Got scheduled the day and time I wanted. Showed up a half hour late, but most plumbers have half hour window. Because we knew the source of the leak, they did not charge diagnostic fee. Cleaned up afterwards (for the most part). Very friendly. They only take one type of credit card and charge an extra fee if you use credit card (5%). But Jesse did a great job. Would definitely use them again! Bonded and insured.

I had a minor issue with my water softener that CWC installed almost 2 years ago (salt tank was full of water). I called and talked with a very helpful man who looked at my records and advised it was nearly time for my yearly RO filter change. He advised they could come check the water softener and change my filters together the very next day! Paul the tech arrived promptly first thing the next morning. He tested my water and explained the readings to me. He also found the source of the problem with the water softener very quickly and had the part available on his truck. He repaired it, then explained in detail what the problem was. I really appreciated his thoroughness and for telling me more about my unit. As per their warranty (7 years parts and labor), the water softener repair was no charge and the filters with installation were ~$150.

I had a bathroom leak and Hope was referred to be by a neighbor. When I called they were very open to discussing probable cause and guesstimate repair costs. They called before they came as promised, and the technician was incredibly polite, clean, explained everything. Phone guesstimate was spot on! Would definitely recommend Hope!

I was glad with quick timing and communication regarding how soon tech would arrive etc. however: I told them over the phone that my home was Red Tagged by Gas company (shut off) ...I said I need someone to figure problem out tonight hopefully -receptionist is polite and says that they can come out and assess the issue and determine where leak is tonight-and fix issue tonight as long as no foundational digging is needed...there is a $139 fee for coming and figuring out your situation. I say ok great and set apt. The tech arrives (but salesman is better description) and he comes in, asks where leak is-we say we have no idea .. he takes pictures with iPad of every gas pipe/fittings and says yeah I mean it's to code but it all needs replaced, if you want to find where your gas leak is its $989 for diagnostics and then cost to fix. Here, I'll email you quotes for cost to repair certain things and cost for total replace

Adam and his helper at Grateful Plumber were beyond anything I could've hoped for! We had a cracked toilet flange in a concrete slab, in a small space. Luckily Adams an expert and kept all the work isolated to the bathroom and got us all back together in 1 day!! I can't thank him enough for everything!! Over the last few months, my furnace has become an ongoing saga. While it's only 5-6 years old, the simple truth is it's had more than a few issues. While I believed that I had the issues resolved when the blower motor was replaced a couple months ago, I continued to have issues with a fan that simply wouldn't turn off and was massively driving up my utility bills.
I replaced the thermostat with the help of the company that replaced the blower motor, though their opinion was that a control board was likely needed. Since they'd generously offered to install the thermostat for a relatively slight fee, it was agreed that we'd see if the thermostat might help the issue.
Of course, it didn't.
I had the feeling that I needed a second opinion. I don't know why, but I just kind of felt like something was being missed. I had a friend whose ordinary heating person agreed to come look at it, but he never followed through.
So, finally, on a sick day I opted to jump on Yelp and look at some reviews. Early in the morning on a Friday, I contacted a couple companies that offer the get an estimate option. While Chapman's listing didn't offer a fast response, I added them to the list and, in fact, they were the first to respond and it was within minutes.
Due to the complexities of my explanation, they recommended I call in and talk to their scheduling person. I did. I actually talked to two people - both super friendly and helpful. The diagnostic fee was explained up front, at $98, and it was explained that even though I was pretty sure I knew the issue that this was standard to ensure nothing was missed.
While the fee struck me a bit high, I will also note I'd foolishly tossed their discount/coupon that they regularly include in neighborhood mailings. So, that was on me.
I also really just wanted a fresh set of eyes on the furnace and they offered to come by that afternoon between 1-5pm.
At around 2pm, the technician showed up. He was friendly and professional. He took some time to look, weighed what I had said and then found the real problem that, in the end, saved me quite a bit of money. It was a matter of one wire being placed in the wrong location.
That simple. Once that wire was moved? No fan issues or anything. Perfection. No control board was needed.
I learned that Chapman regularly deals with Bryant systems, the same brand as mine, and I also liked that this tech took the time to actually explain things in understandable detail. He called his service manager to make sure charging only the diagnostic fee was fine, but it was clear the intent was to say You don't need a new part. This fixes it.
I was impressed with their timeliness, their honesty, and the fact that after a couple months of being advised in a different direction that the tech truly did some diagnostics and found the issue by thinking outside the box. I liked that he considered my feedback, but trusted his own expertise and, in the end, saved me cash.
Located on the Westside, Chapman works all around Central Indiana and I won't hesitate to return to them for business as my Central Air system will likely be the next thing to need service/replaced.

I can't say enough about Bob. Our kitchen sink clogged on Friday afternoon, and he came over to snake our drain. After removing the sludge from our pipe, we realized our basement drain was clogged as well. We called him on Saturday morning, and he came over to fix that as well. With no hassle and without breaking the bank, we had a fully functioning house again. I can't say enough about Bob and his assistants. Wonderful people, and wonderful work.

Bryce and Brandon were excellent. Professional and knowledgeable. Explained what they were going to do and what they did when done. Had to replace a section of copper pipe to the water heater that leaked. Work was fairly priced. Tammy in Customer Service who scheduled my appointment was also great. This is my second time using Plumbing Paramedics and I will definitely use them again.

The representative that they sent out was very knowledgeable and explained to us the issues with the existing system. They got us a number quickly and were able to get our furnace, coil and A/C unit replaced under budget.
The technicians that installed our new system were great. They were clean cut, nicely dressed and did a great job. We were extremely happy with the service provided and will definitely use Godby again.

He then coordinated a new parts process and arrived a third time to place the new and guaranteed component in place.

Let it suffice to say that I am very disappointed with Summers. I've used their services several times in the past when I've encountered a plumbing issue, and they were always most responsive and courteous in fixing the problem. So I had no reservations about contacting them this weekend when I had an unexpected problem with my water heater. But it became obvious from the moment I spoke with their service representative by telephone (at 5:20 p.m. Saturday afternoon) that he was not enthralled with the idea of paying me a service call. Nonetheless, he reluctantly agreed to do so after completing two jobs that were ahead of me. That was the last time I heard from him. By 10:30 p.m. , he was still a no show. I would have at least expected a courtesy call from him offering an explanation for his absence, but I didn't even get that consideration. Nothing irritates me more than when a contractor makes a commitment to me and then doesn't fulfill it.
Summers - if you're listening, you need to have a conversation with this technician about his customer service skills and keeping commitments that he makes. Because you can bet that if he's done this to me, he has already - or will, do the same to another customer.

They totally destroyed the front yard, needlessly. There are things called planks....or plywood....to reduce the giant tracks left by machinery. They sent some kid out to do a half ass hack job. Not impressed at all. The front yard looks more like a gravel pit. Sewer line replaced, and after spending $$$$$$$$ to do THAT..... kid tried to sell a $70.00 drain cleaner concoction. Why would a newly replaced sewer line need cleaned? The issue was swept under the carpet and was explained away with some nonsense about a soft clog and a collapsed vent pipe !! Beware of this company. Especially if you're a senior citizen. A disgusting and unsavory way to do business.
