Mike came out on a Sunday morning to bail me out of trouble on a handy man project. Great guy, did fast work. Will definitely be my go-to plumber

Loved working with Don and his son! I had a broken dishwasher, and I thought I would have to spend almost $1k to replace it. But Don & son saved the day! They were fast, efficient, and price was very reasonable. I'd recommend them to anyone who is in need of repairs.

Jason is a jack of all trades. He installed a new kitchen sink and faucet, put in a new outdoor security light, and installed a shelf for me all in the same day without multiple
trips to the Home Depot. He came prepared!
He explains what he will be doing and welcomes question unlike most workman. His pricing is clear, upfront, and quite fair.
It is pleasure to work with someone who returns your calls, shows up on time, and does quality work. I highly recommend him and I will use him in the future

I had to write another review about Marhofke Plumbing because honestly Scott has bailed me out quite a few times. This last go around was because my 5 year old kitchen faucet was just coming unglued. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was because it had been installed improperly. After Scott replaced it, not only did it work well but the ease of how it worked was unbelievable. I had struggled with it all those years and didn't know. Scott of course gave the previous plumber the benefit of the doubt but there was no doubt in my mind. One knows what he's doing and many others do not.
So if you are in his Bartlett, Streamwood, Hanover Park area don't even look for anyone else.
This is the tradesman you want.

Most people aren't aware that some of us still have grease traps in the basement, i had one! It exploded and distributed stinking grease all over my laundry room, foul odor! Called the first plumber (won't mention by name), who gave me a time but they were a no show! Started the search over and First Chance popped up, young man answered the phone, gave me the same day time appointment and he showed up! Thank God! He gave me an estimate, which I felt was reasonable, Daniel and Bob completed the work, which looks good and works perfectly! Highly recommend First Chance plumbers!

Usually, I dont do reviews, but I have to post and rave about Eugene.
1. Responsive time was within 10 minutes
2. He quoted me a price for one of my showers that wasn't draining, and I asked for a $20 discount, which he agreed(price is super reasonable)
3. He said he would arrive between 6.30pm and 7.00pm( He arrived at 6.45pm).. Punctual
4. Fixed the problem, then proceeded to check all the other bathrooms and sinks to make sure everything was draining properly for no extra charge.
5. Paid him the original price he quoted for a job well done; he sent a text 1 hour later saying I overpaid him by $20( discount) and would zelle it back( Honesty)
All these qualities are rare to find nowadays... I highly recommend him for all your plumbing work..My new go-to guy..Thank you Eugene..

Our basement sump pump was making a noise do to it's age so we had CCP come out and replace it. We are extremely happy with the work that was done. We can now sleep peacefully at night without the old pumps noise. Also their rates are reasonable. Very nice and respectful plumber. I highly recommend this plumbing company. I'll post some pictures my wife took.

I am a repeat customer and had drain work and ejector pump work done previously over an 8 year period. It was expensive but I have not had any problems with the work thereafter.
With the big rain on 4/17/13 I called at 7PM to schedule a sump pump replacement asking if they could come same evening (24/7 service). I as told by the dispatcher they are swamped with calls and said they could have a plumber out the next day between 10AM-1PM. Given the circumstance and moderate urgency of my issue I was okay with this time. The next morning the water had seeped and just about covered the entire basement floor. So, rather than go in to the office I exercised my option to work from home. Although dispatch called me every 1.5 hours since 9:30AM to notify me they were backed up and that a plumber would be free in the next hour it was only after about six calls from dispatch around 8:00PM that I was told they were running out of sump pumps! I knew this to be true as I called hardware stores as a standby. So, I finally put my LOUD ROUGH voice on, used a few choice words with the dispatcher (Jim C.) and a plumber was at my door step in 30 minutes.
If it were not for the plumber, Ariaion #601, I would be giving this service call 1 star. However, his professionalism and expertise was great. He was thorough, informative and efficient with the installation and he gave me the sense that a quality pump (Zoeller) was being installed - backed by a 1 year RR warranty on all parts and labor as well as the mfg's warranty. Again, it was expensive but given the previous work RR performed I believe it will perform and last better than what I could install.
The scheduling was very poor planning...I would like to think it was the demand of the area. It's a shame that I had to raise my voice and curse at the dispatcher to finally get service....should NEVER resort to that...
However, the actual service was excellent ad the plumber is not responsible for that...and in the end - this is the third good job RR has done. That is what my rating is based on. I am supposed to get a call from the area manager per the dispatcher to follow-up...we'll see...If I do, I'll send another rating with 4 stars.

The guy is always bug eyed and had a white powder substance all over his nose.
His wife wasn't much help because she doesn't know how to spell or text.
Aggravating service. Not worth it. Find actual Professional people who are up to date with plumbing... He still thinks it's the late 70s.

I have worked with Kuhn for about ten years. Tonight, Saturday 5pm, I received a call from a customer who had water leaking out of the ceiling and walls. She agreed with me that we should call Kuhn's emergency number to have them come over and diagnose. When I called the number, none other than the lead plumber answered. He was just on his way to a wedding! He immediately adjusted his schedule to go to do this emergency service call. Very great company to work with.

They are absolutely the best plumbing company I have ever worked with. They are always on time, professional and get the job done.

No Call. No Show. No Response. Had a new kitchen sink and faucet installation scheduled for this morning at 8:00. Cristian and I spoke on the phone and via text, I sent photos at his request, and he gave me a price of $500 for the job. I reached out last night to confirm the installation this morning, but I received no response. I tried calling and texting this morning as well but received no answer and no response. It's now after 9:00... At least I didn't give these guys any money.

If I could post negative stars... I would. These people suck!! They're too old and absolutely CANNOT do simple jobs. Too expensive. Take up tons of time. Require 3-5 days for simple things. Don't follow through. Never again

This company isn't actually a local plumbing company and is just a shell. They're Beverly plumbing and asked me how to spell Damen Avenue. They told me they'd contact a tech and and get back to me about how fast someone could get out to me. Ten minutes later I called back and asked for an update and they had forgotten and asked me to call back in another two minutes

Terry Cox and his so called partner, Ray prey on the elderly. They were referred by a City of Chicago water inpector to do a big plumbing job for my father, whom is a retired City of Chicago worker. The first estimate was $7,000, the next day my dad was presented with a contract of $22,000 for repairs, which he paid. However, they left the place in shambles everyday with exposed safety hazards. 3 day job took 2 weeks with daily issues that were popping up to add to my father's total expenses. Several complaint calls were made to Terry Cox the owner, he would screen his calls and returnm the calls two to three days later. When Terry Cox went out of town, Ray his nephew requested an additional $2200 in cash from my father and begged my father not to let the owner Terry Cox know of this transaction. Once Terry was notified he came on site, he stated he would replace the concrete porch and the landscaping due to the unprofessional behavior from his nephew. They replaced the porch with no support and the landscaping is less than, to say the least. There are large spaces between the concrete and the dirt. There is even a family of stray cats living in the space. When we threatened litigation, Ray called and used profanity and was threatening towards two family members. We are now pursuing action with the BBB and Lisa Madigan's office and have contacted several news stations' investigative reporters. These thieves that prey on the elderly need to be put out of business!!!!!
