Best Plumbing Services in Illinois
Jesse is an amazing plumber!! Bought a fixer-upper and he did a meticulous job re-plumbing the entire house--there was no detail left undone and with his full knowledge and explanation as well as his pricing I could not have been more comfortable entrusting him with this huge undertaking--I might also add, I am somewhat fussy and he was immaculate in his work habits:))
I continue to have friends thank me for sending him their way.

My family, friends and I have hired Don to help with all sorts of different tasks: plumbing, clean up, door lock repairs, he even hung a large picture on the hall above my stairs, which was really tricky to get at. He does it all! Very responsive, reasonable rates and Don is just a pleasure to work with.

Jason is amazing! Very responsive, thorough and detailed oriented. He is helpful in providing guidance on things you wouldn't even think about. He helped me when I first moved into my house and didn't even charge me to measure out the specs for blinds in the new place. Such a nice guy too! Highly recommend calling Petersen Home Solutions!

Scott's a good guy and a very good plumber. We've been calling him for about 10 years and he does great work at a reasonable price.

I contacted this business based on a recommendation from a local hardware store that I trust.
When I called on a Monday, I was told that a plumber would be out same-day. Great! My issue is simple and I looked forward to having it fixed in short order. A few hours later, a dispatcher from Zoom called me to tell me that the office made a mistake, that they were a little overbooked, and that they wouldn't be able to come out until that Wednesday at 3:00pm. I said no problem, see you Wednesday.
I called the office on Wednesday morning to confirm my appointment for that afternoon. The office said that I'm not on the schedule, but they had me on the schedule for the previous Monday which already passed. I explained to them how I had been rescheduled on Monday and that no one has come to provide service yet. They said no problem and that they would add me to the schedule for that day, Wednesday. I said okay sounds good.
Around 4pm on that same Wednesday, I called the office again and asked for a time frame for when a technician might be able to come to my house. I was worried that no one would show up since it was so close to the end of the day. The person I spoke to said they could put in a request for an after-hours technician to come out that night. I said that I didn't want to pay extra for after-hours service, as my issue is not an emergency, and that I would take an appointment the following day. The person in the office told me that they would schedule me for the following morning at 9am. I said sounds good, see you tomorrow morning.
This morning around 9:30am I called Zoom to confirm my appointment since no one had showed yet. The person in the office said that I was on the schedule for today, but scheduled for the afternoon. I expressed my confusion at being scheduled in the afternoon since last night I was told they would be here at 9am. I explained my frustration with the scheduling process and that I've been trying to book an appointment since Monday. The person in the office told me that they would reach out to the dispatcher to find out when the technician would be available and they would personally call me back to let me know. I said that would be great, thank you.
That person never called me back. So, about 20 minutes ago, I called the office again to see if I am on the schedule for today and, if I am, when the technician would show up. This person told me that I am on the schedule for today but that they cannot give an estimate of when the technician will arrive because the technicians determine their own schedules based on the complexity of the job. The window that the office is supposed to give for an appointment is all day.
At this point, I asked to be taken off the schedule insofar as I was ever on it.
All of the people who I talked to were perfectly polite and well-intended, but I think they are experiencing serious issues with scheduling.
I really tried to give this business my money, but I don't think they actually want it. I cannot recommend that anyone else try to schedule service through this business until they resolve whatever issues are plaguing their scheduling system.
I will be reaching out to the hardware store to let them know about my experience as well.

Most people aren't aware that some of us still have grease traps in the basement, i had one! It exploded and distributed stinking grease all over my laundry room, foul odor! Called the first plumber (won't mention by name), who gave me a time but they were a no show! Started the search over and First Chance popped up, young man answered the phone, gave me the same day time appointment and he showed up! Thank God! He gave me an estimate, which I felt was reasonable, Daniel and Bob completed the work, which looks good and works perfectly! Highly recommend First Chance plumbers!

My sump pump went out in the middle of the night and they came out right away and fixed it

Eugene Plumber was unbelievable. Responded to me in less than 24 hours with an appointment time for that day regarding my garbage disposal. Made the trip to Home Depot for me to pick up new product and installed in under an hour. Price was very fair. Kind and efficient. Would absolutely use him again. Thanks !

Our basement sump pump was making a noise do to it's age so we had CCP come out and replace it. We are extremely happy with the work that was done. We can now sleep peacefully at night without the old pumps noise. Also their rates are reasonable. Very nice and respectful plumber. I highly recommend this plumbing company. I'll post some pictures my wife took.

First, my tech Harold #2004 was great! Very professional, figured out what was wrong with my sink quickly and fixed the part. Also, got a couple phone calls from dispatch and took them quietly in the bathroom while I was on a conference call for work. Harold gets a 5.
As for RotoRooter themselves, I wish they were anywhere close to Harold. Originally I was told they would be here on Tuesday at 4pm, only to find out it was a 4-hour window from 4pm - 8pm. And then at about 5:30pm got a call that they didn't have any techs available and would have to reschedule to Thursday AM from 8am - 12pm. I had to take off of work both times.
Got a call at 8:30am on Thursday that Harold would be here within an hour...only to call back an hour later and be told Harold was still another 20 minutes away. Then finally after about 40 minutes Harold showed up.
Lastly, the prices seemed really high. They use a flat rate, so I know he was just quoting me the price for the exact service that was in his book, but over $430 to fix a pretty simple P Trap pipe piece seems high.
So, RotoRooter got the job done. Once on-site Harold was great, but the prices and customer service prior to his arrival was fairly frustrating.
Work with them at your own risk and with appropriate work flexibility.

We needed a plumber, it was Easter weekend and wasn't sure we would be able to get a plumber at such short notice. I called Jim early Saturday morning, made awn appointment for the next morning. Jim got to our house at 9:00 and fixed our plumbing issue in no timed flat. He was accurate, and affordable. Jayde and Derrick

Our steam boiler wasn't turning on this morning. (Also yesterday morning, and we had our usual company come and fix it). Our usual company wasn't answering their so-called 24 hour phone line, so I called Kuhn Plumbing. They answered the phone, had someone out here in just over an hour, on Saturday, Christmas Eve, when it was 8° out. He fixed the problem (which was unrelated to yesterday's issue, so not complaining about our usual service, except for them not answering the phone) in 45 minutes, and was awesome. Thank you, Kuhn Plumbing and your tech, James.

Worst plumbing company I've ever done business with. Two guys came out late at night and one never even entered my home, but yet I get charged for both of them. Furthermore, the one that did come in basically just looked around and said yup, you've got a leak. We don't know where it's coming from.

No Call. No Show. No Response. Had a new kitchen sink and faucet installation scheduled for this morning at 8:00. Cristian and I spoke on the phone and via text, I sent photos at his request, and he gave me a price of $500 for the job. I reached out last night to confirm the installation this morning, but I received no response. I tried calling and texting this morning as well but received no answer and no response. It's now after 9:00... At least I didn't give these guys any money.

The plumber was efficient, knowledgable, and nice. The two problems with my sink seemed to be fixed but a couple months later one issue returned (reduced cold water pressure). They came back, discovered the root cause (a coil thing that kinked up over time), replaced another part and did not charge me. I appreciate that they guarantee their work. The guy who came the second time was also very nice and knowledgable and he spent a lot of time investigating the mystery cause of the problem.

This company isn't actually a local plumbing company and is just a shell. They're Beverly plumbing and asked me how to spell Damen Avenue. They told me they'd contact a tech and and get back to me about how fast someone could get out to me. Ten minutes later I called back and asked for an update and they had forgotten and asked me to call back in another two minutes

Terry Cox and his so called partner, Ray prey on the elderly. They were referred by a City of Chicago water inpector to do a big plumbing job for my father, whom is a retired City of Chicago worker. The first estimate was $7,000, the next day my dad was presented with a contract of $22,000 for repairs, which he paid. However, they left the place in shambles everyday with exposed safety hazards. 3 day job took 2 weeks with daily issues that were popping up to add to my father's total expenses. Several complaint calls were made to Terry Cox the owner, he would screen his calls and returnm the calls two to three days later. When Terry Cox went out of town, Ray his nephew requested an additional $2200 in cash from my father and begged my father not to let the owner Terry Cox know of this transaction. Once Terry was notified he came on site, he stated he would replace the concrete porch and the landscaping due to the unprofessional behavior from his nephew. They replaced the porch with no support and the landscaping is less than, to say the least. There are large spaces between the concrete and the dirt. There is even a family of stray cats living in the space. When we threatened litigation, Ray called and used profanity and was threatening towards two family members. We are now pursuing action with the BBB and Lisa Madigan's office and have contacted several news stations' investigative reporters. These thieves that prey on the elderly need to be put out of business!!!!!
