insured and she replied they are indeed insured and bonded.
My electrician called 10 minutes before arrival. Hi name is Paul and he was very nice and professional as well. He did an ex Ellen's job installing the outlet. He was quick, cleaned up after himself with a vacuum and just seemed like a nice guy.
I'm shocked more people haven't commented on this company because they really great. I did find 13 more unrecommended comments and not sure why. They were very positive .My experience was awesome all the way around. Best quote I'd gotten and I paid exactly what I expected to.
Great job, guys! I will work with you will recommend you to as many as possible!

We had ordered appliances from Home Depot, but getting them to install them in any kind of reasonable time line was impossible. Five days before Christmas, there we are with a new double oven and vent hood, with no clear way to get them installed. I called IWE, and Tim got back to me within two days, coming out to review the work we needed and give us an estimate. Tim did a fantastic job on these difficult installations the very next day. With a winter storm approaching that afternoon, he removed the old oven and installed the new one, and did the same with the vent hood. Those ovens are incredibly heavy, and my wife and I were glad we didn't try this on our own. Tim was courteous, on-time, did great work, and charged a reasonable price (I think he and a colleague spent about 3.5 hours on the job and charged $400). I KNOW we are going to be calling Tim again for future electrical work; you should consider doing the same!

Best company ever!!!!
I heard a buzzing in my bedroom outlet and called for emergency service and they fit me in and were at my house within 30 minutes.
Zack said it was definitely a fire getting ready to start from the arching in the wall from improper and ancient aluminum wiring.
He assured me that they would not leave until it was fixed properly & my house would be safe.

These gentlemen were wonderful! They came out on a Thursday evening to give us a quote, and we're back Saturday afternoon to do the job of installing an additional outlet in the garage. They were very thorough on the planning, and the checked a couple times to make sure they were doing what we wanted. They were very well priced, courteous, quick with their work, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely use them again for future electrical projects.

We had Branch Electric help us with our closet renovation. We quickly added additional lights and asked them to swap out outlet and light switch covers and they added it without a problem and not a huge increase in cost!
We had a tight timeframe and they were able to meet our schedule. I would highly recommend these guys for any job, big or small!

I have used Mr. Electric of Central Indiana a couple of times. They are very friendly, responsive to your needs, on time and get the job done. In my opinion, their pricing is very reasonable.

I had an outlet in my house that burnt out. I called them, they let me know what to do, and they came out the next morning and fixed it quickly and affordably. The gentleman that came was polite, informative, and explained everything clearly for me.

The electricity went out in one of our bedrooms. Troubleshooted it myself, as I've done some very minor electrical work before, whiteout success. Replaced the breaker on the electrical box without success. I called Mark, who was recommended by my favorite plumber, Charles Hegewald, who showed up when he said he would, and got right into the problem. After going through the motions, he found the problem, fixed it, charged a fair price, and was on his way. Thanks Mark!

Fantastic service with high attention to detail. We have had Artisan Electric to our home and to the hotel I manage. They are more than capable of handling the large jobs just as well as the small. I did I mention fantastic customer service?!

We had a great experience with D Davis Electric. Douglas got ahold of us promptly and was available to do our work right away. He was prompt and gave us great information about our problem. His rates were reasonable. We would definitely use him again.

Good people, good service, good price for a professional. (Not someone working out of their truck, then disappears)

Terrible service. Did not complete the service he was paid to do that was supposed to be warrantied yet he would not come out and repair the defective work. He did and said the warranty was no longer active. It hadn't even been 30 days. Our breaker blows immediately and he's telling us that it's nothing he can do about it. He did not do the job he was paid to do and it was FHA required.

Very profession from the quote to the installation. They fully understand customer service and it is greatly appreciated. The pricing was fair. The two gentlemen took the time to answer questions and taught me a few things too. Will use again.

Jefferson Electric hired me to teach a Solar Photovoltaic and Energy Storage National Electrical Code class. I teach a lot of classes and theses were the most qualified group that I have taught in years! They take pride in doing good work that is safe. They follow codes that are more modern than Indiana requires in order to make sure that they are installing the most safe and efficient equipment that you can buy. Tesla chose Jefferson Electric to be a Tesla authorized installer because they only choose the best! They have electricians doing all of their work and most are NABCEP certified. These guys are the best!

From start to finish the Godby team was extremely helpful, courteous and were able to get us an appointment quickly. I have already recommended them to other friends.

So, this is a complicated review. I have used Barth Electric for a few jobs. The first job was installation of a Tesla Wall charger - it was a more detailed job as they had to install another circuit panel (other two were full), plus run a 100 amp line through basement, up to garage and across ceiling. They did a great job on this in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. I also had them install a GFI outlet on our outside deck (short run from tapping an existing line in our screened in porch). For this, they charged $250 and it was done at the same time as the Tesla charger install. Again, price seemed generally fair.
My concern was on a subsequent service call. We had a service call on 9/1/16. I was having issues with the GFI Barth installed for the deck. The GFI was tripped and I was unable to get it to reset. After trying to troubleshoot myself and checking the circuit breaker I called Barth to arrange a service call.
They had someone in the area on Sept. 1 (about 4-5 days after I called) and they called me to say he would be out to check it. As it turns out, I had overlooked another GFI plug that was on the exterior brick wall of the house, inside the sunroom. The plug was located in the upper corner of the wall near the ceiling behind a speaker, so I did not know it was there. The technician saw this, pushed the reset switch on that one and everything was fine.
I completely understand the need to charge for the service call, but here is my concern. We were charged $225. My wife called and was told the minimum service call was 1 hour @ $135. I understand that and would not argue over that. The technician apparently entered a bill indicating that he was onsite for 2 hours. That is not true. We have a Ring Video Doorbell that automatically records people coming to the front door via a motion detector and sends an alert to our mobile devices. I was alerted to his arrival by this (although he knocked on the door rather than ringing the door bell) - I called my kids who were at home as I was concerned they would not hear his knocking from their bedrooms in the far corner of the home.
The video record shows that he arrived at 933 am and departed at 1005 am, 32 minutes rather than the 2 hours of time for which we were charged.
When I called about this I was told that the 2 hour charge entered by the technician was inclusive of travel time. I have to say that it seems odd to be billed for the service person's travel time to the home. It is hard to understand how it took him 90 minutes to reach us from his earlier job, especially in light of the fact that we were specifically told that they could not schedule a service date for us, but that we would be contacted when they had a service person in the area already.

Not licensed electricians. They can't ever seem to pass inspections. Never use this place. According to the State of Indiana there is no record of the them being licensed, Angie's list said the same. Many people don't ask but get proof before use them

Was with them over 10 years; mostly fine work but they have made some serious mistakes which they always fixed, but still.... I was on the Shape plan for twice yearly HVAC cleanings/checkups and they ALWAYS try to sell me things I really don't need. Recently they went to a new system that makes the tech have to take two full hours to do this check up the past 2 times they came - about half of which was spent uploading things in their system and taking movies/photos to show me why I need to buy their overpriced stuff I don't really need. Finally quit them today (the final straw) when I was told I needed air duct cleaning ($1150) and blower motor cleaning ($500)! Most other companies include blower motor cleaning as part of the twice yearly service I have since learned, so there's a ripoff. I got two quotes on air duct cleaning both for $600, and I got a blower motor cleaning quote (take it out completely and put back in) for $150. Avoid if you can.
