They are great. On time, super nice, professional, good communication, very helpful answered all my questions. Spoke to my building management with me to help clear up issue.

This was the first time I called a plumber and they could not have been more helpful.

Highly highly recommend.

They came out quickly and timely gotta give 'em that. $85 to tell me what I already knew and $315 to fix it but If I needed a new cartridge for my shower handle to work properly then that would be an extra $705 and they would discount that $50. I can buy an entire MOEN shower unit for less that $300. Called a couple other plumbers and they quoted less than $400. The owner of this company has himself a good game going. Should have done my due diligence I'd have $85 additional dollars in my pocket.

Behind a visit fee is a true face of the company out to rip off people. Even when I gave the detail of the toilet problem: a broken nut of the bolt in one side of the toilet, they can give you an estimate unless you paid for $89 visit fee. When the service person comes in, they give you a $586 or $486 charge (after you scream out the fee). If you want to rip people off, please raise the visit fee because you will need it to cover for bad review. You could have given the estimate over the phone so not to waste people time. I guess nowadays you need that visitation fee to stay afloat.

I had a major pipe issue that they handled in a trustworthy and efficient manner. Clear and constant communication throughout the whole process. The technicians were amazing to work with. Highly recommend

Be aware of some issues I had as a customer.
I had an appointment with Four Season with a 3 hour window...they didn't show and didn't even call...I had waited the 3 hours. I made another appointment because I needed three hose spigots repaired due to a little leaking. Perhaps new ones are needed?, I asked. The plumber said they were. He was so obese he had trouble reaching under the kitchen cabinet to take a look...so I held a flashlight for him and he looked from afar. He had such extreme body oder (not perspiration...more acrid than that) that it was hard to be near him to talk. I also needed a new thermostat installed in my shower...I had the part from the manufacturer. I asked how much it would be to install the thermostat..he quoted $374.00 and the new spigots would be $587.00 each...I needed 3 (wow!). He said I needed to cut into the walls to install cut-off valves for them, even though I can turn the water off for the building. He would have to cut holes in two of my interior walls and one wall under my kitchen cabinet 13 x 13 inches and I would have to hire a carpenter to put plates over the holes (pretty!), because they don't do carpentry. He had told me they would have to come back to do the work, since he wasn't a plumber...he said he was an assessor. Five times he said they needed 24 hour notice to others in the building (two other units). I told him (5 times) that the other units were aware and agreed to my turning off the water that day. Something was wrong...he was hard to understand and at times made no sense, it was hard to follow him. I told him I had hoped to get my shower fixed that day since I had the part...he then said he would install it...(he was a plumber after all!!). He had told us the prices and wanted to have a signature to OK the quote even if it was for a later date. I didn't notice he had changed the quote for the shower to $550.00, maybe after I signed. It took 45 minutes). He said he checked after installation and all was working perfectly. When he left...he had shut off the cold water to the shower in error and the water was 110 degrees and could not be turned down (Yikes!!!)  Later I asked him why the charge had changed from what he quoted. He told me it was because I wasn't doing all the work at once, since I decided to postpone the spigot work until later. (He hadn't told me that.) Another guy came the next day to correct his faulty work. This guy was great. A couple of days later, my neighbor had a handyman doing some work and I asked him to take a look. He said the spigots only needed a couple of cheap washers which were easy to install from the outside and showed me how to do it (scam alert!!!). Dealing with customer service was difficult too. They said they weren't known for being inexpensive! I eventually got a refund for the change in price from the verbal quote...but only after the mention of the BBB of Chicago. Previously, they just seemed to want to argue.
PersonalIy, I would never trust them. It seems that they are more interested seeing how much money they can get out of you than doing good honest work, which they didn't do either. I saved about $1800.00 by not doing the unnecessary work they suggested. Btw, my plumbing was only 20 years old and had been inspected by the city and passed. Everything was up to code.

Water had gathered in our sink at 3 am in the morning.  I live in a 125 year old building and the plumbing is complicated.  Without his knowledge the plumber inadvertently made a hole in our neighbors apartment line.  Water spewed over her apartment.

4 Seasons not only made the situation right in both of our apartments, they also did not charge us.  I highly recommend them and their professionalism is without stating.  We would ask for them again!

So, yesterday I had a slight flooding issue with the rain. Apparently there was a complete blockage of roots in our sewer line in front of our house heading to the main city line. This caused the rain from our gutters (that drain directly into the sewer) to back up and up-flow through the basement floor drains. Thank God I had a water pump and a woman that resembles the we can do it girl, lol. She was amazing. Anyhow. We just had our sewer roto rooted a few weeks prior. I think it broke some stuff loose and ended up causing a complete blockage last night. That job ended up costing $325.

Turns out through Google search, 4 seasons not only has heating and air, apparently they also have plumbers, I never really paid attention. So I called them and they came out the same day and did a temporary rooting that cost $199.. Wayyy cheaper than the other guy. He told us that it only clears a path of about 2-3 inches out of the 6in pipe. If we want a complete fix of the 6in pipe we should get it jetted (water pressure rooted).

So they came out the next day (today) and showed me a video of the roots that blocked about 90% of the sewer pipe. We had a pumping also scheduled to pump out the grease trap in our back yard sewer, but when Mike popped the sewer cap, he told us we didn't need the pump and only the jetting. That saved us about $500.

I don't know about you, but I'm my experience, a lot of contractors tend to up charge rather than saving us money.

Normally I don't post recommendations, but crap, $500 is $500. He could have easily pumped it out and charged us, I didn't know any better. I just don't want my place flooding. But after everything, he informed us, showed us what to look for, took care of our poor draining of our tub, everything on point. Highly recommend.

They have a customer for life. 100%
THANK YOU Mike at Four seasons.

Mo is an angel of a plumber who went out of his way to fix my tub spout in a very smart way which saved me from having to rip apart and repatch a wall. He diagnosed all of the problems and found us the cheapest solution in 2 bathrooms. And he was a pleasure to be around (the job took a long time!). Highly recommend!

We had Gene out to deal with some plumbing issues. He did a great job.  After listening attentively to our interpretation of the situation and then evaluating it for himself, he figured out what needed to be done and then took care of everything.

Gene showed a lot of respect for us and our property while moving around the house and he got the job done in a very reasonable amount of time and at a fair price.

This was our first experience with Gene and we'd definitely ask for him again.

Since Four Seasons won't call me back this is my only recourse I guess. I'd rather talk to them about the poor service I got but if they aren't interested, here ya go internet community.

I'll ignore the sewer water splatters on the wall and the poorly re mounted toilet, but I can't ignore the endless backups I've had since they cleaned my sewer lines four months ago. My receipt says the sewer was rodded to 90 ft. I just had it rodded and scoped again and guess what we found? A stuck rodding line at about 50 ft. After my basement flooded I was forced to dig up the sewer line and have it replaced. Quick math, how much roddjng line was left down there to pull out? Yep, 40 ft. So they either didn't actually rod past 50, or they left 40 there. The *quality* company I had dig my pipe up informed me the cable had probably been there less than 6 months. It's all adding up isn't it!

Thanks for the good times Paul. Your $500 service has cost me a week of cleaning wet carpet, fights with my spouse, scared kids, and $3500. Maybe you'll call me back now and at least recommend a sewer odor remover for my basement.

The service I have received from Bill and his team is absolutely horrendous. I own a property in Chicago and my tenants contacted Bills team to replace a water heater. I spoke with his plumber Ray and was told they would begin work at 830am the next day. Without an update, the crew did not show up until 1030 am.  After working for an hour they noticed they could not fit the proper sized tank and would need a smaller one. In the meantime when they removed the original tank the crew damaged my walls. Neither the change in tank size nor the damage was communicated to me by their staff and I was told by tenant. When I called Ray to inquire about the damage he made it sound as if it's the price of doing business because of how difficult it was to remove the tank.  At this point the job was still not complete and Ray requested full payment.  I was told several hundred would be deducted for the difference in pricing. I asked to speak with Rayssupervisor and at this point was given Bills number. Needless to say, I have called Bill over 5 times now with no returned calls. I have withheld payment until I receive a new invoice. In the meantime, Bill has used my tenants credit card without permission for payment. I just received a text this morning stating Bill would deduct $30 for the smaller water heater and $300 for the wall damage. I still have yet to receive a new invoice nor actually speak with Bill live about the horrible service I received. Communication is key in a situation like this and could have been used to better understand each mis step. Instead Bill handled this the worst way an owner could by ignoring the bad service and his customers request for open communication. I would never recommend this company for any type of contracting work and will be reporting them to the better business bureau. I have included pictures of the damaged wall

The update from the owner below is completely and utterly false. To this date I have yet to even receive a phone call. I would stay as far away from this establishment as possible.

They broke a pipe in my house causing thousands of dollars in damage to the levels below and refused to fix the problem with any discount to normal pricing. They blamed the issue on the previous plumber and then when they realized that it was in fact them that did the previous work they changed thei...

Four Seasons came to my place to check my AC/Furnace yesterday.
They gave me a window of 1P-6P, and luckily came by 3P.
The tech was very knowledgable, and really explained things to me.
He checked all my units thoroughly, and gave sound advice.
Overall cost was a bit high, though I was able to use a $50 coupon.
I would recommend.

I had a plumber from Four Seasons come out to fix a leaky faucet.  I knew it was a simple job.  The guy did a long spiel about how my faucet is expensive, he would have to special order the part yadda yadda.  He opened it up and closed it and said he would text me with a quote.  I must look like a schmuck cuz he came back with a price of $625!  I bit the $85 cost for him to come out.  Later opened the faucet myself after watching a YouTube video.  Bought the $22 part which got delivered to my house next day.  Installed it in literally 5 min!  Problem fixed for $22!  Not $625!  Stop scalping victims, Four Seasons!!!!!

I am doing a renovation in my apartment and need to replace all the pipes in the kitchen and bathroom, and had a very nice experience with Bill, Joe and everyone else from Four Season plumbing. I will definitely call them again next time I need a plumber and would like to recommend them to everyone who needs a plumber.

Here are the reasons for my recommendation.

1. Efficiency. When I ask Bill if his man can start work tomorrow, he said yes and worked late to get all the documents required by my building. The plumber arrived with everything ready the next morning.

2. Professionality. Joe did the evaluation for the work. He explained what they are going to do and answered all my questions clear.

3. Financial efficiency. They charge less than all other plumbers I asked while finishing all the jobs with high efficiency and high quality.

4. The work took longer than I had expected because of the terrible management office in my building. We need to shut off the water in the building because my apartment does not have a separate shut-off valve. It happens several times the plumbers came to my apartment but the building engineer told them the scheduled water shut-off cannot be done and they need to wait for another day or even another week. I feel sorry for their wasted time but these guys never complain.

Overall, I would like to recommend Four Seasons Plumbing to everyone who needs a plumber to do the work. I hope I never need to call a plumber at 2 AM for emergency pipe repairing. But if I do, for sure I will give these guys a call.

Bill, I'm happy to send you a photo of the contract, which states you will replace the floor tiles as a courtesy. If you don't want to do it as a courtesy, then you shouldn't say you will. As for the dirt & spring check, I'm also happy to send you screen shots of the calls & text messages Aaron sent to you, that you have ignored. We already paid someone else to take care of the dirt. Given the bad end we had in communications at the end of this project, with the floor, coupled with your ghosting again this spring, prompted me to write this. You can't cash a check, disappear & then be surprised when people are displeased with your service.

They charged me $346 for a minor kitchen drain problem. The kitchen was in a condor and the drain was not the main pipe. They did a rod job and it only took roughly half an hour to finish. To me, their price is too high compared to the market average I see on google and other contractors I hired before. Despite agreeing on the price at the end, I just wish they could at least tell me a range or a minimum of pricing before they came. They just refused to give me that information over the phone. The reason I chose them for the work is that they would charge me $85 for a visiting fee nonetheless.

Also on their website, the review score for their service is 4.9 out of 5. I should not have used it as a reference, because that score may be subject to self-selection bias. Should have checked more sources like Yelp.com for reference.

Besides that, the work was nicely done thanks to the plumber.

Four Seasons came out twice to my house and did an amazing job. I couldn't find anyone to come out in Black Friday, thanksgiving weekend but Bill helped and his crew came late at night and kept working until the addressed the sump pump failure.
When I need the plumbers again, the once more came out promptly and took good care of the repairs and cleaning of sewer line etc.
They offered education on what was occurring and explained everything in great detail. They were honest with their quotes and pricing. They were not pushing sales or services that I did not need.
Most importantly Bill and Mike and his crew were friendly and gave me the reassurances I need in a difficult time. Five stars all around.

Bill the owner cares about customers satisfaction. His plumbers showed up on time 2 day in a row. One of his plumbers and I had an argument by miscommunication, but Bill took care of it and solved within 5 min. He is fast and knows what he is doing. Smart guy.

It's so hard to find a trusted plumber. I recommend Four Seasons Sewer & Plumbing based on my experience.

I am amending my 1-star review after a reaching resolution with a terrible experience.

The short version of a long story is that there was an employee who handled me and my situation very poorly. That employee is no longer with the organization as a result.

Bill Taylor reached out to me and apologized profusely for the negative experience and poor treatment I received. Once he learned of all the issues made a swift effort to ensure that I was taken care of. He sent me a couple of very thoughtful notes explaining what happened, and he was also very receptive to feedback.

I am always willing to give a business another chance when they do the right thing in the face of a bad experience caused by their people or products. In this case Bill really stepped up and restored my faith in his company.

Just had our water heater go out on a Sunday evening. We called Four Seasons (888-457-1423) and within an hour they sent a repairman who was the nicest guy (Mark). Could not have been more pleased. They're coming tomorrow to install a new one and they waved the service fee! Woohoo!

I take SERIOUS issue with Bill stating that my review contained any embellishments or inaccuracies -- what I wrote in my original review is how the events went down and I stand by my statements.

To summarize: there was no proactive communication of delays on multiple occasions, many days of our time were wasted, and the work was not done well. Period.

Regardless of what was happening behind the scenes or the issues Four Seasons Sewer & Plumbing had internally with their plumber, it was their responsibility to proactively communicate status updates whenever anything changed. If email wasn't the preferred medium, they should have called us to let us know. I was never once told not to communicate directly with the plumber or to only communicate with the office. Once they were made aware that there were issues with this particular job, they should have taken better care to make sure things went smoothly by practicing the customer service for which they're apparently so well-known.

According to Bill, the plumber wasn't being honest with either of us and that is entirely possible. However, there is absolutely NO reason to claim my comments were embellished or in any part inaccurate. I was involved in every interaction with the plumber doing the work, Bill was not. Nor had he ever been on-site.

Also: my landlord was never out of the country during this time -- Bill told us via email that HE (Bill) was out of the country and that was why our multiple emails had gone unanswered by Four Seasons. Nothing about the scheduling delay was due to after-hours scheduling, calls or work -- I was sitting in my home waiting for the plumber each and every day, all day (which I stated in my original review). We were never told that a supervisor was going to be coming to do the work in place of the tech, and the reason I told Bill to go easy on the guy he eventually fired was because the guy told me he was scared of being fired for being late (the tech told me he had never been given our address by Four Seasons (and to his credit, our place is hard to find once you do have an address)).

I suppose these details don't really matter now but I'm HIGHLY irritated that I'm going to be accused of falsifying my actual experience with a fake story made up by the owner. I have no reason to lie about anything here, I have absolutely nothing to gain by doing so.

Realistic scheduling expectations, effective communication, and a quality job would have greatly reduced the amount of frustration felt by everyone. We hope that the remedial actions taken will improve future customer experiences but we will not be taking up the discounted offer on future work.

Use at your own risk.

Called On 10/21/2017, Four Seasons to get estimate on rodding  drain outside of the basement.  They came out the same day and assessed that the ejector sump pump was also out and needed to be replaced. The tech said the pump and installation would cost $1350 and another $250 to rod out the drain.   I then called around and described the plumbing to a few other independent plumbers and they all said that the price should be no more than $850, max.  I then told the Four Seasons tech what I discovered and then the tech just started stammering after a few seconds of silence, saying that he quoted company price.

I had the same work completed the same day by another firm for $650 ,  new ejector pump ( with  warranty and installation) and  rodding.

Buyers beware of Four Seasons Plumbing.
Perhaps I was given the South Side Price Quote.

For a change, I had a plumbing problem that WASN'T an emergency so I had some time to get some estimates and set up an appointment. William answered my request for quote and indicated he would be my contact and a plumber would be out between 8a-10am the next day. Communication was good, timeliness had some issues but after Promising things would be on time thereafter and offering a conciliatory discount, a plumber came right out that afternoon, quickly assessed my problem and was prepared to fix things  immediately which he did. I was presented an invoice and plumber waited while I confirmed the cost with William, accepted my check for a reduced amount as promised (but not communicated to plumber). If this had been an emergency, I would've been stressed by the multiple texts and reschedules but for this issue, I was very satisfied with the plumber, dispatcher and price and I will probably call them again to at least quote a job if I have a plumbing issue.

Bill and Dominic could not be rated anything better than the top rating!  They are fantastic.  The company has never let me down.  From start to finish they have fast response time and fast turnaround for appointment time.  Bill is very flexible and can be reached via his cell and Dominic is always arriving with top notch advice and great customer interaction.  If you need a plumber for any reason please call them.  You will not be disappointed.

I have had 3 experiences with this company. I first contacted them when I accidentally dropped something in the toilet. I had called 5 plumbers even made an appointment with one in my immediate neighborhood to meet in a couple of hours. He was a no call/no show. So the 2 4S plumbers who came out on this very hot day worked hard and took care of things. (In my opinion, one seemed to work harder than the other (just saying!) but they did excellent work.) The 2nd time started very bad, set up an appointment and there was a no show/no call, then couldn't get in touch with anybody because of what turned out to be a phone system problem. So unlike the first time. Finally spoke to the owner who had been out of town & because of his apologies, his concern and remembering the previous positive experience I went with them again. That plumber was just ok but I also was given a big discount on the work, which was nice. My last experience was this past Friday, the hard working plumber from my first time came out (though I didn't recognize him at first). Eric showed up on time, was professional, showed me the problem, & quickly got the part from Home Depot. Before he left for the part he asked if there was anything else I need work on which I thought was nice. He fixed the problem let the water run to let me know it was fixed & then cleaned up everything. He was awesome. It was as he was leaving that we realized he had been here before. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

I called Four Seasons Home Services because I had plumbing problems and I needed an estimate. Ray came to the house and diagnosed the problem and suggested the solution. We were having issues with water pressure, lack of hot water, and knocking pipes.

The servicemen arrived at 8am the following day to do the repair work that was needed. My house is 50+ years old and needed new copper pipes and a new hot water heater to replace the 22yr. old workhorse in my basement, which was beginning to fail. They were diligent in their work, cleaned up after themselves, (very important), and courteous. Both men finished replacing both the pipes and the hot water heater in one day. The next day, only one serviceman was needed to replace a portion of the drywall which was knocked out.

Now that a week or more has passed, I can say that I am completely satisfied with all of the work that was done. I totally recommend Four Seasons for your plumbing needs.

After being stood up by the plumber we had scheduled ( here's looking at you your neighborhood plumber!) I called four seasoning and with in a hour I had two of their plumbers at my door.
Joseph L. Was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and over all did a great job. He also provided me with some useful tips to prevent our tenants kitchen sink pipes from freezing again. We will definitely be using their services again should we ever have any sort of plumbing issues.

They did a great job.....they were running slightly behind but both Joe and Bill called me to let me know and let me know when they would arrive (only about 15 minutes late), fixed the problem with the kitchen sink and then took the time to look at my other sinks that were not stopping properly or draining slowly so that I could maximize the service fee.   They ended up rodding one sink to fix it and then fixed the stoppers in the other two sinks.   They were fast and professional and would definitely use them again

So far so good.  Have a odd space where my toilet sits under a banjo counter.  need to replace it and out of 3 companies, this one is so far the best.  The came same day and right on time.  Actually took measurements and promised to get back in a day or there about with a firm estimate once they locate a model that will fit.  Professional and responsive.  I will update once estimate received and if I choose them for the work.  I sued them for an HVAC replacement and they were excellent, so I bet they will pretty darn good ont he plumbing as well.  Wish us luck!

Grossly exaggerated the scope and cost of the job and requested a sizeable down payment. Then surprised me with a lower total and said I would get a refund since the final cost was less than the down payment. But I had to chase after them to get the refund.

Revised review:
1. Bill, the owner, called and offered to refund the $99 house call fee if I removed this review.

2. Paul, the technician who came to our house, did not have any obvious issues with his back and tried to pressure me to make a decision that afternoon.

3. Paul, the technician, did not tell me he could have a rheam water heater delivered that day, Sunday, and instead he focused on trying to commit me to a Bradford and White in Monday morning.

4. I would call DRF partners who works with home depot or some other reputable contractor, not Four Seasons.

My original review from November:
I had a broken water heater that happened on Saturday evening...

I called four seasons and they said they had two crews on Sunday and would send someone around noon..

I did not see a plumber until later in the afternoon, and when he arrived, he confirmed the water heater would not start, had water in the power vent, and needs to be replaced.

However they recommended a brand with very poor reviews, Bradford and white, and could not replace it until Monday.

I called home depot, hired their subcontractor DRF, and had a Rheem water heater installed that night... That plumber told me Bradford and white is not as good as Rheem but that many plumbers can make more money on these from the manufacturer..

Choose your plumber and water heater wisely..

I scheduled a service call in December, and they ran late on another job.  They offered to come the next day, which I agreed to, but they failed to show up.  I rescheduled a few weeks out in January for 9 AM and took the day off work.  I get a phone call at 10 AM today from a plumber who had no idea what the issue was and was suggesting I flush lemon juice down my drain.  Sorry bud, but I've tried that, and it won't fix the issue.  I told them to send somebody who knew what the problem was. They said they would send somebody else out.  It's 5 PM, and no one has bothered to show up or call.  Three missed appointments.

I experienced a great overall experience from start to finish! I'm truly astounded at the responsiveness, communication, and honesty that these guys demonstrated. I was having a severe backup in the drains in my basement and called a different company that I used from a flyer left on my door (which was a big mistake!). The company from the flyer seemed to be experts at the work I needed done and I figured it was a sign that this was the company I should use. I called them and it took them two days to get to my house to fix the problem. They charged me $650 for rotting (cleaning it with a machine) even though it didn't fix the problem. Then they told me I would need to dig up my basement and front yard and install a clean out right out in front of the house. This work was going to cost me another $8,500.00! I told them I would have to get a second estimate and this company assured me that I wouldn't find anyone cheaper, and if I didn't sign up with them right then and there, the cost of the job would be more! I was really turned off by them at this point and decided to see if there were plumbers on Yelp, which I wish I had done to begin with.

So, I called Four Seasons Sewer and Plumbing as they had good reviews and appeared to have experience with this work. I called and gave my information and Bill called me back within 1 minute. Even more incredible, he had the plumbers to my house in about 40 minutes for a free assessment. The other company charged $199 just to come to my house before doing any work. Bill was extremely polite and spent 15 minutes of his time chatting with me and explaining in detail what the problem could be. When the plumbers arrived, they immediately started to do the same rotting service the other company had done and did find that there was an issue. However, these guys put a camera in the line, something the other company said they wouldn't do because our line was so bad that they didn't want to ruin their camera. The plumber Joseph said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the sewer in our basement, but there was a problem near the sidewalk. They quoted me a third of what the other guys quoted me and also said they would waive the cost of the service just performed! I was extremely pleased with this information and contracted with them right then and there. They even started the next morning with the work and had it finished in a day and a half. They mentioned that not only did I not have to destroy my basement to fix this, but if a had installed the cleanout where the other company wanted me to put it, I would have had to do even more work to fix where the real problem was. Joe was great and the other workers were super polite. I also have to give special mention to Bill who was continuing to communicate the itinerary though text and answered all my calls, even outside of normal hours. I'm glad that companies like this still exist and I really want to thank Four Seasons Sewer & Plumbing again for really saving me and making this an ultimately hassle-free experience!

Not worth single penny.

I had bathtub cloggin issue. The guy who showed up said he could fix the problem but it turns out that whatever he worked on,didn't last 24 hours. We had to call him again.

He keep selling his services to fix other things in my household and giving me estimates in thousands. One thing he did say he didn't guarantee his work as its old building.

Well if I spend $340 to unclog my bathtub and fix doesn't work for week , does it even worth recommending this company to anyone.

I am calling other plumbers to see if anyone else can help.

I don't recommend this Company for any services

I had a great experience with Four Seasons! I have a daycare in the Bucktown neighborhood and one morning our sewer backed up and we had a HUGE mess. Four Season's was out to fix our problem in 10 minutes! The guys that helped us explained everything they were doing, they were VERY respectful of our staff and our sleeping babies, and were quick and efficient. I will definitely be using this company in the future.

Some people who call themselves tradesmen, etc. are determined to get away with as much as they can. The 2 individuals that came to fix a toilet problem came shouldering in without even thinking to bring their own drain auger and then proceeded to get sewage everywhere down 2 floors. They were asked to move 6 cases of new hardwood floor material out of the way of the leak (it was the floor above) and first lied, then rudely refused to do so, since they had already been paid, then skulked around smirking like adolescents.
Clean up is an item on the bill, yet they left sewage everywhere from where they had opened up a ceiling to access the plumbing from below. They also felt no qualms about ruining several hundred dollars worth of materials. These people are as lazy, rude, and unprofessional as they come.

Ok,I was staying with my cousin in Lincoln Square and at about 10 at night I went down to her basement and noticed a disgusting smell, which I assumed was coming from the sewer.  She didn't know any plumbing companies, so I looked around online for her and found this company called, Four Seasons.  Within 20 minutes of my initial call, two plumbers showed up at the door. They were very nice and explained what the issue was, then rodded the sewer as they put it.  They did a great job and I was lucky enough to find such great help last minute. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone in the area.

I had an issue with my hot water heater and called one plumbing company who told me I needed to get my whole unit replaced.  I wanted a second opinion before I committed to spend almost $1400, so my friend John recommended Four Seasons.  After I spoke with them on the phone, a plumber came to my house in less than an hour and told me there was a small leak and no reason to buy and install a new unit.  I am very happy with their honesty, customer service, and work.  Will use them again.

Eek! 2 hours late and charged me $99 to tell me that my neighbor upstairs had a problem, not me (literally took 5 minutes) Only reason why I gave more than one star is because they answered the phone on a Sunday night. :-/ to set up my appointment for Monday.

This company got the job done eventually but there were some amateurish things they did which takes away a couple stars.   First the plumber didn't tell me how messy the bathroom would get cutting into tile and got dust over everything including toiletries.   A professional would have secured the job site first, it would have only taken 10 minutes to put everything away and cover.    Second,  they didn't finish the job that day because the plumber had a personal commitment but tried to charge me to come back and finish. Third,  they hauled the old toilet out and illegally dumped it next door making it obvious where it came from.   At least take it a few blocks away guys...   Overall I'm unimpressed with this company and they are not worth the price they charged me.  Wouldn't hire again.

I had a very positive experience with Four Seasons. I was recommended to them by my neighbor to replace my water heater. Their price was 20% cheaper than another quote I had received and they did the work the same day that I requested it. My contact was Bill Taylor and he was great to work with.

Update 8/26:
Dropping to two stars.  The plumbers were courteous but I solved my own problem by reading the internet.  I am of the opinion that their professional suggestions were expensive and unnecessary.  Basically, my water heater leaks from its relief valve because there's nowhere else for the water to go.  Why is that?  Because there's a one-way valve that THIS COMPANY replaced 6 days ago!  I will go find someone else to install an expansion tank, or at least get a second opinion.

Update 8/20:
Dropping a star because the work started an hour and a half late.  Apparently there was a personal emergency so I can't complain too much, but I would've appreciated some notice.  The alternate plumber Dominick (sp?) was nice and did good work.

Original review:
I called Four Seasons because I had an inordinate amount of water pooling under my water heaters and was worried that one of them had busted.  I have thus far only interacted with Joseph, so I can't vouch for anyone else, but the service has been great.  He came on a Sunday, and was very courteous and professional in demeanor.  He got stuck in traffic coming over (due to the air show) but gave me multiple updates so I wasn't in the dark.  Came in and did a very methodical inspection of my plumbing, explaining everything along the way.  I'm an engineer by training so I appreciated his approach, and the plumbing lesson.  Eventually he figured out that the problem was actually the valve above the water heater, not the heater itself.  It's a cheaper fix, so he saved me some money.

The repair work isn't going to happen for another few days, but thus far I've been very satisfied.  If anything bad happens during the actual repair I'll update my review, but so far Joseph seems like a pretty conscientious guy.  I think he'll be my go-to for the inevitable future plumbing issues.

p.s. I read some other reviews and it seems like there might be two Josephs at the company.  I have only worked with Joseph L., FWIW.

I have had a problem w/ my kitchen sink for years. It always drained slowly and at times would completely clog. I have had plumbers rod it in the past, it would be a bit better for a little while and then completely clog again. The problem was never solved. Until Joseph from 4 seasons came over. He was persistent! He is not a quitter!! He worked for 2 hours, broke a rod from my stubborn clog, purchased a new one, returned to fight the good fight, and Success!!  He broke through the clog!! Thank you Joseph! You are my new plumber.

Professional and on time.  They sent out a plumber who had an emergency and could not make it, but they did the right thing and promptly sent a replacement who addressed and fixed the problem.

Please do not use this company. They will do a bad job and then try to get you to spend money on something you don't need!! On April 22, 2019 they came out to rod our sewer line due to a backup. Not only did they rod the line but also did Hydro jetting bc apparently, they couldn't clear the blockage. They had a camera but were very vague about what the issue was and wouldn't give straight answers or definitively show with the camera what the problem was (billed ~1200$). They went on to suggest that we would need to replace the sewer line at ~ 6,000$ or more. Today (5/3) I find out that they never cleared out any blockage in the sewer line at all! 2 weeks after they were here we found out another company couldn't get their camera to go past 40ft! The new company then proceeded to easily remove the blockage by a basic rodding of the sewer line  (which was blocked with tree roots) and showed me clearly that the pipe was now completely clear and in good condition with a camera. There is no need to dig up and replace our sewer. Four Seasons Sewer and Plumbing charged us for rodding and clearing the sewer line when in fact they didn't clear the blockage at all and were just trying to oversell us on replacing a sewer line. Luckily we got a second opinion!

I have the work order, it's this company.  Clearly there records management is on par with their repair work.   I contacted the owner back, never heard a peep.  I'm skeptical of this management change.  I stand by my firsthand experience and my review of this company.  Check my other reviews - I will do a rave review for excellence and am merciless against incompetence.  Having to give someone cash to go buy a part they should carry with them = incompetence.

During the huge freeze we got, I was calling everyone.  I spoke to the manager at four seasons to get someone out ASAP.  Fortunately, they had a guy come out and the manager gave me his personal cell phone. They got the job done real quick.  I left the wall open for it to dry out and they had a carpenter come out and seal it back up.  They even came back the next day to reinstall the disposal that they removed without charging extra to come out (Rogers park). Glad I didn't get the same service as some other folks.  They were really big on service and wanted to make sure I was happy. Looks like they listen to feedback.  Unlike some posts, I'd call them again.

I would like to point out that the owner's comments below are entirely false. I wrote this review the day of the service call because I was so frustrated. A refund was not offered to my LANDLORD (not girlfriend, don't know where that came from.) until she submitted to them a receipt from the other plumbing company that came out to fix the problem, several days later. There was no issue with faulty equipment. As I explained below, the plumber diagnosed the clog incorrectly and then rodded incorrectly, then ripped me off when I tried to use a coupon, simple as that.

I was a little confused because I thought I was getting Good Plumbing, which is a company that must also provide leads for a few local subcontractors.  The two-man team came 15 minutes ahead of schedule and kind of barked an estimate at me before digging into the problem (leaking toilet, probably pretty easy to diagnose).  Given the fact that they have to establish some cost parameters before doing the work  is understandable, but when I mentioned I had a coupon, their instant answer was this amount already includes that, which I found slightly suspicious. I'm in Marketing, so I'm always suspicious of coupons that require the bearer to notify the company that a coupon is going to be used before an estimate is prepared. I know what's up with that.
I was surprised that they didn't have the wax seal I needed and wanted to know where the nearest hardware store is located.  They seemed a little irritated that it was maybe a half mile away. Was my wax ring an odd size (this house is 100 years old)? I don't know. If it was, the local Ace Hardware had one.
They did come back within ten minutes or so and in another 20 or 25 had the job completed.  By that time, they were friendlier and more courteous.
It would have helped if they had stated We've been sent here by Good Plumbing and if their initial approach had been a little warmer.
Was $200 a fair price for this work?  It's hard to say.  The last guy charged $80, but he didn't fix the problem which resulted in damage to the dining room ceiling.

I had a pipe burst because of the extreme cold the last few days.  My wife called Four Seasons to have a plumber come out as soon as possible.  I turned off the water main and found the broken pipe.  Dominic arrived quickly, which was great.  I told him where the split pipe was and he cut out the broken pipe and soldered in a new piece.  Dominic was polite and very fast.

My only issue was paying over $300 for such a quick fix.  Although it was an emergency and they arrived fast and had the water flowing again.

I was very impressed with these guys. I noticed some water pooling two hours before I had a flight out of town and called these guys with an emergency. They seemed to drop everything they were doing and hurried over to diagnose the problem. While there they worked very hard and very fast and fixed my sump pump problem quite quickly. Just before they left, they even gave me tips on how to fix it myself next time. I'm not using any other plumber from now on.

Please note: rating is on company follow-up, not service.

Fully three years since my horrible experience with this company, the NEW OWNERS, discovered my 2011 review.  They immediately reached out to me genuinely wanting to remedy the situation.  Though I no longer had all the documentation, the new owners refunded me $80 and sent $150 in coupons for future service.

Though these new owners are certainly in no way responsible for the egregious business practices of past employees, they are genuinely committed to making things right.  I've never had an experience quite like this.  I'll absolutely give the company a try, the next time I need sewer work.

Do not call this company!! First conversation I had I was told I would be given a free estimate. When the guy shows up, he takes one look and says this is easy and I may have the part with me.

Said Plummer then decides to take a shopping trip without estimate and comes back to charge us $279 for literally 5 minutes of work. Very unethical and unreliable as they rescheduled several times.

Quick Update- Bill at four seasons did a great job and has remedied a frustrating situation and I am updating my rating based on his service and efforts to remedy the situation.

My basement was flooding starting at 9:30 pm. I had a hard time getting a plumber out. Everyone I called assured me they would be here within the hour and nothing. I finally called Goodie Plumbing, they said someone would call me back who was in my area, by this time it was after 1am.  Strangely Four Seasons plumbing called and said someone would come by shortly. Paul showed up, very nice man. Let me know upfront how much he would charge. By this time it was 2:30 am, he came alone and quickly jet-powered my drain which unclogged it.
I am definately going to call them again.

I have had about 3 or 4 years of using Bill and his team at Four Seasons, and decided to write a review today because yet again, he has gone out of his way to help me fix plumbing issues with my condo within a few days notice. A few months ago, my pipes burst outside on the deck because after i had winterized, the condo's deck cleaning company had turned my outside water back on without my knowledge. ( I now live in California, and only return to my Chicago condo on occasion) With a frozen waterfall forming off my roofdeck, Bill sent his team out the same day. They assessed it, stabilized it and came back within the week to make repairs. They have helped me with my Kohler ceiling shower that clogged up,  and last summer a leak that went into my neighbors condo from my 2nd bathroom. They even wrote up descriptions for the insurance company within days of me asking.
They have always kept cost to a minimum and Bill has been so nice and helped me in any way he could. He's been nothing but helpful.
To comment on other reviews.... well, plumbing is not cheap, and its not cheap to run a business. You have to pay for your crew, your equipment, parts, supplies, rent for the office, the trucks/ transportation and gas to get you to each job. $200-275 for a well running sink or toilet with the job done right the first time, doesnt sound unreasonable if you consider that. Were there parts bought? And if it takes only 20 minutes is that so bad? Would you feel better if it took them an hour or 2? I'd prefer efficiency over time.
Sometimes i think people only review when they have a bad experience, so i wanted to make sure to write a review since i have had years of good work done with Bill and his company. I keep coming back when i need him and i will continue to do so!

I actually live in Houston, TX but I own a condo in Logan Square in Chicago. My tenants called me last week....the water heater had busted and they needed someone there in a hurry to see what could be done. I called Four Seasons and they sent someone over within 2 hours. Paul was very helpful. He explained the issue and gave me a hard quote on the spot over the phone. My water heater was 10 years old and needed to be replaced. The quote that I was given was the most competitive of the three quotes that I got. Paul came in first thing the next morning and replaced the water heater. I haven't seen the work by my tenants say it was done well and in a reasonable timeframe.

I'm very pleased with the service to date....but only time will tell (I find comfort that the water heater comes with a 6 year warranty). As things stand currently I would feel very comfortable with going back to Four Seasons with any future plumbing needs.

I recently came home to water in my basement, which we determined was our hot water tank leaking! We found Four Seasons through a google search and they were able to come out within a couple hours of our call. Once they came the plumber determined that our tank was leaking internally and would need a new one, he seemed knowledgable and very courteous. He installed new tank and even took the old one with them. The price seemed fair and more importantly the timing was quick and efficient. I would definitely be giving them a call anytime I need a plumber! I was actually quite surprised to see some negative reviews on yelp but I would recomend them to any one of my friends and family members!

Well, I had a kitchen sink clog on Labor Day weekend, so I was pretty much going to pay whoever showed up first.  Four Seasons was the first of four to get someone on site, and we paid $275 for about 20min of work.  When it comes down to it, nothing I did got the sink to drain, and I kind of wanted to use my kitchen.  The total bill of $275 was rather expensive, but I didn't have a choice.   Not sure if I would call them again unless I had to.  I am pretty sure like others that I got a subcontractor, but at least the showed up, got the job done, explained what they did and were nice about it.

My water heater was failing (low supply and it was 15 years old).  Called around to a few places.  All were within about $150.  4 Seasons was the cheapest in the range and was available to install same day.  Decided to go with 4 seasons.  Plumber showed up within 30 minutes, took out the old unit.  Guy with a truck showed up with a new unit shortly thereafter, 30 minutes later the new one was in.  Another hour and I had a hot shower again!

Extremely friendly and nice and I have always gotten a human to answer the phone!  They had 2 guys come fix a toilet for us last summer. who were both very friendly and knowledgeable.  Several months later there was a minor problem with the same toilet and they came out, no questions asked, to make an adjustment.  The second visit was from Joseph, who couldn't have been nicer.  He also checked out a 2nd toilet of ours and made a minor adjustment to it...for no charge.  I would certainly recommend these guys!

Yelp to the rescue again!  They did a solo trip to the downtown to fix our toilet. A pulley in the toilet was rusted and flap valve was broken. I called them in the morning and they came out the same day in the afternoon on time. Charges were reasonble and I also received a small discount for going through Yelp. The nice thing is that this company runs on a strong work ethic, quality service and customer loyalty...the way good business should be done.

Unfortunately, not such a great experience the second time around... they refused to give me an estimate over the phone to replace our garbage disposal, and I found myself negotiating what I thought was an EXTREMELY unfair price (I have no problem paying for labor, but when it came to the cost of the actual disposal the guy was trying to charge me TWICE what it cost when I pulled it up at homedepot.com right in front of him... really?!?). Long story short, I found myself in a very uncomfortable situation, being that this man was arguing with me, in my home, and appeared to be a very disgruntled employee - being a petite female, I was very intimidated. Could not wait to get him out of my home.

The guys were really polite, did a great job, and came in a very timely manner. Unfortunately I was not happy to see an astounding invoice balance. I went ahead and sent them the check but will have to ask for an estimate next time. I would recommend them from a service standpoint but I would make sure you know what you are paying beforehand.
