Jimmie Self with Who's Our Plumber is one of the most honest, fair, diligent, and knowledgeable plumbing contractors I have ever worked with.  I have hired Jimmie to work on my own house multiple times, and including 2 slab leaks that required the excavation of a portion of my garage, porch, sidewalk, and the installation of a brand new service line.   The company was not only diligent in completing the work, but also great at communicating with the my insurance company directly.   I recommend Who's your plumber to all of my real estate clients, friends, and family, and everyone has had an excellent experience related to timely service, pricing, and having their plumbing problem solved.

Had no idea til three weeks ago that Yelp had a fabulous feature...free concierge so to speak.  Yes, I did do an IRL Hoosier football wave by myself for this as if I was on the 50 yard line.  Happen stance on Yelp when I figured it out ;) .  I'm also sending a big whoop whoop for this today.  Thank you YELP!

After some disappointing efforts from other plumbers last month July/August 2022, this concierge feature on Yelp proves amazing.  

All I did was used what I had with Yelp & explained what was needed in the app then inserted pics.  Four local plumbers contacted me within seconds. A Team Plumbing Company being one of them. Adam at A Team Plumbing Company (Indianapolis) is quite stellar in the customer service department.  He far exceeded my expectations.  

Yes, we're all busy these days.  However IMO follow up is what will help a local business prosper.  Clear explanation is a plus.  Tho I'm not well versed in any technical plumbing words, Adam knew what I was referring to & what I knew was needed but couldn't say it to remedy our situation.  Per then sweating v Pex.  These words mean something else to me :).   I never felt as if Adam was trying to talk over my head or trying to make a fast buck. Thank you so much Adam!  Your patience & kindness is greatly appreciated.  

With supply chain issues, gas prices, & etc being what each Hoosier is dealing with today or trying to, these folks at A Team Plumbing Company understood this as well.  Things happened that prevented us from hiring this company.  Adam's follow ups made a positive impression on me personally.  This impression is why I'm writing this today.  I've spoken to this owner, Adam.  The vibes I received from him & his team are similar to the set of standards I have for myself.  Having it extended back to me without knowing another IRL or conducting paid business with them says more to a person like me.  

I know most definitely if or when I need Adam's expertise at A Team Plumbing Company, he will immediately contact me back to set it up.  I will be happy in doing so.

Amazing experience with David. He was extremely knowledgable about the codes and what equipment to get. He stepped in an corrected a basement sink and pump installation. While it was frustrating to be in the situation, I felt assured that David wasn't going to take advantage or take any short cuts while fixes someone else's mistakes. He communicated very well- he gave me updates on when he'd arrive for both the quote and the work. He was very professional, wore booties around the house, cleaned up all the messes from the installation and ensured we were 100% happy before leaving. He also gave a range of options for the repair/replacement; ie fix the current leak, fix the worst part vs total replacement. In addition, he let us know his work is guaranteed and to call if there are any issues.

Again, to be in a situation where someone you hired did not do the job they were supposed to, it is very frustrating and you feel very taken advantage of. David came in and completely reversed the situation and gave us a ton of advice for next steps. It was great to work with him! We will be sure to use him for all our future plumbing needs!

So I finally had it with the tapping noise in one of our bathrooms. Fearing the worst (a leak) even though I had let this go on for some time, I decided today was the day to get a leak detection done.

To my surprise, Chris and Zack actually were able to work me into their schedule on the same day. The whole process took about almost 2 hours, but they were very thorough. Fortunately, the issue wasn't a leak and was just contracting/expanding older pipes.

I really appreciated the thorough explanation and answers to my questions. Chris and Zack were friendly, and it felt like I was talking to neighbors that were helping me out rather than someone I hadn't met. Chris is the business owner, and he offered to help out in the future should the need arise (and we both hoped it won't)! It's always reassuring to know that there are reliable service providers out there who take care of their clients whether it's first time service or return business!

I have used Hamm & Son's for the last 7 years for my 1965 home in northern Indianapolis.  I have had good customer service, prompt on-time service, fair pricing, and lasting results.  I highly recommend them.  My services calls over this time have included update of sink shut off valves, replacement of toilet during upgrade, and most recently clogged main drain.

Very responsive, efficient, and reasonable fees for a repair on a sump pump! Jeff was awesome and very professional. He explained everything - great teacher! We had called another company before. They said they would come between 12 and 4pm. He arrived at 6pm! Also, their fees were double what I had to pay today and who knows... They could have cheated me into paying $1300 for another pump. So happy we used this honest plumbing company!

I needed a new toilet installed and a friend recommended Sordahl plumbing. The man who came out was knowledgeable and was able to get everything switched out quickly. It's working great! I'm having them come back next week to install some cut-off valves under the sinks. I'd recommend for efficient and good service.

I have hired them for 2 major jobs and he is always fair priced and works me in quickly. Top quality work and communicated very well ! Will always call him first for plumbing needs !

We had a plumbing leak in our basement. We called Service Plus - two different guys fiddled around the entire day and then they let us know that they were going to need help from a more senior guy who could come out later in the evening. Until then, no using water, period. They called later explaining that it would be even later than expected, possibly 10 or 11pm, which turned into later, which turned into the next morning. They sent a more senior guy who came out and said that we needed a new grinder pump which, with installation, they estimated at $7782.

Sent them away and called Covalen, who charged me $3382 with tax and installation.  Covalen, Rick 317-308-2957

These gentlemen were wonderful! They came out on a Thursday evening to give us a quote, and we're back Saturday afternoon to do the job of installing an additional outlet in the garage. They were very thorough on the planning, and the checked a couple times to make sure they were doing what we wanted. They were very well priced, courteous, quick with their work, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely use them again for future electrical projects.

So I originally left a review two months ago in regards to a specific tech Shaun and have very rude, disrespected and racist he treated me and handled himself.  I even mentioned how the other tech that was with him was very professional, respectful and handled himself wonderful.  I even called in to speak with someone about the matter before leaving a review on here, Google and the company.  Everything that I expressed was exactly what happened.  I was not upset at the company but the tech Shaun.  I even thought that leaving the reviews the company would contact me to resolve the issues.  Well that is not what happened at all.  They actually told my boss that I left all these reviews and that reviews like that hurt their business.  Well if something hurts your business and that is not how your company handles themselves then you would resolve the issue and even issue an apology.  Not what happened at all.  This company actually made it as if how I was treated by a tech that works for their company was nothing and I should not have left a review.  Not okay at all!!  I was treated how I was by your tech and no one in two months reached out to resolve the issue.  Not even when I asked the woman who I spoke with on the phone personally for some to contact.  I am not a child but a grown African American woman how demands respect and to be handled in a professional manner.  So at this point this company has now dug another hole for themselves instead of handling the issue at hand the appropriate way.  Do not ever go to someone else to tell on me as if your have that right.  Your tech was inappropriate, out of line, rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and racist to me.  Not my problem but his. If you chose to not deal with it then you are part of the problem also.

No longer, after 10 + years, doing business with Acme Plumbing in Indianapolis.  A $269 service call to snake a line.  Their guys are on straight commission so each time the pricing has increased by 15-20%.  Called Lawrence Plumbing who is $169.  I am all about small biz owners making a profit, but enough is enough.  #fedup.

Kit was WONDERFUL! he responded very quickly to my request for a home inspection and quote. He showed up when he said he would and sent me a lot of photos of the items that needed to be repaired. He also gave me a referral for the items he couldn't fix. He is a great guy! I highly recommend him. Thanks Kit!

We have had plumbers from Johnson replace shut off valves and do a yearly inspection.  They were very professional job, very concerned with the quality of their work, and very patient with any questions we had.  I would highly recommend them.

I had plumbing issues and called ARS our first. I took off two days of work and waited for 2 different techs to come out. First tech said we had no clean out and would have a guy out to install one the next day, and said they had financing. Never told us a price, never looked at a thing. That was late Friday. Tuesday rolls around to our next appointment. Another gentleman comes out. Also doesn't look at a thing. Throws out an estimate for $2700 for a new cleanout.

I had another company come out, actually look, and installed a cleanout for $490. Wasted time on ARS to still have no problem fixed.

Called Maxwell & Sons Plumbing and they fixed us right up with no hassle, no crazy costs, and no back hoe to fuck up my yard for maybe 20 inches of digging.

Watch out for the reviews you see here.  I had two clogged toilets in my home and worried that my sewer pipe (which collapsed a year earlier) was the issue, again.  Filed a claim with my Home Warranty only to find out that this time they sent a different plumber than the one who did the work.  I looked these guys up on YELP and freaked out over the poor ratings.  I had no choice, however, as my HW company no longer worked with the other plumber and according to my HW these were the only guys available to come out on the same day.  When I spoke with the girl in the office @ LD Smith I expressed my fears and she understood my concern.  Shawn, who came to solve my problem, was timely, courteous, & professional.  I would certainly want him to come out again if I had any other issues in the future.  If you're concerned, call them first....don't just assume that what you see on YELP is correct (they apparently purged all the good reviews and left the bad ones from only the last year or so....check out this business' rating on Google for more reviews).

Called to have a pluged drain repaired yesterday. Service tech showed up today as scheduled, pulled in the drive and said that there were trees in the yard so he was afraid to work on the problem. He didn't even know for sure what the problem was! Maybe he should have aranged for a qualified plumber to meet him!!!!!!!!!! Sorry excuse for a plumbing company.

Worst drain cleaning company in the city. Secretary who answers phones has an awful attitude. Extremely unprofessional company....DO NOT USE.

BUYER BEWARE! PROCEED WITH CAUTION! In my effort to assist my aged parents with a 2 yr old water heater issue that Summers installed previously, it was immediately discovered how UNRESPONSIVE, UNSCRUPULOUS, and UNETHICAL this company is. Upon request, my 85 y/o father received a quick quote to replace the newer water heater for discounted rate of $760+/-, even with a purchased maintenance plan offered by Summers. However, after I interceded for further explanation and responsiveness, their reaction was slow. It took significant persistence, and a different service technician to offer a similar solution to replace the water - not repair it.
Since I knew the water heater is still under warranty, the idea of paying for a new water heater was unusual. Therefore, I requested an additional explanation. A Supervisor called me and did not offer any sound or reasonable justifications for the required fee to replace (FYI, the discussion was comical with his attempt to justify). Shortly into our conversation, he immediately offered a 50% discount (which in itself was an unusual compromise, if he felt the fee was justified). He attempted to gauge my reaction like a used car salesman and met reluctance instead because my father should pay nothing = $0.00. In conclusion, the supervisor approved the work order without fees.

Do I feel like I won? HECK NO. I feel like a dodged a bullet.
I was NOT trying to win or get something for free...only sound justification to pay fairly.

This company obviously has an unscrupulous practice to deceive when convenient or possible. If they can get a few bucks easy...the will try. If there is any push-back or reluctance from the customer then acquiesce and chalk-it-up for a good try

Homeowners, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THIS PRACTICE. IF you feel like you're being unfairly treated...you probably are.
