My water heater stopped heating and I called a couple of Indy-based companies to try and figure out what was wrong. First company made a quick assessment and said we should replace at least the heating elements and maybe the thermostat too, just to be safe; this would have been $500-800. I reached out to Plumb On to get me a second quote since that first one felt high.
Corey came out and spent 45 minutes or so thoroughly diagnosing the problem. It turns out that none of the hardware components were broken, and Corey identified the true problem: a loose wire and a bad connection, which he fixed within a few minutes. He didn't even charge me for the dispatch out of consideration for my having paid $90 to the first company. Impeccable. This is the kind of person/company you want to give your business to.

Al has taken care of all of our plumbing needs since 2021 when our kitchen and master bathroom renovation contractor destroyed parts of our house and parts of our plumbing. For the next 2 years we had a ton of plumbing issues and Al has fixed all of them. He has installed a new water heater, a new water softener, fixed the botched plumbing in our master shower, and installed a new sump pump. He's also come out to fix little things not related to our renovation - like a bathroom shower head with low water pressure. Whenever we contact him, he gets back to us very quickly and gets to our house quickly, also. He's friendly, affordable, very knowledgeable, and is always there to answer any questions or concerns we have. We would recommend him to anyone needing a great plumber!

I had an appointment to install a battery backup sump pump in my basement. I previously purchased a new system that needed to have the old pump cut off and the new pump glued on and two switches attached at appropriate levels to activate the pump and indicate high water. 3 technicians showed up and informed me it was going to cost $525 or I had to pay $65 because they came out. I told them I had the right to refuse an unreasonable quote and I wasn't going to pay $65 for a crappy quote that they could have given me on the phone. I offered time and materials and they refused as they are only allowed to work according to accepted quotes. I always thought quotes were developed based on time /labor and materials and not just made up sight unseen. I am an older guy with a heart condition. I know what this job entails. I just can't do it myself. I don't expect to be taken advantage of but $525 is CRAZY.

Made a referral through my home warranty. Did not reach out to us. I called them eventually and set an appointment for a Wednesday between 12-6. Took half a day off of work. Showed up Wednesday at 7:00 PM w/ no call or confirmation he was still coming. Stayed for 7 minutes. Clearly did not even test the drain. Did not fix the leak. Called less than 10 minutes after he left. No response. Called approximately 10 times the next three days. Nobody at the office, nobody returned calls, nobody acknowledged the job was not finished.
Contacted my HW again and they finally set another appointment with me the next week between 1 and 5 pm. Took another half day off of work. Never showed up again. Never called again. Never heard from them again. Lost two half days of work and still have a leak. The worst experience I've had with a plumber.

After calling several plumbers about getting a battery backup sump pump for my basement I talked to R and R. They did the plumbing in my new house and were fixing a few items so I asked how much there cost was. They were 50% less than two others. I new that the other two seemed high so was relieved to find a reasonable cost. Plumber was great got here right on time also they use a good zoller pump and maintenance free battery. Took them around 1hr to complete. It's one of those items you don't want to use but glad to have it done.

I work in private home management and have worked with WCA in the past but it was in 2016. Recently, I fired another service provider because every time they touched the home owners units, there was an issue and the unit is only 7 yrs old. Home owner turned the heat off in late March during a wamr spell and whe she turned it back on, there was air and no heat.
So at the home owners request, I called WCA. There was a long hold time so I requested a call back. By the next day at 11am, I had recieved none so I tried again. I was told by the automated system I had 3 min of hold time, then two, then one and then one again?! And then I got connected.... to the answering service.... and then I got on Yelp to review my experience and viola-barely 3 stars... Not surprised.. Seems WCA should invest in some customer service and total quality management.

I had previously replaced the piping under the bathroom sink, but could not stop it from leaking. So, I purchased a Groupon for Snappy Services LLC and called to schedule an appointment. It was explained to me during the call, that the Groupon would only cover the service fee and the woman went on about other deals I could've gotten if I hadn't already bought a Groupon. I then explained my situation with the bathroom sink. I stated that if they could repair what I did, that would be fine, but I'd prefer to replace the piping under the sink because what I had used was cheap and not functioning. We scheduled for Friday, because it was the only date that somebody would be home and I explained that it would be my adult children.
The next day, Thursday, I was at work and got a call from my daughter because the technician from Snappy Services was headed to my house, despite the fact that we had scheduled for Friday. I had to call them and let them know it was the wrong day. No big deal.
Friday came, the plumbers came to my house. I, again, was at work. The plumbers stayed less than an hour and ran the water in the sink. They stated that they re-aligned the piping and that there was no leak. They left, never once opening their toolbox.
When I arrived home from work, I ran the water in the bathroom. Upon looking, none of the piping had been replaced and low and behold... it still leaks. On Monday, I attempted to call and explain that nothing had been done, and the lady went on and on about the Groupon. And how the plumbers supposedly added plumbers tape and sealant, and that there must be a bigger issue.
I don't care about the Groupon. I had already spent the money. I wanted the piping under my sink replaced. I had left my debit card with my adult kids to pay for it, and had budgeted for the repair. I had asked for it to be redone, it still isn't fixed. They lost a paying customer because they assumed that someone who buys a Groupon is cheap. They assumed that I didn't have the money for their services because I tried to find a more cost effective way to do things. I never received a quote for replacement. And although the plumbers were kind, they did nothing. Literally just wasted my time.
