This was the second time they had to come out in a year and a half to ride out my pipes I asked him to call me before he did the work did to work anyways cuz my neighbor in the back we share the same pipe had to leave him three messages before he finally called me back he denied that he got my messages and claimed that he called me which I never received needless to say he advertises rotting out for $199 on his website with outside access which he did have and he did it for the outside and sent the bill for $525 total rip-off would never use him again when I asked him about the work that was done Greg himself told me next time call somebody else and hung up on me be very aware of this guy I think he got too big for his britches

I have used Schmitz Bros on 3 different occasions and each time I tell my friends how great they are. Honest and reliable as well as affordable. He is not going to rip you off. This is truly my favorite repair go to guy. Bob is the best!!

Anyway, this is my go-to plumber. It's actually 2 brothers-Matt and Dan, and I've only ever had Matt do work, but his brother Dan was super nice on the phone and my guess is he's good too.

Matt first saved us last year when we had a clogged sink that us, Roto-Rooter, and another local, well-reviewed plumber couldn't fix. We were told that it would cost thousands to fix and would require a lot of work. We were pretty desperate. But Matt fixed it! We were so so grateful.

Tonight we had yet another issue with a leaking hose under the sink. I think Matt was on his way home when I called, but came over and fixed it. Again, so grateful. I feel like he always goes out of his way for us and does a good job for a fair price. Yay Murphy plumbing!

We had them out twice for our bathroom.  The first time was when my wife broke the shower handle off while the water was running and we could not get it turned off.  They came out on an emergency call and fixed the problem.  We then had them back out when the bathroom project proceeded.  I have no complaints and would not hesitate to have them back out.  They are true professionals.

Joe came out to my house 2 weeks after my husband passed away.  He was reliable, kind and very professional!  He left me feeling like I could totally trust and count on him. Today I called Joe again and he was quick to respond, came to my house and took care of the problem. I will tell all my friends and anyone looking for the best plumber out there.

Came by and fixed my nasty clogged toilet super quick, and it was after a 5 on a Friday. Would call back again for sure (hopefully I don't have to but good to know I can get a problem fixed quick)!

Today I dropped a piece of electric razor down the sink drain. Given my incompetence when it comes to plumbing, I immediately thought I'd need a plumber to take apart the pipes to get it out. But when I called Terry's in hopes of scheduling an appointment, they instead recommended I use a shop vac to suction the thing out. Thanks for the tip -- I appreciate the honesty and thoughtfulness, and saving me time and money!

It's about time I give this place a shout out.  Catch basin/lines cleaning.  We get a lot of gunk...Chicago living.  Reliable and affordable.

Sewer problem in the house.  Called H20 Plumbing and they actually answer the phone!  Very nice service to schedule a visit.  Arrived on time and did a great job, then gave me a summary of what was wrong.

I had called 3 other plumbers prior to H20, none answered the phone and none called back.

H2O is who I will call next time.

Mike and his team did a fabulous job of pulling me out of a terrible plumbing situation with my grease trap. He was honest, paid attention to detail and was creative; the perfect combination for a plumber. He saved me a lot of money. I will definitely be using his services for all future plumbing needs.

On a Friday evening they were responsive and gave us a fair quote. American Sewer arrived within the quoted time and quickly replaced the sump pump at a fair and reasonable rate. Ver kind! Will use again!

I was impressed with Joe when he came out to look at my project. Unfortunately, they left me hanging for 4 weeks with no communication even though they had promised to provide an estimate within a few days. I could have been talking to other plumbers but I thought I would be working with Allison Plumbing. Now my project is delayed and I am frustrated by the disconnect between my experience and the other Yelp reviews.

I had a broken city sewer line. I was told they would do all the work to get this fixed as soon possible. I was the one who had to contact the city to insure the issue was fixed in a timely manner. I was not contacted when service appointments where made. My contact info was not updated after multiple requests. After canceling an appointment due to a funeral via the text message which indicated I could reply to. They showed up anyway. When I told the technician they where not to be on the property because I was not home. They still went ahead and worked on the property. They did not fill the hole correctly and laid cement when it was too cold to do so. The hole was caved in and cement cracked by the next morning. When they where done the technician then called me to demand payment after being told he was not to work on the property. He was told
To just finish the job regardless by his management. When setting up appointment to correct the issue, and having to cancel due to rain and freezing temperatures I was given a hard time and they tired to tell me I could not reschedule the appointment for work on my property. On the day of the appointment it was once again raining they went ahead and laid concrete. Due to the rain the top layer washed off which means it's going to eventually collapse again. And I will have to fix the patch.

I would never use this company again. It was a pain, and they have horrible customer service.

Edit: I forgot to add they showed multiple unprepared for the appointment. Lacking the correct equipment. Or not knowing what was to be done on that day.
